Abstract

Data untuk penelitian ini diperoleh dari Kecamatan Paloh, Sajingan, Subah dan Teluk Keramat Kabupaten Sambas dan dari Kecamatan Entikong, Sekayam, Beduai dan Kembayan Kabupaten Sanggau. Teknik yang dipergunakan untuk pengambilan data adalah teknik survey. Alat pengumpul data terdiri atas format isian data untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai lulusan SD dan data mengenai lulusan SD yang melanjutkan ke SMP dan pedoman wawancara untuk menghimpun informasi yang bersifat kualitatif dari sumber data seperti Kepala Dinas dan Kepala Cabang Dinas Pendidikan. Data diolah dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Masalah yang dikemukakan dalam penelitian ini adalah gambaran aksesibilitas dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam Pendidikan Dasar 9 Tahun berdasarkan angka transisi dan faktor-faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan Program Wajib Belajar 9 Tahun di daerah perbatasan di Kabupaten Sambas dan Sanggau. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) sebanyak 456 atau 18,38 % dari 2479 orang lulusan Sekolah Dasar dan/atau sederajat di 4 kecamatan daerah perbatasan di kabupaten Sambas pada tahun 2008/2009 tidak melanjutkan sekolah ke tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama dan/atau sederajat; (2) sebanyak 305 atau 17,93 % dari 1701 orang lulusan Sekolah Dasar dan/atau sederajat di 4 kecamatan daerah perbatasan di kabupaten Sanggau pada tahun 2008/2009 tidak melanjutkan sekolah ke tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama dan/atau sederajat; (3) faktor-faktor penghambat meliputi: sosial-budaya, ekonomi, geografi dan demografi. Abstract

Abstract        This research entitled learning skill of listening to students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap. The general problem of this research is "How to learn listening skills to the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap? The research method used in this research use qualitative research type with descriptive method. While the data collection tools used are observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study can conclude. Planning on learning listening in SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap has been good in preparing the RPP in accordance with the curriculum 2013, where teachers plan learning listening learning is prepared using a scientific approach, in scientific approach consists of activities Observing, questioning, exploring, associating and communicating, in learning planning, teachers use learning strategies to convey learning listening in the form of role play strategy and using learning media in the form of video about learning listening.        Keywords: Learning Skills Listening, Grade VIII Students

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian classroom action research atau penelitian tindakan kelasbertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dalam bernyanyi dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Konsep penelitian yang dilakukan dengan mengembangkan model pembelajaran talking stick yang telah dikembangkan dalam setiap siklus. Penelitian ini melalui proses tahapan 3 siklus yaitu siklus I, II yang memiliki pengembangan model talking stick yang berbeda dan siklus III sebagai pertemuan hasil. Setelah semua siklus dilaksanakan siswa tampak antusias dan bersemangat saat mengikuti pembelajaran. Hasil observasi pra silus kepercayaan diri siswa yang tinggi sebesar 18 %. Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran model talking stick kepercayaan diri siswa meningkat menjadi 84 %. Jadi peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam pembelajaran bernyanyi meningkat sebanyak 66 %. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan diri siswa terhadap pembelajaran bernyanyi meningkat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran talking stick.   Kata kunci: talking stick, kepercayaan diri, belajar bernyanyi.   Abstract: This research is a classroom action research or action research to increase self-confidencefor singing by using descriptive and qualitative approach. The concept of research conducted by the talking stick developing learning models that have been developed in each cycle. This research through 3 stages of the process cycle is the cycle I, II, which has a development model that is different from talking stick and the third cycle as the meeting proceeds. After all cycles carried out the students seemed enthusiastic and excited about learning when to follow. Results of observations pre silus high student self-confidence of 18%. Conclusion This study shows that the students' self-confidence in learning to sing increased using learning model talking stick.   Keywords: talking stick, self-self-confidence, learning to sing

Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to describe terminology in cerasa Melayu Sambas ceremony. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative research form. Sources of data in this study is a term spoken by native speakers of the village community Arung Parak. The data in this study are the words that contain the terms in the ceremony between Ajong Melayu Sambas. The technique used in this research is the technique of simak and capability which has basic technique in the form of fishing to informant who is native speaker. Based on the results of existing data analysis, it can be concluded that there are  25 terminology in inter ajong ceremony of sambas in the form of tool, 22 terminology in ceremony between ajong Melayu sambas in the form of materials, 9 terminology between ajong Melayu sambas form process, 8 terminology in ceremony of inter ajong Melayu sambas in the form of time, 4 terminology in ceremony between ajong Melayu sambas in the form of person who perform, and 4 terminations in ceremony between ajong Melayu sambas in the form of ritual place, there are 72 lexical meaning, and there are 51 cultural meanings.Keywords: Terminology, Inter-Ajong Ceremony, Meaning

