Abstract

AbstractThe Information service is a series of activities in order to provide assistance to students by providing information that can be used to make a further education plan. Therefore, the researcher wanted to know more about the information service by the guidance and counseling teacher on the development of adolescent social in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. The problem of this research is "What is the information service by the tutor teacher about the social development of adolescents in class VII SMP Negeri Pontianak?". This study generally aims to obtain a benchmark for information services by the mentor teacher about the social development of adolescents in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak?. The method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach namely problem solving procedures by describing the relationship of information services with social development of adolescents in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. Statistically and descriptively explained. The sample in this study were 89 students of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. Data collection techniques in this study are direct communication techniques and indirect communication techniques. Data collection tools in this study were questionnaires, and teacher counselor interviews. Based on the results of data analysis showed that the information service about social development of adolescent students of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak reached 57.11%, the achievement was in the "less" range. Keywords: information services, adolescent social development.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dukungan orang tua terhadap anak mereka dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Subjek penelitian ini adalah orang tua kelas 5 A di SD Negeri 09 Sungai Raya Kab. Kubu Raya. Dalam peneltian ini, penulis menggunakan metode case study. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 22 orang tua siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukan masing-masing orang tua memberikan dukungan dengan intensitas berbeda. Dukungan yang paling tinggi diberikan pada aspek psikologi ekonomi, dan terendah pada lingkungan rumah. Skor yang ditemukan pada psikologi adalah 364, ekonomi 333 dan pada lingkungan rumah 307. Setiap aspek memiliki kategori dukungan yang cukup sering dilakukan. Dukungan orang tua memiliki dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Dukungan orang tua, aspek dukungan. Abstract: This research aims to find out how the parental supports to their children in learning English. The subject of this research was the students parents of Year 5 Class A in SD Negeri 09 Sungai Raya Kab. Kubu Raya. This research was a case study. The study participants were 22 parents. The result showed that parents gave supports differently. The most supports given by parents are in psychology aspect, economy, and home environment. The score of psychology was 364, economy 333, and home environment 307. Parental supports have positive effect to students achievement. Keywords: Parental supports, aspects of support.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyajikan penilaian terhadap materi membaca pada buku teks untuk kelas sebelas semester pertamadengan judul Look Ahead 2 berdasarkan pada nilai-nilai pembangunan karakter yang disediakan oleh Kementrian Pendidikan Indonesia.Data pada penelitian ini adalah materi membaca yang berasala dari unit 1 sampai unit 3 dalam buku teks yang berjudul Look Ahead 2. Alat pengumpul data adalah checklist criterion preferences dan unstructured interview. Teknik penelaahan data adalah penelaahan data kualiatatif dengan menggunakan metode telaah dokumen. Kriteria-kriteria peneilaian adalah berdasarkan pada kriteria pendidikan karakter oleh Kementrian Pendidikan Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelaahan data, terdapat beberapa nilai pendidikan karakter pada materi membaca tersebut. Diantaranya adalah peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, rasa tanggung jawab, cinta membaca, kejujuran, rasa ingin tahu, dan kedisiplinan. Hanya ada satu teks yang tidak mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yaitu di unit II berjudul The Black Cat. Kata Kunci: Pembangunan Karakter, Materi Membaca, and Buku Teks Abstract: This article presents the evaluation of reading materials for first semester of eleventh grade senior high school textbook entitled Look Ahead 2 based on characters building values promoted by Indonesia Ministry of Education. The data of this research are reading materials taken from unit 1 until unit 3 in the textbook entitled Look Ahead 2. Tools of data gatherings were checklist criterion preferences and unstructured interview. The technique of data analysis was qualitative data analysis by using document analysis method. The criteria were based on the characters building criteria by Indonesia Ministry of Education. Based on the data analysis, there are values of character building contained in the reading materials. They are environmental respect, social respect, responsibility, love reading, honesty, curiosity, and self-discipline. There is only one text that did not contain character building value in unit II The Black Cat. Keywords: Characters Building, Reading materials, and Textbook

