Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian yaitu: (a) Kemampuan siswa mengenali, memahami konsepsegitiga sebangun melalui strategi konstruktivistik berbantuan media komputer; (b)Kemampuan siswa menganalisis, menemukan sifat-sifat dari segitiga sebangun denganstrategi konstruktivistik berbantuan media komputer; (c) Cara siswa memahamimenghitung luas segitiga menggunakan konsep perbandingan kesebangunan segitigadengan strategi konstruktivistik berbantuan media komputer; (d) Kemampuan siswamengaplikasikan pemahaman menghitung luas segitiga menggunakan konsepperbandingan kesebangunan segitiga dengan strategi konstruktivistik berbantuan mediakomputer dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian : (a) siswa mengenali,memahami konsep kesebangunan setelah diberikan banyak contoh dan berinteraksi denganlingkungan sekitar; (b) siswa mampu menganalisis bentuk segitiga sebangun, menemukansifat segitiga sebangun; (c) cara siswa memahami penjelasan konsep perbandingankesebangunan segitiga adalah gambar segitiga bentuk awal mengalami perbesaran ataupengecilan dengan perbandingan yang sama pada tiap sisi gambar segitiga, yangditerapkan dalam menghitung luas segitiga; (d) siswa dapat mengerjakan soal, siswa dapatmemberikan contoh tentang penggunaan konsep kesebangunan dalam kehidupan seharihari.Kata Kunci: strategi, konstruktivistik, konsep segitiga sebangun Abstract: The aims: (a) student?s ability recognize, understand concept of similar trianglesthrough constructivist strategies assisted by multimedia; (b) students skills analyzing,finding the properties of similar triangles through constructivist strategies assisted bymultimedia; (c) students understand calculating area of triangle using concept of similaritywith comparison through constructivist strategies assisted by multimedia; (d) studentsability applying understanding calculate area of triangle using concept of similarity withcomparison through constructivist strategies assisted by multimedia in daily life. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa yang masih rendah dan tidak dinilainya sikap ilmiah siswa  dalam pembelajaran kimia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan sikap ilmiah dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberikan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan siswa yang diberikan pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri, serta mengetahui bagaimana sikap imiah siswa pada kedua kelas. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik Random Sampling. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Exsperimental Design) dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah “Non Randomize Control Group Pretest Postest Design”. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan terdiri dari soal pretest, posttest, dan lembar observasi sikap ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri memiliki rata-rata persentase sikap ilmiah yang kuat yaitu sebesar 77% dan kelas yang diajar tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri memiliki rata-rata persentase sikap ilmiah yang cukup yaitu sebesar 57,68%. Analisis data posttest dan data sikap ilmiah siswa menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan sikap ilmiah dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberikan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan siswa yang diberikan pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Kata kunci: inkuiri, sikap ilmiah, hasil belajarAbstract: This research is motivated by the results of student learning which is still low and not based on the scientific attitude of the students in chemistry learning. The purpose of this study is to determine differences in the scientific attitude and learning outcomes among students that were taught using inquiry learning model and students that were taught without using inquiry learning model, as well as how to know the scientific attitude students in both classes. Samples were selected based on random sampling techniques. The form of the study was used a quasi-experiment (Quasi Exsperimental Design) with the design of the study is a "Non Randomize Control Group Pretest Posttest Design”. Data were collected using pretest, posttest, and scientific attitude observation sheet. the average percentage of scientific attitude taught using inquiry learning model was 77% which means strong whereas the average percentage of scientific attitude taught without inquiry learning model was 57.68% which means enough. Posttest data analysis and scientific attitude data analysis showed that there were differences of scientific attitudes and learning outcomes between students who were taught by using inquiry learning model and students who were taught without using the inquiry learning model. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan komponen nilai disiplin dalam menanggulangi siswa yang melakukan perilaku kenakalan di SMAN 5 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah 6 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai disiplin yang diterapkan oleh SMAN 5 Pontianak dilakukan dengan penerapan tiga komponen nilai disiplin yang dalam proses pelaksanaannya mencakup tindakan preventif dan represif dalam menanggulangi kenakalan siswa. Adapun komponen tersebut yaitu penerapan aturan sebagai upaya preventif dengan melakukan penyusunan tata tertib dan sosialisasi tata tertib melalui pembinaan wali kelas, MOS (Masa Orientasi Siswa), dan adanya tulisan maupun gambar tata tertib yang ditempelkan di setiap kelas. Penerapan hukuman sebagai upaya represif yang dilakukan dengan teguran, peringatan lisan dan tulisan (SP), skorsing, home visit dan pengembalian kepada orang tua. Serta Penerapan penghargaan yang diberikan pihak sekolah berupa kata-kata lisan seperti pujian, uplouse dan ucapan selamat, dan penghargaan berupa benda dalam bentuk sertifikat diberikan setiap akhir tahun pelajaran kepada siswa yang terpilih sebagai siswa disiplin. Kata kunci : Nilai Disiplin, Kenakalan Siswa Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of the value of discipline in tackling delinquency students in SMAN 5 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive qualitative data collection techniques are observation, interviews ,and documentation study. The informants are 6 people. The result of this research shows that the implementation of the value of the discipline imposed by SMAN 5 Pontianak done with the application of the three components in the implementation process includes preventive and repressive measures in tackling delinquency students. As for these components, namely the application of the rules as preventive efforts by conducting the preparation of discipline and socialization order through coaching homeroom, MOS (Student Orientation), and provide pictures of rules in the school an every classroom. The application of penalties as repressive efforts undertaken by reprimand, verbal and written warnings (SP), suspension, home visit and return to parents. As well as the adoption of the award is more often given the schools in the form of words of praise, applause and congratulations, and the award of the objects in the form of a certificate awarded each end of the school year to students chosen as student discipline. Keywords: Value Discipline, Student Delinquency

