Abstract

AbstractThe researcher choosed figure of speech of comparison and contradiction as the focus of the research since they are common in literary works. The researcher used different methods for the sake of data collecting and analysis. The purpose of the methods was to have systematic, factual, and accurate description of the fact, nature, and relation between the related problems. The problem of this research was the language style ofthe two types of figure of speech, the meaning of the language style of each figure of speech, and its implementation as a model in the learning at school. The result of the analysis of the using figure of speech comparison and contradiction in novel Seribu Malam untuk Muhammad revealed figure of speech of comparison such as metaphor, personification, depersonification, allegory, antithesis, pleonasm, periphrases, anticipation, correction are there. The figure of speech of contradiction was there such as hyperbole, litotes, oxymoron, satire, innuendo, paradox, climax, anti-climax, anastrophe and hypalase. The implementation was done to year-12 of Senior High School on the basic competence of 3.9 which is about analyzing the content as well as the linguistic features of novel. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the moral development of class X SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method with survey. The population study was 183 people with a sample of 35 students of class X SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. The data technique use direct communication and indirect. Data aids using questionnaires and interviews. The results are in the moral development of class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak showing a fairly high category, namely the proportion of 72.46% according to the three existing aspects. The level of pre-conventional moral development in the category of "Low", the proportion of 58.57% with the orientation of the orientation and relative instruments, the conventional category of the "High enough" proportion of 71.70% with the orientation of agreement between personal and law and order orientation, Postconventional category of the proportion of "Very High" 91 , 08% with a legality contact orientation and a universal ethical principle orientation.Keywords: Perkembangan Moral

Abstract

AbatractThe purpose of this research is to describe the factors influencing of students' interest in learning English and to describe the dominant factors that influence students' interest in learning English on the tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sambas in the academic year 2020/2021. The research method used is descriptive research in the form of quantitative research. This research used 31 questionnaires to collect the data. The research subject for this research are tenth grade students that consist of 40 students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sambas in the academic year 2020/2021. The results of the research shows that the factor influencing students' interest in learning English is the external factor with the amount of percentage 70.262% with rating percentage interpretation criteria is middle. From the list of the recapitulating the percentage of each indicator, the dominant factors that influence students' interest in learning English is school factor with percentage 68.99%. Therefore, from the research there are a number of external factors such as teacher, learning facility, learning method, and also school environment that influencing students' interest in learning English. Keywords : InterestLearning EnglishStudents' Interest

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was to analyze and describe the character education’ values of the main character on the novel entitled Semburat Putih Pelangi Kasih (Life Story of Dewi Kili Suci) by Monic De Blor. The purpose of this study is to describe the values of character education in the novel Semburat Putih Pelangi Kasih (The Life Story of Dewi Kili Suci) by Monic De Blor. The writer uses descriptive study in this research. It is done in qualitative form. The literary sociology approach was used in this research as the approach method. The data source in this research is documentary study. Based on the analysis of the novel Semburat Putih Pelangi Kasih (The Life Story of Dewi Kili Suci) by Monic De Blor, there are five values of character education, namely: (1) religious, (2) nationalist, (3) independent, (4) mutual cooperation, (5) integrity. This research has a relationship with the Indonesian subject on class XII, semester II, curriculum 2013. The results of this study are expected to be useful for all circles, especially for teachers and students in schools.Keywords : analysis, characters education values, novel.

Abstract

AbstractThis development research was carried out to produce a produc in the form of a question instrument based on high order thinking skills in class V theme 3 subtheme 1. The research method used is research and development (R&D) adaptation of research development by Borg & Gall which includes the following steps: research and information collection, planning, early product development, initial field trials, major product revisions, field trials, and operational product revisions. The data sources of this research were 54 students of Muhammadiyah 2 Elementary School. The data collection instruments in this study consisted of interviews, questionnaires, and tests in the form of HOTS questions. The data analysis technique used in this research is item analysis. The results of the study indicate that the HOTS-based question instrument consists of 20 multiple-choice questions from the material, construction, and language aspects, which are valid and worthy of testing. The instrument consisting of 20 items has a validity level of 0.5097 (valid), the degree of reliability is 0.893 (high). Based on the level of difficulty and distinguishing power of the 20 items, there are 19 items that match the characteristics of HOTS.Keywords: Development, Instrument, High Order Thinking Skills.

