Abstract

Abstract:Mathematics learning which is commonly abstract, needs a learning method using a concrete media, so the conceps can be understood easly by students. This research aimed to describe tacher’s improvement in planning Multiplication learning using realia media, describe teacher’s ability in conducting learning using realia media, and describe improvement of students’ learning result in Multiplication by using realia media. This research was a Classroom Action Research to the Second Grade Student of SDIT Al-Karima Pontianak Tenggara with the class teacher and 18 students as the research subject. This research was conductedin two cycles with the implementation of planning,acting, observing, and reflecting stage in each cycle. Technique of data collecting in this research were direct observation technique using observation sheets and measurement technique using test, performance assessment sheets. Data collected was then analized using data analyzing techniques. The research results showed that the use of realia media in Multiplication was effective in improving students’ learning result in second grade of SDIT Al-Karima Pontianak Tenggara with the mean reaching 94,26.Keywords : Realia Media, Learning Mathematics, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract This background research conducted from the researcher’s will to find out form of presentation and music function in Besiak Ritual of Antar Ajong Ceremony in Paloh Subdistrict of Sambas District. The purpose is to description the presentation form and music function in Besiak ritual on Antar Ajong ceremony. The method used is descriptive-qualitative method of qualitative form. It used ethnimusicologhy approach. Technique of data collecting applied observation, interview and documentation technique. Investigation technique of data validity are extension monitoring and triangulation technique. The technique of data analysis used interactive data analysis, which divided into three steps, they are data reduction, data presenting, and concluding / verification. The research’s results is description about music presentation form in Besiak Ritual on Antar Ajong ceremony including music instrument, player, stage lay out, make up, wardrobe, sound, lighting, formation and narration of presentation. Music function description in Besiak ritual on Antar Ajong ceremony including ceremony/ritual media, dance accompaniment, entertainer and communicating media. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to develop a three tier diagnostic test of temperature and heat subject in junior high school. This research explained the characteristics of diagnostic test. The method in this research was developed from Borg and Gall development model which has been simplified.The test consists of 30 multiple choice questions with reason and level of confidence. The test involved 31 students on small-scale trials, and 92 students on large-scale trials. The developing diagnostic test can be used to reveal the misconceptions of students, with the characteristics of 1) high validity level, 2) high reliability, 3) low difficulty level, 4) problems made with simple language 5) designed to detect common mistakes, 6) developed based on early conceptions of students. Based on the characteristics, a question that can be used as many as 13 questions from 30 questions developed. Abstract

AbstractThis research discussed about increasing Students’ Speaking Ability Using Sequenced Pictures Story, A Classroom Action Research on the eighth grade Students of SMP Negeri 7 Pontianak in Academic Year 2017/2018. The focus was on pronunciation aspect. The research problem was “How does Sequenced Pictures Story technique improve students’ speaking ability of year-8 students of SMP Negeri 7 Pontianak  in academic year 2017/2018?” In teaching-learning process, the participants were 25 students of VIII B class of which the teacher and the researcher was a collaborator. The result of this research showed that students’ speaking ability, especially in pronunciation had increased. In first cycle, students had some problems in pronouncing words, and pause inappropriately, while in the second cycle, they had time to practice more, thus their problems were solved. In conclusion, Sequenced Pictures Story could be applied to increase students’ speaking ability, especially pronunciation.Key words: Sequenced Pictures Story, Speaking Ability, Pronunciation

Abstract

AbstractThis research is to increase student activity using Jigsaw type in Social Science lesson class V Elementary School 01 Ketiat Bengkayang. The method used is descriptive method with class action research form. The results obtained from the ability of teachers in planning learning has increased from cycle I with an average score of 3.16 to 3.33 in cycle II to 3.56 in cycle III and can be categorized very well. The ability of teachers in implementing learning has increased from cycle I which has an average value of 3.34 to 3.45 in cycle II, to 3.85 in cycle III and can be categorized very well. Increased student activity in Social Science learning using class V jigsaw type is evidenced by the average acquisition of students in the first cycle of 66.06 on the second cycle of 70.53 and in the third cycle of 82.14. Based on this data analysis, it can be concluded that jigsaw type can be used to increase the activity of grade V students of elementary school 01 Ketiat Bengkayang.Keywords: Student Activity, Jigsaw Type and Social Sciences

