Abstract

 Abstract This research aims at learning and  the relationship of educational equipment on economic learning achievement, the relationship of learning Motivations on Economic learning achievement, and overall relationship on the learning achievement of  Economic students of grade XIthSocial senior High School Bengkayang.This Research was carried out in the classroom of Senior High School  XIthsocial grade   State Senior High School Bengkayang, 2014/2015 academic  year, applying descriptive method with a quantitative  approach where the population of this research covering all students of state senior high school grade XI thSocial, Bengkayang Regency ( 98 students) of 2014/2015 academic year taking only 72 students as samples. The results of research are shown as follows:There is a positive and significant Relationship of education equipment  on Economic students achievement, with a coefficient correlation of 0.719 meaning that it has a high interpretation and Keywords : Education Equipment, Learning Motivations, and  Learning Achievement of Economic Students

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media booklet CHERLYS dengan pendekatan konstruktivistik terhadap hasil belajar dan respon siswa SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak pada materi hidrolisis garam.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA3 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA4 kelas eksperimen. penggumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan angket respon. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji U-Mann Whitney menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas eksperimen yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan media booklet CHERLYS dengan pendekatan kontruktivistik. Berdasarkan perhitungan effect size diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh media booklet CHERLYS terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 35,54%. Respon siswa terhadap media booklet CHERLYS dengan pendekatan konstruktivistik diperoleh rata-rata tingkat persetujuan sebesar 90,91% yang tergolong sangat kuat.   Kata Kunci : Media Booklet, Konstruktivistik, Hasil Belajar   Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of contructivist approach of CHERLYS booklet media towards learning outcome and response of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak students on salt hydrolysis material. The research method was quasi-experimental and the research design was nonequivalent control group design. The study sample were the students of XI grade of IPA3 as control class and XI grade of IPA4 as experimental class. Data were collected by using learning outcome test and response questionnaire. The result of data analysis using U-Mann Whitney test showed the differences of learning outcome between students of control class and students of experimental class that were taught by using constructivist approach of CHERLYS booklet media. Based on calculation of effect size showed there were significant effect of CHERLYS booklet media to increase learning outcome around 35,54%. Student’s response towards constructivist approach of CHERLYS booklet media obtained a strong average rate of approval around 90,91%.   Keyword : booklet media, constructivist, the learning outcome

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is the researcher's awareness to improve the students' solfeggio ability at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap in a choir.The school choir of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap is always enthusiastic at participating in some events of Kuburaya district. The problem of this research is how the planning and the implementation which is done can improve the solfeggio ability. The purpose of this research is to improve the students' solfeggio ability through the choir extracurricular activity.The research method that is used in this research was classroom action research in the form of qualitative research. The assessment technique that is used was obtained through performance assessment.The indicator achievement was if there are more than sixteen (16) students got B (51-75) in the third cycle.The research result showed that the student's solfeggio ability at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap was improving through the choir extracurricular activity. The planning and the implementation was applied by assessing the result from the previous cycles. Keywords: ability, solfeggio, extracurricular, choir

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to find out the effectiveness of teaching vocabulary by using photos. Based on the researcher observation in SMP Negeri 3 Simpang Hilir, most of students have problems in developing their vocabulary. In this case, needs to motivate students and develop thier enthusiam to learn English and creats a new atmosphere in the classroom bu using suitable technique to increase their vocabulary. The research hypothesis was whether the effective of the treatment was low, moderate, and high. The research method is pre-expremental, involving a group sample of class VIII A numbering 31 students. The data ware collected by multiple choice test. The data were analyzed by Effect Size Formula. The finding showedthat the students’ score of pre-test is 606 and after  the treatment, the students’ score of post-test is 198. Therefore, the finding also showed that the score of effect size (ESvalue = 0,93 ishigher than the effect size (EStable = 0,8) of the treatment was categoried as “high”. In conclusion in this experement of teaching vocabulary using photos is effective tolead students feel more interesting and enjoy studying English. Keywords: vocabulary, wild animals, using photos Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengajaran kosakata dengan menggunakan foto. Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti di SMP Negeri 3 Simpang Hilir, sebagian besar siswa memiliki masalah dalam mengembangkan kosakata mereka. Dalam hal ini, dirasakan perlu untuk memotivasi siswa dan mengembangkan antusiasme mereka untuk belajar bahasa Inggris dan menciptakan suasana baru di kelas menggunakan teknik yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan kosa kata mereka. Hipotesis penelitian adalah apakah efektivitas treatment itu rendah, sedang, atau tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pra-expremental, yang melibatkan sampel kelompok kelas VIII A berjumlah 31 siswa. Data dikumpulkan lewat beberapa tes pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis dengan Effect Size Formula. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa skor siswa saat pre-test adalah 606 dan setelah treatment, skor siswa saat post-test adalah 198. Oleh karena itu, temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai besarnya efek ESvalue = 0,93 lebih besar dari besaran efek EStable = 0,8. Maka treatment ini dikategorikan sebagai "tinggi". Kesimpulan dari eksperimen ini yaitu pengajaran kosakata menggunakan foto tergolong efektif dalam membuat siswa merasa lebih tertarik dan menikmati belajar bahasa Inggris. Abstract

