Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to find out how the application of role playing models to student self-efficacy on economic subjects in class X IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Ledo. The research method was quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control grup design The Subject of this research is X IPS 1 as controlled class and X IPS 2 as experiment class which the total is 54 students. The technique of data collection were done by direct observation techniques and analayzed by percentage descriptive analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of the research, the percentage of student self-efficacy using role playing learning models in class X IPS at the first meeting amounted to 66.32% sufficient category and at the second meeting 78.06% in the good category. The percentage of  student self-efficacy without using the role playing learning models was the conventional learning model in class X IPS 1 at the first meeting of 50.55% in the less category and at the second meeting 62.09% in the sufficient category.  The value of effect size is  1.13 and inclued in the high catogey. This shows that the application of role playing learning models was more effective in increasing self-efficacy of student learning on economic subjects than conventional learning models. Keyword: Role Playing, Student Self-Efficacy

Abstract

Abstrak: Berdasarkan pengamatan yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa aktivitas belajar dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Leaning Tipe Stard pada pembelajaran matematika pada setiap siklusnya mengalami peningkatan untuk nilai rata-rata baseline aktivitas fisik sebesar 52,5% rata-rata siklus I sebesar 62,5 % dan pada nilai rata-rata siklus II sebesar  82,5% untuk nilai rata-rata baseline aktivitas mental sebesar 45% nilai rata-rata siklus  I sebesar 55% dan nilai rata-rata pada siklus II sebesar 70%. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata  baseline aktivitas emosional sebesar 55% nilai rata-rata siklus I sebesar 72,5% dan nilai rata-rata siklus II sebesar 87,55%. Kata Kunci : Aktivitas Belajar, Cooperative Learning  Tipe STAD, Pembelajaran Matematika Abstract: Based on the observations that have been done show that the learning activities using a model of Cooperative Leaning stard type on mathematics learning in each cycle has increased to an average value of baseline physical activity by 52.5% on average first cycle of 62.5% and the value of the average cycle II of 82.5% to the average value of baseline mental activity by 45% the average value of the first cycle of 55% and the average value of the second cycle of 70%. While the average value of baseline emotional activity by 55% the average value of the first cycle of 72.5% and the average value of the second cycle of 87.55%. Abstract

Abstrak: Peneliti merumuskan fokus penelitian manajemen mutu layanan pendidikan, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah Pengawas SMA Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Sekadau, Kepala Sekolah SMA Karya Sekadau, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Guru-Guru, Staf Tata Usaha, dokumen program  yang dilakukan sekolah terkait dengan manajemen mutu layanan pendidikan. Data dikumpulkan peneliti dengan mengunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis membuahkan temuan sebagai berikut: (1) Layanan pendidikan yang dilakukan di SMA Karya Sekadau Kabupaten Sekadau terdiri dari layanan proses pembelajaran dan pembinaan siswa maupun guru dan staf tata usaha, (2) Perencanaan mutu layanan pendidikan termasuk kategori baik dengan melibatkan pihak terkait : kepala sekolah, dewan guru, staf tata usaha, komite sekolah dan pengawas SMA Kabupaten Sekadau, (3) Pengendalian mutu layanan pendidikannya dilakukan sebelum, saat dan setelah rencana dilaksanakan dalam bentuk monitoring, (4) Perbaikan mutu layanan pendidikannya dilaksanakan secara kontinu melalui identifikasi proses dan metode perbaikan, membentuk tim yang bertugas melakukan perbaikan serta penyediaan sumber daya dan pelatihan-pelatihan.   Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Mutu, Layanan Pendidikan   Abstract: Researchers formulate a research focus of service quality management education, This study used a qualitative approach with case study. The data used is the Senior Supervisory Sekadau, Principal School Karya Sekadau, Vice Principal, Teachers, Staff Administration, conducted school program documents related to the quality management of educational services. Researchers collected data by using observation, interview and documentation. The results of the analysis yielded the following findings: (1) Service performed in high school Karya Sekadau consists of service learning and coaching students and teachers and administrative staff, (2) Planning quality of education services including both categories by involving related parties: the principal, the teachers, administrative staff, (3) Control of service quality of education carried out before, during and after the plan was implemented in the form of monitoring, (4) Improved quality of service studies conducted through the identification and continuous process improvement method, forming a team assigned to conduct repairs and the provision of resources and training.   Keywords: Management, Quality, Education Services

Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research was to find out the appropriate reading comprehension material samples designed for teaching  narrative texts. This research was conducted to the second semester of eleventh grade students of SMAK Talino Sungai Ambawang in academic year 2014/2015. The method of this research is development research. The participants were taken from class XI IPS that consisted  of  32 students and an English teacher . The data were collected by using observation, questionnaires and interview. Based on the data analysis, the result of the observation checklist showed that most of the students were motivated and involved actively during the teaching learning process. The result of the teacher?s interview after  implementation showed that the reading comprehension material samples designed by the writer are appropriate for the students. As the conclusion, according to the teacher?s and students? feedback of the questionnaires the level of reading comprehension material samples designed by the writer had fulfilled the 3 aspects in designing the material and appropriate for the students. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa semester dua kelas XI IPS di SMAK Talino Sungai Ambawang pada tahun akademik 2014/2015. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah pengembangan penelitian. Peserta dari penelitian ini di ambil dari siswa kelas XI IPS yang terdiri dari 32 siswa dan juga guru pelajaran bahasa Inggris dari sekolah tersebut. Data di peroleh dengan menggunakan  pengmatan, wawancara. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa siswa termotivasi dan aktif selama proses belajar mengajar. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil wawancara terhadap guru bahasa Inggris menunjukan bahwa contoh materi pemahaman membaca yang dirancang oleh penulis cocok dipakai untuk siswa. Kesimpulannya, berdasarkan tanggapan guru dan siswa dari hasil angket yang disebarkan bahwa contoh materi yang dirancang oleh penulis telah memenuhi 3 aspek dalam merancang materi dan cocok untuk siswa. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi cermin di SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre-experimental design dengan bentuk one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik intact grup dengan melibatkan 22 siswa. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa 10 soal pilihan ganda dengan tiga alternatif jawaban disertai alasan terbuka. Diperoleh persentase rata-rata penurunan miskonsepsi sebesar 39,54% pada tiap siswa dan 46,59% pada tiap indikator. Hasil perhitungan harga proporsi diperoleh  = 0,48 dengan tingkat efektivitas sedang. Berdasarkan uji statistik McNemar dan uji binomial, secara keseluruhan pada setiap soal terjadi perubahan konseptual siswa yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah remediasi menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode demonstrasi berpengaruh dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi cermin di SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan alternatif guru dalam melaksanakan remediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi cermin.   Kata Kunci : Remediasi, miskonsepsi, metode demonstrasi, efektivitas, cermin Abstract: This study aims to know the influence of implementation of demonstration as learning method to remediate student’s misconceptions about mirror in Junior High School. The research method used pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample were chosen by intact group method, involving 22 students. The tool for collecting data is 10 multiple choice questions with three alternative answers and the opened reasons. It was found that the average percentage of misconceptions reduction was 39.54% on each student and 46,59% on each indicator. The results of the calculation of the proportion obtained ΔS = 0.48 with medium effectiveness category. Based on the statistical test of McNemar and binomial test, overall there is a conceptual change significantly on each question between before and after implementation of demonstration as learning method. The implementation of demonstration as learning method was influenced to remediate student’s misconceptions about mirror in Junior High School. This study was expected to be an alternative for teachers to remediate student’s misconceptions about mirror.   Keywords: Remediation, misconceptions, demonstration learning method, effectiveness, mirror

Abstract

Abstract A common problem in this research is whether the CTL approach can improve the narrative writing skills of VB class SDS Pertiwi Pontianak Tenggara? The general objective of this research is to improve the narrative writing skills by using CTL VB class SDS Pertiwi Pontianak Tenggara. This research used a descriptive method with class action research form, and the nature of research is collaborative. The research took place in SDS Pertiwi of Pontianak Tenggara with research subject is student of VB class which amounted to 26 people. Data collecting technique used is direct observation technique with data collection tool that is observation sheet and measurement with data collection tool test. The collected data is analyzed by calculation of averages and percentages. This research is done as much as II cycle with 2 times meeting at every cycle. The results obtained are the ability of teachers in designing learning in the first cycle with an average score of 3.17, second cycle increased to an average score of 3.93. The result of the teacher's ability to carry out the learning on the first cycle with an average score of 3.29, on the second cycle with an average score of 3.98. Student learning outcomes on learning narrative writing skills on the first cycle average is 75.78 and the average cycle II is 83.07. From the analysis of data that were obtained, this shows that the use of CTL approach can improve narrative writing skills. Keywords: Improvement, Writing Skill, Essay of CTL Approach