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengaruh Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Metode Scramble Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri  34 Pontianak Selatan. Tujuan penelitian  ini adalah untuk menganalisis apakah penggunaan Model Pembelajaran kooperatif metode Scramble dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 34 Pontianak Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. bentuk penelitian yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi exsperimental design. Berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh hasil rata-rata tes akhir (post-test) kelas kontrol 60,26 dan rata-rata tes akhir (post-test) kelas eksperimen 71,41, diperoleh thitung sebesar 3,919 dan ttabel (α = 5 %) sebesar 1,997 yang berarti thitung > ttabel (3,919 > 1,997), maka Ha diterima. Dan dari hasil perhitungan effect size (ES),diperoleh ES sebesar 0,851 dengan kriteria tergolong tinggi pada rentangan ES > 0,8 . Hal ini berarti penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif metode Scramble memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 34 Pontianak Selatan.   Kata Kunci : Pengaruh, Metode Scramble, Hasil Belajar Abstract: Influence of Cooperative Learning Model Method Scramble Against Student Results In Social Science Learning Class III State Elementary School 34 South Pontianak. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether the use of cooperative learning model Scramble method can improve learning outcomes third grade students of State Elementary School 34 South Pontianak. The method used in this study is the experimental method. forms of research that researchers use in this study is quasi exsperimental design. Based on analysis of data obtained an average yield of final test (post-test) control class average of 60.26 and final test (post-test) experimental class 71.41, obtained t of 3,919 dan ttable (α = 5%) amounted to 1,997, which means tcalculate >  ttable (3,919> 1,997), the Ha accepted. And from the calculation of effect size (ES), ES obtained at 0.851 with criteria is high in the range of ES> 0.8. This means the use of cooperative learning models Scramble method provides a high impact on learning outcomes of students in the Social Sciences in class III State Elementary School 34 South Pontianak.   Keywords: Effect, Method Scramble, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis research entitled the influence of tutoring by Khatulistiwa Berbagi Social groups on the learning achievements of marginal children in the area of Komplek Waduk Permai Pontianak. This research purpose to find out the influence of tutoring on the learning achievements of marginal children, with the general problem is "How the influence of tutoring by Khatulistiwa Berbagi Social groups on the learning achievement of marginal children of Komplek Waduk Permai Pontianak area" is quantitative with the research subjects of 58 marginal children selected from 67 marginal children using sample random sampling method. Data collection techniques are indirect communication techniques and documentation techniques, data collection tools are questionnaires and archives. The results obtained showed the influence of tutoring by Khatulistiwa Berbagi Social groups by 68% and the learning achievement of marginal children of Komplek Waduk Permai Pontianak area is 84.5%, both are in the high category. The result of hypothesis testing shows that there is a positive and significant influence between tutoring and marginal student learning achievement with rCount bigger than rTable (0.845> 0.254) and Sig value. smaller than Alpha (α) (0.00 <0.05). Regression equation Y = 14,090 + 0,873 X showed that if tutoring increase one, hence learning achievement increase equal to 0,873. Adjusted determinant value R2 = 0.708 which means the influence of tutoring on learning achievement is 70.8% and 29.2% the rest is influenced by other factors.Keywords: Tutoring, Khatulistiwa Berbagi, Learning Achievement, Marginal

Abstract

AbstractContent mastery services are guidance and counseling services that provide assistance to individuals (students) both alone and in groups to master a particular content through learning activities.This study aims to analyze the content mastery service on students VIII of SMP Bumi Khatulistiwa Kubu Raya Year 2017. The method used is descriptive method and the form of research is survey form. The population in this study as many as 30 students. This research uses quantitative research. Data collection techniques used are direct communication in the form of interviews and indirect communication techniques in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage. Based on the results of data analysis of content mastery service research about readiness to achieve the score in the category of "Good". This shows that content mastery service about learning readiness has been done and has been applied well also by learners. Keywords: Content Mastery Service, Readiness Learning

Abstract

AbstractQuality education is not enough only through the science of education and technology alone, for that guidance and counseling is tasked with assisting the acquisition of science and technology through education. One service that can be given to students to achieve optimal development in accordance with their potential was classical guidance services. Guidance and counseling services that can help maintain and increase learning motivation, namely classical guidance services because classical guidance activities can help students to get a lot of information from counselors that can be used to help solve problems faced, especially in improving student achievement. A common problem in this study was "What is the Classical Guidance Service About Motivation for Learning for Students in the XI Class of Social Sciences in Pontianak 2 High School?" The method in this study was descriptive and the form of research is a form of study survey. "The population in this study was 180 and a sample of 47 students in class XI IPS at Pontianak 2 High School. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the understanding of students concepts in solving fraction counting operations in fifth grade elementeri school 03 Pontianak Kota. The research method used in this study was descriptive in the from of case study research. The subject in this study were 25 fifth grade elementeri school 03 Pontianak, totaling 25 students.The results of the study showed that the understanding of the concept of upper group students totaling 5 students was high because it could fulfill the first indicator and the second indicator. to understand the concept of the middle group is enough, from 14 students as many as 8 students can meet the first indicator used by researchers that is using, utilizing, and selecting certain procedures or operations and the second indicator is applying the concept to problem solving, while as many as 6 students cannot fulfill indicators used by researchers. while the understanding of the concept of lower group students totaling 6 students is low because it cannot meet the first indicator and the second indicator used by researchers. overall the understanding of students' concepts in solving operational problems in fractions in class V is still low with an average student score of 50.07.        Keyword: Fraction , Level of Ability , Understanding of Concepts
