Abstract

                         AbstractThis study aims to determine the level of students' critical thinking skills in problem solving on a quadrilateral subject. This is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of the study were students of grade IXB of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. Subjects were selected using purposive sampling. Data collection instruments are observation and critical thinking ability tests. Data were analyzed by classifying data in the level of critical thinking based on Ferret critical thinking indicators based on the four steps of Polya's problem solving. From a study of 26 students, students' critical thinking results were 7.7% for critical thinking, 26.9% for critical thinking, 65.4% for uncritical thinking. Highly capable students are able to reach the third level of thinking, which is critical. They are able to fulfill the 4 characters of critical thinking or only meet three characters of critical thinking with the provisions of K1 and K2 fulfilled. Students who are capable of level 2 thinking (sufficiently critical) are able to fulfill three or two characteristics of critical thinking. Students who are capable of level 1 (uncritical) level thinking only fulfill one of the critical thinking characters or even students do not fulfill all of the critical thinking characters available.Keywords: Critical thinking, Polya’s problem solving, Level of critical thinking

Abstract

This study aimed to know the feasibility of poster about grape (Vitis vinifera L.) nutrient content which were sold in Pontianak as a learning medium on sub material of nutrient in class XI SMA. This study was descriptive with questionnaire as non-test data technique collection. Validation was done by the experts; they were 2 Biology Education lectures and 3 biology high school teachers in Pontianak. The technique of data analysis used Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI). The result of data analysis showed that the poster was feasible for a medium learning for the material sub class XI SMA nutrients the entire assessment criteria had reached the minimum Lawshe CVR value that was equal to 0.99. Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to determine the increase of educational interaction and learning outcome of student using the method of role playing in grade IV SDS Al Madani South East Pontianak. The research method that been used was descriptive method with type of Classroom Action Research. This research was done 3 cycles. The result of research were obtined (1) The ability of teacher to prepare lesson plan from cycle I was 2,014, cycle II 2,648, cycle III 3,782. (2) The ability of teachers in implementing the learning increase from cycle I 2,415, cycle II 3,165, cycle III 3,915. (3) Educational interaction of student increase from cycle I 20,49%, cycle II 39,022%, cycle III 50,72%. (4) The average of learning outcome of student incrased from cycle I 77,56, cycle II 81,34, cycle III 86,70. Abstract

 Abstract:This research generally aims to reveal the influence of academic supervision and teacher participation in the KKG to the professional competence of teachers of State Elementary School in Kecamatan Sajad. This research uses quantitative approach. The data used is quantitative data. The population in this study amounted to 104 teachers. While the sample amounted to 77 teachers. Data were collected using questionnaires by measurement model using Likert scale. The collected data is tabulated. Then performed the analysis using the help of computer application program, namely SPSS version 24 for Window. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that 1) the influence of academic supervision (X1) on teacher professional competence (Y) Beta (b1) of 0.415 = 41.50%; 2) teacher participation in KKG (X2) on teacher professional competence (Y) Beta ) By 0,303 = 30.30%; 3) the influence of academic supervision (X1) and teacher participation in KKG (X2) on professional competence of teacher equal to 0,373 or 37,30%. The result of F test seen on the ANOVA output from multiple linear regression analysis shows that Fcount> Ftable(21,985>3,105).The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1) the supervision of elementary school students in Sajad sub-district is quite good, 2) teacher participation in KKG SD Negeri in Sajad sub-district is high, 3) the professional competence of teachers of SD Negeri in Sajad sub district is high, 4) (5) teachers' participation in KKG significantly influence the professional competence of teachers of SD Negeri in Kecamatan Sajad, and 6) Academic supervision and teacher participation in KKG together significantly influence on competence Professional teacher of SD Negeri in Kecamatan Sajad.  Keyword: Academic Supervision, Teacher Participation in KKG, Professional   Teacher Competency.

Abstract

Abstract This research is commonly purposed to reveal how is headmaster leadership influence toward teacher action, is the commitment organization influence to teacher action, is the headmaster leadership significant to the teacher of SMP Negeri Sub-district Teluk Keramat. This research used quantitative approach, with causal study type (effect study). The populations in this research were 186 teachers. While the sample consist of 127 teachers. The instrument of this research was questionnaires with likert scale, technique of analysis which is used multiple linear regression. Data analysis is done by using spss program. Version 20 for window.From research finding is found that: (1) headmaster leadership influence (X1) is effected significant to teacher action (Y) Beta (b1) was about 0,243 = 24,3 %. 2) commitment organization influence (X2) to teacher action (Y) Beta (b1) was about 0,323 = 32.3 %. 3) headmaster leadership influence (X1) and commitment organization (X2) toward teacher action was 0, 281 or 28,1 %.  Keywords: Leadership, Commitment, Teacher Action