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi prinsip bahwa sebuah teks merupakan mutasi dari teks lain. Gelang Giok Naga (GGN) diasumsikan merupakan hipogram atau latar terbentuknya teks transformasi Bonsai, Hikayat Satu Keluarga Cina Benteng (BHSKCB). Berdasarkan uraian di atas, rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana hubungan intertekstulitas antara teks GGN dan teks BHSKCB melalui bentuk transformasi afirmasi (pengukuhan) dan negasi (penolakan), pemaknaannya, serta implementasi pembelajarannya di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Pendekatan penelitiannya adalah pendekatan intertekstual. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini novel GGN sebagai teks hipogram dan novel BHSKCB sebagai teks transformasinya. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini: 1) bentuk afirmasi  meliputi simbol tipikal, tema, dan plot; 2) bentuk negasi meliputi unsur penokohan. Makna intertekstual dari penelitian ini antara lain pergantian, penyempitan, peninjauan ulang, repetisi, perluasan, close up, dan oposisi. Adapun implementasi pembelajaraannya adalah materi intertekstual antara teks GGN dan teks BHSKCB dapat diajarkan pada siswa kelas XII semester 2 pada materi menulis kritik dan esai sastra. Kata kunci: intertekstual, teks, transformasi, afirmasi, negasi   Abstract: This research is motivated by a principle that a text is a mutation of another text. Gelang Giok Naga (GGN) is assumed as a hipogram or background text that giving a transformation form of Bonsai, Hikayat Satu Keluarga Cina Benteng (BHSKCB). Based on the statement above, the formulation of the problem of this research is how the relation intertextuality between GGN and BHSKCB through transformation form of affirmation (inaugural) and negation (rejection), the meanings, and the implementation of learning in school. The method used is descriptive and qualitative form. The research approach is intertextual.The Source of data in this research are GGN as hipogram text and BHSKCB as transformation text.The results of data analysis on this research: 1) the affirmation forms include  typical symbols, themes, and plot; 2) the negation forms includes characterization elements. Intertextual meanings of this research includes a turning, a narrowing, review, repetition, expansion, closing up, and the opposition. The implementation to the learning is intertextual material between GGN and BHSKCB can be taught to students on XII semester 2 by write literary criticism and essays. Abstract

Abstrak: Meta-analisis ini bertujuan untuk merangkum hasil penelitian tentang pengaruh cooperative learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa sehingga dapat diketahui: besar effect size (ES) rata-rata, tipe cooperative learning yang mempunyai effect size (ES) paling besar dan konsisten dan hubungan antar variabel terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian survei. Jumlah hasil penelitian yang dirangkum adalah 22 skripsi mahasiswa pendidikan matematika FKIP Untan. Hasil analisis data menghasilkan bahwa sebesar 0,900 (berkontribusi sebesar 31,59%). Tipe cooperative learning yang menghasilkan pengaruh paling besar dan konsisten adalah Think Pair Share ( = 0,898, berkontribusi sebesar 31,33%). Dari hubungan antar variabel diperoleh bahwa pengaruh cooperative learning dalam peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang terbaik adalah penerapannya pada pembelajaran geometri dengan berbantuan LKS dan penggunaan pendekatan struktural di sekolah menengah atas. Kata kunci:Meta-analisis, Cooperative learning, Hasil belajar matematika Abstract: This meta-analysis aims to summarize the results of studies on the effects of cooperative learning in increasing students' mathematics learning outcomes that can be known: average of the effect size ( ), type of cooperative learning with the largest and most consistent effect size (ES) and relationships among the variables in increasing mathematics learning outcomes. The method of this research is descriptive research survey. The number of research results are summarized is 22 thesis of mathematics education students of FKIP Untan. The results of the data analysis yields that at 0.900 (contributed at 31.59%). Type of cooperative learning that generates the greatest and consistent influence is Think Pair Share ( = 0.898, contributed at 31.33%). Of the relationship between variables was obtained that the best influence of cooperative learning in increasing students' mathematics learning outcomes is its application to the study of geometry with the use of assisted LKS and structural approaches in high school Keywords : Meta-analysis, Cooperative learning, Mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisiskemampuan berbicara melalui metode bernyanyi di PAUD Terpadu Pontianak Barat Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif.Subjek penelitiannya adalahanak Kelompok Bermain (KB) yang berjumlah 17 anak dan 2 orang guru.Alat pengumpuldata berupa: wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kualitatif yang meliputi:data collection, data reduction, display data, dan conclusion drawing/verification.