Abstract

Abstract This study aims to improve teacher performance through the ability of teachers in design and implement learning that is marked by the success of teachers in improving student learning outcomes. The stages in this study are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This continues to be repeated so that the research objectives are achieved. This research is collaborative, uses descriptive methods with a form of classroom action research, and is collaborative. Data collection techniq used were direct observation and question sheets and measurement techniq with data collection tools namely observation sheets. The collected data is calculated and analyzed by an average calculation. The data analysis technique used is to use an average calculation formula. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of Primary School 02 Sebente amounting to 25 students consisting of 17 male students and 8 female students. This research was carried out in 3 cycles with the results 1) the average ability of the teacher to plan learning, namely as follows in the first cycle 3.13, in the second cycle 3.26, in the third cycle 3.60. 2) the average ability of teachers to carry out learning as follows in the first cycle 3.01, in the second cycle 3.20, in the third cycle 3.64. 3) the average student learning outcomes are as follows, in the first cycle 55.92, in the second cycle 74.81, and in the third cycle 86.29. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that the Scramble method can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Improvement, Learning Outcomes, Scramble Method, Social Sciences.

Abstract

 AbstractThis research describes the words of woven crafts in Dayak Bakati'Palayo language. A common problem in this research is the meaning component of the word woven handicrafts in the Dayak Bakati'Palayo language. The general problem is divided into three subproblems, namely the components of meaning, meaning of words, and semantic functions. This study aims to describe the components of meaning, meaning of words, and semantic functions found in the word woven crafts. This research was conducted using descriptive methods with qualitative forms. Data collection methods use proficiency methods, binary opposition, and structural. This study managed to collect 27 data components of meaning. From 27 data meaning components there are 27 data meaning words. This study also produced 10 semantic roles as sufferers, seven semantic roles as inst rumental, four semantic roles as benefactors, two semantic roles as locatives, two semantic roles as experience, one semantic role as acting, and 1 as an incentive. Keywords : Component of meaning, woven handicrafts, Dayak Bakati'Palayo

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by advertisements which found locus, illocutionary, and perlocution speech found on Sonora Radio 96.7 Fm Pontianak. This study aims to describe the type of speech acts and pragmatic meanings of speech acts used in advertisements on Sonora Radio 96.7 FM Pontianak. This research method is a descriptive method with qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out by skillful referencing and note taking techniques. The data in this study were broadcast in advertisements on Sonora Radio 96.7 FM Pontianak. Data sources are advertisements broadcast on Sonora Radio with a research period of October 20 to November 20, 201. Application of data contained on Sonora Radio 96.7 FM Pontianak which is taught ad text with KD 3.4 Reviewing the presentation and linguistic patterns of ad text, slogans , or posters (which make pride and motivation) from various sources that are read and heard. 4.4 Presenting ideas, messages, invitations in the form of advertisements, slogans, or posters verbally and in writing. Based on the results of data analysis, speech acts on Sonora 96.7 FM Pontianak adverts using Austin theory are follow locution, illocutionary and perlocution. And the speech acts that are more dominant according to Searle are expressive speech acts. The implementation of learning in KD 3.4 and 4.4 of students produces text-based advertisements, namely in the form of poster text.Keywords: advertisements, pragmatics, speech acts, Sonora Radio 96.7 FM Pontianak.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The effectiveness of systematic approach to problem solving in improving students’ ability to solve the rotational dynamics problem in SMAN 2 Pontianak was investigated. 120 students selected used intact group and randomly, obtained 30 students in XI MIA 3 class as the experimental group was taught by using systematic approach to problem solving and 30 students in XI MIA 2 class as the control group was taught by using formal education method. Essay test questions about rotational dynamics were used for data collection. The results of study reveal the average score of experimental group increased from 32.5 to 68.1 and in control group increased from 35 to 54. T–test was used on this study with the significance of 5%. There were significant differences in problem solving abilities after being remediated using a systematic approach. There are also significant difference between experimental and control groups students’ posttest scores. Systematic approach to problem solving can effectively improve students' ability to solve problems with effect size of 3.04. This study is expected to be used as an alternative learning for students who have difficulty in solving problems especially in physics. Keyword: Systematic approach to problem solving, Students’ Ability, Rotational Dynamics

