Abstract

Abstract                                                                                                                                The aim of this study was to describe psychomotor skill of students in acid-base titration practicum. The subjects of this study were students of  class XI IPA 1 in academic year 2017/2018 consisting of 40 students. The form of this research was a descriptive study. The data were collected through direct observation and direct communication technique. The research procedure consists of the preparation, implementation and final stages. Preparation stage consist of direct observation, problem identification, problem formulation, proposal preparation, designing research instruments in the form of practicum observation sheets and LKS, instrument validation, and instrument revisions. Implementation stage consist of acid-base titration practicum and psychomotor skills assessment. Final stage consist of calculating the total psychomotor skills score of students, changing the score into the expected percentage, determining the category of students psychomotor skills, conducting interviews to find students problems during the practicum, describing students psychomotor skills. Based on the results of psychomotor analysis in acid-base titration practicum, the average psychomotor skills of students were 85.6% which was categorized as very good.  Keywords: Psychomotor skills, titration, acid-base

Abstract

 AbstractThis research aimed to know the response of students to comic learning media on ecology material in class X SMA. The research method apply in this research is descriptive research. The descriptive research used in this research is the survey. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The subject of this study is 130 students of grade X SMA from four senior high schools in Pontianak. The research instrument used is a closed questionnaire. The student response questionnaire consists of 2 aspects, namely the response and reaction aspects. The criteria of response consists of five indicators are format, relevance, interest, satisfaction, and confident. This research is done by giving comic learning media  followed by giving response questionnaire to the students. The analysis of the questionnaire shows that the average value of student response on the response aspect is 73.4% while the reaction aspect is 74.4%. %. It can be concluded that the average percentage of student response is 73,9% and categorized strong. Keywords: Ecological material, comic learning media, student response.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this study is to give the understanding and knowledge about Jepin Langkah Serong dance in Pontianak. This study is about analyzing the structure of the arrangement on Japin LangkahSerong dance in Pontianak, West Borneo. The research design used in this study is descriptive, which is qualitative research design. In this study, the researcher use a choreography approach, the data in this study is the structure of the performances on Jepin Langkah Serong dance in Pontianak, West Borneo. The sources of data are M Yusuf Dahyani , Juhermi Thahir and Anwar Jafar. Techniques used in this study to collect the data are interview, observation, and documentation and the instruments used in this study are interview questions, interview guides, cell phone camera, and a field note.The results of this study on Jepin Langkah dance have the structure of performances which are consists of the initial movements, middle movements and end of the movements. Besides, others elements in dance are floor designs, the composition of the group, a theme, back sound,  dance properties, makeup and dress, and a venue.The results of this study are expected to be implemented in the Cultural and Arts lesson in class XI  semesters I. Keywords: Structure of Performances, Jepin Langkah Serong Dance, Pontianak

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to overcome the students’ misconception about the reflection of light by a mirror to the learning of IPA in class IX SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. The method used was the pre-experimental with one group pretest posttest design. The instruments of this research were two tiers diagnostic test that was tested to 29 students which were selected using  simple random sampling technique. Based on the results of data analysis, the highest profile of the students’ misconception in pretest was that the image on a plane mirror was real (93.1%). The highest profile of the students’ misconception in posttest was that the image of objects only appeared half or partially when using the size of a plane mirror size of half the height of the object (58.62%). The average percentage decreased in the number of students that the misconception is 43.44%. McNemar test result obtained the conceptual change of the number of students who had misconception occurred significantly with an average value of χ2 hitung (12.83) > χ2 table (3.84). LAPS-Heuristic learning model is expected to be used as an alternative remediation activity in order to overcome the students’ misconception. Keywords: Remediation, Misconception, LAPS-Heuristic, and Reflection of Light by a Mirror

