Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effectiveness used of the teams games tournamenttype of cooperative learning model on arithmetic sequence and sequence material in the 11thgradeSMKN 1 Pontianak. The research method was experiment and the form of was pre-experimental design with one shot case study.30 students of 11th AK 4SMKN 1 Pontianak were taken as the research samples.Indicators used to determine the effectiveness of learning using the teams games tournament type of cooperative learning modelare : student?s learning activity, student?s learning outcomes, and student?s responses. Data collectiontechniques usedare documentation techniques, measurement techniques, observation techniques, and indirect communication techniques. The data collectiontoolsare,the student?s learning activity observation sheet, the student?s learning outcomes test and student?s responses questionnaire. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to synthesis the natural indicator paper, determine the range of pH and its feasibility. Synthesis natural indicator paper from turmeric extract (Curcuma domestica), hibiscus flowers extract (Hibiscus rosasinensis), adam hawa extract (Rhoeo discolor), asoka flowers extract (Saraca indica), determine the range of pH and its feasibility. The extract synthesis in paper form and be used as practical tool to replace litmus paper in determining acid-base characteristics of solution. This research was using  qualitative method. This research was conducted in two stages, which were the synthesis of indicator paper and determine the range of pH and feasibility. Data collection techniques were carried out by  using observation sheets to testing acid-base indicator paper from plant extracts and questionnaires for testing the feasibility of indicator paper by several teachers of the Junior High School in Tebas. The results showed that the range of pH and its colour change of hibiscus flowers, adam hawa, asoka flowers and turmeric were respectively, 4-10 (red-green), 6-8 (red-green), 4-10 (red-green), 9-10 (yellow-brownish red). The results of the feasibility of indicator paper obtained at 97.04%. It can be concluded that acid-base indicator paper from natural resource can be used as a science learning practice tool in the Junior High School in Tebas, West Kalimantan Province. Keywords: Feasibility, Natural Indicator, Range pH

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimanakah penanganan terhadap peserta didik kelas VIII yang mengalami penolakan sosial di SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subyek kasus pada penelitian ini adalah dua orang peserta didik kelas VIII yang mengalami penolakan sosial di SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak. Alternatif bantuan yang diberikan kepada subyek kasus 1 yaitu model konseling Rational Emotif Behavioral Therapy (REBT), sedangkan alternatif bantuan yang diberikan kepada subyek kasus 2 yaitu model konseling Behavioral Therapy dengan teknik pembentukan (Shaping, pembuatan Kontrak (Contingency Contracting, terapi Aversi (Covert Sensitization), Secondary reinforcer atau conditioned reinforcer dan contingency reinforcement. Kata kunci : Studi Kasus, Penolakan Sosial   Abstract:  This study aims to reveal how the handling of class VIII students who experience social rejection in SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method with case study form. The subject of the case in this study are two class VIII students who experience social rejection in SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak. Alternative help given to the subject of the case 1 is a model of counseling Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), whereas alternative assistance given to the subject of the case 2 is a model of counseling Behavioral Therapy with formation technique (Shaping, manufacture Contracts (Contingency Contracting, aversion therapy (Covert sensitization), Secondary reinforcer or conditioned reinforcer and reinforcement contingency. Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses the evaluation of circulation services in the Office of Archives and Regional Library of Kubu Raya. This research is motivated by the lack of utilization of circulation services. This has an impact on the satisfaction of librarians in searching for information. The purpose of this study is to describe the evaluation of circulation services and find out the services applied to the Office of Archives and the Regional Library of Kubu Raya Regency. In this thesis, I?am using qualitative methods in a descriptive form. The way I collect data is through interviews, observations, and documentation conducted with 4 (four) informants. The results of this study explain that the stages of input, the stage of the process, and the stage of the output in the evaluation of circulation services, have met the needs of librarians and have been implemented well. But the satisfaction of the librarians must really be considered to improve the image of library services. The results of the evaluation of circulation services indicate the level of satisfaction of users of the services provided by librarians and managers, at the Archives Service and the Regional Library of Kubu Raya Regency.Keywords: Circulation Services, Libraries, Service Evaluation

