Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan alat peraga timbangan bilangan pada pembelajaran penjumlahan di kelas I Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pontianak Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sifat penelitiannya adalah kolaboratif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti dan siswa kelas I C Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pontianak Selatan yang berjumlah 25 orang. Hasilpenelitian yang diperoleh yaituskor kemampuan gurumerencanakan pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan 0,60dari siklus Idengan rata-rata 3,30 sedangkan siklus II dengan rata-rata3,90. Selain ituskor kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran juga mengalami peningkatan 0,75 dari siklus I dengan rata-rata 3,16 sedangkansiklus II dengan rata-rata 3,91. Pada hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan 24,80dari siklus I dengan rata-rata 66,40sedangkan siklus II dengan rata-rata 91,20.Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga timbangan bilangan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan pembelajaran penjumlahan dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar Negeri Pontianak Selatan. Kata kunci:Hasil Belajar, Alat Peraga Timbangan Bilangan Abstract:This is researchaimed to describe the increaseoutcome of students using props scales the sum of numbers on learning in class I of State Elementary School 16 South Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The nature of research is collaborative with the form of classroom action research. Subjects in this study were researchers and students of State Elementary School classIC 16 South Pontianak totaling 25 people. The results obtained are teachers plan learning ability scores increased 0.60 of the first cycle with an average of 3.30, while the second cycle with an average of 3.90. Besides scores of teachers in implementing the learning ability also increased to 0.75 from the first cycle with an average of 3.16, while the second cycle with an average of 3.91. On the learning outcomes of students has increased 24.80 from the first cycle with an average of 66.40, while the second cycle with an average of 91.20. It can be concluded that the use of props scales numbers can improve the ability of teachers in planning, implementing learning addition and can improve student learning outcomes State Elementary School class I South Pontianak. Abstract

AbsractLearning style is the way that selected learners tend to react and use stimulants-stimulant in absorbing and then organize and manipulate information on the learning process. For a teacher knows the style of learning each learner is the important thing because it can be in the set as reference in selecting the style of teaching that is appropriate. Common problems of the research is "how learning style On Learners Learning Program as the basis for the preparation of Class VIII SMP Negeri Pontianak 8 Years 2017/2018?". The general objective of this research is to obtain the information clearly and objectively about the analysis of learning styles On the learners as the basis for the preparation of the Program of classes VIII SMP Negeri Pontianak 8 Years 2017/2018. Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is an analysis on the academic achievement different on eleventh grade student of SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi between morning and afternoon class on Economy subject. The goals of this research are to describe and analyze factors which affect the achievement.  The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive in form of comparative casual study, and the sources of data are primer and seconder. The Techniques used in this research are interview using guidelines on a teacher whom teach the subject, observation using guidelines, documentation. Based on the data analysis, the average score are: class A score is 19, 05 with 47, 63 points, class B is 19,44 on score and 48,61 points. The results are categorized low due to the academic achievement which are below 50% from 100%. The factors that affect the academic achievement are poor quality building, incomplete facilities, and student numbers in morning class. Afternoon class achievement are categorized as intermediate. The score of class C is 28,05 with 70,13 points. The score of class D is 27,05 with 68,08. Academic achievement on afternoon class are categorized as intermediate with the average points 70,13 from interval point 1-100,wich are above 50%.Keywords: Analysis, affective factor, academic achievement

Abstract

AbstractThe purposed of this research is to find out the effect of PQ4R method on the students? learning outcomes in material of blood circulation system in human body in the eight grade of SMPN 3 Siantan. This research was quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Research samples were class VIII A as the experimental class and VIII B as the control class, with a saturated sampling as a sampling technique. The instrument was the multiple choice test with 20 questions. The average student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 15,41, while the control class was 14,18. The results of the t test analysis showed that tcount 2,28 > ttable 1,68, meaning that there were significant differences between the learning outcomes of students taught used PQ4R method and the learning outcomes of students taught used a lecture method. The effect size was 0,2324 with falling into the moderate category, having an effect of 23,24%.Keywords:            PQ4R Method, Learning Outcome, Material of Blood Circulation System in Human Body

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to analyze the effect of the application of picture and picture models to the narrative writing skills of third grade students at SDN 10 East Pontianak. The method used is the experimental method, a form of research Quasi Experimental Design, with the type of Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research is all third grade students consisting of 93 students. The research sample consisted of class III A as a control class and III B as an experimental class. The data collection tool used was a form essays with two questions. Based on data analysis, the average post-test results of the experimental class were 61,76 while the average post-test results of the control class were 56,92. The results of the t-test are obtained tcount of 2,768 and ttable α = 5% (dk = 29 + 26 - 2 = 53) of 1,676. Because tcount (2,768)> ttable (1,676), Ha is accepted. From the results of the calculation of the effect size obtained is 0,55 (medium criteria). This means that the application of picture and picture models have a good influence on the narrative writing skills of third grade students at SDN 10 East Pontianak. Keywords: Picture and Picture Models, Writing Skills, Narrative

Abstract

 AbstractThe general problem of this research is the conflict analysis of the main character in the novel Dear Nathan by Erisca Febriani tells the story of a child with all kinds of problems he faces both internal conflicts and external conflicts in his family and also his school environment.The problems in this study were: (1) the main conflict of the main character, (2) the external conflict of the main character, (3) the implementation of literary learning about internal and external conflicts. The purpose of this study was to describe the internal conflict and external conflict of the main character. This study uses a description method with qualitative research. The data from this study are sentences that indicate the internal and external conflicts of the main character. The technique used in this study is documentary study, and the data collection tool is the researcher itself as a key instrument. Based on the results of data analysis there are 58 internal conflict data and 8 external conflict data. Keywords: conflict. character, novel

