Abstract

AbstractThis study contained the Role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Improving Student Learning Motivation. The problem in this study was how  the role of the teacher and the counseling as: (1) Motivator (2) Director (3) Initiator (4) Falisitator (5) Mediators (6) Evaluator. The method used descriptive method and the form of research is survey. The population is 45 people. This study used a quantitative approach. The data collection technique while the data collection tool is a questionnaire. The results of the study showed the Role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Improving Learning Motivation for Class X Students in Pontianak State High School in the category "Good". (1) The Role of Counseling Teachers as a 93% Motivator, with the category "Good". (2) The role of Counseling Teachers as Director is 98% in the "Good" category. (3) The role of the BK teacher as an initiator is 96% with the category "Good". (4) The role of Counseling Teachers as Falisiator is 96% with the category "Good". (5) The role of the BK teacher as a Mediator is 95%, with the category "Good". Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media diorama pemanasan global yang ditujukan untuk siswa kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen validasi. Diorama tentang pemanasan global disertai dengan lembar panduan penggunaan untuk guru dan untuk siswa. Validasi diorama dan lembar panduan penggunaannya dilakukan secara terpisah. Validasi dilakukan oleh 5 validator. 2 validator merupakan dosen pendidikan biologi, sedangkan 3 validator lainnya merupakan guru biologi kelas VII SMP. Hasil validasi diorama dan lembar panduan penggunaannya berturut-turut mendapatkan nilai sebesar 3,80 dan 3,71. Keduanya dikategorikan valid dan dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran pemanasan global untuk kelas VII. Kata kunci: diorama, kelayakan, pemanasan global Abstract: This research aimed to determine the feasibility of diorama as the media for global warming materials for grade VII of Junior High School. This research was a descriptive study. Data collection were done by using validation instrument. The diorama of global warming was accompanied with teacher?s and student?s guide sheets.  The validation of the diorama and its guide sheets were done separately. The validation were done by 5 validators. 2 validators is the lecturers of biology education, while 3 others is the teachers of biology for grade VII of Junior High School. The validation of diorama and its guide sheets were obtained for 3.80 and 3.71 sequencely. Both are categorized as valid and feasible for global warming learning for grade VII. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan memahami bacaan dengan menggunakan metode CIRC dalam teks ulasan film dan mengetahui hasil pembelajaran membaca teks ulasan film pada siswa kelas XI SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian secara kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru bersangkutan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan tindakan kelas meningkat dari metode pembelajaran CIRC memberikan kemudahan dalam berdiskusi dengan kelompok. Siswa lebih aktif dan kreatif selama dalam  kegiatan membaca, mengajukan pertanyaan dan menjawab pertanyaan, serta lebih antusias dalam mengungkapkan pendapat yang dimiliki. Penelitian dilakukan dua siklus terdiri dari kegiatan pendahuluan, inti dan penutup terlaksana sesuai yang dirancang oleh peneliti dan guru. Kata Kunci : Teks Ulasan Film, Metode CIRC.   Abstract: This study aims to improve reading comprehension skills by using the CIRC in the text of a movie review and find out the results of learning to read the text of a movie review in class XI Senior High School Mujahidin Pontianak. The method used is descriptive qualitative forms of research. Data collected through observation, interviews with the teachers concerned. The results of the analysis of the data reveals that the rise of a class action learning methods CIRC provides convenience in discussion with the group. Students are more active and creative during the reading, asking questions and answering questions, and more enthusiastic in expressing opinions held. The study was conducted in two cycles consist of preliminary activities, the core and the project on its cover designed by researchers and teachers.   Keys Word : The Text Reviews The Film, Method CIRC