Abstract

  Abstract: This research aims to know whether the process of CSR can improve students’ reading comprehension on descriptive text to the Eleventh Grade Students of SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang. The research method used is a Classroom Action Research. The study sample is 35 students. Based on the analysis of  the  data, the mean score in the first cycle was 76,2 which was categorized as good and in the second cycle was 88 which was categorized as excellent. The result of the students’ mean score reached 99% of standard minimum score. It can be concluded that CSR can improve students’ reading comprehension on descriptive text.   Keywords: CSR, Reading Comprehension, Descriptive Text Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah proses CSR dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa pada teks deskriptif untuk siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah 35 siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data, nilai rata-rata pada siklus I adalah 76,2 yang dikategorikan baik dan pada siklus II adalah 88 yang dikategorikan sangat baik. Hasil nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 99% dari standar nilai minimum. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa CSR dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa pada teks deskriptif.   Kata Kunci: CSR, pemahaman membaca, teks deskriptif

Abstract

AbstractMathematical disposition and mathematical connections knowledge is part of mathematics learning objectives in Curriculum. Subjects in research is students of class XII AK SMK N 1 Kelam Permai. This pedagogical action research takes the subject of the study chosen purposively. The research used in this research is pedagogical action research. Two cycles with focus stage are taken into consideration in determining and planning the research, followed by look, think, and action. RPP compiled in this research is about the material sequence and arithmetic series. This RPP is prepared based on the Curriculum 2013 standard. Development of students' mathematical dispositions and connections can be done well. The initial mathematical disposition of students before using the discovery learning model is categorized as being. Early mathematical connection ability of students before using discovery learning model based on pre-test value is categorized as low. The learning process is done very well. Learning with the discovery learning model is possible to apply to schools implementing the 2013 curriculum. Learning with discovery learning model should be an alternative choice of teachers. Learning with the discovery learning model is not limited to arithmetic and sequence material only.Keywords:mathematical disposition, mathematical connections, discovery learning, mathematical knowledge.