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is the lack of writing skill, the minimum of understanding about writing and the low of students learning results. And what is more, the students  got lack of experience and knowledge in writing official letter.  Furthemore, to improve the skill in writing official letter to VIII B Grade Students of SMP Negeri 1 Selimbau, the researcher used the inquiry method. This research is Class Action Research  which is coundected in two cycles. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative.  The result of students learning before conducting Class Action Research is in average of 58,70. Afterwards, the result of students learning in cycle I is in average of 64,52. Furthermore, the score in cycle II is increased in average of 71,04. Then, it can be concluded that this classroom action research using inquiry method had improved students’ writing skill in writing official letter. Keywords: Writing Skill, Official Letter, Inquiry Method

Abstract

AbstractProverb research aims to inventory, classifying the type, form, function and meaning using the study of semantics. This research is the study of Linguistics or linguistic. The results of this research can contribute and are expected to add insight in linguistic contexts. The study of proverbs is a semantic study Keninjal Dayak in methods of descriptive and qualitative form. The approach used in this study is the semantic approach. The source of the data in this study are the Dayak languages Keninjal. The technique of determining the source of the data used is the purposive sampling. The data in the study totaled 165 proverb research data collection technique is the technique of fishing rods, interview techniques, recording Techniques. Types Ferox Keninjal Proverb is the adage, parable, perbilangan, slogan, thimble and expression. Types Ferox Keninjal proverb of the most prominent is the parable. Dayak proverb Keninjal shaped phrases divided into phrases endosentris, eksosentrik phrase, noun phrases, verbal phrases, phrases, idiomatic phrase phrase adjektifa konotatif. There is also a proverb shaped sentences consist of complete sentences, elliptical sentences sentences sideline, and minor sentences. The function of proverbs Keninjal Dayak is to advise, quips, rebuke and to declare certain circumstances. The meaning of the proverb Dayak Keninjal consists of grammatical meaning, in denotative, konotatif, conceptual, idiomatic full, partial and idiomatic meanings of proverbs.        Keywords: Proverbs, Inventory, Type, Form, Function, Meaning

Abstract

AbstractSpeaking is one of the skills taught in Indonesian language subjects in schools. A teacher must be able to determine the right strategy or learning method to improve learning outcomes. One of the methods that could be applied is brainstorming. The use of brainstorming method in the learning process could foster students’ enthusiasm and interest in learning. The students were required to actively seek and find the learning by identifying, collecting the data, testing the validity of data, and concluding the data. The method used in this research was descriptive method with qualitative research form which the data obtained in the form of numbers that would be described. The type of research was classroom action research which had been done in two cycles. The subject of the research was Indonesian language teacher and the students of class IX AP that contained 22 students. The result of the data analysis before the method was implemented was 69.54. In the Cycle 1, the improvement of students’speaking skill after using brainstorming method was 76.36. In the Cycle 2, the students’ score increased into 79.54. As a conclusion, the students’ speaking skill from cycle to cycle was improved significantly by implementing brainstorming method.   Keywords: Speaking skills, Negotiating, Brain-storming Methods

Abstract

AbstractThis research is titled The Connotative Meaning and Languange Style In The Song’s Lyrics Album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata By Coffternoon. Generally this research aims to describe meaning based connotative taste value as well as usage variety of language styles contained in the album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon. Method used in this research is descriptive method according to the problem under study with qualitative research forms. The source of the data is 10 from 11 songs in the album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon, and the data is words and phrases in which there is connotative meanings and various styles of language. The main technique used in this research is a documentary study technique, transcription technique, and data analysis technique. Based on these conclusions, kind of connotative meaning the most widely used contained in album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon is a type good connotation meaning which amounts to 54, and the most dominant variety of language styles in album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon is variety of comparative language styles which amounts to 80. Keywords: Album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata, Connotative Meaning, Languange Style

