Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan hubungan antara disiplin, motivasi berprestasi, jumlah jam belajar perminggu dengan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 06 Pontianak Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas IVB sebanyak 23 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen angket dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik inferensial berupa uji korelasi sederhana dan korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara disiplin, motivasi berprestasi, dan jumlah jam belajar perminggu dengan hasil belajar. Kata kunci: disiplin, motivasi berprestasi, jumlah jam belajar perminggu, hasil belajar IPA Abstract: This study aimed to describe the correlation between discipline, achievement motivation, the number of study hours per week with sciences subject result of fourth grade students of State Elementary School 06 South Pontianak. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. This type of research is correlational study. This research was conducted in classes IVB for 23 students. The data collection is done by using questionnaires and achievement test. The technique of analysis data is inferential statistic to examine a simple correlation and multyple correlation. The result of the research shows that there are positive and significant correlation between discipline, achievement motivation, the number of study hours per week with the result of the science subject. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan peningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan (Ksp) di kelas XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak melalui model pembelajaran Prediction, Observation, Explanation. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak yang terdiri dari 24 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Prediction, Observation, Explanation dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 53,46% pada siklus I menjadi 66,65% pada siklus II. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan persentase ketuntasan dari 58,33% pada siklus I menjadi 82,61% pada siklus II.   Kata Kunci: POE, Aktivitas, Hasil  Belajar. Abstrack: This research aims to decide the improvement of the activity and result of students’ learning on solubility meterial and result of the times of solubility (Ksp) in XI IPA’s class in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak by using Prediction, Observation, Explanation learning model. The research method that used is a classroom action research. The subjects of this research was the students of XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak that consist of 24 students. The instruments used in this research was observation paper, the guide of interview and learning’s result test. The result of this research showed that the implementation of prediction, observation, explanation’s learning model can improve students’ learning activity by percentage of mastery about 53,46% in the first circle became 66,65% in the second circle. The result of students learning showed the improvement of mastery percentage from 58,33% in first circle became 82,61% in second circle. Keywords: POE, Activities, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

 AbstractThis research is an experimental study using pre-Experimental with One Group Posttest design which aims to find the effectiveness of Discovery Learning assisted by flannel board media on a straight-line equation in SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak. The population in this study was the students of grade VIII.The samples were taken from the students of class VIII F selected by using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection technique used the test, observation sheets and questionnaires. The test used is the achievement test. The test results of student learning that the percentage of classical mastery learning is 82% with a value  ≥75. Observation sheet is observed process and learning activities of students. Acquisition of learning process an average is 3.61 with very good category. Observation of student learning activities amounted to 88.68% with very good category. The student questionnaire responses is 78% with a positive category. It can be concluded that learning with Discovery Learning model assisted by flannel board media is effective.Keywords:   Effectiveness, Discovery Learning Model, Board Flannel Media, Straight                     Line Equation

Abstract

Abstract The method used is an experimental method to study the form of true experimental design. The population in this study is a class VIII as much as 8 classes. The samples in this study using purposive sampling technique, as many as 70 people were divided into class VIII dam D totaling 35 persons as a class control while class VIII G totaled 35 as the experimental class. Data was analyzed using computerized systems as well as analysis by using t-test Based on t-test results on the class dick and experimental value 0,000 p value <0.05 then Ho is rejected (Ha acceptable) means that there is a significant improvement between the before and after treatment, in which the mean value of the difference in the experimental class (28.2) greater than the control group (8.7). Abstract

Abstract This research is based by the use of technology in learning activities. Besides the conventional learning by using the whiteboard media that makes students less interest and decreased students motivation to participate in learning activities. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of using powtoon audiovisual media to improve students motivation on economic subjects in MA Mathla'ul Anwar Pontianak. The method used is experimental method with pre-experimental design with form is one-group pretest-posttest design. The subject of research is a class X IIS 3 MA Mathla'ul Anwar. The average pretest learning motivation outcomes of students  is 67,86 while the average posttest learning motivation outcames of students is 80,06. Based on the paired sample t test with significance level α = 5%, values ​​obtained Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) is 0.000. This shows that the use of audiovisual media powtoon learning is effective in improving students' motivation on economic subjects in MA Mathla'ul Anwar Pontianak. effect size results in learning motivation score is 1.08. It shows the effects of the use of audiovisual media powtoon learning to improve students' motivation is very high. Keywords: Audiovisual Powtoon Media, Learning Motivation, Economic Subject