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya temuan dimana anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Pelangi Sebadu Kabupaten Landak mudah menyanyikan lagu-lagu dewasa dimana kosakata lagu tidak sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia dini, sehinga peneliti berkeinginan mengenalkan lagu-lagu nasional pada anak yang sebelumnya belum pernah dinyanyikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan bernyanyi lagu-lagu nasional melalui metode demonstrasi pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Pelangi Sebadu Kabupaten Landak. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas melalui metode demonstrasi. Subjek penelitian satu guru dan anak usia 4-5 tahun yang berjumlah 15 orang. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat persentase aktivitas peningkatan kemampuan anak menghafal kosakata lagu nasional sebesar 73,33% dan kemampuan anak menyanyikan kembali lagu-lagu nasional yang telah diajarkan guru sebesar 60%. Kedua indikator tersebut menunjukkan kriteria baik karena memiliki rata-rata 66,66%. Kata Kunci: lagu-lagu nasional, metode demonstrasi, kemampuan bernyanyi. Abstract: This research is motivated their findings where children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Rainbow Sebadu Porcupine District easily sing adult songs where vocabulary song does not match the characteristics of early childhood, so that the researcher wishes to introduce national songs in a child who has never sung. This study aimed to describe the increase in the ability to sing national songs through demonstration method in children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Rainbow Sebadu Porcupine District. Forms of this research is classroom action research through demonstration method. The research subject of the teachers and children aged 4-5 years who totaled 15 people. The results of data analysis showed that the highest percentage increase in the activity of a child's ability to memorize vocabulary of the national anthem by 73.33% and the ability of children to sing national songs back who has taught teachers by 60%. Both indicators showed good criterion because it has an average of 66.66%. Keywords: national songs, method demonstrations, singing ability.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuri terbimbing berbantuan animasi flash dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi perpindahan kalor di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Bentuk penelitian ini yaitu pre experimental design dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI IPA 5 berjumlah 40 siswa yang dipilih secara random sampling dengan teknik intact group. Alat pengumpul data berupa 7 soal dalam bentuk multiple choice dengan reasoning terbuka. Rata-rata persentase jumlah miskonsepsi siswa sebelum remediasi sebesar 83,33% dan sesudah remediasi sebesar 41,11%. Berdasarkan uji McNemar, besar perubahan konsepsi siswa diperoleh χ2hitung (11,36) ˃ χ2tabel (3,841) untuk dk = 1 dan α = 5%, maka terjadi perubahan konsepsi siswa yang signifikan setelah diberikan remediasi. Nilai Cohen’s d effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 1,76 tergolong tinggi, maka model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan animasi flash efektif dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa.   Kata Kunci: Remediasi, Miskonsepsi, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Animasi Flash,  Perpindahan Kalor Abstrack: The aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning model using assisted by flash animation in remedied students’ misconceptions about heat transfer subject of class X in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The form of this research is pre-experimental by one-group pretest-post test design. The sample of this research is 40 students in XI IPA 5 class which are chosen by random sampling in technic of intact group. The tool for collecting the data is 7 questions in form of multiple choice with the opened reasioning. The mean percentage of students misconceptions before remediation by 83.33% and amounted to 41.11% after remediation. Based on McNemar test, the change of students’ conseptions was obtained  χ2hitung (11,36) ˃ χ2tabel (3,841) for dk = 1 and α = 5%, then there is a significant change in the students conceptions after they were given remediation. The Cohen's d effect size value is 1.76 and categorized as high, then guided inquiry learning model assisted by flash animation effective in remedied students’ misconceptions. Abstract

