Abstract

AbstractThe results of observations by  researcher?s analysis at school about mathematical disposition students get less attention from the teacher. It is because there is not tools to measure stufent?s methematical disposition.  The main purpose of this research is the discovery of student?s methematical disposition instruments that already have validity and high realibilty. The subject of this research are student?s from SMK-SMTI pontianak, as amounted to 261 student?s/ the development procedure of this Research and Development (R&D)  with data analysis technique such as content validity by panelist, panelist compabiltity construst validity, item validity, and relibility coefisien. All of content validity by panelist are valid. The reliability of panelst conformity is reliable because of the founded of the matemathical disposition instrument of 45 statements is 0,936. The school is obtained exact?y 12 indicators with 3 statements eliminated on construct validity. Furhermore, based on the result afte trial usage, there are 42 items valid and the reliability coeffisient is 0,911.It can be conclude that the instruments for mensuring mathematical disposition of high school students os already standard and reliable. Thus the developed mathematical disposition instrument is eligible to be used in capturing  data on mathematical disposition of middle school student?sKeyword: Instrument Development, Mathematical Disposition

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan memahami bacaan siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dalam bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 36 siswa. Hasil analisis data keterampilan memahami peningkatan dari prasiklus, siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III. Pada prasiklus, nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 63,05. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 70,72. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata mengalami peningkatan menjadi 86,11. Pada siklus III, nilai rata-rata mengalami peningkatan menjadi 96,28. Persentase katuntasan belajar siswa pada prasiklus yaitu 27,78% mengalami peningkatan menjadi 41,67%. Persentase ketuntasan siklus II mengalami peningkatan 83,33% dan persentase ketuntasan siklus III mengalami peningkatan hingga 100%. Dengan demikian, peningkatan keterampilan memahami bacaan siswa telah mengalami peningkatan dari prasiklus, siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III. Kegiatan pembelajaran dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik, sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran berjalan dengan lancar. Kata kunci: Metode PQ4R, Keterampilan memahami bacaan. Abstract: The aimed of this research is to increase students'skill in reading comprehension. The method used in this research is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The sample was 36 students. The results of data analysis based on the increase of pre-cycle, there are there cycle on this research. In pre-cycle, the average of students value is 63.05. In the first cycle, the average of students value has increased to 70.72. In the second cycle, the average increased value to 86.11. In the third cycle, the average increased to 96.28. Completeness percentage of students in pre-cycle is 27.78% increased to 41.67%. The percentage of completeness the second cycle increased 83.33% and the percentage of completeness third cycle increased to 100%. Thus, the increase reading comprehension skills of students has increased on pre-cycle to the first cycle and second cycle also third cycle. Learning activities can be performed well, so that learning activities run smoothly. Keywords: PQ4R Method, Reading comprehension skills,.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was describe (1) the influence of academic qualifications on the performance of IPS teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Seponti Kabupaten Kayong Utara; (2) the influence of pedagogic competence qualification on teacher performance of IPS in SMP Negeri 1 Seponti of Kayong Utara Regency; (3) the influence of academic qualification and pedagogic competence collectively on the performance of IPS teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Seponti Kabupaten Kayong Utara. The research method used is research method. The sample in this study. From the research results obtained (1) there is the influence of Academic qualifications on socail sciences teacher performance Seponti junior hight school 1 in Kayong Utara Regency amounted 43.50 percent. (2)  there is influence of pedagogic competence on socail sciences teacher performance Seponti junior hight school 1 in Kayong Utara Regency amounted to 54,40 percent; (3) academic qualification and pedagogic competence have simultaneous effect on socail sciences teacher performance Seponti junior hight school in Kayong Utara Regency amounted to 96,10 percent. Keyword: Academic  Qualifications, Pedagogic Competence, Teacher Performance