Abstract

AbstractThis study was aimed to describe language learning strategies used by a third semester student of English Education Study Program whose competence at English speaking. This research was a qualitative research. The subject of this study was a successful language learner in the third semester. This research was a case study which used interview and document as the instruments of data collecting. In the interview, the researcher asked the participant to answer questions that focused on the metacognitive strategies used by him. The document was provided in order to support the primary data. Based on the result, the third semester student whose competence at English speaking skill used the four representative strategies which proposed by O’Malley and Chamot (1990) in his learning process. The first representative strategy used by the student was selective attention. The second was planning. The third was asking for people’s perspective towards self performance, reviewing how the task was going and detecting any error happened on the track. The fourth was evaluation which included keep applying the same activity as the strategy after knowing that the strategy worked and changing the way he performed depending on the other speaker.Keywords: Language Learning Strategies, Speaking

Abstract

Abstract: the objective of this study were to determine of differences in learning outcomes and how great the students’ influence taught using learning cycle model and conventional model in reaction rate material toward students of class XII at SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak. The type of this study was quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The population this study was from all student of XII at SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak, they were XII TOI, XII TPPPP, XII TEI, and XII TKR. Random sampling is used in this study with class XII TPPPP as the experiment class and class XII TEI as the control class. The tools of data collecting was the test learning outcomes. The results of this study showed that the learning outcomes of the experiment class with the control class with value sig. 0,000 < 0,05 meant there were differences between learning outcomes from the control class that used conventional learning and the experiment class that use,.d learning cycle 5E. Learning cycle 5E influenced about 41,15% with effect size 1,03 included in high category against the learning outcomes in reaction rate material toward students of class XII at SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak.Keywords: Learning cycle 5E model, learning outcome, reaction rate

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of interactive Problem task and Experiments (P&E) method simulated by LabInApp to reduce students? misconception on oscillation material at SMP Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. The research design was one group pretest-posttest design. A total of 32 students were assigned as samples by purposive sampling technique. The data collected using multiple choise diagnostic tests with an open reason. Data analysis through DQM test found that students misconception of 32,8%, 46,9%, 60,0%, 37,5%, 35,5%, 34,9% and 32,9% with medium category. Based on the Mc Nemar test obtained price ?2count of 13.067; 5,882; 11,077; 16,056; 11,077; 4,900; 11,077; 12,071; 17,053; 14,063; 6,750; 6,125; 7,111; and 7,111. Overall price ?2count> ?2table = 3,841 with ? = 5%. Thus, there is a significant change in student misconception. The Wilcoxon Match Pairs test is used to test the effectiveness of interactive problem task and experiment methods. Wilcoxon Match Pairs test results obtained price zcount = -3.7973 and ztabel = 1.96 with ? = 5%. Abstract

Abstract  This study aimed how to know implementasion in learning models Team Games Tournament( TGT ) and conventional learning models in improving student learning outcomes lesson Economy Class X SMA PGRI 1 Pontianak. Method used in this study is an experimental method using quasi experimental design with design research nonequivalent control group design . Subjects in this study were students of class X SMA PGRI 1 Pontianak with the number of 57students . Data collection tool used in this study is a direct observation sheet , achievement test documentation and paper work The results showed that the learning outcomes of the experimental class is higher than the control class for improving student learning outcomes larger experimental class is 75,60 while the control group only increased by 67,65.  Keywoards: Teams Games Tournament, Learning Economy

Abstract

AbstractThis thesis title is "Cultural Dominance At Inter-Ethnic Mixed Marriage Family". The purpose of this study was to determine the cultural dominance of ethnic intermarriage families in the hamlet of Paradise. The approach used is qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique used is the technique of interview, observation and documentation. The analysis in this study are presented in descriptive qualitative by using informants as many as 10 people consisting of 5 pairs of ethnic intermarriage-Dayak Java, Java-Sambas, and Java-Bugis. The results showed that there has been a cultural domination kinship systems related to culture, livelihood systems, language, and art on each pair of mixed marriages. Some informants have dominated in his work, from the kinship system of each child to follow the ethnic intermarriage couples ayahya, customary marriages performed depends on the agreement of the mixed marriage couples. 4 languages in terms of interbreeding dominant partner uses the Java language, while one pair of intermarrying more dominant use Malay Sambas. In terms of art, intermarried couples retain the more dominant Javanese art. while one pair of intermarrying more dominant use Malay Sambas.