Abstract This research focuses on teacher performance that is related with teacher innovation and their characteristics, in terms of gender, educational background, and work experience. Teacher innovation is focused on: (a) associating skills, (b) questioning, (c) observing, (d) experimenting, and (e) networking. The purpose was to determine how the influence of teacher innovation and its characteristics on the performance of Junior High School (SMPN) teachers in Bengkayang. This research uses quantitative research methods with the use of a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The subjects were 144 teachers with characteristics as permanent school teachers, two years experience, and a bachelor?s degree (S1). They were taken based on the distribution of sub-arrays and took 6 teachers in each school. Based on data analysis, the results are: (1) Teacher innovation influences the performance of SMPN teachers in Bengkayang; (2) Teacher characteristics in terms of gender, educational background, and work experience have an influence on the performance of SMPN teachers in Bengkayang; and (3) Teacher innovation and teacher characteristics in terms of gender, educational background, and work experience have a simultaneous influence on the performance of SMPN teachers in Bengkayang. The conclusion of this study is the level of teacher innovation and its characteristics in terms of gender, educational background, and work experience simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of of SMPN teachers in Bengkayang by 62.50%, while the other 37.50% is influenced by other variables. Suggestions in this study are: (1) For teachers, they should maintain and improve its performance which is generally good; (2) Teachers should continue to improve their innovative power through a lot of reading, attending training activities or seminars, and enriching themselves through supporting information on self-innovation; (3) For the Department of Education, should improve programs that can increase teacher motivation. Some suggested programs such as in the fields of technology, scientific work, the development of new teaching methods based on local wealth, and so on; and (4) It is recommended for other researchers to examine from different perspectives and methods, so that they can see more clearly, in depth, and detail for other variables. Keywords: Characteristic, Innovation, Teachers? Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendesripsikan perkembangan karakteristik tes diagnostik dalam skripsi-skripsi mahasiswa pendidikan fisika FKIP Untan tahun 2012-2015 khususnya pada materi mekanika pasca penelitian Mahmuda (2011). Sebanyak sebelas skripsi dipilih secara acak dan proporsional mewakili materi beberapa cabang mekanika yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Lembar observasi berisi tujuan tes, tingkat validitas dan reliabilitas, bentuk kesalahan yang digali, konsepsi awal yang dijadikan dasar dalam pembuatan tes, tingkat kesukaran soal dan tingkat keterbacaan soal sebagai alat pengumpul data. Ditemukan tingkat validitas rata-rata sebesar 3,96 dan tingkat reliabilitas tes rata-rata sebesar 0,50. Tes diagnostik dirancang khusus untuk menggali kesalahan umum yang dialami siswa berupa keliru memahami konsep dan keliru memahami hubungan antar konsep dengan tingkat kesukaran rata-rata soal sebesar 0,37 dan tingkat keterbacaan soal rata-rata sebesar 4,58 (cocok diberikan pada peserta tes dari jenjang SMP). Kualitas karakteristik tes diagnostik tidak dipengaruhi oleh IPK dan Gender. Tes diagnostik yang digunakan dalam skripsi-skripsi mahasiswa pendidikan fisika FKIP Untan pada materi mekanika tidak mengalami peningkatan. Sejak hasil penelitian Mahmuda (2011) diproses, rata-rata hanya memenuhi tiga dari enam karakteristik yang ada. Oleh karena itu, sebelum perangkat soal digunakan lagi untuk keperluan lainnya, disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian pengembangan tes diagnostik terlebih dahulu agar diperoleh tes diagnostik yang memenuhi syarat tes diagnostik yang baik. Kata Kunci: Karakteristik Tes Diagnostik, Tingkat Validitas, Tingkat Reliabilitas, Tingkat Kesukaran, Tingkat Keterbacaan, IPK, Gender.  Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the development of diagnostic test characteristic in students?s thesis of physic education FKIP Tanjungpura University in years 2012-2015, especially in mechanics material after Mahmuda?s researched (2011). There are eleven theses chosen  randomly and proportional take the material in some kind of mechanics that to be sample. Observation sheet contains the purpose of test, validity index and reliability index, the mistake discovered, the first construct become base on test making, the difficulty index exercise and readability index as collected data. The result of analysis data showed the average of validity index is 3,96 (high) and average reliability index is 0,50 (moderate). Diagnostic test is designed for discovered common mistake that through by student is miss understanding concept and miss relation in average of difficulty index exercise is 0,37 (moderate) and readability index is  4,58 ( it suitable gave to participant test in junior high school level). The quality of characteristic diagnostic test is not influenced by IPK and gender. Based on of result analysis diagnostic test, that diagnostic test is used in student?s thesis of physic education FKIP Untan to mechanic material can be said no changing, because the average only fill three of six characteristics diagnostic test that available. Therefore, before the device is about to use again for other purposes, it is advisable to carry out research on the development of diagnostic tests in advance in order to obtain a diagnostic test that qualifies a good diagnostic test. Keywords:  Characteristics Diagnostic Tests, Validity Index, Reliability Index, Difficulty Index, Readability Index, GPA, Gender.

Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran talking stick terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi di kelas X MAN 1 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasy experiment). sumber data penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IIS 1 dan kelas X IIS 2 berjumlah 76 siswa tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar ekonomi kelas eksperimen mendapat nilai rata-rata 80,62 dan hasil belajar ekonomi kelas kontrol mendapat nilai rata-rata 76,43. Terdapat perbedaan yang positif dan signifikan antara hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi yang diajar dengan model talking stick dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, di mana nilai kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan nilai kelas kontrol di kelas X IIS MAN 1 Pontianak. Sedangkan effect size nya tergolong tinggi adalah sebesar 0,48.   Kata kunci : Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick dan Hasil Belajar Abstract: This research aims to recognize the effectiveness of talking stick teaching method on learning result in economics subject study of tenth grade in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 . The method of this research is experiment in a from quasy experiment. The source of data of this research are 76 students which consist of X IIS 1 students and X IIS 2 students of academic year 2015/2016. The result of data analysis shows that learning result of economics subject study in experiment class achieved 80,62 of average score and 76,43 of its controlled class. There is a positive and significant difference between learning result of economics subject study which is taught by using talking stick method and conventional way of teaching in which experiment class score is better than the controlled class one. Furthermore, the effect size score is in high category which is 0,48.   Keywords : Talking Stick Teaching Method and Learning Result

Abstract

AbstractThe problems discussed in this research is how to improve learning activities dribble with plastic balls on the fifth grade students of SDN 26 Nanga Pinoh Melawi. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcome dribbling skills with a plastic ball on the class V students of SDN 26 Nanga Pinoh Melawi. This research uses research "Classroom Action Research" (Classroom Action Research) with variables: Increased dribble with plastic balls. Subjects in this study were fifth grade students of State Elementary School 26 Nanga Pinoh Melawi totaling 28 students, This research technique using test and measurement, a test with a grating instrument measuring learning outcomes dribbling skills. Analysis of data using percentages. These results indicate there is an increase in learning activities dribble with plastic balls on the fifth grade students of SDN 26 Nanga Pinoh Melawi. This is evidenced by the increased skills lead the game of football is pretty good, that in the first cycle with an average value of 74.31 so the increase of 8.45%. while the average value on the second cycle is 83.10, so the increase of 21.28%. Keywords: Modification, instructional media, learning outcomes, dribble.
