Abstract

Abstractthe purpose of the study was to describe the lingual form of cultural terms in ritual Antar Tumpang Adat Pernikahan of malay people in Ngabang. describe the meaning of cultural terms in ritual Antar Tumpang Adat Pernikahan of malay people in Ngabang. describe cultural meaning ritual Antar Tumpang Adat Pernikahan of malay people in Ngabang.in the form of spells, myths, taboos, and oral literature.The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The approach is sociolinguistics. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan psikomotorik siswa kelas X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak pada praktikum larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sebanyak 31 orang siswa terlibat dalam penelitian ini yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. Lembar observasi keterampilan psikomotorik dan lembar wawancara merupakan alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Kemampuan psikomotorik yang digambarkan meliputi pada keterampilan membersihkan alat-alat praktikum, menggunakan timbangan, menggunakan labu takar, menggunakan pipet tetes, menggunakan gelas ukur, merangkai alat uji elektrolit dan nonelektrolit dan menguji larutan, berdasarkan hasil penelitian sub keterampilan diperoleh jumlah persentase perindikator berturut-turut 29% (kurang), 68% (baik),  68% (baik), 56% (cukup), 60% (cukup), 90% (baik sekali) dan 75% (baik).   Kata kunci: kemampuan psikomotorik, metode praktikum,larutan elektrolit dan   nonelektrolit Abstract. This study aims to determine the ability of psychomotor class X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak on lab electrolyte solution and Non-electrolytes. The method used in this research is descriptive method. A total of 31 students involved in the study conducted in class X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. Observation sheet psychomotor skills and an interview sheet data collection tools used in this study. Psychomotor abilities are described including the skills of cleaning tools lab, using scales, using a flask, using a pipette, using a measuring cup, stringing test equipment electrolyte and Non-electrolytes and test solution, based on the results of the research sub skills acquired percentage perindikator row 29% (or less), 68% (good), 68% (good), 56% (enough), 60% (enough), 90% (excellent) and 75% (good).   Keywords: psychomotor abilities, practical methods, electrolyte solution and Nonelectrolyte

