Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of traditional Batalah rituals in the Kanayatn Dayak Tribe in Oto Ledakng Hamlet, Landak Regency. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive-ethnographic approach. The data collection technic used a observation, interviews and documentation. The data collection tools used a observation guideline, interview guideline and documentation tools. The data analysis technic used a data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The testing of data validity used a source triangulation and a technical triangulation. The results of this research showing, (1) the process of the traditional Batalah ritual consists of two stages, the first is preparing the equipment for the ritual, before the traditional Batalah ritual carried out. Second, the day of the implementation of the traditional Batalah ritual which is carried out in the Nyangahant way. Nyangahant is divided into two, namely raw Nyangahant and cooked Nyangahant, after finishing the Nyangahant the next stage is bathing the baby, Ngaramak Suba, and eating together. (2) the function of the traditional ritual of Batalah in the Kanayatn Dayak Tribe in Oto Ledakng Hamlet, Sengah Temila District, Landak Regency is to give a name to a newborn child by means of a traditional ritual that will become the name or identity of the baby for life. (3) the values contained in the traditional Batalah rituals of the Kanayant Dayak Tribe are the value of mutual cooperation, religion and cleanliness.

Abstract

AbstractThis study contains an analysis of the social attitudes of seventh grade students of Pontianak 10 State Junior High School. This study aims to analyze the social attitudes of students. The research method used is descriptive in the form of quantitative research. The sample in this study was 60 students of class VII, the sample was taken using random sampling, data collection was an indirect communication technique in the form of a questionnaire distributed to the entire sample as a whole. Data analysis using percentage correction. The results showed that the honesty attitude of students in the school environment with a percentage of 82% was included in the "high" category.. The honesty attitude of students in the community with a percentage of 92.5% is included in the "high" category. Discipline does not violate existing rules at school with a percentage of 91.83% including the "high" category. Discipline Collecting assignments as determined with a percentage of 94.5% including the "high" category. Being responsible when given an assignment with a percentage of 95.67% is in the "high" category.. Responsible for admitting mistakes with a percentage of 91.10% including the "high" category.Keywords: Analysis, Social Attitude.

Abstract

The use of mass media in the era of globalisation to assist educational institutions in increasing new student admissions. This study aims to examine the use of mass media in an effort to increase new student admissions in the era of globalisation. This research method is a descriptive method with a literature study approach or library research which involves searching for data about various things or variables from notes, books, papers, articles, journals, and others. This library research focuses on the use of mass media in an effort to increase new student admissions in the era of globalisation. The results of the literature study found that when mass media is used as a medium of promotion or marketing of the vision and mission and excellent programmes, the information will be widely spread in a short period of time compared to traditional or conventional promotion. After reviewing several studies that have been analysed, there are those that suggest that mass media is quite influential, especially in new student admissions, especially school websites are an important element that every institution must have. Therefore, in addition to using conventional methods, it turns out that educational institutions need to upgrade the marketing methods for new student admissions using modern methods through mass media, in order to increase the perfect new student admission target.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe: (1) the feasibility of contents, (2) the feasibility of the language,(3) the feasibility of the presentation, and (4) the feasibility of graphic in the student booktheme 6 energy and its changes in class III sekolah dasar negeri 17 Pontianak Kota.Thisresearch is a descriptive method that uses a qualititative approach. and the source of thisdata in this study was the homeroom teacher for class III and the student’s book theme 6energy and its changes. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews anddocumentation. Data analysis in this research,data collection,data reduction,datapresentation and verification/conclusion.The results showed that (1) the feasibility of thecontent of the student book theme 6 class III elementary school are on a scale of good tothe percentage of the feasibility of 75%, the deficiency of 25% is on the presentation ofillustrations that are less concrete and the lack of presentation currency of the features thatsupport the material, (2) the feasibility of language books on this theme were on a scalevery well with the percentage of the feasibility of 86% since it is supported by goodlanguage adjustments and the standardization of wording in accordance with correctindonesian language rules, a deficiency of 14% is influenced by linkage and the integrityof the parts, (3) the feasibility of the presentation of the book this theme are on the scalevery well with the percentage of the feasibility of 81%, a deficiency of 19% is influencedby a lack of variation in the presentation, is not presented part glossary, part summariesand concept maps, (4) the feasibility of graphics books on this theme were on a scale verywell with the percentage of the feasibility of 91%, a deficiency of 9% is in the presentationof the contents of the book that reduce the neatness of the utilization of the page and thelack of accuracy as well as concreteness of the illustration.Keywords: feasibility of the content, language feasibility,presentation feasibility, graphicfeasibility