Abstract This research generally aimd to reveal the relationship of learning leadership and emotional intelligence principals and achievement motivation Junior High School teacher in Subrayon XI Sebawi Sambas District. This study used a quantitative approach. The data used was quantitative data. Population as well as a sample in this study amounted to 77 teachers. Data were collected using a questionnaire with measurement models using Likert scale. The collected data was tabulated. Then analyzed with the help of a computer application program, SPSS version 16 for Window. Data analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The initial step in testing the hypothesis, that the test requirements regression analysis (test for normality and linearity test). After the test analysis requirements are met, then that hypothesis testing. The analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. To determine the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable was jointly used by test F. The results showed that 1) the relationship of learning leadership principals (X1) and achievement motivation of teachers (Y) Beta (b1) of 0,334 = 33.40%, 2) the relationship of emotional intelligence principals (X2) and achievement motivation of teachers (Y) beta (b1) of 0.442 = 44.20%, 3) relationships principals instructional leadership (X1) and emotional intelligence principals (X2) and achievement motivation of teachers of 0.446 or 44.60%. The test results were shown in the output F ANOVA results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that F count> F table (45.4959> 3.115).The conclusion of this study as follows: 1) leadership learning Junior high school principal State in Subrayon XI Sebawi Sambas District quite good, 2) emotional intelligence principals SMP in Sub Rayon XI Sebawi Sambas District is high, 3) achievement motivation of teachers SMP in Sub Rayon XI Sebawi Sambas District classified satisfactory, 4) leadership learning school principals relate very significant achievement motivation of teachers SMP in Sub Rayon XI Sebawi Sambas District, of 0,334 = 33.40%,  Keywords:  Learning Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Principal, Teacher Achievement Motivation

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study is the curiosity of researchers about the various patterns of tahar wasp in Lubuk Dagang village, Sambas district. The problem in this study is how the various wasps patterns. The method in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative form of research. the approach used is the musicology approach. Data sources in the study are Abdan, Hammam Muhyi and Fadilah. The data in this study are the results of interviews, observations, documentation and notebooks about the various patterns of wasps. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This research data collection tool researchers as the main instrument. Checking the validity of the data uses triangulation and extension of observation. Data analysis techniques in this study are the analysis during data collection and analysis after data collection. The results of this study were six types of wasp patterns namely habban wasps, rabbut wasps, kuttong wasps, bujjor rhythmic beats, bujjor sion wasps and ribbu-ribbu wasps. This study describes each of the various wasp patterns. Each type of wasp pattern has a wasp motif in the form of literal repetition and uses 4/4 measure.        Keywords: Various Wasp Patterns, Tahar, Hadrah.

Abstract

AbstractSpesial aims this study was to analyze the effect of speed reading  on comprehension reading skills and to analyze how much influence the use of speed reading on comprehension reading skills in class V West Pontianak 56 Elementary School. Procedure this study uses an experimental method with Experimental Design type One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population was all fifth grade students of West Pontianak Public Elementary School 56 amunt to of 80 students, sampling a non-probability sampling technique with  of  simpel random sampling , namely all VB classes of 56 Pontianak West Elementary Schools, totaling 26 student. The technique used in data collection was technique the measurement with the data collection tool used was an essai  form written test. Based on data analysis obtained the results of the average student pre-test was  65 and the average post-test results of students was  74.23. After the t test was obtained the count is 14.359 while the table was 2.059, which means as t test  (14.359) > t table (2.059), then hypothesis alternative was accepted. Based on calculation of the effect size (ES) obtained result  0.5523. So, it can be concluded that there was influence of speed reading on comprehension reading skills of west pontianak 56 elementary schools.  Keywords:  Comprehension  Reading Skills,  Influence,  Speed Reading.