Abstract

   Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kemampuan kognitif masih rendah antara lain: anak belum dapat mengelompokkan kertas warna, anak belum dapat menyebutkan warna dari kertas warna, anak belum dapat melompati kertas warna. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru 1 orang dan anak 20 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditarik suatu kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru antara lain: a) merumuskan tujuan, b) mengembangkan dan mengorganisasikan materi media, c) merencanakan skenario kegiatan pembelajaran, d) menercanakan penelolaan kelas, e) merencanakan prosedur alat penilaian. 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru sebagai berikut: a) Melakukan pijakan lingkungan, b) Melakukan pijakan sebelum main, c) Pijakan saat main, d) Pijakan setelah main. 3) Peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak sebagai berikut: a) Anak mengelompokkan kertas warna sebesar 73,3%. b) Anak menyebutkan warna dari kertas warna sebesar 80%. c) Anak melompati kertas warna sebesar 73,3%.   Kata kunci: perkembangan kognitif, Taman Kanak-kanak    1 Abstract: This research is motivated cognitive ability is still low among others: the children can not classify the color paper, the children can not mention the color of the paper color, the children can not jump over color paper. This research is a form of action research with descriptive method. The subjects were teachers one person and children 20. Based on research results, be concluded that: 1) Planning of learning that teachers include: a) formulating objectives, b) develop and organize the material medium, c) planning scenario learning activities, d) menercanakan penelolaan class, e) planning procedures tool assessment. 2) Implementation of the learning that teachers do as follows: a) Conduct environmental footing, b) Conduct a foothold before the play, c) Stepping while playing, d) Footing after play. 3) Improved cognitive development of children as follows: a) Children of color paper classifies 73.3%. b) Children mention the color of the color paper by 80%. c) Children jumping over 73.3% of colored paper.   Keywords: cognitive development, kindergarten

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk  mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan menulis petunjuk melalui model Pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) pada siswa kelas IV SDN 05  Matan Hilir Selatan Kabupaten Ketapang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subyek penelitian siswa dan guru SDN 05 Matan Hilir Selatan. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil observasi kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dan hasil tes belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) Peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran sebesar 37,5%  dengan kategori cukup tinggi. (2) Peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran meningkat sebesar 37,5% dengan kategori cukup tinggi. (3) Peningkatan hasil keterampilan menulis petunjuk meningkat dengan persentase ketuntasan siswa sebesar 66,67% dengan kategori tinggi.   Kata Kunci: Membaca Petunjuk, Model CIRC Abstract: The aim of this study was to describe the improvement of writing skills instruction through learning models Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) in the fourth grade students of SDN 05 Matan Hilir Selatan Kabupaten Ketapang. The method used in the form of classroom action research. Subjects of research students and teachers at SDN 05 Matan Hilir Selatan. The data in this study is the observation of teachers in implementing the learning abilities and test results of student learning. Results of the study are (1) Increasing the ability of teachers to plan learning by 37.5% with a fairly high category. (2) Increasing the capability of teachers in implementing the learning increased by 37.5% with a fairly high category. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil penerapan lima (5) kawasan teknologi pembelajaran pada pelajaran Biologi di SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari teknik pengumpulan data tersebut kemudian dilakukan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru Biologi dan kegiatan guru mata pelajaran Biologi di SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak menerapkan lima (5) kawasan teknologi pembelajaran yang meliputi kawasan desain, kawasan pengembangan, kawasan pemanfaatan, kawasan pengelolaan dan kawasan penilaian. Kata Kunci : Kawasan Teknologi Pembelajaran, Biologi Abstract: The research objective was to describe the application of five (5) Instructional Technology areas on Biology subject in SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. The result shows that the lesson plan and the activities of Biology teachers in SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak have applied five (5) learning technology areas that include the area of ​​design, development, utilization, management and assessment. The conclusion that both of lesson plan as well as learning activities of Biology in SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak implement the areas of design, development, utilization, management and assessment. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peranan perkembangan watak tokoh utama dalam novel Harga Diri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrument kunci.Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Harga Diri karya Saut Poltak Tambunan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian ditemukan 17 data yang mengandung peranan perkembangan watak tokoh utama yang terdapat empat permasalahan utama yaitu: 2 data pada watak tokoh utama yang dibagi menjadi watak positif dan watak negatif. 3 data pada perkembangan watak tokoh utama yaitu, dinamis tidak baik, dinamis baik dan statis baik. 12 data pada peran tokoh terhadap perkembangan watak tokoh utama. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar bagi dosen untuk perkuliahan di perguruan tinggi terutama pada Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Seni, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia pada mata kuliah Kajian Prosa semester tiga.   Kata Kunci: Peranan, Perkembangan, Watak Tokoh, Novel Abstract: This study aims to describe the development role of the main character in the novel the character of Harga Diri. The method used is descriptive method, data collection forms kualitatif.Teknik research using documentary study. Data collection tool used is the researchers themselves as the instrument kunci.Sumber data in this study is novel Dignity works Saut Poltak Tambunan. Based on the results of the study data analysis found 17 of data containing the character development of the role of the main character, there are four main issues, namely: 2 data on the character of the main characters are divided into positive character and negative character. 3 Data on the development of the character of the main character, namely, the dynamic is not good, both dynamic and static either. 12 data on the role of leader to the development of the character of the main character. The results could be used as teaching material for lecturers to lecture at universities, especially in the Department of Language Education and Art, Indonesian Education Studies Program at Prose Study subjects third semester.   Keywords: Role, Development, Character, Novel