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbicara anak Kelompok Bermain PAUD TerpaduPontianak Barat dapat dikembangkan melalui metode bernyanyi. Penggunaan metode bernyanyi ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak dalam hal mengulang kembali lirik lagu yang didengar, melafalkan lirik lagu yang telah didengar, dan menjawab pertanyaan sederhana mengenai lirik lagu yang didengar.Pada akhir penelitian terdapat 90% anak sudah dapat mengulang kembali lirik lagu bendera, 65% anak sudah dapat melafalkan lirik lagu bendera, dan 71% anak dapat menjawab pertanyaan sederhana seputar lirik lagu bendera. Kata Kunci:Kemampuan Berbicara, Metode Bernyanyi, Anak Usia Dini Abstract:This study aims to analyze the ability to speak through the method of singing in PAUD Integrated Pontianak West West Kalimantan Province. The method used is qualitative research method. Research subjects are children Play Groups (KB), amounting to 17 children and 2 teachers. Data collection tools are: interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this study using qualitative data analysis which includes: data collection, data reduction, display data, and conclusion drawing / verification. The results showed that the speaking ability of children of PAUD Playing Group of West Pontianak can be developed through the method of singing. The use of this singing method can improve children's speaking skills in terms of repeating the lyrics of the song being heard, pronouncing the lyrics of an already heard song, and answering simple questions about the lyrics of the song being heard. At the end of the study 90% of children were able to repeat the song lyrics, 65% of children were able to pronounce the lyrics of the flag, and 71% of the children could answer simple questions about the lyrics of the flag. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil dan retensi belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan multimedia berbasis Mind Mapping dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan multimedia berbasis Mind Mapping pada materi hidrokarbon dan besarnya pengaruh penggunaan multimedia berbasis Mind Mapping terhadap hasil dan retensi belajar siswa pada materi hidrokarbon. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Non Randomize Control Group Pretest Postest Design with Retention Test. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji U-Man Whitney dan uji t. Hasil data menunjukan terdapat perbedaan hasil dan retensi belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan multimedia berbasis Mind Mapping dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan multimedia berbasis Mind Mapping. Pembelajaran dengan multimedia berbasis Mind Mapping memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 33,89%, retensi belajar selama 1 minggu sebesar 44,95%, dan retensi belajar selama 2 minggu sebesar 40,15%. Kata kunci: multimedia, mind mapping, hasil, retensi Abstract: Aims of this research was to determine the differences of learning outcomes and learning retentions between students who were taught by using Mind Mapping multimedia and students who were taught without using Mind Mapping multimedia and the influence of using Mind Mapping multimedia to the learning outcomes and learning retentions. The method of this research was quasi-experiment and the design of research was Non Randomize Control Group Pretest Postest Design with Retention Test. Data was analyzed using U-Man Whitney test and t-test. The result showed there were differences of learning outcomes and learning retention between students who were taught by using Mind Mapping multimedia and students who were taught without Mind Mapping multimedia. The use of Mind Mapping multimedia gave the influence to the improvement of learning outcomes was 33,89%, learning retention for one week was 44,95% and learning retention for two weeks was 40,15%. Abstract

Abstract: The present research is about analysis on ungrammatical constructions encountered in the texts written by Senior High School students. The objective of the study is to describe the ungrammatical constructions in clauses and phrases. The method of research is descriptive. The research participants were 28 students of Year-XI of “SMAN 1 Nanga MerakaiSintang” in Academic Year 2013/2014. The data were collected from corpus written by the students. The students were still weak at writing texts. The grammatical constructions were 19 (13.77%) and 119 (86.23%) not. The grammatical problems concern the phrasal and the clausal construction. That was 55.47% of the ungrammatical phrases have been made by the students. The other 44.53% ungrammatical constructions were at clauses.  