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengendalian sosial yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam mengatasi perilaku membolos siswa di SMAN 1 Mempawah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Sedangkan alat pengumpul data adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian sosial preventif, koersif dan kuratif yang dilakukan oleh guru di SMAN 1 Mempawah sudah berjalan sesuai dengan proses pengendalian sosial yang ada, hal ini terlihat dengan adanya pengendalian preventif yang dilakukan oleh guru dengan cara mengingatkan dan memberikan sosialisasi tentang tata tertib yang ada di sekolah kepada siswa. Selain itu pengendalian koersif juga dilakukan oleh guru yaitu memberikan sanksi kepada siswa yang membolos dengan cara memberikan tugas tambahan kepada siswa. Hal lain yang ditemukan yaitu adanya pengendalian kuratif yang dilakukan oleh guru kepada siswa yang melanggar tata tertib membolos dengan memberikan pembinaan kepada siswa tersebut. Kata kunci : Pengendalian Sosial, Pelanggaran Tata Tertib, Membolos, Siswa SMA Abstract: This study was aim to determine the social control carried out by teachers in addressing the behavior of students' ditching at SMAN 1 Mempawah. The method used was descriptive. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation study. While the data collection tools were a guide observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that social control preventive, coercive and curative done by teachers at SMAN 1 Mempawah been run in accordance with the process of social control that exist, it was seen from the control preventive done by teachers by way of reminder and provide socialization on the discipline in the school for students. Besides that, coercive control was also performed by teachers in imposing sanctions on students by providing additional tasks to the student. Another thing was found that the curative control performed by the teacher to the student disciplinary breaches was providing guidance to these students. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan poster buah jeruk (Citrus sp.) pada sub materi zat makanan kelas XI SMA kota Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah deskriptif melalui validasi media poster. Pengambilan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan yang menjadi validator adalah 2 dosen Pendidikan Biologi dan 3 guru biologi yang mengajar kelas XI SMA Negeri Pontianak yang menggunakan kurikulum KTSP. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis Content Validity Ratio (CVR) dan Content Validity Index (CVI) dengan memvalidasi 12 kriteria penilaian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai CVR dan CVI poster kandungan gizi buah jeruk adalah 0,99 yang berarti bahwa poster kandungan gizi buah jeruk (Citrus sp.) layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada sub materi zat makanan kelas XI SMA di Pontianak. Kata kunci: gizi buah jeruk, poster, sub materi zat makanan  Abstract: This study aimed to know the feasibility of oranges (Citrus sp.) poster in food nutrient sub material in eleventh grade student senior high school Pontianak city. This study form was descriptive with validation of poster as media. Data taking used purposive sampling technique with validators consideration were 2 Biology Education lecture and 3 biology teacher that were teaching in eleventh grade senior high school with KTSP curriculum in Pontianak city. Data analysis used Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI) with 12 assessment criteria which were validated. Analysis result showed value of CVR and CVI of nutrient oranges poster were 0,99 refers to oranges (Citrus sp.) nutrient content poster feasible used as learning media in food nutrient sub material in eleventh grade senior high school in Pontianak. Abstract

Abstrak This study aims to describe the development of learning media and produce software that is suitable to be used as a medium of science teaching in primary schools designed for self-learning and groups. Individual and small group trials were conducted for respondents with high, moderate, and low ability. Data from trials are used to revise the software before it is used in field trials. The results of  the validation by science subject matter experts and instructional media expert shows that learning media software on a Likert scale has a very good quality learning (with value 4,5), the quality of the learning strategy is excellent (with value 4, 2), the quality of media products good is efficient (with value 4,0), the display quality is very good (with value 4,4), and technical quality and effectiveness of the program is very good (with value 4,3). The average results of field trials showed that learning media software on a Likert scale has a very good quality (with value 4,6), the quality of effectiveness for learners is very good (with value 4,6) .   Keywords: Learning Media, Science, Macromedia Flash 8