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menyimak berita di kelas VII SMP LKIA Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Secara lebih khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan menentukan pokok-pokok berita, menarik kesimpulan isi berita, penggunaan media, penilaian pembelajaran, dan hasil pembelajaran menyimak berita di kelas VII SMP LKIA Pontianak. Metode dan bentuk yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas VII sebanyak 34 siswa. Hasil yang dicapai siswa dalam pembelajaran menyimak berita sudah cukup baik, karena terdapat 18 siswa  yang sudah mencapai nilai KKM > 75, sedangkan siswa yang tidak mencapai nilai KKM <75 sebanyak 16 siswa.   Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Menyimak, Berita Abstrack: This research had a purpose to describe of listening news of seventh grade students at SMP LKIA Pontianak in a academic year 2015/2016. Specifically, this research was aimed to describe in determining the headline news, drawing the conclusion of the content news, media usage, learning assessment, and the learning outcomes of the news listening instruction to the seventh grade students of SMP LKIA Pontianak. The method and the shape that was used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The source of the data in this research was the Indonesian language teacher and  the seventh grade students were about 34 students. The result that was achieved by the students in learning the listening news were enough well, because there were 18 students had achieved KKM score >75, meanwhile the student did not achieved KKM score <75 almost 16 students. Abstract

Abstrak ; Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar Negeri 02 Samalantan menggunakan media konkrit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Seluruh Siswa SDN 02 Samalantan yang terdiri 16 orang laki-laki 14 Perempuan. Dari hasil penelitian yang penulis lakukan selama penelitian terdapat perubahan keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan proses pembelajaran dimana sebelum penelitian dilaksanakan keaktifan siswa hanya mencapai rata-rata ulangan harian siklus I,  56, 33% dan 70, 66 %. Dengan nilai rata-rata siklus I:  60. Karena hasil tindakan kelas pada siklus I belum mencapai target yang ditetapkan maka peneliti bersama observer sepakat untuk melanjutkan tindakan kelas pada siklus II. Pada siklus II yang terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu mencapai 79, 33%  nilai rata 73. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penulis paparkan di atas maka membuktikan hasil yang cukup siknifikan dan dapat di terapkan di SDN 02 Samalantan, Kabupaten Bengkayang. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Matematika, Media Konkrit Abstract: The purposes of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning to the first grade students of SDN 02 Samalantan . This research was used descriptive method . The subject of this research was all of the students of SDN 02 Samalantan which consist of 16 man and 14 woman.  From the research was conducted by the writer  during the research activity of the students there are changes in the activities of the learning process in which prior research conducted student activity only reached an average daily tests first cycle , 56 , 33 % and 70 , 66 % . With the average value of the first cycle : 60. Because the class action on the first cycle has not yet reached the target set by the researcher with the  observer agreed to continue the class action on the second cycle . In the second cycle  occurs improvement  to the  student learning process which reach 79 , 33% with the average value 73 . Based on the research it proves  the result is significant and can be applied at the school SDN 02 Samalantan, Bengkayang regency.   Keywords  : Mathematics Learning , Concrete Media