There was 53% of interlingual problem made by the students. The errors were Omission of “to be”, Noun phrase and Preposition phrase and 47% of intralingual errors. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan konstruksi gramatikal dalam klausa dan frasa.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Partisipandalam penelitian iniadalah 28 siswa dari tahun-XI SMAN 1 Nanga Merakai Sintang Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Data dikumpulkan dari corpus yang ditulis oleh siswa. Konstruksi gramatikal sebanyak19 (13,77%) dan sedangkan119 (86,23%)tidakgramatikal. Masalah tata bahasa terfokuspadaphrasadan penulisanklausa.Di tingkat phrasa, masalah tata bahasa berkaitan dengan urutan phrasa kepala dan pengubahnya. Sebanyak55,47% kesalahanditingkatfrasa. Sebanyak44.53% konstruksi gramatikal lainnya berada di klausa.misalnayapenghilangan "to be", kecocokanSubjekdan kata kerja dan penghilangan Subyek. Masalah-masalah tata bahasa disebabkan oleh pengaruhbahasaibu dan masalahkesulitandalambahasa yang dipelajari. Ada 53% masalah yang dihadapisiswadalammenulisadalahkarenapengaruhbahasaibu. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out, describe, and analyze the factors of student learning difficulties in PPKn SMAN 05 Pontianak subjects. This research uses descriptive method with the typoo of research is descriptive research. The research instrument is the researcher himself. Sources of data for school principals, PPKn subjects, and students of class X IPS 2 of SMAN 05 Pontianak. Data collection techniques in this study are direct observation technique, interview, and documentation. Data collection procedures based on the presence of researchers using the five senses and perceptions. Data analysis technique is a qualitative approach, and while the data validity testing technique is using triangulation techniques, sources, and time. The study found that the description/conditions of student learning difficulties in class X IPS 2, namely: learning disorder, learning disabilities, learning disabilities, underachievement, and slow learning. Internal factors of student learning difficulties, namely: health, intelligence, feelings and self-confidence, motivation and interests, individual differences, and the ability to remember. Then the external factors of student learning difficulties inculude: teachers who pay less attention to students, inadequate learning facilities, lack of attention from parents, and friends who get along which leads to negative directions.and the efforts made by the teacher provide remedial, use varied methods and provide motivation. It can be concluded that many students who have difficulty learning PPKn in class X IPS 2.Keywords: Learning Difficulties, Civic Education, SMA Negeri 05 Pontianak.

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi objektif tentang upaya kepala madrasah sebagai pemimpin yang meliputi: kepribadian kepala sekolah; upaya kepala sekolah memahami kondisi guru, karyawan, dan siswa; kemampuan kepala sekolah membuat visi, misi dan tujuan sekolah serta pengembangannya; kemampuan kepala sekolah dalam mengambil keputusan; serta kemampuan kepala sekolah dalam menggunakan komunikasi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja akademik guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Al-Ma’arif Belonsat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan bentuk studi kasus. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu: Kepala Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Al-Ma’arif Belonsat sebagai informan kunci yang didukung sumber lainnya, yakni guru-guru MIS Al-Ma’arif Belonsat. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini melalui tahapan reduksi data, display data, interpretasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi.   Kata Kunci: Kepala Sekolah, Kepemimpinan, Kinerja Akademik Abstract : The purpose of the research was to obtain the objective information about the efforts of the principal as a leader that include: personality of the principal; the principal's efforts to understand, the condition of the teachers, the staffs, and the students; the ability of the principal in making the vision, the mission and the objective as well as its development; the ability of the principal to make decision; and the ability of the principal to use an effective communication in improving the academic performance of the teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIS) Al- Ma'arif Belonsat. This research uses a qualitative approach in the form of case study. The source of the data in this study are: Head of Private School of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIS) Al-Maarif  Belonsat as key informant and supported with other sources, namely the teachers of Private school of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIS) Al-Ma’arif Belonsat. The technique of collecting data through interviews, observation, and study documentation. Techniques in this study through the stages of data reduction, data display, data interpretation, and conclusion/verification. Keywords : Head of School, Leadership, Academic Performance
