Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out the communication skills of students using active debate methods in PPKn learning at SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. This research uses qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation studies, the research subject is grade XI IIS2 with a total of 30 students. The research process uses 1 class with 2 meetings. The results of data analysis showed that students' communication skills at meeting 1 before getting active debate method treatment with the 2nd meeting getting active debate method treatment were different. Proven by the average results of communication skills of students at meeting 1 is 51.33%. While at the 2nd meeting using active debate method increased to 75.99%. meetings 1 and 2 averaged 63.66% of students' communication skills including strong criteria. This is a difference in students' communication skills using active debate methods in PPKn learning in grade XI IIS2. Therefore, it can be concluded that the active debate method provides communication skills in class XI IIS2 Pontianak, especially ppkn.Keywords: Student Communication Skills, Active Debate Method, PPKn Learning, Senior High School 9 Pontianak

Abstract

AbstractThis research was using descriptive research method with the form of quantitative. The Source of this research is Students of X IIS 3 and the data collection tool is questionnaires. The content of the questionnaires frankly enclosed the questions about Instagram users and cognitive data results of Students’ exam in first semester, the research also conducted by doing the interview of Pancasila and Civic Education teacher and X IIS 3’s students. The result revealed that the calculation and data processing showed the value of R as much as 0,620. The conclusion that we can take from the research is Instagram as social media affected the grade of students, although the value of effect is  strong. Based on the table shown in the research, the researcher got the value of R Square in 0,620 or 62 % which interpreted as the effect of Instagram is only 62 % toward Students’ grade of X IIS 3 in SMAN 7 Pontianak in PPKn, the rest of numbers that are not mentioned are affected by other factors which give effects toward Y variable. Based on coefficient of Determination’s calculation, It clearly explained that Social Media Instagram gave “a strong” effect on Student’s grade. Keywords: Instagram, Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn ), Social Media, Student’s Grade, Student.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the development of electronic teaching materials based on mathematical literacy on trigonometry material and students' mathematical communication skills in class X TKJ SMK Negeri 4 Pontianak.. From the research results, the development of teaching materials based on mathematical literacy has been validated by two validators and tested so that the teaching materials that have been made are suitable for use. Mathematical communication skills can be seen from the test results which refer to the indicators of mathematical communication. The mean score of 9 students who worked on the questions based on each indicator was to state the situation of daily events in a mathematical model and to solve it an average score of 10; compile a mathematical model of everyday events about trigonometry and solve it an average score of 10; depicting or presenting real objects, pictures and diagrams in the form of mathematical ideas and or symbols with an average score of 8.89; explain ideas, situations and mathematical relations, orally and in writing using real objects, and algebraic expressions with an average score of 4.78; restating a drawing or description or a paragraph of mathematics in one's own language an average score of 7.44. Abstract

This research aimed to explore the distribution of gender roles within households in the village of Banjar Serasan RT 002 RW 002 in East Pontianak. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, we conducted ten semi-structured interviews with married couples who were employed outside the home. Our analysis found that while there was still a traditional division of labor where men worked outside the home and women took care of domestic responsibilities, many couples had negotiated new arrangements where both partners contributed to earning income and sharing household duties. These changes seemed to be driven by increased access to education and job opportunities as well as shifting cultural attitudes towards gender roles. We conclude that gender roles continue to evolve and adapt over time, but further efforts should be made to promote greater equality and flexibility in the distribution of domestic and paid work among all members of society.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of conducted this research was to find out and analyzed moral values in the drama script of Helen Keller. The research method that the researcher used in this research was a qualitative descriptive method and the data collected through documentation technique. The researcher used descriptive analysis to analyzed the data based on the instrument of data analysis. This research used the drama script of Helen Keller written by William Gibson as the main subject. The researcher presented the moral values from the scene, act, and dialog. Based on the research findings, moral values that the researcher found in the drama script of Helen Keller classified into two types. The first is the issue of human relationship with themselves (personal life) that include patience, confidence, bravery, hardworking, and independence. The second is the human relationship with other human beings, including their relationship with the natural environment (social) that include love and affection, kind and friendly, cooperativeness, loyalty, thankfulness, respect, togetherness, and helping each other. In conclusion, drama script of Helen Keller can be one of the references to teach the moral values because moral values reflect all activities of people in society such as at home, at the office, especially at school. Abstract