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is "The Influence of Parent Income on Motivation of Junior High School Children of Pulau Limbung Village to Continue Education". This study aims to determine the general problems in this study, namely "How to Influence Parents' Income on the Motivation of Children to Continue Education". With sub-problems: (1) How big is the influence of parental income on the motivation of Limbung Island junior high school children (2) How is the motivation of children to continue education. The form of research used in this study is quantitative research with descriptive research methods and forms of correlation studies with the number of respondents 83 people. Data collection techniques used indirect techniques using questionnaires or questionnaires and documentation techniques in the form of archives or records relating to parental income and motivation of children to continue their education. While data management techniques and data analysis using Simple Linear Regression analysis with the help of SPSS 18. the results of the study prove that 1. the influence of parents' income on the motivation of children in SMP Limbung Middle School to continue their education is 25 categorized as low. 2. the motivation of children to continue their education is very high at 93%. Adjusted R Square determinant value = 0.25 which means the influence of motivational parent income for SMP Limbung Island children is categorized as low at25%.Keywords: Income, Motivation, Education.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of the study is to to know how well picture improves the students’ vocabulary about adjective to describe people for the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Melayu Rayak in academic year 2013/2014. The observation check list and field notes were used to take notes about teaching learning activities which related to the used of picture to teach vocabulary.  Based on the research findings that had been conducted by the researcher, it could be seen that there were some improvement on students’ vocabulary achievement by using picture. On the first test the means score was 52.6 and the mean score of the second test was 77. These mean scores indicated that there were some improvements in the students. The processes done by the teacher in the classroom worked. Therefore the tenth Grade Students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Melayu Rayak in Academic Year 2013/2014 could improve their vocabulary score achievement by using picture. Action hypothesis showed that picture can improve the students’ vocabulary achievement. Keywords : Teaching, Vocabulary, Picture Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa baik gambar meningkatkan kosakata siswa tentang sifat untuk menggambarkan orang untuk siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Melayu Rayak di tahun akademik 2013/2014. Dalam penelitian tersebut. Pengamatan check list dan catatan lapangan yang digunakan untuk mengambil catatan tentang kegiatan belajar mengajar yang berkaitan dengan yang digunakan gambar untuk mengajar kosa kata. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, dapat dilihat bahwa ada beberapa perbaikan pada prestasi kosakata siswa dengan menggunakan gambar. Pada tes pertama skor sarana adalah 52,6 dan nilai rata-rata dari tes kedua adalah 77. ini berarti skor menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa perbaikan dalam siswa. Proses dilakukan oleh guru di kelas bekerja. Oleh karena itu Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Melayu Rayak di Tahun Akademik 2013/2014 bisa meningkatkan nilai kosakata prestasi mereka dengan menggunakan gambar. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Pontianak Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen Nonequivalent Control Group Design.. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik pengukuran. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah soal tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 soal. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A yang berjumlah 27 orang dan kelas IV B yang berjumlah 28 orang. Hasil pengolahan data, diperoleh rata-rata post-test pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 80,33 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 73,10. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus t-test Polled Varians diperoleh thitung = 2,45 dan untuk ttabel = 1,987 dengan dk=n1+n2-2= 53 pada taraf signifikan (α) = 5% dengan demikian diperoleh  >  atau 2,45 > 1,987. Maka HO ditolak dan HA diterima. Hal ini menunjukan terdapat perbedaaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Untuk tingkat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Inkuiri pada penelitian ini, diperoleh ES = 0,48 dengan kategori sedang, hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Inkuiri berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Pontianak Utara.   Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri, Hasil Belajar Abstract: This research aimed to describe the effect of applying inquiry learning model to the learning outcomes of students in the learning of students in the fourth grade Natural Sciences State Elementary School 07 North Pontianak. The method used in this study is the experimental method with experimental design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection techniques used in this study using the measurement technique. Data collection tool used is multiple choice test questions totaling 20 questions. The sample in this study is the IV A, amounting to 27 people and the IV B, amounting to 28 people. The result of data processing, obtained an average post-test on the experimental class at 80.33 while the control class is 73.10. Results of hypothesis testing using t-test formula Variance polled obtained t = 2.45 and for the table = 1.987 df = n1 + n2-2 = 53 at significance level (α) = 5% thus obtained t_test> t_table or 2.45 > 1.987. Ha is accepted or approved and Ho rejected. This shows there are differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class and control class. To the degree of influence the use of inquiry learning model in this study, ES = 0.48 price obtained and the effect size based on criteria including the medium category. It shows that the used of inquiry learning model influence on student learning outcomes in the fourth grade Natural Sciences State Elementary School 07 North Pontianak.   Keywords: Inquiry Learning Model, Learning Result

Abstract

Abstract?Dara Anta choreograph inspired by the legend of Ketungau Hilir?s people of Sintang District. Legend is a story that is considered true, the story is related to historical figures, it has been spiced with magic, wonders, and special features. The legend of Dara Anta is a tragedy that happened in the past, still a story until now among the peoples of Ketungau Hilir, when a woman named Dara Anta became a stone due to anger because of her husband?s betrayal. This phenomenom turns out to be the basic idea in creating "Dara Anta" choreograph which in a dance-theater form or a dance with story. Dara Anta choreograph applies and goes through some methods in its making-process such as exploration, processing, application, evaluation, and revision. This performance brings out an interesting aesthetic from the dance and music, and it becomes not just a dance show, but its music is as well attractive. Apart from that, the choreograph combines uniqueness of Dayak traditional dance movements and Dayak creations. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan Somatic Auditory Visual Intelectual pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 24 Pontianak Tenggara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dan bersifat penelitian kolaboratif.  Subjek penelitian ini ialah guru dan 30 siswa kelas V. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I 66,07, pada siklus II 74,48, pada siklus III 76,67, dan pada siklus IV 84,67. Jadi penerapan pendekatan Somatic Auditory Visual Intelctual (SAVI) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, Pendekatan Somatic Auditory Visual Intelectual (SAVI), Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam   Abstract: This research aims to determine the improvement of the student learning outcomes by using Somatic Auditory Visual Intelectual (SAVI) approach on Natural Sciences in grade V of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 24 Pontianak Tenggara. The research method that used is descriptive method. The research design used is classroom action research and the types is collaborative research. The subjects in this research were teacher and 30 students of grade V. Based on the research, the average of students learning outcomes at the first cycle was 66,07 , at the second cycle was 74,48, at the third cycle was 76,67, and at the fourth cycle was 84,67. So the implementation of Somatic Auditory Visual Intelectual (SAVI) approach could  improved the students learning outcomes. Abstract

AbstractThe problem discussed in this study is whether by cooperative learning could improve floor gymnastic skills of students in class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Muslimin 1. The purpose of this study is to improve floor gymnastic skills with cooperative learning of students in class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Muslimin 1. The study was conducted with a descriptive qualitative method involving two variables, the independent variable is cooperative learning and the dependent variable is floor gymnastics skills. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Muslimin 1, totaling 33 students. This research technique uses tests and measurements, which is a test with a lattice measuring instrument measuring floor gymnastics skills. The Data analysis using percentages value. The results of this study indicate there is an increase in floor gymnastic skills with cooperative learning of students in Class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Muslimin 1. This is evidenced by an increase in floor gymnastic skills of the students, when in the first cycle with an average value of 57.32 so the increase at 20.26%. Mean while the average value in the second cycle is 88.13, so the increase is 53.74%. Based on the results of research in this study, it could be suggested that the Physical Education teacher is expected to develop creativity and be more innovative in the learning process in an effort to improve student competency. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Floor Gymnastic.