Abstract

Abstrak : Judul penelitian adalah Proses Morfofonemik Bahasa Dayak Suhaid. Penelitian ini secara umum untuk pendeskripsian Masalah Umum Proses Morfonfonomik Kata dalam BDS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif sumber data yaitu cerita rakyat Bahasa Dayak Suhaid yang telah dituturkan oleh informan ditranskipkan kedalam bentuk tertulis. Penelitian ini menggunakan tekhnik pengamatan langsung, yaitu tekhnik pancing, wawancara dan studi documenter. Alat pengumpulan data yaitu daftar pertanyaan, instrument, gambar, cerita rakyak dan catatan khusus. Adapun kesimpulan penelitian sebagai berikut. 1) mendiskripsikan proses perubahan fonem Bahasa Dayak Suhaid. 2) mendeskripsikan proses penambahan fonem Bahasa Dayak Suhaid. 3) mendiskripsikan proses penghilangan fonem Bahasa Dayak Suhaid. Perubahan fonem terjadi sebagai akibat pertemuan morfem  N- dan meN- peN- dengan bentuk dasar yang memiliki fonem /p,b,t,d,c,s,k,g dan vocal/. Penambahan fonem terjadi sebagai akibat pertemuan morfem N- dan meN-peN dengan bentuk dasar yang terdiri dari suku kata dengan bentuk dasar yang memiliki fonem /g,k,b,c,r, dan l/. Penghilangan fonem terjadi sebagai akibat pertemuan morfem N- dan meN-peN dengan bentuk dasar berawalan /l,h,dan w/. Kata kunci : Fonem, Morfem, Proses Morfofonemik. Abstract: The title of this research is the Dayak language Suhaid morphophonemic process. This study is generally to delineate Common Problems in the BDS process Morfonfonomik word. This research uses descriptive method, in the form of qualitative data sources are folklore Suhaid Dayak language that has been spoken by the informant ditranskipkan into written form. This study uses a technique of direct observation, namely fishing techniques, interviews and documentary studies.Data collection tool is a list of questions, instruments, images, stories rakyak and special notes. The conclusion of the study as follows. 1) describe the process of change in the Dayak language phoneme Suhaid. 2) describe the process of adding phoneme Suhaid Dayak language. 3) describe the removal process phonemes Suhaid Dayak language. Phoneme changes occur as a result of morpheme meeting N- and Men- Pen- with basic shapes which have a phoneme / p, b, t, d, c, s, k, g and vocal /. The addition of phonemes occur as a result of the meeting and the morpheme N-Pen Men with basic shape consisting of a syllable with a basic shape that has the phoneme / g, k, b, c, r, and l /. Phoneme disappearance occurred as a result of the meeting and the morpheme N-Pen Men with basic forms of the / l, h, and w /. Keywords: phoneme, morpheme, The Process morphophonemic.

Abstract

  Abstrak: Peneliti memfokuskan penelitian mengenai peristilahan dalam ne’baruakng kulub cerita rakyat Kanayatn Mampawah di Desa Pahokng Kecamatan Mempawah Hulu melalui pendekatan etnolinguistik. Masalah dalam penelitian ini mencakup pengklasifikasian, pemaknaan leksikal dan pemaknaan kultural. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriftif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan Bahasa Kanayatn Mampawah (BKM) yang dituturkan oleh penutur asli masyarakat Desa Pahokng Kecamatan Mempawah Hulu. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata-kata yang mengandung peristilahan dalam nebaruakng kulub ceita rakyat Kanyatan Mampawah di Desa Pahokng Kecamatan Mempawah Hulu berupa tokoh, tempat, makanan tradisional, permainan tradisional, flora, fauna dan peralatan. Pengambilan data ini menggunakan  simak libat cakap dan teknik rekam catat dengan menggunakan alat pengumpul data, yaitu alat perekam, dan buku catatan. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu bertanya jawab dengan mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan, mencatat dan merekam pengucapan narasumber, mentranskripsikan, serta mengklasifikasikan. Peristilahan yang terdapat pada penelitian ini yang berupa tokoh 40 klasifikasi, tempat 9 klasifikasi, makanan tradisional 4 klasifikasi, permainan tradisional 1 klasifikasi, flora 26 klasifikasi, fauna 15 klasifikasi, dan perlatan 8 klasifikasi. Kata Kunci: Peristilahan Ne’Baruakng Kulub, Cerita Rakyat, Kanayatn Mampawah, Etnolinguistik.     Abstract: Researcher focused on Terminology in Ne'baruakng Kulub Folklore Kanayatn Mampawah in Pahokng Village of Mempawah Hulu subdistrict: entholinguistic approach. The problems of this research are classification, lexical meaning and cultural meaning. 1This research used descriptive method with a qualitative research. Sources of data is a language speech of Kanayatn Mampawah (BKM) spoken by native speakers of people Pahokng village of Mempawah Hulu. The data in this research is the words that contain terminology in Ne’ Baruakng Kulub folklore Kanayatn Mampawah in Pahokng village of Mempawah Hulu subdistrict in the form of figures, places, traditional food, traditional games, flora, fauna and equipment. This data use engaged consider ably and log record  technique using the data collection tool, namely a tape recorder and notebook. Data collection tool used in this research that the questioner by asking questions, take notes and record the conversation by of sources, transcribe, and classify. The terminology in this research are the form of figures 40 classification, place 9 classification, traditional food 4 classification, traditional games 1 classification, flora 26 classification, fauna 15 classification, and equipment 8 classification.
