AbstractThe research is based on the desire of researcher to analyze the motion contained in Gong Gamal Dance of Sawe Dayak Tribe. The purpose of this research is to describe the structure of Gong Gamal Dance movement with pictures to be understood more clearly. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative form and using ethnocoreology approach, with data source in the form of Gong Gamal Dance which is exhibited by resource persons and artists of Gong Gamal Dance namely Lukas Sadarung, Robertus apon, and Lusia Siti who know about the movement of Gong Gamal Dance in Sekadau Hulu Subdistrict of Sekadau Regency. The research data in the form of movement structure of Gong Gamal Dance, which is related of the art in the dance perfomance which are the beginning, the contents, and the end. Data collection techiques are observation techniques. Technique examination of data validity in the form of extension technique of observation and technique of triangulation. The reult of research are: 1) Analysis of movement structure of Gong Gamal Dance with two motion variation where one variance is divided into two, male and female motion is motion 1 a, motion 1 b, motion 2 a, and 2 b are analyzed based on motion motifs, motion phrases, motion sentences, and clusters of motion. 2) Gong Dynasty Gamal Dance Notation. 3) Design of research results with curriculum applicable asteaching mterials Art and Cultural Arts (dance) with learning implementation plan (RPP) in high school students.Keywords: Motion Structure, Gong Gamal Dance, Dayak Sawe.

AbsractThis study was aimed to determine the effectiveness of applying the creative problem solving learning models with the use of conventional learning models. The form used in this research was quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The tool of data collection in this study was a multiple choice learning result and observation sheet. The results of hypothesis testing using one sample test t test with ? = 5% was obtained Zhitung = 7.454 (Zhitung> Z table), which in the rejection area Ho. This showed that there were significant differences between student learning outcomes which taught by using creative problem solving learning models with those which taught by using conventional models. There was an increase of the mean score after giving the treatment of applying creative problem solving learning models in the experimental class, which the mean score of pre test was 50.16 and the mean score of post test was 87.58. There was also an increase of experimental class in the percentage of completeness which the score of pre test completeness percentage was 09.68% and the score of post-test completeness percentage was 100%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of creative problem solving learning models in maritime and agricultural economic strengthening subject in Indonesia at the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 02 Sungai Raya showed a very effective criteria for improving student learning outcomes, with a difference percentage was 90.32% and the effect size was 0.98. Abstract The research’s title is Improving Students’ Competence in Solving Sociological Problems through Problem Based Learning using Contextual Approach. It is assumed that teaching sociology subject in the school has not yet made the students critical to think. Besides, there are still limited teaching methodology used in the class resulting in low participation of students’ activity in group work discussion. This action research using contextual approach was participated by students of class X-G consisting of 11 male students and 23 female students and a sociology teacher. Data was collected by using observation, discussion sheet, and documentation. This study proposed two cycles; first cycle consisted of two meetings and the second cycle was three meetings. The research finding showed that average score of students before this research was still low, only 8 students passed minimal competence. However, after the first cycle was completed, it can be seen that students’competence in solving sociological problems improved well, around 14 students actively participated in the discussion. After cycle II was finished, the students’ competence sharly increased and 31 students were active participating in group work discussion. Keywords :   Problem-Based Learning, Contextual Approach, Classroom Action  Research, Students’ Competence in Solving Sociological Problems Â

AbstractThis study was motivated by the concern about the lack of students? ability in learning music, especially skills in playing musical instrument. One of the possible reason is due to the lack of talent and interest towards music class. The research questions were: (1) Howis learning rhythm pattern through non-conventional percussion instruments for eight-grade students of SMPN 9 Pontianak planned? (2) How is learning rhythm pattern through non-conventional percussion instruments carried out? (3) How does the application of rhythm-pattern lesson using non-conventional percussion instruments improve students? ability in music?.The methodology employed in this study was qualitative method using classroom action research. This is evidenced by (1) the observation notes in the cycle I, II, and III, (2) the improvement of the percentage of students? understanding and ability that rises from 25% (categorised as low) in pre-cycle to 30% (medium category) in cycle I. Thus, a significant upsurgeis observed in cycle II and III which is categorised as high, accounting 50% and 90% respectively.In the pedagogical implication, teacher should use non-conventional percussion instruments to attract learners? motivation in learning as well as to create a positive classroom atmosphere.Key words: Rhythm Pattern, Non-conventional Percussion Instrument.

