Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to improve students? reading comprehension by implementing KWL strategy to the eleventh grade students of SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. The writer conducted this project in order to solve the problems encountered in the classroom. Since it is to improve reading comprehension in learning process, the approriate technique that was applied in this research is a classroom action research. The participant of this research is the students in eleventh grade especially class XI IPA 1 of SMA Mujahidin Pontianak in Academic 2016/2017, which consists of 31 students. The data were collected by using observation method which are the achievement test, observation checklist  and field notes. There were three cycles of classroom action research process. At the first cycle, the students were still confused how to implemented KWL strategy, and many students could not fulfill the minimum score of achievement 76. At the second cycle, the students knew how to implement KWL strategy and the score was better than first cycle. And the third cycle, the students? score was better. The findings of this research indicate the students? reading comprehension mean score was 75.16, 91.62, and 99,03. Based on the result, KWL strategy can improve students? reading comprehension. Keywords : Reading Comprehension, KWL Strategy, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this research is to study (1) the perception of economics teacher of Senior High School in South Pontianak City about the Competency Standard of graduates of curriculum 2013. (2) perception of economics teacher of Senior High School in South Pontianak about standard of curriculum content of 2013. (3) South Pontianak City on Standard of Curriculum Process 2013. (4) Perception of Senior High School Economics teacher in South Pontianak City on Curriculum Values Standards 2013. This research uses descriptive methodology, in qualitative research. Respondents include economics subject teachers and Vice Head of Senior High School curriculum in South Pontianak, whose schools have applied the 2013 curriculum. The results of this research are: (1) teachers have positive responses on attitude and skill aspect become the standard of graduation because education should besides create smart students too (2) there is a change in the standard of content that incriminates the teacher is the change of Basic Competence, accounting material is charged in class 12, consequently teacher difficulty maximizing Basic Competence achievement, (3) The teacher understands the changes in the standards of the 2013 curriculum process that is in the lesson plan and the learning method, (4) the teacher understands the changes. The curriculum assessment standard 2013 is on attitude assessment only given by the teachers of religion and PPKn, and the assessment of knowledge is returned to scale 1-100. Keywords: Persepi, 2013 curriculum (SKL, Content Standards, Process Standards, Assessment Standards).

Abstract

Abstract The title of this research is Analysis of the implementation of Cooperative Learning model of type Teams Games Tournament on Sociology subject of class XI IIS 3 Mujahidin Pontianak.  theproblem in this research is how the application of Cooperative Learning model of type Teams Games Tournment on Sociology subject of class XI IIS 3 SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. The purpose of this study is the implementation  planning, impementation and evaluation after applying Cooperative model of type Teams Games Tournment on Sociology subject of class XI IIS 3 SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. This research approach is qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection techniques such as observation, techniques, interview guides and documentation. Based on the observations, the application of the TGT model has five steps : class presentation, group division, game and award for the group that get the highest score. In thi research, the teacher carries out all stages of the TGT model in Sociology Learning. Keyword : Model Of Learning Teams Games Tournament, Sociology.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research is to know the effect of team-assisted individualization model to mathematics learning result on fifth grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 36 Pontianak Selatan. The form of this reseacrh is quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Population of this reseacrh is 42 students and the sample of this research is 22 students of vlass VA as experiment class and 20 students of class VB as control class. To collect the data the reseacher used measuring technique which is eight of essay test. Based on research result, the mean of experiment class’s post test is 74,95, meanwhile control class’s mean is 66,3. The result of examination of hypothesis use separated varians obtained tcountisr 1,8374 and ttabel ( = 5% dan dk = 40)  is 1,684 which means  tcount (1,8374) > ttabel (1,684). It means there are effect team-assisted individualization model to mathematics learning result on fifth grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 36 Pontianak Selatan. From the counting effect size (ES) is  0,53  and the criteria is average. Keywords : effect, team-assited individualization model, learning result.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know the influence of Iindex card match method students’s learning outcome in learning Citizenship Education in class V of elementary school 28 Kubu Raya District,  this research used experimental method with Pre-Experimental Design research form one group pretest posttest design..The subject consisted of 20 in V grade.The technique of the data collection used was measurement technique.The data collection used was the form of  multiple choice  in the form of 50 questions. The result of the research was the average of post test result is 77,10. The result of t-test was 10,32 and ttable (α = 5% with db = 19) is 2.093 which means tcount (10.32)> ttable (2.093), so Ha was accepted. Conclusion there was the influence of Index Card Match method on student learning outcomes in grade V of elementary school 28 Kubu Raya Regency. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know and to describe learning problems of Dance subject at elementary school. The lack of teacher’s understanding and the lack of infrastructure become the inhibition of students’ creativity to acquire the materials of dance subject. That being said, this research objective is to describe the creative dance movement skill by applying Quantum Teaching approach on Grade IV at elementary school of 36 Sungai Ambawang. The research findings showed that the application of Quantum Teaching approach on creative dance movement on Grade IV at elementary school of 36 Sungai Ambawang succeeded, and it was matching well with the learning objectives. The results were observed when the students demonstrated creative dance movements. The students who previously were unenthusiastic became enthusiastic after they were placed in groups. Keywords: Influence, cooperative learning model of talking stick, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to know the concept understanding and student learning outcomes by applying a guided discovery learning model in fraction counting operating material in grade VII of junior high school 2 Sanggau Ledo. The method used in this study is a research method with a form of research that is pre-trial with a one-shot case study design. The aspects used in this study consist of understanding students' concepts and learning outcomes. Data calculation techniques use measurement techniques. The tool used consists of student worksheets and student learning outcomes tests. From the results of data analysis, the understanding of concepts in addition material and fractions of assessment is included in the high category and the completeness of student learning outcomes is not met in a classical manner. It was concluded that the guided discovery learning model could not be applied in fraction counting operation material in grade VII of junior high school 2 Sanggau Ledo. Keywords: The Application, Guided Discovery Learning Model, Fraction