Email: endahworohapsari@rocketmail.com Abstract: The purpose of this research was to investigate the level of the effectiveness of team-pair-solo to teach reading comprehension of explanatory text to Year-X students of ?SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak? in Academic Year 2014/2015. This research was a pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. The population of this research were students of Year-X MIA. The samples of this research were Year-X MIA1. The technique of data collecting was measurement technique. The data were collected by applying pre-test and post-test through team-pair-solo to teach reading comprehension of explanatory text. The students score on pre-test and post-test was analyzed by using SPSS. The final computation shows that the effect size of the treatment was 0.904 (> 0.5) and considered very effective. It proves that the use of team-pair-solo was highly-effective to teach reading comprehension of explanatory text to Year-X MIA1 students. Key Words: Team-Pair-Solo, Reading Comprehension, Explanatory Text.   Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keefektifan pengunaan tehnik team-pair-solo dalam mengajarkan pemahaman membaca teks explanatory kepada siswa kelas X ?SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak? pada tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini adalah sebuah penelitian eksperimental dengan rancanggan satu grup pre-test dan post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswa kelas X ilmu alam. Sample penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X ilmu alam satu. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik pengukuran. Data-data diambil dengan menerapkan pre-test dan post-test melalui penggunaan teknik team-pair-solo dalam mengajarkan pemahaman membaca teks explanatory. Nilai siswa pada pre-test dan post-test kemudian dianalisa menggunakan SPSS. Perhitungan akhir menunjukkan bahwa effect size dari perlakuan adalah 0.904 (> 0.5) dan dikatakan sangat efektif. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa penerapan tecknik team-pair-solo sangat efektif untuk mengajar pemahaman membaca teks explanatory untuk siswa kelas X ilmu alam satu. Kata kunci: team-pair-solo, pemahaman membaca, teks explanatory.

Abstract

AbstractSMPN 6 Pontianak has recently implemented the 2013 Curriculum. This research discussed the planning, implementation, and evaluation in implementing the curriculum in the Indonesian language subject. This study aims to describe learning to write responses to fiction books based on the 2013 curriculum in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data sources in this study were teachers and students. The theory used as the reference in this study is the theory of Indonesian language learning based on the 2013 curriculum. Based on the findings, it was concluded that (1) the first and second lesson plans designed by the teacher were in accordance with the 2013 curriculum, (2) the implementation of learning fiction and nonfiction books conducted by teachers based on Teacher Ability Assessment Tool 2 (APKG 2) has been implemented well, and (3) assessment of the learning of fiction and nonfiction books conducted by the teacher is in accordance with the assessment provisions based on the 2013 curriculum. Keywords: Learning Instruction, Writing Responses, Fiction Books

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan  kewarganegaraan siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 54 Pontianak Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian quasi experiment design dan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 54 Pontianak Barat yang terdiri dari 43 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik pengukuran. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah tes dengan jenis tes tertulis dalam bentuk obyektif yang berjumlah 45 soal. Berdasarkan analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik parametris diperoleh hasil rata-rata post-test siswa 77,68. Berdasarkan analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh  = 2,2262 untuk dk = 41 dan  = 5% diperoleh  = 1,68335, yang berarti (2,2262) > (1,68335), maka Ha diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada penerapan model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di kelas IV SDN 54 Pontianak Barat.   Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning, Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran PKn Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the effect of using the model of problem based learning to the learning outcomes of civic education fourth grade students of State Elementary School 54 West Pontianak. The method used is experiment with the form of quasi experimental study design and study design nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study is is the entire fourth grade students of SDN 54 Pontianak West, consisted of 43 people. Techniques used in data collection is a measurement technique. Data collection tool used is a test with the type of written test in the form of objective totaling 45 questions. Based on data analysis using parametric statistical analysis techniques obtained average yield post-test student 77.68. Based on the analysis of hypothesis testing using t-test is obtained t_hitung = 2.2262 for df = 41 and α = 5% was obtained t_tabel = 1.68335, which means t_hitung (2.2262)> t_tabel (1.68335), so Ha is received. So we can conclude that there is an influence on the implementation of the model problem based learning to the learning outcomes of students in civic education (PKN) in the fourth grade SDN 54       Pontianak West.