AbstractThis study wasaimed to know how students? participation in learning recount text improved through peer review technique. The study was conducted through Classroom Action Research which was done in two cycles. The subjects of the research were the English teacher and 16 students of class X MIPA 1 at MA Al-Ma?arifSintang in academic year 2017/2018. The writer used observation checklists and field notes as instruments of data collection. The finding showed that applying Peer Review technique improved students? participation from cycle to cyle. In the first cycle, the students actively participated in learning simple past tense (was/were) in recount text. However, the students? participation in the first cycle was not good enough and most of students were still get low result of participation, the writer conducted the second cycle. In the second cycle, the students improved their participation in learning regular and irregular verbs. In conclusion, students? participation on learning recount text specifically in simple past tense improved through Peer Review technique. Keywords: Students? AbstractThis study aimed to determine the feasibility of class X biodiversity material magazines from morphology, nutrient content and fruit fiber of baladok (Burasaia congesta Decne), jempari (Ixora lobbii Loudon) and titidan (Nephelium cuspidatum Blume) that was carried out in Tembawang forest, Bengkayang District. This research was descriptive method using purposive sampling technique. There were two stages of validation, namely instrument validation and media validation. Magazine media was validated by five validators consisting of two lecturers of biology education FKIP Tanjungpura university, one biology teacher in Pontianak City and two biology teachers in Bengkayang District. Assessment of instrument validation and magazine validation consisted of three aspects and 10 criteria which were calculated using the analysis method of Lawshe Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI). Based on the results of the study, instrument validation was said to be feasible to use and corrected, while magazine validation obtained CVR and CVI of 0.99 values on aspects of language, content and construction in accordance with Lawshe's minimum CVR value for five validators so that the magazine was said to be valid and feasible to used as a learning media on material biodiversity in class X high school.Keywords: magazine, biodiversity, baladok, jempari, titidan

Abstrak : Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam menggunakan metode kerja kelompok di kelas 11 pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri Nomor 05 Terduk Dampak. Dalam matode ini metode yang digunakan adalah Deskriptip.Deskriptip ini merupakan prosedur pemecahan masalah yang diselidiki dengan menggambarkan keadan objek/supjek penelitian pada saat sekarang berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang tampak atau sebagaimana adanya. Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar pada siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 1,75 %. Dengan demikian skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I cukup kemudian pada siklus II dikatagorikan sangat baik. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Metode Kerja Kelompok Abstract : The general objective of this study was to describe the learning outcome of students in the learning of Natural Sciences using group work in class 11 at State Primary School No. 05 Terduk Impact . In this matode Deskriptip.Deskriptip method used is a troubleshooting procedure keadan investigated by describing the object / supjek research at the present time based on the facts that appear or as it is. There is an increased learning outcomes in the first cycle to the second cycle of 1.75 % . Abstract.This thesis is titled "Analysis of Majas in Sambas Regional Song Lyrics." The problems in this study are the comparison, the discussion of contradictions, the interrelationships, and the repetition in the Sambas regional song lyrics. This study aims to analyze the comparison, the content of the contradictions, the interrelationships, and the repetition in the Sambas regional song lyrics. The method in this research is descriptive method. The form of research used is qualitative research. The source of the data in this study is the Sambas song lyrics which became the background song or soundtrack of the Sambas film and the song by Bulyan Mustafa. The data in this study are comparisons, contradictions, linkages, and repetitions in Sambas regional song lyrics. The data collection technique in this study is documentary study. The data collection tool in this study is the author himself as a key instrument. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the data description and data analysis, it can be concluded that there are 7 lyrics of the comparison comparison, 3 lyrics of the contradiction, 6 lyrics of the contradictions, and 19 lyrics of the repetition. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan media realita terhadap nilai kemampuan menulis siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi bebas di kelas V. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequevalent Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 41 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada post-tes di kelas eksperimen memberikan pengaruh sebesar 83,14. Dengan perbedaan skor rata-rata post-test siswa sebesar 0,93. Hal ini berarti penggunaan media realita pada pembelajaran menulis puisi bebas memberikan pengaruh tinggi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 30 Pontianak Selatan.  Kata kunci : Pengaruh, Media Realita, Kemampuan Menulis, Puisi Bebas Abstract: This study aims to analyze how much influence media use reality to the value of students' writing skills in learning to write poetry freely in class V. The method used is a quasi experimental method to the study design used is Nonequevalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study is 41 students . The result showed that student learning outcomes in post- test in the experimental class effect of  83.14 . With the difference in the average score of students post-test of 0.93 . This means the use of media reality in learning to write poetry free high impact on learning outcomes of fifth grade students of State Elementary School 30 South Pontianak . AbstractThis research entitled “An Analysis of Types of Speech Acts in Whiplash by Damien Chazelle” was done in order to find out speech acts in the movie “Whiplash” and their functions. This research is in qualitative form and used descriptive method. The source of the data was the dialogue transcript of the movie. “Whiplash” was a one hour and forty minutes movie written and directed by Damien Chazelle. It is about Andrew Neiman, a student wanting to become a great jazz drummer faced with a killer teacher, Terrence Fletcher. The data was in form of words, phrases and sentences uttered by the main characters, being Andrew and Fletcher. The technique is content analysis. The context of each data was explained using S.P.E.A.K.I.N.G. technique and given after describing the speech acts. After the analysis, it was found that there are speech acts such as declarations, representatives, expressive, directives, and commissive. Declaration was uttered 7 times, representatives 30 times, expressive 27 times, directives, being the highest, 125 times, and commissive 6 times. Hopefully the result of this research can be useful for the readers. For students, hopefully, this research can be used as references for next research with different aspects.