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pembuatan media pembelajaran flipbook yang disajikan dari hasil inventarisasi tumbuhan obat dan untuk megetahui jenis tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat di  Desa Amboyo Inti Kecamatan Ngabang Kabupaten Landak. Untuk mengetahui kelayakannya sebagai media pembelajaran flipbook perlu divalidasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data triangulasi. Jumlah informan sebanyak 36 orang dengan karakteristik informan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, umur, pendidikan, dan pekerjaan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan hasil tumbuhan obat yang diperoleh sebanyak 79 spesies dalam 43 famili yang dipercayai dapat menyembuhkan 58 macam penyakit. Validasi media flipbook tumbuhan obat di Desa Amboyo Inti divalidasi oleh 5 orang validator dan dianalisis berdasarkan tiga aspek yaitu format, bahasa, dan isi dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata total validasi 3,77 pada submateri Manfaat Keanekaragaman Hayati. Kata kunci : invetarisasi, tumbuhan obat, Desa Amboyo Inti, flipbook Abstract: This thesis was intended to know the type of medical plants used by the people in the village of AmboyoIntiNgabang District of Procupine District. The results from this study were used for the creation of learning media flipbook. By showing flipbook to the students, it could help the students to know the type of plants used as medicine. Therefore, it was necessary to validate the flipbook to determine its feasibility as a learning tools. This research was a qualitative descriptive methods and the technique of data collection was triangulation. The sample of research were 36 people, categorized by sex, age, education, and employment. This research used descriptive analysis to analyze the data. It can be concluded the result of medical plants from 79 species in 43 families were accurate to cure 58 deseases. The validation of flipbook as media was assessed based on three aspects, such as: format, language, and content. The content was valid with the average of total score was 3,77 for The Benefits of Biodiversity Submaterial. Keywords: Inventory, Medical plants, Amboyo Inti village, Flipbook

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to determine the Analysis of Parent’s Motivation in Children’s  Education in Pampang Harapan Village, Sukadana District, North Kayong Regency. The method in this research was descriptive research study survey. The data source of this research was 8 parents who have children who are at school age, both elementary school, junior high school, senior high school, and college. The results of the research conducted show that, 1) The form of Parents' Attention to Children was measured by providing guidance categorized as very good (100%), whereas seen from giving rewards or prizes were categorized quite well (50%), 2) Providing Learning Facilities was categorized as good ( 75%), 3) Parental Supervision of Children in Supporting Children's Education, measured from monitoring children's academic development is categorized very well (87.5%), seen from supervising or accompanying children learning in the good enough category (62.5%) , whereas seen from the supervision of the association of children's activities can be categorized very well (87.5%). So, it can be concluded that Parents' Motivation in Children's Education in Pampang Harapan Village can be categorized as good (77.08%). Keywords: Children’s Educationn, Motivation, Parents

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini  bertujuan meningkatkan aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial menggunakan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw di kelas IV SDN 34 Simpang Hulu ketapang. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif, Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Sifat penelitian kualitatif.  Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 34 Simpang Hulu sejumlah 30 orang. Hasil  penelitian yang diperoleh  dimana aktivitas peserta didik saat mengikuti pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu aktivitas fisik pada siklus I 44,16% meningkat menjadi 75,82% pada siklus II, kenaikannya berarti sebesar 31,66%, aktivitas mental sebanyak 34,44% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 68,33% pada siklus II, kenaikannya berarti sebesar 33,89%, aktivitas emosional 61,10% pada siklus I,  meningkat menjadi 86,66% pada siklus II, berarti kenaikannya sebanyak 25,56%. Sedangkan rata-rata pada siklus I yang mencakup ketiga aktivitas  itu adalah sebesar 46,56%, meningkat menjadi 76,93% pada siklus II.   Kata Kunci: Aktivitas, Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Abstract: This research is aimed to increase the students activity in learning IPS using cooperative model jigsaw type on grade four of 34 elementary school simpang hulu ketapang. The method used is descriptive method, the research type is a classroom action research. The characteristic of the research is qualitative research. The subjects of the research are teacher and grade four students of 34 elementary school containing 30 students.The result of the research is the students activities in attending the learning got the significant increase that is physical activities on cycle I 44,16 % increase 75,82 % on cyle II, the rising is about 31,66 %  the mental activities is 34,44 % on cycle I increase to 68,33 % on cycle II, the rising is about 33,89 %, the emotional activities is 61,10 % on cycle I, increase to to 86,66% on cycle II, meant that the rising is about 25,56 %. However the average of cycle I containing the three activities is about 46,56%, increase to 76,93 % on cycle II.   The Keywords : Activities, Cooperative Jigsaw Type
