Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the science-physics inquiry learning model on the subject of motion. The form of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in 2 cycles with stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Subjects in this study were students of class VII H Pontianak 23 Public Middle School consisting of 30 students. Data collection through tests, observation sheets and documentation. The results showed the average post-test value of cycle I was 76 and cycle II was 87. The completeness of learning outcomes in cycle I was 50% while in cycle II was 86.7% meaning that there was an increase in learning outcomes by 36.7% of the cycle I to cycle II. As for the results of observations made, obtained data is that after the inquiry learning model is applied the learning process becomes more active. The results of this study indicate that the application of inquiry learning models on the subject of motion can improve student learning outcomes. This research is expected to be used as an alternative teacher to improve science-physics learning outcomes in the subject of motion. Keywords: learning outcomes, application of inquiry learning models, research subjects discussion of motion

Abstract

 AbstractThe research is to determine the effectiveness of learning strategy “mind mapping” on students' understanding on the material “circulatory system” of eighth graders of Gembala Baik Pontianak Junior High School. The research uses quasi-experimental designs with nonequivalent control group design plan. The samples consist of two classes, VIII C as the experiment class and VIII E as the control class.  The research’s instrument used is 20 multiple choice items. The result indicates  the mind mapping strategy  is better than expository strategy. The increasing of the mean score from 7.33 to 16.67 for the experiment class. And from 7.14 to 14.65 for the control class. From Mann-Whitney U test, Zcount < Ztable (-4.24 < -1.96),  there are differences of students’ understanding. The result of Effect Size (0.92), gets the area of 0.3212 ( O-Z table). It means that the mind mapping learning strategy gives an effectiveness of 32.12% on students’ understanding. Abstract

Learning difficulties are the existence of a distance between expected academic achievement and academic achievement, which is caused by a disturbance in a psychological process or more, so that it is said to have learning difficulties if the specified time limit does not reach a measure of understanding of learning material. Tutoring program is a program that provides services to students to develop their personality and self-adjustment to their duties as a lesson, in which planning needs to be determined who will provide services and what is needed for the implementation of the tutoring program itself. The method used is descriptive method. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 326 and the sample was 82 students of SMAN 5 Pontianak. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques and data collection tools with questionnaires. While the data analysis technique uses a percentage formula. Based on learning difficulties found, a tutoring program was developed to overcome student learning difficulties. Keyword: Learning Difficulties, Consultation Programme

Abstract

AbstractThe problemin this study was how to of teachers in the learning and teaching process for XI  grade students at the SMK Bina utama in Sanggau ? Based on the formulation of the problem, the sub-problem was formulated as follows: how to control the prevention and suppression by teachers in the learning process for students of class XI at the Bina Utama in Sanggau. This study used qualitative inquiry with descriptive methods. The data collection tool used observation guidelines, guesswork guides, and documentation studies. The decision showed that 1. Preventive social control carried out by the teacher before starting the learning process and teaching the teacher to guide, direct, and invite students not to be deviant in school both in the learning process in the classroom and in the school environment. 2. Oppressive social control carried out by the teacher when looking for students who are devious when learning activities in the classroom teachers give direct reprimands 3. Social control is curative by the teacher by giving penalties or sanctions to students who are deviant so students realize mistakes and do not repeat the same action to give the impression of prevention to students who are deviant and other students.  Keywords: Deviant Behavior Social Control, Students,Teacher,

Abstract

 AbstrakThis study aims to determine the effect of organizational activities and academic pretensions on the work readiness of FKIP Untan Economic Education students. Research is causal associative research with a quantitative approach. The variables in this study are organizational activity, academic achievement, and work readiness. The source of data in this study were Economics Education students who served as Hima administrators and UKM in the FKIP Untan 2017 period of as many as 65 people. This study uses a saturated sample technique. Determination of the sample in this study must meet the active criteria in the management of the organization so that the students as many as 65 people were all sampled. The research data was collected through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was performed by multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant effect of organizational activity and academic achievement together on the work readiness of economic education study program students with a calculated F value of 48,133 and a significance of 0,000; there is a significant positive effect of organizational activity on the work readiness of students in economic education study programs with a tcount of 9.001 and a significance of 0.000; there is a significant positive effect of learning achievement on the work readiness of students majoring in economic education with a tcount of 2.149 and a significance of 0.036. Keywords: Organizational Activity, Academic Achievement, Work Readiness

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara laporan keuangan HMJ PIPS dan HIMMAT FKIP Untan periode 2014/2015 dengan Pernyataan Standar Akuntnsi (PSAK) Nomor 45. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, dan bentuk penelitian adalah survey. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua dan bendahara HMJ PIPS dan HIMMAT FKIP Untan periode 2014/2015. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah laporan keuangan HMJ PIPS dan HIMMAT FKIP Untan periode 2014/2015. Adapun hasil penelitian yaitu kesesuaian laporan keuangan yang dibuat oleh HMJ PIPS FKIP Untan dengan persentase 90,57 % dan dikategorikan sangat sesuai. Sedangkan laporan keuangan HIMMAT FKIP Untan periode 2014/2015 dengan persentase 77,78 % dan dikategorikan sesuai dengan Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi (PSAK) Nomor 45. Kata Kunci : Analisis, Laporan Keuangan, Organisasi Nirlaba Abstract: This study aims to know compatibility a financial statement of HMJ PIPS and HIMMAT FKIP Untan period 2014/2015. The  method  used  is  descriptive  and research  form is survey studies.  This research data source is head and treasurer of college students association FKIP Untan period 2014/2015. This research data source financial statement of HMJ PIPS and HIMMAT FKIP Untan period 2014/2015. The results showed financial statement of HMJ PIPS and HIMMAT FKIP Untan period 2014/2015 has fulfilled all of components required for non profit organizations based on PSAK 45. The result of resarch is compality financial statement HMJ PIPS FKIP Untan period 2014/2015 is 90,57% in category very compatible. While, financial statement HIMMAT FKIP Untan is  77,78 % in category suitable based on PSAK 45.   Keywords: Analysis, Financial Statement, Non Profit Organization

