Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that cause online game addiction, the consequences, and strategies for handling cases among students at Nurul Islam Middle School, Kubu Raya. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, using a case study research design. The case subjects consisted of two people, RA and MU. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The alternative given to the two case subjects was the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) counseling model; cognitive discord techniques, emotion regulation, behavioral techniques and directive counseling. The subject of Case I, the factors are boredom, limited social interaction, enjoyment of playing, financial gain, and enjoyment of playing online games. The impact is decreased achievement, lack of focus in studying, social isolation, health problems, falling asleep in class, neglecting assignments, and being late for school. As a result of treatment, Case Subject I demonstrated improvements in time management for positive activities, desire to break away from gaming addiction, willingness to socialize, increased focus on studies, and improved overall well-being. In Case Subject II, factors include trying games because of the family environment, boredom, seeking attention, and rationalizing excessive gaming as a form of self-esteem. The impact is decreased academic achievement, neglected assignments, health problems, and lack of focus on learning. After being accompanied, Subject II demonstrated the ability to appreciate and utilize time, understand that excessive gaming is detrimental, not neglect tasks, increase focus on learning, and manage the internet wisely

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the development of religious character by teachers in children aged 5-6 years through habituation in PAUD Ceria Kubu Raya. The research method is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The research subjects were teachers in group A, children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Ceria Kubu Raya. The research location for Ceria Kubu Raya PAUD. Data collection techniques in research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study that; 1. Planning for the development of religious character by teachers for children aged 5-6 years through habituation is to formulate goals and formulate standard operating procedures adapted to the indicators of achievement of children's development 2. Steps of habituation in developing the religious character of teachers have been carried out in accordance with the following steps: the steps listed in the SOP, 3. Evaluation of the development of the religious character of the teacher making an assessment when the activity process takes place where the teacher observes each other's activities, 4. The obstacles faced by the teacher in developing the religious character of the child are from the child's family factor, 5. The efforts made by the teacher to overcome these obstacles is to always remind and motivate children.Keywords: Development, Religious Character And Habituation

Abstract

The facilities and infrastructure of Islamic boarding schools are crucial aspects that need attention. This is because they influence the learning process and the comfort of students residing in the boarding schools. Comfort in teaching and learning activities greatly affects the success of the educational process in Islamic boarding schools. This research employs a library research approach. The data collection technique used involves seeking information on relevant variables such as records, books, papers, articles, journals, and so on. The research results indicate that, from an Islamic perspective, management refers to the concept of regulation as commanded by Allah in the Qur'an. The concept of facilities and infrastructure management in Islamic boarding schools from an Islamic perspective is clarified through explanations about the processes of planning, procurement, distribution, maintenance, inventory, and disposal of facilities and infrastructure in Islamic boarding schools. This article also discusses the Islamic view on the importance of managing the facilities and infrastructure of Islamic boarding schools, as depicted in the Qur'an and Hadith. Therefore, Islamic boarding schools must pay attention to these aspects, especially with the existence of the Education Management Information System (EMIS), which is useful for managing data on students, teachers, and facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to increase the success of students in carrying out physical activities or called physical literacy by learning traditional games for students. This study uses descriptive quantitative analysis with experimental research methods and this research design uses a one group pre-test-post-test design.The subjects of this study were students.Data collection using a questionnaire.The data analysis technique used t-test analysis, through the prerequisite tests for normality and homogeneity.The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test get a t-count of 3.702 which is greater than the t-table of 1.699 (3.702 > 1.699), so there is a significant difference between the data before and after being given treatment. The increase in the average was evident because there was an increase of 8 from 54.00 to 62.00. If described as a percentage, the increase is 14.81%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of traditional games on the physical literacy of the students.Keywords: Physical Literacy, Traditional Games