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was the teacher role in shaping the discipline of the eighth class F in the country’s first high school 18 pontianak. The sub problem in this research was how a teacher’s role in giving direction, guiding, leader, motivatoin, evaluator. The analisys in study was  with qualitative descriptive, role in directing are teacher always untructing students to come on time, teacher also play role in guiding students through the guindance programs the teacger has already done to provide guindance in all religious activities. Then the teacher has also been indtrumental in watching the students, with a notebook of abuses commited by student. The theacher role as a leader in wich teachers can be a good example for student and act according to the values that are applicable in school. The teachers role as motivation can be seen in the teachers presence give motivation and cousel to student who violate school rules of discipline. Then the teacher also had done his role as the evaluatorthat the teachers always assigned to each end of the learning and assessments are based on attitudes and result of the assigment given to students.Keyword: A character of student dicipline, a teachers role.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed at designing supplementary ELT material on procedure text combining seven elements of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach of reading skill for student’s Hotel Accommodation Study Program grade XI semester 2 at SMK Panca Bhakti of Kubu Raya Regency of Kalimantan Barat Province. The research method was development research using analysis, design, and development of ADDIE procedures. The participants of this research were the teacher of Hotel Accommodation study program, English teacher, and 23 students. Questionnaire was used to collect the response of participants toward the usability of reading material designed by the writer. Based on the data analysis, the result of mean score of questionnaire of the teacher of Hotel Accommodation was 90% in strongly agreed, English teacher was 85% also in strongly agreed, and the students was 74,3% in agreed responds. As conclusion, according to respond of the participants to reading material on procedure text based on CTL approach was usable for students grade XI of Hotel Accommodation at SMK Panca Bhakti in academic year 2017-2018. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe ICM pada sub materi rangka kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Experimental Design, dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Grup Design. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI IPA 1 (kelas kontrol) dan kelas XI IPA 2 (kelas eksperimen) yang diambil menggunakan teknik intact group. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor post-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 15,5 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 14,5. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung (-2,28) < -Ztabel (-1,96). Sedangkan berdasarkan perhitungan Effect Size, strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe ICM memberikan kontribusi sebesar 22,57% terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe ICM berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi rangka. Kata kunci: index card match, hasil belajar.  Abstract: This research aims to find out the effect of active learning strategy of ICM type on sub material of structure class XI State Senior High School 6 Pontianak. The method used is a form of research Quasy Experimental Design, with the research design is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Samples are class XI IPA 1 (control class) and class XI IPA 2 (experimental class) selected using the intact group technique. Instruments are used in the form of multiple choice tests amounted to 20 questions. The findings showed the average post-test score of the experimental class was 15,5 and the control class was 14,5. The data analysis using the U Mann-Whitney test showed that Zcount(-2,28) < -Ztable(-1,96). Meanwhile, based on the calculation of Effect Size, the active learning strategy of ICM type contributed to 22,57% of the students’ learning had effect on students’ learning outcomes in the sub material of structure. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims is to be aware the remediation of student’s misconceptions by using Jerome Bruner’s learning  method on Archimedes principle at SMP Negeri 23 Pontianak. the pre-experimental design with one group pre-test-post-test design was used in this research. The sample of this research is students of class VIII F (n = 30 student) which are chosen by random sampling technique of an intact group. The instruments in this research were diagnostic tests consisting of 15 pre-test question and 15 multiple choice post-test questions with open reasons.  Based on data analysis, the  findings are : (1) The percentage reduction of students who misconceptions, after remediation  on indicator I  of  82%;  indicator II of  65%; and indicator III of  72%, with an average of  73%.  (2) There is a significant conceptual change with Mc Nemar statistic test (χ2calculate   for the whole indicator that is equal to 34,58; dk = 1 ; ∝ =0,05) after remediation. (3) The effect size of  1,75 (high category). Based on these results It was expected that Jerome Bruner’s learning  method can be used as an alternative remediation learning  activity to reduce misconceptions.  Keywords:   Misconception, Remediation, Jerome Bruner’s Learning Method, Archimedes  Principle

Abstract

AbstractThis research is a qualitative research with descriptive method that aims to determine the difficultyof students in solving word problems in terms of cognitive style in algebraic form material. Themain aspect that will be explained in this study is the difficulty of students in completing wordproblems in terms of cognitive style in the form of algebraic material for VII grade students ofJunior High School Negeri 19 Pontianak. The subjects of this study consisted of 4 students of classVII A of Junior High School Negeri 19 Pontianak who had different cognitive styles, namely FieldIndependent and Field Dependent. The results of this study indicate that students who have theField Independent and Field Dependent cognitive styles have difficulty at the stage ofunderstanding problems, planning solutions, solving problems and checking. In addition there arealso several factors that influence students' difficulty in solving story problems in terms of the FieldDependent and Field Independent cognitive styles, namely: Students lack mastering algebraicmaterial, students are less thorough and careful in solving story problems, students do not likemath lessons, students have low motivation in learning mathematics, classrooms that are lessconducive and learning methods applied in the classroom are not appropriate.Keywords: Cognitive Styles, Difficulty, Form of Algebraic

