Abstract

At this time, Mandarin has been widely studied in various circles, bothchildren and adults. At the education level, Mandarin is also used as acompulsory subject at school. In learning Mandarin there are severalthings that must be mastered by students, such as reading, memorizingvocabulary and using vocabulary in the form of correct Mandarinsentences. However, there are several problems faced by students inlearning Mandarin which are caused by various factors, both internaland external. To improve skills in learning Mandarin, the author usesdemonstration methods in class X SMK 8 Pontianak.To understand the ability of class X students of SMK 8 Pontianak inmastering Chinese vocabulary, the writer uses demonstration methodsto improve students' memory skills in memorizing Chinesevocabulary. The research method used is divided into pre-test andpost-test. This research was conducted from 2 February 2021 to 23March 2021. Based on the pre-test results, it showed that the averagescore was 43.75. After doing research, the average of the post-testshows that the average score is 89.06. This proves that after doing thedemonstration method can improve students' Chinese language skills,can remember Chinese verbs, can also use verbs correctly.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated to describe a complete data and information about the Tari Jepin Tali Bintang. The reason the researchers studied the Jepin Tali Bintang dance was because of the uniqueness of this dance. The uniqueness lies in the process of weaving the rope, in which the weaving process produces several patterns and forms a binding bond, and the process of opening the rope is used a faster tempo than when weaving the rope. In this study, the method used is descriptive analysis, the form used is a qualitative form, the approach used is a semiotic approach. The the respondent in this research were artist knew about the Jepin dance The meaning of “Tari Jepin Tali Bintang” the tie pattern the village of Kalimas Kakap river district Kuburaya district. The data in this research collected by the several techniques such as observations, interviews and documentation studies. The data validity testing technique used was the extension of the observation and triangulation. Based on the analysis of the data it was concluded that there are three bond patterns, tie knot pattern, cross tie pattern, earth loop tie pattern. Abstract

This study aims to describe the terminology in the Temu Manten procession in the Javanese community in Parit Keladi Village, Sungai Kakap District. The problem of this research is the form of terminology, lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, cultural meaning and the implementation of terminology in the Temu Manten procession in the Javanese community in Parit Keladi Village, Sungai Kakap District on learning at school. This research uses descriptive method in the form of qualitative. Data collection techniques, namely, observation, interview, note and record. This study resulted in 53 linguistic data in the Temu Manten procession in the Javanese community in Parit Keladi Village, Sungai Kakap District which consisted of the term tool containing 9 data, the term material 27 data, the term cultural object 2 data, the term actor 8 data, and the term procession 7 data. . The form of terminology in the form of monomorphism contained 26 data, reduplication contained 2 data, and phrases contained 25 data. The meaning contained in the term temu manten procession in the Javanese community in Parit Keladi Village, Sungai Kakap District, is based on the lexical meaning of 39 data, the grammatical meaning of 23 data and the cultural meaning of 47 data. The form of the Indonesian language learning text based on the terminology in the Temu Manten procession in the Javanese community in Parit Keladi Village, Sungai Kakap District is a descriptive text.

Abstract

AbstractNew student admission with zoning is the process of accepting new students with predetermined qualifications using the residential zone from school to house. This study aims to determine the process of registration and acceptance of PPDB with the zoning system in SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang. This research uses a qualitative approach and type of case study research. The subjects in this study were the principal, the vice principal for student affairs, and the head of the PPDB committee. Data collection procedures, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The findings from the results of this study are: (1) Student recruitment with a zoning system is a PPDB system that is seen based on the distance between the prospective students' residence and the school, not based on the UN score. (2) Selection is a process carried out to recruit students according to the rules to be accepted in school. (3) Placement is a follow-up to the results of the selection process to be accepted into a school and does not have specific criteria for placement. (4) Evaluation is an assessment process so that the PPDB acceptance process in the future can run better. (5) PPDB constraints can cause the PPDB acceptance process to not be carried out properly. The conclusions from the research results are: Acceptance of the PPDB zoning system using zones makes it easier for parents to register their children because of the close distance between school and home. Abstract

The study aims to find intrinsic and extrinsic laearners’ motives in the post online study of the X AKL 3 class of spreadsheet lessons at SMKN 1 Pontianak. The research methods used are descriptive with qualitative forms of research. The source of this research data is the X AKL 3 class learner and his data consist of interviews with the spreadsheet tuition teacher and the X AKL 3 learner. Research shows the motivation for learning to be student at (1) the desire and the desire to succed the student is pretty good (2) the needs and encouragement in learning are well defined (3) hopes and ideals are categorized as good. The student’s extrinsic motivation on (1) the award learning is categorized quite well (2) the interesting activity of learning is categorized quite well (3) conducive learning is categorized quite well.

Abstract

AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact for Indonesia, including the education sector. Teaching and learning activities are using online methods. One of the learning media that can help in the distance learning process is documentary films. The subject matter that can be realized through documentary films is environmental pollution which contains SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, Society) components. This study aims to determine the feasibility level of media and documentary film based on SETS. The form of this research is research and development (R&D) with reference to the ADDIE model which is modified into ADD namely Analysis, Design, and Development. The subject of this research is SETS-based documentary. The data collection instrument used is a media and material feasibility assessment sheet. The results showed the percentage of 94.5% on the feasibility of the media and 97.6% on the feasibility of the material in the very feasible category. In conclusion, this SETSbased documentary is very suitable to be used as a learning medium on environmental pollution material.Keywords: Documentary Film, Environmental Pollution, SETS.