Abstract

Physical education is an educational process with the help of motor activity, which aims to improve physical fitness, motor skills, emotional intelligence, education and the formation of a healthy and active lifestyle. The purpose of this research is to study the literature on sports interest among elementary school students. The research method used in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Search) method. Data collection was carried out by converting all documents containing similar research into research reports. This study uses articles from seven national journals taken from the Google Scholar database using the Publish or Perish program. Surveys show that elementary school students still have little interest in physical education. The purpose of this research is for teachers to be more creative in conveying content and convincing students, and for teachers to motivate students to attend physical education classes.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out the relationship between guidance and motivation withthe learning outcomes of students of grade V of Public Elementary School 15 SouthPontianak. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a form ofcorrelation study research. The population in this study was students of grade V SDN15 South Pontianak. The samples in this study were determined using nonprobabiltysampling techniques with saturated sampling type of all students of grade V SDN 15Pontianak Selatan. The source of this research data is a list of the scale of the parentlearning guidance questionnaire and the motivation of learning students of grade VSDN 15 Pontianak Selatan as well as the document of the value of learning theme 6.The results showed the parents' learning guidance of 83.25% of students wasincluded in the excellent category, the motivation of learning of learners by 80.05%was included in the category very well, and the learning outcomes of 83.4% fall intothe category very well. The correlation between guidance and learning outcomesobtained results of 0.655 falls into the strong category. The correlation betweenmotivation and learning outcomes was 0.676 in the strong category. Correlationguidance and motivation of 0.708 fall into the strong category. The correlationbetween guidance and motivation with learning outcomes of 0.720 falls into thestrong category.Keywords: Parental Learning Guidance, Learning Motivation, LearningOutcomes

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of chest passes for basketball extracurricular participants at Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa High School. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of small-sided games on the accuracy of chest passes in basketball extracurricular participants at Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa High School. The sample in this study were all 18 participants in the men's basketball extracurricular at Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa High School. This study is an experimental study with a pretest posttest control group design. The instrument used in this study used the AAHPERD basketball passing test, to measure the accuracy of the chest pass with a validity of 0.65-0.95 and a reliability of 0.84-0.97.The data was then statistically processed and tested for normality by Kolmogorov-Smirnov. The hypothesis proposed is that there is an effect of small-sided games training on the accuracy of the chest pass.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to know the significant of correlation between rewarding students and their achievement and to figure out the contribution of rewards in students’ achievement in English learning of Year - 10 students at MAN 1 Pontianak Academic Year 2018/2019. The population of this research was all of Year – 10 students of MAN 1 Pontianak in Academic Year 2018/2019. The participant of research which consisted of 34 students. The data of the reward were collected by using questionnaire and for the data of students’ achievement collected by a written test. The data showed there is a high positive correlation between the two variables and considered as a significant correlation between rewarding students and their achievement in English learning (Ha accepted). It means that the high scale of the rewards tend to be followed by the high scores of students’ achievement in English learning, the writer positively recommends the teacher to reward the students as a variation in teaching and learning process. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the influence of family environment on student learning outcomes of class XI and XII on Economic subject on SMA Wisuda Pontianak. The method use in this research is descriptive method in the form of interrelationship studies. The population in this research amounted to 45 students, with sampling using Incidental Sampling method with a total 38 students. This study uses data obtained from distributing questionnaires. The result show that 1) the way parents educate their children has a negative and insignificant effect on the student learning outcomes. 2) Family relationship have a positive and significant effect on the student learning outcomes. 3) Home or family atmosphere has positive and significant effect on the student learning outcomes. 4) The economics condition of parents has a negative and significant effect on the student learning outcomes and 5) The understanding from the parents has positive and insignificant effect on the student learning outcomes of class XI and XII on SMA Wisuda Pontianak.Keyword: Family Environtment, The Result of The Study

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of theChase Package C program through the Bubor Paddas CommunityLearning Activity Center, Sui Wie Village, Singkawang City. Thisresearch uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. Datacollection techniques in this study using observation, interviews, anddocumentation. The informants in this study amounted to 4 people,consisting of 3 tutors and 1 manager. The results of this studyindicate that planning is good for tutors before doing learning, it isrequired to have a plan such as lesson plans, so that theimplementation of the package C pursuit program goes wellaccording to what has been planned by the administrator, althoughthere are several obstacles, the first is the lack of facilities andinfrastructure. For facilities such as computers, cellphones, etc. Andfor infrastructure, there is a lack of land so that learning is still beingcarried out at junior high school PGRI 4