Abstract

AbstractThis research discusses the students’ self-confidence of Class XI MA Islamiyah Pontianak for the 2020/2021 academic year. The problems in this research discusses self-confidence, optimistic and objective behavior, sense of responsibility, rational and realistic thinking. This research aims to identify and describe self-confidence, optimistic and objective behavior, sense of responsibility, rational and realistic thinking. This research is a survey research with a descriptive method through a quantitative approach. The research’s subject is the students of class XI with a population of 42 students. The technique of date collection in this research is self-confidence inventory and the tools used in this research are indirect communication. Based on the results of data analysis, the self-confidence of students in class XI MA Islamiyah Pontianak was 88%, which means they were in the "High" category. So it can be concluded that the overall self-confidence category of class XI MA Islamiyah Pontianak students is high.KeywordUs: Analysis, Self Confidence

Abstract

This study aims to analyze self- confidence in improving entrepreneurship motivation MBKM students entrepreneurship Economic Education FKIP Tanjungpura University. This research approach uses qualitative approach with descriptive study research. Informans in this study are students of Economic EDUCATION fkip Tanjungpura University of class of 2021 and 2022 as many as 13 people. The informant category is students who have followed MBKM Entrepreneurship. Data collection techniques use direct interviews and observation. The result of this study shows that students self confidence can increase after participating in MBKM entrepreneurship activities and can provide ideas, implement to make finished products that have been approved by the market and aspects that can be increase entrepreneurial motivation is aspect 1) confidence in the ability of self by improving skills; 2) optimistic by always thinking positively; 3) objective by continuing to learn from the surrounding to learn from the surrounding environment; 4) responsible by not harming the surrounding environment; 5) realistic and rational can balance the shortcomings of self and facts in the field. Motives that increase entrepreneurial motivation are 1) need for achievement, namely achievement in the from of income: 2) need for power, namely to make changes and guide the team in achieving maximum potential; 3) need for affiliation, namely building good relationship so that they can work together

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the correlation between learning motivation andlearning style with students' cognitive values in the fourth grade thematiclearning at State Elementary School 03 South Pontianak. The research methodused is descriptive method in the form of relationship studies by using correlationstudies. The population in this study amounted to 129 students and the sampleused was class IV D totaling 32 students. Data collection techniques in this studyare direct communication techniques, indirect communication techniques anddocumentary study techniques. The instruments (data collection tools) of thisstudy were interviews (interviews), questionnaires (questionnaires) and cognitivevalue documents. The results showed that students' learning motivation at theState Elementary School 03 South Pontianak was 83.94% in the "Good" categoryand 71.83% in the student learning style in the "Enough" category. While thecognitive value of the students of South Pontianak State Elementary School 03obtained an average of 88.09 in the "Good" category. Based on the results ofstatistical calculations using the multiple correlation formula to calculate thecorrelation between learning motivation and learning style with students'cognitive values, it is obtained r count of 0.213, while r table for N = 32 and asignificance level of 5% of 0.349 means r count < r table or 0.213 < 0.349. Basedon the results of the study, the correlation between learning motivation andlearning style with students' cognitive scores in class IV thematic learning atState Elementary School 03 South Pontianak is in the low category.Keywords: Cognitive Value, Correlation, Learning Motivation, Learning Style

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the wordwall application on early numeracy skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK Pembina Negeri Nanga Taman. The method used was a quantitative experimental method, the research subjects were class B with 11 children. The results of the study showed that the effect of the wordwall application on early numeracy skills of children aged 5-6 years in this study was very good, early numeracy abilities at pretest were 73% in the MB category, 27% in the BSH category, while at posttest 64% were in the BSH category, 36 % BSB category. with a difference of 27.84%, indicating a change in the achievement of early numeracy skills in children aged 5-6 years at TK Pembina Nanga Taman. The results of the research show that if you compare the rcount with the r-table where N=11 at the 5% significance level, we get -ttable tcount ttable with the result -3.82201 -2.80659 3.82201. Thus it can be concluded that there is The influence of the wordwall application on early numeracy skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK Pembina Negeri Nanga Taman.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe how audio visual media is used in high-class thematic learning at SDN 06 South Pontianak. This research includes descriptive qualitative research, namely data collection conducted using observation, interview, and documentation methods. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis, namely in the form of written data or from interviews from related parties. The results of the research are as follows: Based on research that has been done at SD Negeri 06 Pontianak Selatan related to the use of audio visual media in thematic learning in the High Class of SD Negeri 06 Pontianak Selatan, there are sections that are appropriate and not yet appropriate, with the steps and characteristics of media use. The appropriate part is in the steps to use audio visual media. On the thematic learning characteristics the appropriate part is student-centered, presenting concepts from various subjects, providing firsthand experience and using the principles of learning while playing and enjoyable. The part that is not suitable is, in the separation of the subjects is not so clear, the results of learning in accordance with the interests and needs of students , and is flexible.Keywords: Audio Visual Media, High Class, Thematic Learning