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran menyimak legenda yang dilakukan guru bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas X. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sumber datanya adalah Dra. Zuraida, M.Pd. selaku guru bidang studi bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas X. Datanya adalah hasil observasi dan hasil wawancara secara langsung terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran menyimak. Hasil analisis (1) kegiatan pendahuluan berupa menyiapkan siswa secara fisik dan mental, serta melakukan apersepsi sudah dilaksanakan guru sesuai dengan standar proses pendidikan. (2) kegiatan inti yang dilakukan guru dibagi menjadi eksplorasi, elaborasi, dan konfirmasi. Kegiatan eksplorasi berupa memberikan kesempatan berpikir kepada siswa untuk mencari informasi, kegiatan elaborasi yaitu pemberian tugas secara tekun dan cermat, serta kegiatan konfirmasi yaitu umpan balik atau memberikan penguatan kepada siswa. (3) Kegiatan penutup yang dilakukan guru adalah menyimpulkan materi bersama siswa. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah seharusnya guru melaksanakan keterampilan menyimak sesuai dengan konteksnya. Kata kunci: pembelajaran, menyimak, legenda Abstract: This research is motivated by the desire of the author to investigate the learning implementation in listening a legend by the Indonesian teacher to students in class X. The method used in this research is descriptive in a form of qualitative. The source is taken from Dra. Zuraida, M.Pd. as teachers of Bahasa Indonesia and X grade students. The data were analyzed by classifying and describing the pre activities, main activities, and post activities. The research results in the learning implementation of listening a legend are (1) The pre activities such as preparing students physically and mentally, doing apperception on initial activities have been implemented well agree with process standard by the teacher. (2) The main activities that is done by the teacher are divided into exploration, elaboration and confirmation. The exploration activities are providing opportunities for students to think in finding information, the elaboration activities such as applying concepts and giving assignments to students have been implemented diligent and accurate, the confirmation activities in form of giving feedback are less given to students. (3) The post activities that have done  by the teacher only in form information with students. The suggestion is the teacher to learning implementation in listening a legend agree with the context. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find out the shift in the activities of perori local farmers Dayak Keninjal in Ribang Rabing hamlet. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data sources of this research are the village head of Bina Jaya, the hamlet head of Ribang Rabing, the traditional figure of Ribang Rabing hamlet and local farmers Dayak Keninjal hamlet Ribang Rabing. The data obtained are sourced from the bina jaya village document, the results of observations directly to the field and interview with informants. The results showed that perori activities of the local farmers Dayak Keninjal in the hamlet of Ribang Rabing had undergone a shift and were rarely carried out again, this is evidenced by changes in the system of perori activity so that the wage system emerged. The forms of planned change is the change in the system of perori activities, changes in livelihoods, shifts in agricultural equipment, and changes to agricultural pattern traditions. While the form of unplanned change is a change in the values of perori and changes in attitudes and behavior patterns among groups in society. Keywords: Dayak Keninjal, Shift in Perori Activity

Abstract

AbstractMathematics at school and mathematics found by students in everyday life are very different. That is why, mathematics is often seen as a difficult lesson by students. Mathematics must build a bridge between real-world mathematics and mathematics at school. This study aimed to identify elements of Dayak Kayaan beads that are related to mathematics. The subject of this study was those who considered to have the required knowledge, namely FeronikaBuaa, EmilianaKavung, and Klara Ida. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. From the results of interviews and analysis of the data obtained are (1) How to mention the calculation of beads related to the material spelled; (2) The drawing pattern on the bead sequence is related to square material (flat build); (3) Grouping of bead colors on bead sequences related to set material; (4) Economic Value related to social arithmetic; (5) Forming a pattern with an odd bead in a series of beads related to the material of odd numbers; (6) The similarity of the shape of the drawing pattern to the bead sequence is related to the material of symmetry. Keywords: Ethnomathematics, Stringing Beads, Dayak Kayaan

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan produk paket pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran kecakapan writing dengan menggunakan wordless picture media berbasis komputer Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti juga menggunakan beberapa alat pengumpulan data seperti panduan wawancara, ceklis observasi, angket yang memungkin semua data yang diperlukan dapat diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, sebaran angket dan observasi selama proses pembelajaran. Setelah proses yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini, maka ada beberapa temuan antara lain, produk media pembelajaran dalam bentuk pembelajaran kecakapan writing dengan menggunakan wordless picture berbasis komputer dalam bentuk presentasi Ms. Power point memperoleh tanggapan yang positif dari siswa sebagai pengguna dan guru Bahasa Inggris. Selain itu, baik dalam hal penyajian materi, desain pembelajaran serta media yang digunakan mendapatkan penilaian yang baik dari para ahli sehingga layak untuk digunakan sebagai produk dalam penelitian pengembangan ini.   Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran, kecakapan writing, wordless picture. Abstract: The purpose of this research and development is to produce a package of learning and skill learning media for writing skill using wordless picture-based media computer  the researcher also use some tools of data collection such as guide interview, observation checklist, which now facilitates all necessary data can be obtained from the results of the interview, observation and question form distribution during the learning process. After all the process were completed in this research, so there are several findings, namely, the products of learning media in the form of skills writing using wordless picture with computer-based in the form of a Power point presentation gained a positive responses from students as users and language teachers. In addition, both in terms of presentation materials, instructional design and media used, get a good appraisal from experts so worthy to be used as a product in research development.