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis “The Influence of Student Motivation on Sociology Learning Outcome Class X IIS SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak”. The common problem studies “How the influence of students’ motivation on learning outcome of sociology class X IIS SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak?”. The method used is descriptive method and form of study correlation. Total population is 120 respondents and sample is 93 respondents. Data collection technique used indirect communication technique and documentation techniques. The technique processing and data analysis using Simple Linear Regression with SPSS 23 program. The results of the research prove that the students’ motivation class X IIS SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak is low with percentage 38,7%. The percentage of sociology learning outcome class X IIS is low (35,5%). The result of hypothesis testing shows there is a positive and significant influence between students’ learning motivation on student learning outcome with tcound (2,467) > ttabel (1,987). Regression equation Y = 38,54 + 0,253X, indicating student’s learning motivation incress one, sociology learning outcome class X IIS increase 0,253. Adjusted R Square = 0,52 it means contribution influence of students learning motivation toward sociology learning outcome class X IIS SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak including medium category with 52%. Keywords: Student Motivation, Sociology Learning Outcome

Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of Children Learning In Science (CLIS) model using PhET simulation to reduce students misconception on hydrostatic pressure in SMPN 7 Pontianak.  This study was quasi  pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. The population of this study was ninth grade  students in SMPN 7 Pontianak. Intact group random sampling was used that involving IX F. the average decrease of student misconceptions were 38,03% with significant conceptual change by Mc Nemar test ( ). There was significant conceptual change after remediation by apply CLIS model using PhET simulation to reduce students misconception on hydrostatic pressure. Result reveal that the effectiveness level was 0,67 (medium). This research is expected to be used as an alternative remediation activities to reduce misconception in learning process and improve student’s learning outcomes.   Keywords: Misconception, CLIS, PhET, Hydrostatic Pressure

Abstract

AbstractThe Purpose of this research are : 1) Android based interactive Learning Media design For Learning Physisc In Senior High School; 2) Android based interactive Learning Media Profiles For Learning Physisc In Senior High School; 3) The Implementation Of Learning Using interactive Learning Media For Learning Physisc In Senior High School; 4) Student Learning outcomes after using interactive learning media based  on android for Learning Physisc In Senior High School. In this research and development using Four D Development design models. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang. Product development trials are carried out through  expert validation stages, one to one trials, medium groups and large groups. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, indirect communication techniques, measurement techniques, and documentaries with observation sheet collecting tools, student response questionnaires, test questions and documentation. The analysis of the data used for the results of validation and obeservations is to divide the total score obtained by the maximum score. Cognitive learning acquisition of 77,24 is included in good category., affective domain is 85,65% included in the excellent category and psychomotor domain of 79,17 % included in good category. Keywords : Android, Learning Media, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThe embodiment of  guidance and counseling functions is an effort made by counseling techers in implementing counseling services such as understanding, prevention, poverty, and maintenance and development functions. These functions need to be implemented so that learners are able to maintain and develop their potential. The researcher wanted to know more deeply about the realization of guidance counseling functions in the students of class X IPS SMAN 1 Pontianak. The problem in this study is “How is the embodiment of guidance counseling functions in students of class X IPS SMAN 1 Pontianak?”. This study aims to obtain a description of the embodiment of guidance counseling functions in students of class X IPS SMAN Pontianak. The method used is descriptive with survey research from. The sample of this study was 53 people. This study use a quantitative approach. Data collecting techniques of this research is indirect communication techniques with questionnaire data collection tools and documentary study techniques with document data collection tools. Data analysis techniques using percentage calculation. Based on the results of data analysis embodiment guidance and counseling functions in students of class X IPS SMAN 1 Pontianak as a whole reached 80,54% with the category of “Good”.Keywords: Embodiment Functions, Service, Guidance Counseling