Abstract

AbstractThis research is about Improving Students’ Achievement in Writing Hortatory Exposition Text through Debate Technique. The purpose of this research is to improve the students’ achievement in writing hortatory exposition text through debate technique. The methodology of this research was a classroom action research which consisted of 2 cycles. The participants of this research were 39 students of class XI IPA 5 of SMA 3 Pontianak in the academic year of 2016/2017. In completing the research, the researcher used the observation checklist table, field note and writing assessment as the instruments of data collecting. By conducting the classroom action research, it was found out that debate technique improved the students’ achievement in writing hortatory exposition text. The result of this research has shown that the students’ progress is improved in each cycle. The mean score of the first cycle is 59.74 (poor to average). In the first cycle some students were not able to develop the ideas and make sentences into a good paragraph. The second cycle is 70 (average to good). In brief, the increasing score proved that debate technique improved the students’ achievement in writing hortatory exposition text.  Keywords: debate technique, writing, hortatory exposition text, classroom action research

Abstract

  Abstrak:Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi untuk menggali makna simbol busana tari soongpak Dayak Kayaan Medalaam di Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu Kalimantan Barat. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori mengenai makna, simbol, busana tari,motif, bentuk, dan warna.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik penguji keabsahan data adalah menggunakan perpanjangan pengamatan dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil dari penelitian makna simbol busana tari Soongpak Dayak Kayaan Medalaam di Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu Kalimantan Barat adalah bahwa didalam busana tari Soongpak terdapat motif bunga yang dimana motif bunga tersebut berasal dari bunga tubun situn yang merupakan sebuah bunga yang tumbuh dihutan pedalaman Kayaan Medalaam. Selain itu, terdapat motif anjing dan naga yang juga menjadi ciri khas dari suku Dayak kayaan Medalaam.  Hasil penelitian ini dapat memperkenalkan busana tradisi suku Dayak Kayaan Medalaam juga digunakan untuk tari Soongpak dan cara penggunaan busana tersebut. Kata Kunci : makna simbol, busana tari soongpak, dayak kayaan Abstract: This research is motivated to explore the meaning of the symbol of fashion dance Dayak soongpak Kayaan Medalaam in Kapuas Hulu in West Kalimantan. The theory used in this research is the theory about the meaning, symbols, fashion dance, patterns, shapes, and colors. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Forms of research in this study is qualitative. The approach used is phenomenological approach. Data collection technique used is observation, interview and documentation. Mechanical testing the validity of the data is to use an extension observation and triangulation of sources. The results of the study the meaning of the symbol of fashion dance Dayak Soongpak Kayaan Medalaam in Kapuas Hulu in West Kalimantan is that there Soongpak dance fashion florals where the flower motif derived from flowers Tubun Situn which is a flower that grows in the forest hinterland Kayaan Medalaam. In addition, there is a dog and dragon motif which is also a characteristic of the Dayak tribe Medalaam wealth. The results of this research can introduce clothing tradition of Dayak Kayaan Medalaam Soongpak also used to dance and how to use these clothes. Keywords: meaning of symbols, fashion dance Soongpak, dayak kayaan

Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to known effectiveness the SQ3R reading technique to remediate students? misconceptions on solar system in SMP Negeri 4 Pontianak. Sample of this research was students? from 7th grade (N=32). Diagnostic test which consisted 10 three tier multiple choice test used to known students? conceptions. Based on the result of data analysis found the average decrease of students? that misconceptions after being given remedial learning equal to 33%. The result of McNemar test shown there was significant conceptual change  (?2hitung = 51,17; df = 1; ? = 0,05). The average of gain value was ?g?=0,58 (medium). It is expected that SQ3R reading technique can be used as an alternative remediation activities to overcome students? misconceptions. Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, Remediasi, SQ3R, Tata Surya

Abstract

Abstrak Judul Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang ?Optimalisasi Layanan Sirkulasi di Perpustakaan STMIK Pontianak?. Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi menjadi pusat atau sumber belajar bagi mahasiswa untuk terus mengembangkan budaya baca, dan menyediakan informasi akurat. Untuk merebut hati mahasiswa, sistem layanan harus efektif yaitu dengan cara memberikan layanan terbaik khususnya layanan sirkulasi. Demi mencapai keberhasilan sebuah perpustakaan, layanan sirkulasi perlu dioptimalisasikan, ada beberapa metode yang digunakan dalam mengoptimalkan layanan sirkulasi di Perpustaaan STMIK Pontianak. Tehnik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui dalam optimalisasi layanan sirkulasi dari segi keanggotaan, peminjaman, pengembalian, perpanjangan, pengadaan koleksi, pemberian sanksi, dan pembuatan data statistik.  Perpustakaan STMIK Pontianak optimalsasi layanan sirkulasi perlu dilakukan dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan yang efektif agar mahasiswa atau pemustaka dapat memanfaatkan bahan pustaka semaksimal mungkin yang telah disediakan sesuai dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa. Optimalisasi layanan sirkulasi ini adalah  memberikan rasa nyaman dengan layanan yang diberikan oleh petugas perpustakaan.  Kata kunci: Optimalisasi, Layanan Sirkulasi, Perguruan Tinggi.