Abstract

AbstactThe Background of this research is student?s writing descriptive text ability in SMK Cinta Bumi Khatulistiwa are under the minimum criteria. There were only 7 students who achieved the value of 75 which is the minimum criteria established by the school. The problem is because students are difficult to distinguish between descriptive text and exposition text. In addition students are also required to write descriptive text that makes students suppressed and afraid to write. The method of this research is descriptive method with qualitative research form. Sources of data in this research is teacher and 32 tenth grade students of SMK Cinta Bumi Khatulistiwa. The data is in the document in form lesson plan and the result of student?s test of writing descriptive text ability through quantum writing method. technique of the data collection are observation technique and measurement technique. The average number of values in writing descriptive text through quantum writing method using video as the media in the first cycle is 2347 or 73,3 and the second cycle increase 2501 or 78,0. It?s means quantum writing gave effect on student in SMK Cinta Bumi Khatulistiwa. Keywords: writing ability, descriptive text, quantum writing method

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to describe the science literacy of twelve grade students of science class in SMA Mujahidin Pontianak on  Acid-Base Solution subject matter. The method used in this research was descriptive. The data were collected through purposive sampling technique with 31 participants of twelve grade students of science class. The tools that were used in gathering the data were test and interview guidelines. The science literacy that were measured content, process, and context of science. Based on the research findings, the students had a medium science literacy (19,35%) and a low science literacy (80,65%). Most of the students tend to learn by memorizing in which may affect them to have a less understanding the concept and in applying the acid-base solution material. It was found also that most of students could only used the basic concept but had a difficulty in using the complex one. Students can used the concept of the material in everyday life if they have a well understanding of the concept itself.    Keywords: science literacy ability, medium science literacy, low science literacy, acid-base solution

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan nilai-nilai sosial dalam kegiatan kepramukaan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 ngabang, Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, alat pengumpulan data panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan  nilai kasih sayang yaitu saling peduli, pengabdian kepada pramuka dengan meyanyikan hymne pramuka, tolong menolong, sikap kekeluargaan dan kesetiaan serta kepedulian. Nilai tanggung jawab dapat dilihat dari anggota yang saling memiliki, bersikap disiplin tidak melanggar aturan serta empati kepada teman atau lingkungan yang tertimpa musibah. Nilai keserasian hidup dilihat dari anggota bersikap adil, dengan tanpa melihat siapapun orangnya jika salah akan dihukum, bersikap toleransi menghargai dan menghormati perbedaan keyakinan, kerjasama dalam setiap regu dan saling menunjukkan sikap musyawarah antar anggota pramuka siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 2 Ngabang. Kata kunci : Penerapan, Nilai Sosial, Kepramukaan Abstract: The purpose of this research is the application of social values ​​in scouting activities class XI student of SMAN 2 Ngabang, method used is qualitative . Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation study, data collection tools guide observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the application of value affectionate care, devotion to scout with singing Hymn of scouts, mutual help, fraternal and loyalty and concern. Values ​​of responsibility can be seen from the members who belong to each other, to be disciplined not to break the rules and empathy to a friend or environmental calamity strikes. Value harmony live views of members to be fair, regardless of whoever the person if the wrong will be punished, be tolerant to appreciate and respect the differences in beliefs, cooperation in each team and each shows the attitude of deliberation among the members of the scout class XI student at SMAN 2 Ngabang. Abstract

AbstrakMasalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Pengaruh Pembelajaran Teaching Game for Understanding Terhadap Hasil Belajar Passing Bawah Bola Voli pada Siswa Kelas VII A Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 22, Pontianak. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pembelajaran Teaching Game for Understanding Terhadap Hasil Belajar Passing Bawah Bola Voli pada Siswa Kelas VII A Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 22, Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian pre-eksperimen design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi  kelas VII A Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 22, Pontianak yang berjumlah 28 orang siswa. Dalam melakukan penelitian populasi, peneliti menggunakan teknik total sampling dalam pengambilan sampel. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji prasyarat analisis, yaitu: uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, serta menggunakan uji T (uji pengaruh). Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh ttest sebesar 15,68. Dengan melihat tabel statistika dimana derajat kebebasan dk (N-1) adalah 28-1=27 dan pada taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh nilai ttabel sebesar 2,052. Dengan demikian nilai dari ttest sebesar 15,85 lebih besar dari nilai ttabel yaitu 2,052, artinya hipotesis diterima berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap model pembelajaran Teaching Game for Understanding pada siswa kelas VII A Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 22, Pontianak.Kata Kunci : Teaching Game for Understanding, Hasil Belajar Passing Bawah Bola Voli.

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this study is”what the community participation was education SMAN 3 Teluk Keramat Sambas. The purpose of research was describe of the forms public education in SMAN 3 Teluk Keramat Sambas. The research used descriptive methods with qualitative study. The data collecting was a student of sociology in academic year 2015 FKIP UNTAN. The technique of data collecting were observation,interview and documentation. Tool of data collecting are observation, guidelines interview, arcives book and notes. The analysis in this research served in a descriptive qualitative by using informans abuot three people. The participation of citizen in education might include people formulating vision and mission education, from meeting and discussion, contribution ideas and respond or aversion towards programs and activites offered by school. The community participation in education system of community participation in accepting new students, procurement of teachers, the procurement facility, infrastructure, and supervision. The form of public participation in evaluation form of criticism and input community, and report evaluation  carried out by which was signed by the school management and community members through school commite..   Keywords: Community, Education, Participation.