Abstract

This study aims to classify data obtained from the field, conduct an inventory of data in the form of terms, lexical meanings, grammatical meanings, and cultural meanings, as well as produce supplementary forms of Indonesian learning texts based on the terminology of the Bepapas tradition for the people in Matang Segarau village, Tekarang sub-district, Sambas district. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative form. The data source in this study is the Sambas Malay community whose address is in Matang Segarau Village. Data collection techniques namely interview techniques, recording, notes, and documentation. The technique of testing the validity of the data is the technique of increasing the persistence and adequacy of references. This research produced 24 terminology data for the Bepapas tradition for the community in Matang Segarau village, Tekarang sub-district, Sambas district with details of 24 terminologies in the form of form data including 8 monomorphemic form data and 16 polymorphemic data; 24 lexical meaning data includes 11 tool and material terminology data, 5 food terminology data, and 8 process terminology data; 9 grammatical meaning data; and 10 cultural meaning data including terminology of tools and materials, food, and processes. The form of Indonesian language learning text based on the terminology of the Bepapas tradition for the community in Matang Segarau village, Tekarang sub-district, Sambas district, produces descriptive data and procedure text.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the achievement motivation of Class XI students of the Pontianak Cooperative Health Vocational School. The general problem of this research is how is the achievement motivation of Class XI students of the Pontianak Cooperative Health Vocational School? The sub-problems are (1) What are the characteristics of achievement motivation of class XI students of Pontianak Health Vocational School? (2) What are the achievement motivation factors for class XI students of the Pontianak Cooperative Health Vocational School? (3) How are the BK teachers' efforts in increasing the achievement motivation of class XI students of the Pontianak Cooperative Health Vocational School? The general purpose of this study was to describe the achievement motivation of class XI students at SMK Kesehatan Cooperative Pontianak. This research method is a descriptive method with a form of research that is survey research. The research subjects were students of class XI with a population of 37 students. Techniques and data collection tools used in this study were indirect communication and questionnaires. Based on the results of data analysis on the characteristics of achievement motivation of students in class XI of Cooperative Health Vocational School, Pontianak as a whole reached 79%, meaning that it was in the "High" category regarding the factors that affect achievement motivation of students of class XI of Pontianak Cooperative Health Vocational School as a whole reachingKeywords : Analisis, Motivasi Prestasi

Abstract

The background of this research is there are two versions that tell about the history of Topeng Natuna Dance which is a traditional dance in Tanjung village, Bunguran Timur Laut Sub-district. This research aims to describe the history of Topeng Natuna Dance, Bunguran Timur Laut Sub-district, Natuna Regency. This research used descriptive qualitative method and it also used historical approach. The techniques of data collection used in this research is interview technique and documentation study technique. Based on the result of this study, the history of Topeng Natuna Dance is close to the first version, namely, Topeng Natuna Dance is original from Tanjung Village, Bunguran Timur Laut Sub-district, Natuna Regency. Based on the mythology, this dance existed before there was religion in society. The mask was used because a group of Topeng Natuna Dance were ashamed of being ordinary people who were invited by the King to come to his residence. This was to treat her daugher who was sick and she needed an entertaiment. Therefore, the dance group came to entertain the princess. Based on the mythology, this dance is become an entertaiment for Natuna citizen. Topeng Natuna Dance has three kinds of movements, such as, hand movement and the movement which use plate and shawl. The various movements and properties that used are an important of the historical mythology, because it is believed can help the princess to wake up from her fainting.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out about the mythical folklore contained in the life of the Mempawah Malay community by describing them. This research also discusses the pragmatic studies contained in the speech. This research is in the form of qualitative research with descriptive methods. Sources of data in this study are speeches from informants with data in the form of stories of myths that exist in Mempawah's Malay community. Based on the results of data analysis, there are three forms of myth, namely the myth of abstinence, myth of origin and myth of animals. as well as the utterances contained in the mythical storytelling, three utterances are found, namely speech of locus, illocutionary, and perlocution. In the myth of abstinence, there are 37 stories, 6 origin myths, and 11 animal myths. With the pragmatic study contained in the speech, there are 9 locusive speeches, 20 illocutionary speeches, and 24 locus speeches. The implementation plan of learning the results of this research is combined with Indonesian language learning in class VII odd semesters with KD 3.3 to identify the elements of the narrative text. 4.3 retelling the contents of the narrative text.Keywords, Myths, Pragmatic Studies, Mempawah Malay Community

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of the six characteristics of romanticism in the novel Geez & Ann 1 and 2 by Rintik Sedu. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The approach used in this research is an objective approach. Sources of data in this study.Namely in the form of documents in the form of a novel. The novels used are Gezz & Ann novels 1 and 2 by Rintik Sedu. The technique used in this research is a documentary study technique. The tools used in this study were writing instruments and laptops. The results of this study indicate that romanticism includes a return to nature, moodiness or melancholy, primitivism, sentimentalism, individualism, and exoticism. The materials researcher designed a lesson plan that used the novels Geez & Ann 1 and 2 by Rintik Sedu as a special lesson to achieve KD 3.9 and 4.9 for grade VII SMP.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to develop an instructional module of problem solving using pictorial representation heuristics for mathematics achievement of fifth grade students on the topic of fraction and proportion. The respondents were 39 fifth grade students from 2 classes of Tunas Bangsa Primary School, Kubu Raya Regency. The research method used the model of Borg and Gall. Data were collected by using questionnaires, validity sheets, survey and observation sheets by using Google Forms. The data gathered from questionaires and surveys were analyzed by counting the average of every aspect and then compared it to the suitable criteria and then were presented by using qualitative desciptive method. Pretest and post-test data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics by calculating the t-value for paired samples and the Cohen’s d effect size by using SPSS 22. The result was t= -11.602. It means that there is highly significant difference between instruction facilitated before the module was given and after it. The effect size obtained was 1.858 which means the instruction using the module has high power on improvement of learning outcome. In conclusion, this modul is qualified to be used.Keywords: Module, Heuristics, Problem Solving