Abstract

AbstarctThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of concept attainment approach with conceptual change text on molecular shape materials toward the learning outcomes of students SMAN 1 Sungai Pinyuh. Research form was a quasi-experimental research design with non equivalent control group pretest-postest design. The sampling method used purposive sampling, where the X MIPA 2 class was chosen  as an experimental class and the X MIPA 3 class as the control class. Data collection’s tool used the achievement test in the form of an short answer. Test result by U-Mann Whitney (=0,05) obtained significant 0,000, indicating that there was a difference between the learning outcomes of student who were tought using a concept attainment approach with conceptual change text and students be taught by conventional methode in the molecular shape materials. Concept attainment approach with conceptual change text gave a high influence with effect size value by 1,48. Therefore concept attainment approach with conceptual change text influence students learning outcomes by 56.78%. Keyword: Concept Attainment Approach, Conceptual Change Text, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of using picture and picture model in teaching geography to students Class XI Social SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa Kubu Raya Regency. The method used was Experiment method in form of Quasi Experiment  design and Nonequivalent Control Group Research Design. The population was the whole 118 students of class XI, with the sample of 31 students from class XI Social 1 as  the experiment class and 25 students from class XI Social 2 as the control class. The result was the average of the Control class was 76,44 and the average of the Experiment class was 85,13. From the result of the test from T-test showed the value of tcount of3,9031 and the ttable (α = 5%) of 1,6749, meaning that tcount (3,9031) > ttable (1,6749), therefore, Ha is accepted. In conclusion, there is an effect of using picture and picture cooperative model in teaching geography to the students Class XI Social. The value of Effect Size (ES) was 0,84 (category high). Based on the value obtained, it can be said that the application of Picture and Picture Model gave positive impact to Students Class XI Social.Keywords: impact, Picture and Picture Model, Learning Result, Geography

Abstract

Abstrak: Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif, jenis studi komparatif, untuk membandingkan budaya organisasi yang ada di sekolah berprestasi. Data yang digunakan data primer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara Budaya Organisasi di SMA Negeri 3 dengan SMA Ignasius dengan taraf signifikansi 0,984. (2) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara Budaya Organisasi di SMA Negeri 3 dengan MA Negeri Model dengan taraf signifikansi 0,208. (3) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara Budaya Organisasi di SMA Negeri 3 dengan MA YPPU dengan taraf signifikansi 0,778. (4) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara Budaya Organisasi di MA Negeri Model dengan MA YPPU dengan taraf signifikansi 0,768. (5) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara Budaya Organisasi di MA Negeri Model dengan SMA Ignasius dengan taraf signifikansi 0,097. (6) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara Budaya Organisasi di SMA Ignasius dengan MA YPPU dengan taraf signifikansi 0,562. Kata Kunci: Budaya Organisasi  Abstract: In this research method used is quantitative method, the type of comparative studies, to compare existing organizational culture in school achievement. Data used primary data. The results showed that (1) There is no significant difference between organizational culture at SMA Negeri 3 with SMA Ignatius with a significance level of 0.984. (2) There is no significant difference between Cultural Organization in SMA Negeri 3 with MA Model with a significance level of 0.208. (3) There is no significant difference between organizational culture at SMA Negeri 3 with MA YPPU with a significance level of 0.778. (4) There is no significant difference between Cultural Organization in State MA Model with MA YPPU with a significance level of 0.768. (5) There is no significant difference between Cultural Organization in State MA Model with Ignatius High School with a significance level of 0.097. (6) There is no significant difference between Cultural Organization in Ignatius High School with MA YPPU with a significance level of 0.562. Keyword: Organizational Culture