Abstract

In building a golden generation equipped with 21st century skills, Basic Literacy is one of the activities in strengthening character education based on school culture. Reading and writing are two different literacy activities, but they are closely related and inseparable. This study aims to determine the strengthening of school culture-based character education through the basic literacy program at the 37 Southeast Pontianak State Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative approach. The location of this research was carried out at SDN 37 Southeast Pontianak. In this study to obtain primary data by directly interviewing and observing principals, teachers and students. The secondary data in this study were the PPK guide book at SDN 37 Southeast Pontianak, RPP, Curriculum, Vision and Mission of the school. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation data collection. The analytical technique that will be used in this research is an interactive model data analysis according to Miles & Huberman. The technique used to track credibility in this study uses triangulation techniques. The results of this study are the evaluation of learning strengthening character education through basic literacy programs for teachers in grades 1 and IV is carried out through authentic assessments, which include process assessments and assessments of learning outcomes. Process assessment is carried out during the learning process both inside and outside the classroom. While the assessment of learning outcomes is carried out after carrying out the learning process. There are two ways of character assessment carried out in this basic literacy-based KDP school, namely through observation and portfolios.Keywords: Character Building, School Culture, Basic Literature Program

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to decide the teacher's competencies in the use of media in the thematic learning of class V SD Negeri 31 West Pontianak. The sub-problem in this study is how is the teacher's method in the usage of media in the thematic learning of class V SD Negeri 31 West Pontianak? and What are the problems confronted via instructors in using media in the thematic learning of category V SD Negeri 31 West Pontianak?. While the technique used is descriptive. The supply of the facts in this learn about was once the fifth grade instructor at SD Negeri 31 West Pontianak. Data collection tools in this study were commentary and interviews. Data analysis in this lookup is using an interactive model with the ranges of statistics reduction, statistics display and the system of drawing conclusions. Abstract

ABSTRAKThe Effect of Kahoot-Based Learning Evaluation on Interest and Thematic Learning Outcomes of Students at Al Mumtaz Elementary School Pontianak aims to knowing the effect of kahoot on student interest and student learning outcomes as kahoot have the characteristics of presenting questions into the kahoot application by using internet facilities that can be accessed by using students' mobile phones to answer quizzes presented by the teacher. This research is a quantitative research with experimental method with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design technique. The data collection instrument in this study was using questionnaires and tests. The population of this study was the fourth grade of AlMumtaz elementary school which consisted of grades A and B. The sample in this study amounted to 30 students for the experimental class and 30 students for the control class who were taken using the sampling techniques. The results of this study are (1) learning using Kahoot produces good interest in learning where before being given Kahoot the average percentage of students' early learning interest is 61.93%, after being given Kahoot the average percentage of student interest in learning increased to 72.72%, (2) learning by using Kahoot showed a good improvement in student learning outcomes by comparing the results of the pre-test experimental class getting an average percentage of 61% before being given Kahoot and after using kahoot post-test results of the experimental class increased by an average percentage of 82% from the previous study results so it can be concluded that the evaluation of kahoot-based learning has a significant effect on student interest and learning outcomes at Al-Mumtaz Elementary School.Keywords: Learning Evaluation, Kahoot, Interest to Learn, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tidak hanya memerlukan kemampuan literasi saja, namun juga kemampuan memahami sastra. Menurunnya kesadaran peserta didik dalam membaca, menulis, dan keterampilan sastra seringkali menjadi penyebab rendahnya nilai pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, terutama dalam menemukan unsur intrinsik. Peserta didik yang mempelajari mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia harus mempertimbangkan tidak hanya kemampuan literasinya tetapi juga kemampuan sastranya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan media booklet terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca dan menemukan unsur intrinsik cerita pendek. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 4 Teriak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni metode pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Sampel yang diambil adalah peserta didik yang berjumlah 39 peserta didik, terdiri dari 20 orang putri dan 19 orang putra kelas IX A SMPN 4 Teriak. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa penggunaan media booklet memberikan pengaruh yang sangat signifikan pada kemampuan literasi membaca dan menemukan unsur intrinsik cerita pendek peserta didik di kelas IX SMPN 4 Teriak. Hal ini terlihat pada hasil penelitian dimana sebelum diberikan perlakuan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh peserta didik adalah 61,51 dengan nilai tertinggi 65 dan nilai terendah 57. Setelah diberikan perlakuan pada siklus I nilai rata-rata berubah menjadi 85,85 dengan nilai tertinggi 95 dan nilai terendah 61. Kemudian diberikan lagi perlakuan pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan lagi dengan nilai rata-rata adalah 91,03 dimana nilai tertinggi 100 dan nilai terendah 75. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media booklet sangat berpengaruh pada kemampuan literasi membaca dan menemukan unsur intrinsik cerita pendek. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut, diharapkan guru dapat menggunakan media booklet ini pada proses pembelajaran karena media booklet ini membuat peserta didik semakin tertarik dalam melaksanakan literasi membaca dan memberikan kemudahan bagi peserta didik memahami materi.