Abstract

Abstrak : Tesis ini berisi hasil penelitian tentang pendekatan kolaboratif dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu di kelas III SD Negeri 21 Kuala Mandor B. Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimanakah rancangan , pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan perilaku belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan kolaboratif di kelas III SD Negeri 21 Kuala Mandor B?. tujuannya untuk mendeskripsikan rancangan,  pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan perilaku belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik dengan pendekatan kolaboratif di kelas III SD Negeri 21 Kuala Mandor B. Hasil penelitiannya adalah : (1) RPP tematik dengan pendekatan kolaboratif yang dibuat oleh guru secara umum telah memenuhi syarat dalam pembuatan RPP tematik; (2) Pembelajaran tematik dengan pendekatan kolaboratif dilaksanakan sesuai dengan perencanaan dan secara simultan menggunakan metode serta strategi pembelajaran yang bervariasi; (3) Evaluasi yang dilakukan tidak bersifat monoton, dan menggunakan beberapa instrument penilaian (4) Perilaku belajar peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan yang diberikan oleh guru dapat terlihat melalui penerapan pembelajaran tematik dengan pendekatan kolaboratif. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran tematik, pendekatan kolaboratif   Abstract: This is a research about collaborative approach in integrated thematic learning on the third grade students of elementary school number 21 Kuala Mandor B. The research problems was how the design, implementation, evaluation and behavior of the students in the integrated thematic learning using collaborative approach on the third grade students of elementary school number 2 Kuala Mandor B. The purpose was to describe the design, implementation, evaluation and behavior of the students in the integrated thematic learning using collaborative approach on the third grade students of elementary school number 2 Kuala Mandor B. The results were (1) thematic lesson plan using collaborative approach done by the teacher was fulfil the thematic lesson plan acquirement in general; (2) thematic learning using collaborative was done according to the design and using varied method and strategy of learning; (3) the evaluation was not monotonous, and was used multiple assessment instrument; (4) students’ learning behavior in solving the various problem could be seen through the application of thematic learning using collaborative approach. Abstract

AbstractThis study is aimed at identifying the students of Plantae class X MAN Sambas. The research method used is descriptive method with survey research form. The  populatin in this research is the students of class XI MAN Sambas which consists of class XI MIA, XI IIS, and XI IIK. Subjects in this study were 34 students of class XI MIA MAN Sambas. The procedure in this research consists of three phase, the preparation phase, the implementation phase, and the final phase. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. The questionnaire fron in this study is a closed questionnaire. Response assessment consists of two criteria: responses and reactions. The response criterion consists of two aspects: format and relevance. While the reaction criteria consists of three aspects: attention, satisfaction and confidence. The questionnaire consists of 20 statements with 10 positive  statements and 10 negative statements. The questionnaire analysis shows that the students responded positively to the documentary on Plantae material with the average percentage of 83.84%.Keywords: Students' responses, Documentary film, Plantae

Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to investigate whether or not the use of picture series affect the students’ writing of recount text and to find out the effect size of the improvement of students’ writing of recount text after being taught using picture series of the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. The form of this research is pre-experimental study with one group pre-test and post-test design. The population of this research is the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak, while the sample is class X A that consists of 32 students. The research findings show that the mean score of pre-test is 59.41 while the mean score of post-test is 69.16. It shows that picture series improves the students’ writing of recount text. The result of this research shows that t-test is higher than t-critical the value is 5.512.042. It means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a highly significant effect of the use of picture series for teaching writing of recount text on the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. Keywords: Picture Series, Teaching Writing, Recount Text

Abstract

Abstract:This study aimed to describe : 1).Discipline, 2).Responsibility, 3).Learning Interests, 4).acquisition of Social Science lesson. The method used is descriptive with quantitative approach. The type of research is correlational (relationship). Data analysis technique used statistical descriptive analysis assisted by SPSS program 17. The tool used is questionnaires and documentation daily test scores. The study was conducted in Grade V of primary school 17 Kubu Raya. Subjects of the study participants amounted to 52 people. Result of research: 1).discipline with Social Science learning achievement obtained r counte > r table or 0.682>0.271 at 5% significant level. 2).responsibilities with Social Science learning achievement obtained r counte > r table or 0.733>0.271 at 5% significant level. 3).interest in learning with Social Science learning achievement obtained r counte > r table or 0.750>0.271 at 5% significant level. 4). discipline, responsibility and interests learning in together with the learning achievement obtained r counte > r table or 26.125>2.80 at 5% significant level. Conclusion: 1).there is a significant correlation between discipline and learning achievement, 2).there is a significant correlation between responsibility and learning achievement; 3).There is a significant correlation between interest learning and learning achievement 4).There is a significant correlation between discipline, responsibility and interests learning in together with the learning achievement. Keywords: Discipline, Responsibility, Interest Learning and Learning Achievement