Abstract

Abstract This is a qualitative research with descriptive method in purpose to acknowledge students' difficulty in solving word problems of linear program. The main aspect that will be explained in this research is the students' difficulty in solving linear program related problems based on students' learning style of eleventh grade in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The research subjects were six eleventh grade students in the class of XI IPS 4 to which they have different learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinestetic. The result showed that students with those three learning styles experienced difficulties in the stage of understanding the problem, creating mathematics model and executing the algorithm (steps). Beside that, there were some factors that affected students difficulty in solving the word problems of linear program: students didn't understandenough to this learning subject, students weren't seemingly thorough in study, the presenting of material was still not categorized as good, lacking of learning medias and the fact that students were easily disturbed by their classmates during the learning process. Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to examine whether or not Question Answer Relationship (QAR) strategy could affect students’ reading comprehension of narrative texts significantly. This research was a pre-experimental research. The sample of this research was 36 students of class X AK I that was selected by using cluster random sampling. The data were analyzed using non-parametric test in SPSS and the effect size formula. The result of the statistical calculation shows that Wilcoxon Signed-Rank was improved. The value of effect size was 1.5, greater than 0.80 (1.5 > 0.80) and it is categorized highly significant. The research findings show that teaching using Question Answer Relationship (QAR) strategy affected the students’ reading comprehension of narrative texts significantly. It was recommended to use QAR strategy to teach reading comprehension especially on narrative texts.Key words: Question Answer Relationship, Narrative Texts, Pre Experimental

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas I SD Negeri 50 Pontianak Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sedangkan bentuk penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 orang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan guru menyusun RPP pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi sebesar 0,68, kemampuan melaksanakan pembelajaran sebesar 0,85 dan peningkatan aktivitas belajar peserta didik sebesar 12,95%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas I Sekolah Dasar Negeri 50 Pontianak Barat.   Kata kunci : Aktivitas belajar, Metode demonstrasi Abstract: This research aims to enhancement of learning activities of learners in Indonetion Language learn in grade I SDN 50 West Pontianak. The research method that used in this research is a descriptive method. Whereas the form of research in this research is a action research. The study sample is 30 students. The research of data analysis showed that the enhancement of teacher to make a RPP in Indonetion Language learn with demonstration method by 0,68, teacher enhancement in teach by 0,85 and enhancement activity of learners by 12,95%. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran gerak melingkar beraturan berbantuan alat peraga Portable Board terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Jelimpo. Bentuk penelitian adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 27 siswa kelas XA sebagai kelas kontrol dan 27 siswa kelas XC sebagai kelas eksperimen. Data diperoleh menggunakan soal tes kognitif berbentuk esai dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik t-test pooled varians didahului analisis uji prasyarat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran gerak melingkar beraturan berbantuan alat peraga Portable Board berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Jelimpo dengan thitung = 2,7996 (taraf signifikansi 5%) dan harga effect size sebesar 0,33 (kategori sedang).   Kata kunci: alat peraga, gerak melingkar beraturan, Portable Board Abstract: The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of applying Portable Board aids in uniform circular motion at Senior High School −Jelimpo. The research method used was quasi experimental and the research design was pretest-posttest control group. The sample involved 27 students of XA (control group) and 27 students of XC (experimental group). The data was aquired by administering cognitive test and analyzed by t-test pooled varians. The result shows that Portable Board aids have a significant and positive effect on students’ learning result (tcalculate = 2,7996 ;significance 5%) and medium effect size score (0,33).   Keywords: aids, uniform circular motion, Portable Board

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this study are to find out (1) the implementation of accepting among students, (2) the implementation of respecting among students, (3) the implementation of appreciating among students in Putra Kayong II Dormitory. The data analysis in this study was presented in descriptive qualitative research by using four informants, consists of one chief and three residents of the dormitory who came from different ethnic. The technique of data collection in this study is conducted through observation, interview and documentation, while the tools of data collection being used are observation checklist, interview guideline and documentation tool. The results of this study prove that in Putra Kayong II Dormitory in terms of (1) Accepting new students, advice, and sharing also hanging out with anyone openly without exception, no discrimination, no arrogance, not offensive and unselfish. (2) Respecting each other students despite their different belief and ethnic respectfully, without prejudice, without reproach, and without discrimination. (3) Respecting opinions, critic and collective decision is accepted gracefully, without reproach, without emotional and acting wise in response. Keywords: Accepting, Appreciating, Respecting, Social Tolerance.