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research  is to determine the use of telling story method in developing moral behavior to 5-6 years old children at RA Baitul Juma'ah West Pontianak. this research used qualitative approach and descriptive method. The samples are 5-6 years old children at B1 class consisted 18 children and also the teacher of B1 class. The techniques of data collection were interview, observation, documentation, and field note. While the technique of data of analysis were data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion or verification of data. Based on the results of data analyzed on the use of telling stoty method in developing moral behavior in 5-6 years old children in Baitul Juma'ah West Pontianak, the researcher concluded  that the the use of telling stoty method in developing moral behavior in 5-6 years old children  in Baitul Juma'ah Pontianak are effective and followed the steps to implement the telling story method, the problems faced during storytelling activities, and the media are sufficient and the activities given are related to the development of children's moral behavior. Keyword : Telling story method, Moral Behavior.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, materi yang diajarkan, media yang digunakan, penilaian hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran memahami unsur intrinsik novel remaja pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 15 Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif.Data dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran memahami unsur intrinsik novel remaja padal kelas VIII SMP Negeri 15 Pontianak.Sumber data adalah guru dan siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi langsung dan teknik tes.Alat pengumpul data adalah pedoman observasi, tes tertulis.Hasil penelitian pelaksanaan pembelajaran memahami unsur intrinsik telah dilaksanakan dengan baik oleh guru, materi yang diajarkan sudah meliputi semua unsur intrinsik novel, namun materi sudut pandang tidak diajarkan secara utuh, media yang digunakan oleh guru adalah papan tulis, namun penggunaan papan tulis belum mampu menarik minat siswa secara penuh, penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru hanya mencakup penilaian kognitif dan psikomotor, seharusnya guru juga menilai sikap siswa.   Kata Kunci: pembelajaran, unsur intrinsik, novel remaja   Abstract:The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the study, the material taught, media used, assessment of student learning outcomes in learning to understand the intrinsic elements of the novel on a grade VIII SMP 15 Pontianak region. This research uses descriptive methods, are qualitative. The data in this study are learning to understand the intrinsic elements of the novel at class VIII SMP 15 Pontianak region. The data source is the teacher and the students. Engineering data collection using direct observation techniques and engineering tests. Data collecting tool was written tests, observation guidelines. The results of the research implementation of learning to understand the intrinsic elements have been well do by the teacher, the material being taught already includes all intrinsic elements of the novel, but point of view material has not been teach by the teacher fully, the medium used by teachers is the Board, but the Board has not been able to interest students in full, the assessment conducted by the teacher only includes cognitive and psychomotor assessment, teachers should also measure the student's attitude learning. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to increase students' learning motivation in learning Social Sciences using the mind mapping model in class V SDN 16 Kuala Mandor B. This study used a descriptive method in the form of classroom action research (CAR) and was collaborative in nature. The subjects in this study were teachers as researchers and class V students, amounting to 14 students, this study was conducted in the even semester located in class V SDN 16 Kuala Mandor B. Data collection techniques used were direct observation. Data analysis technique used is to use the average calculation formula. This research was conducted in 3 cycles with the results of 1) the average ability of teachers to carry out learning is as follows, in the first cycle of 3.20, in the second cycle of 3.41, in the third cycle of 3.76. 2) the average percentage increase in intrinsic learning motivation in cycle I was 37.50, cycle II was 55.36 and cycle III was 78.57. 3) the average percentage increase in extrinsic learning motivation in the first cycle was 45.24, the second cycle was 61.91, and the third cycle was 85.71. From the data obtained it can be concluded that mind mapping models can increase students' learning motivation. Keywords: Learning Motivation, Mind Mapping Model, Social Sciences.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to improve students’ vocabulary especially recognizing the word meaning in reading descriptive text. This research was conducted on the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015. In this research, the subject is class XD that consists of 9 students. The researcher conducted a classroom action research in her research and helped by the teacher during the research period. The data were collected by using direct and measurement technique. The tools of data collecting were observation checklist, field note, and test. Personal Vocabulary Notes was used as the technique in this research which is conducted the research in two cycles. The research findings showed that the mean score of students’ vocabulary test in the first cycle is 52.22 to 77.80 in the second cycle which means it successfully passed the KKM. It can be concluded that the students’ vocabulary taught by using personal vocabulary notes in reading descriptive text was improved. Keywords : Vocabulary, Personal Vocabulary Notes, Descriptive Text Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengenal arti kata dalam bacaan teks descriptif. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas XD SMA N 10 Pontianak pada tahun akademik 2014/2015. Dalam penelitian ini sasaran penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas XD yang terdiri dari 9 orang siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dan peneliti dibantu oleh guru bidang studi selama masa penelitian berlangsung. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tehnik penilaian dan observasi langsung dengan menggunakan tabel pemeriksaan, catatan lapangan, dan tes. Tehnik yang digunakan adalah personal vocabulary notes dan dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan skor rata-rata tes siswa pada siklus pertama adalah 52,22 menjadi 77,80 pada siklus kedua yang berarti siswa dapat melewati standar KKM. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap arti kata dalam bacaan teks descriptive dapat meningkat melalui pengajaran menggunakan personal vocabulary notes.