This research was conducted as an Indonesian learning research during pandemic covid-19 in seventh grade of the Pancasila Pal IX Kubu Raya 2021/2022. This research took place at the covid-19 pandemic, so the learning process takes place online using the whatshapp applications. The problems in this research include implementation, learning assessments, and interaction during the learning process using the whatshapp application in the seventh grade SMP Pancasila Pal IX Kubu Raya. The purpose of this research is to describe learning practices, learning assessments, and interactions during the learning process using the whatshapp application in the seventh grade of SMP Pancasila Pal IX Kubu Raya. This research used qualitative descriptive methods. The data in this research is sourced to the Indonesian teacher. The analysis is based on the formula of the problem that was created. First the practice of learning, there is a challenge for teachers to carry out learning online using the whatshapp application. First the practice of learning, there is a challenge for teachers to carry out learning online using the whatshapp application which is the limitation of social interaction and the limitation of learning time. Second, the learning assessments given to learners include knowledge assessment and skill assessment. Knowledge assessment and skill assessment show learners do not pass on assessor skills in the textbook matter procedure.

Abstract

The problem discussed in this study is how the effect of training with ladder drills on long jump abilities (experimental study on: extracurricular participants at SMP Negeri 2 Ngabang). The aim of the research was to determine the effect of training with a ladder drill on long jump abilities. Experimental studies on: extracurricular participants at SMP Negeri 2 Ngabang. The method used is an experiment with an experimental design research form using a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The study population was 15 students participating in extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 2 Ngabang. The sample was taken using saturated sampling. The researcher took all of the population, with a sample of 15 students. This research technique uses tests and measurements, namely the squat style long jump ability test. Data analysis using the t-test formula. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect, this can be proven based on the calculation results, where the ttest value is 7.964 > ttable value (0.220), so that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the value hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, meaning that there is an influence where from the difference in the results of pre -test (58.78) is smaller than posttest (63.86).

Abstract

Abstrak This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model at SMP Negeri 1 Sambas. The method used is quasi-experimental. The form of research used was pre-experimental design. The research subjects were students of class VIII E with a total of 30 students. Based on the data analysis of the Wilcoxon Test results, the Sig value (0.000) ˂ Significant level (0.05) was obtained, so there was an increase in the average learning outcomes of students after the implementation of the Student Team Achievement Division learning model. From the results of this study, it was concluded that there was a significant increase in the use of the Student Teams Achievement Division model of cooperative learning on student learning outcomes. It is suggested that the Student Teams Achievement Division type cooperative learning model be used as an alternative learning model to improve student learning outcomes in physics subjects. Abstract

AbstrackThis study aims to classify the form of the lingual unit, describe its meaning and function, and produce a supplementary form of Indonesian language learning text based on the plant lexicon in the Pontianak Malay rhyme cognate. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The sources of data in this study are video documentation and the Pontianak Malay community who are located in Sungai Beliung Village, West Pontianak. Data collection techniques, namely, documentation techniques, interviews, notes, and records. The technique of testing the validity of the data is the persistence of observation and peer examination. This study contained 135 rhyme data based on the plant lexicon, then 90 lexicon of plant names and plant parts and 69 based on the lexicon of plant names. The form of the lingual unit contains 18 monomeric data, and 72 phrase data. In addition, there are 90 plant lexicon based on lexical meaning and 80 data on cultural meaning. The form of Indonesian language learning text b ased on the plant lexicon in the Pontianak Malay rhyme cognate produces descriptive text.Keywords: Lexicon, Plants, Pantun, Pontianak Malay