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis teks pidato karangan siswa kelas X SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak yang dilihat dari sistematika, isi, dan penggunaan kalimat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X B SMA Islam Bawari  Pontianak dengan jumlah 29 orang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa sistematika teks pidato siswa kelas X SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak terdiri atas salam pembuka, sapaan penghormatan, pendahuluan, inti, penutup, dan salam penutup. Akan tetapi, pada sistematika tersebut masih memiliki kekurangan di antaranya terdapat pada pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup. Isi teks pidato siswa saklik, jelas, hidup, memiliki tujuan, dan dibatasi seperti pada ciri pidato yang baik. Akan tetapi, isi teks pidato siswa masih belum berisi hal-hal yang mengejutkan, klimaks, pengulangan, dan humor. Penggunaan kalimat pada teks pidato siswa masih belum efektif. Hal ini disebabkan masih memiliki kesalahan berupa kecermatan, kepaduan, keparalelan, kehematan, kelogisan, dan kesepadanan.   Kata Kunci : Penulisan, Teks Pidato Abstract: This study aims to analyze the text of speeches by students class X Bawari Islamic senior high school that looks at the systematics, the content, and the use of words. The research method used is descriptive to the shape of a qualitative. This study sample is the student class X B Bawari Islamic senior high school with the number of 29 people. The data analysis shows that systematics text of the student class X senior high school with regards the opening, say hello to the respects, the introduction, the core, cover, and the closing regards. But in systematics the compassion has the disadvantage of them was that there was the introduction, the core, and an end. The contents of the text the students saklik, obviously, life, has a purpose, and constrained as in a speech. However the speech students still do not contain or be a suprise, klimaks, repetition, and sense of humor. The use of words on the student still has not been effective. This is due to still have a mistake in the form of precision, scouting, xonnect in parallel, frugality, logically, and the agreement.   Keywords: Writing, The text of speech

Abstract

AbstractThis researcher was conducted with a descriptive research method using a quantitative approach. The results of the research and discussion, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) The level of emotional intelligence of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency is generally included in the medium category with a percentage of 59.52%. 2) Learning outcomes of PPKn students of X high school Negeri 1 in general is included in the medium category with a percentage of 71.43% 3) There is no significant influence of emotional intelligence on student learning outcomes in class X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. This is seen from the results of the analysis using a regression test proving that the regression equation obtained Y = 87.818 + 0.02X. From the significant test results obtained a significant value of 0.985 where a significant value of 0.05 (0.985 0.05), then accepted. So it can be concluded that there is no significant influence of emotional intelligence on learning outcomes. It is recommended for PPKn teachers to try to improve in the students they teach about positive emotional intelligence. This can be pursued through the growth in each student regarding recognizing emotions, managing emotions, motivating oneself, empathy and being able to foster relationships (social skills). Keyword : Emotional Intelligence, Learning Outcomes, High School Students

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS menggunakan make a match di kelas V SDN 34 Pontianak Kota. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VC yang berjumlah 34 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus dengan hasil yang diperoleh dari kemampuan guru merencanakan pembelajaran di siklus I yaitu 4,43, siklus II 4,83, dan siklus III 4,88. Pada kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran di siklus I yaitu 3,96 , siklus II 4,31 dan siklus III 4,62. Persentase aktivitas belajar siswa di siklus I yaitu 55,30 %, siklus II 82,38 %, dan siklus III 86,61 % yang mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah 27,08 %, dan siklus II ke siklus III adalah 4,23 %. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa menggunakan make a match dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas V SDN 34 Pontianak Kota. Kata kunci: Aktivitas Belajar, Pembelajaran IPS, Make A Match   Abstract: The purpose of this research is describe the increased activity of students in social studies learning to use make a match in class V SDN 34 Pontianak City. The method used is descriptive method with research subjects are students of class VC totaling 34 people. This research was conducted as many as three cycles with the results obtained from the ability of teachers to plan learning in the first cycle that 4.43, 4.83 second cycle and the third cycle of 4.88. On the ability of teachers to implement teaching in the first cycle that 3.96, 4.31 second cycle and third cycle 4.62. The percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle, namely 55.30%, 82.38% second cycle and third cycle of 86.61% which increased from the first cycle to the second cycle was 27.08%, and the second cycle to the third cycle is 4 , 23%. It can be concluded that the use make a match can increase the activity of students in learning social studies in class V SDN 34 Pontianak City.   Keywords: Learning Activities, Social Learning , Make A Match
