Abstract

This research aims and is motivated by the idea of documenting the oral literature of the Malay community in the Punggur Besar area, Sungai Kakap sub-district, Kubu Raya regency. The problem in this research is what are the moral values of the community regarding the Serapah Buaya folklore in the Punggur Besar area, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency. The research method used is descriptive, a qualitative form of research and the approach used is the sociology of literary works. The data source in this research is the folklore text Serapah Buaya. There are four techniques used in this research, namely direct research involvement techniques, interview techniques, recording techniques, and recording techniques. The data collection tool is the researcher himself as the key instrument with the assistance of several supporting tools, namely a list of questions, a voice recorder, camera, laptop and stationery. The results of the analysis of research data regarding moral values, there are four moral values reflected in the Serapah Buaya folklore and one implementation of research on learning in schools, namely (1) Moral values of human relationship with God, namely (gratitude, prayer, and steadfastness) (2) The moral values of human relationships with themselves are (self-esteem, fear and obligation towards oneself) (3) The moral values of human relationships with other humans, namely (helping others, helping the weak selflessly, and respecting each other) (4) Moral values human relationship with the natural environment, namely (loving animals and plants).

Abstract

The research was background out to determine the implementation of class V mathematics learning in semester 1 online, find out the causes of learning loss in class V semester 1 students in online mathematics learning and find out the efforts made by teachers in overcoming learning loss in class V semester 1 students in online mathematics learning. Learning loss is the loss of student knowledge caused by not maximal material received by students. The method used in this study uses a descriptive qualitative method, the data obtained is then described according to the findings in the field without any control from the researcher. The participants of this study were five class V mathematics teachers and three students from each school in Tarogong Kaler sub-district. The results of this study are teachers use the lecture and assignment method during online learning, the media used by the teacher in the form of YouTube videos and source books and online student learning outcomes have decreased knowledge due to learning activities experiencing obstacles such as ineffective methods, less supportive facilities and a less conducive environment so that the material received by students is not optimal and students experience a decrease in student ability or learning loss. The efforts that teachers make to students in dealing with learning loss are by providing exercises, repeating mathematics material to the basics, conducting guidance, coordinating with parents and conducting home visits

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop e-modules based on the verses of the Qur'an and familiarize students with problem solving skills after using e-modules at SMAN 1 Sambas. The research method used was development research with the ADD model (Analize, Design, Develop). The research sample consisted of 28 students of class X MIPA 2. Based on the result, e-module was suitable for use in teaching and learning activities to apply the four core competencies. Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile and causes of students' errors in solving Rotation Dynamics questions based on Newman procedures at SMAN 7 Pontianak. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique uses description questions. Then interviews with students who have been selected to be research subjects. The data analysis of this research was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results showed that (1) none of the research subjects read wrongly, (2) errors in understanding were made by the students as much as 37.5%, (3) errors in the transformation made by the students were 21.875%. (4) errors in the processing ability made by students were 3.125%, (5) errors in writing answers made by students were 6.25%. The results of the analysis of students' errors in solving the Rotation Dynamics questions based on the Newman procedure showed that students experienced the most errors in understanding the problem, namely 37.5%. So it is hoped that the results of this study can be used to improve students' understanding in solving questions.

Abstract

AbstractThe study was supported by the interest researchers lifted by the majas found in the Pulangnovels of tere liye. From Pulang novels we can find our way home through battle after battle, toembrace all the hatred and pain. “Pulang” is a word that can mean returning to the same placeafter getting tired, getting some rest, getting some soul-crushing afterthought. As for theproblem of researchers, this is how advanced comparisons, contradictions, affirmations,allusions and implementation applications majas in the Pulang novels of Tere Liye. Thepurpose of this study is to describe majas comparisons, contradictions, assertions, insinuationsand implementation plans based on majas analysis in the Pulang novels of Tere Liye at highschool. The study uses qualitative descriptive methods. The object in this study is Tere Liye'sPulang novel. The source of the data in this study is Tere Liye's Pulang novel. The data used inthis study is the comparative majas, veracity, affirmation, and innuendo found in the homenovels of Tere Liye. The techniques for collecting data in this study are done with documentarystudies. The research instruments used are with data recorders tables. The data analysistechniques used are exposure and context analysis techniques. The data-validity testingtechnique used was surveillance persistence, triangulation and sufficient reference. Based onthe findings of the study, there are three stages. By comparison, the personification of 10examples, hyperbole 10 examples, Parable/simile 13 examples, and metaphor 1 example,metaphor of opposition, namely Hyperlone prosteron 2 example, majas affirmation, which is theclimax of 3 sample results. Abstract

English lessons in public elementary schools in Indonesia have been abolished. Students have problems in making sentences, interpreting and placing some things related to English. In this research researcher used research and development. Researcher used the ADDIE model. This study covered three stages, Analyzing, Designing, and Developing. Researcher chose ten junior high school students and also ten parents from the same students. Researcher used questionnaires, interview sheets, and expert validation sheets as data collection instruments. They argued that grammar was very important in learning English because grammar was the main foundation that will later support English language skills. Based on the result of validity, it showed that the score was categorized 90%, which means that it was good module. Therefore, the product declared no need to be revised (without revision). Module did not need to be revised according to expert and have the potential to increase students'' interest in learning grammar. The students should spend at least an hour studying the module, adjusting to their individual learning styles. Parents should facilitate children in learning so learning can be effective, help students if they find it difficult to understand the material.

Abstract

AbstractMulticultural education is education that instills diversity principles in pupils so thatthey can live in harmony with one another. The purpose of this study is to discover theplanning, implementation, and implementation steps of multicultural education inCivics subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat in order to foster a tolerant attitudeamong students. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative researchapproach. Principals, PPKn subject teachers, and students were used as data sourcesin this study. Interviews and previous documentation are the only methods for gatheringdata. Researchers employed data collecting, data reduction, data presentation, andverification/drawing conclusions as stages of data analysis. The findings reveal thatmulticultural education in Civics courses at SMK Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat has beenproperly implemented, beginning with planning, implementation, and implementation,in order to build student tolerance. Abstract

Vocabulary plays a vital role in every language. At present, many educational media are developed as auxiliary tools for language learning, such as  Hanping  Chinese Dictionary Lite.  Hanping  Chinese Dictionary Lite is an electronic dictionary that can help learners learn Chinese vocabulary. This study aims to understand the efficiency of students using the  Hanping  Chinese Dictionary Lite and students' evaluation of the  Hanping  Chinese Dictionary Lite. This study uses three research methods: test method, questionnaire survey method, and interview method. The results of the test and questionnaire survey show that the use of  Hanping  Chinese Dictionary Lite can effectively improve students' Chinese vocabulary. Because after using the dictionary software, the student's mastery of Chinese language has improved, that is, the result of the test is 60% and the result of the questionnaire is 53.50%. In the learning process, the author adopts six steps: showing the mobile phone dictionary to the students, conducting a pre-test, implementing the mobile phone dictionary, conducting a post-test, conducting a questionnaire survey, and conducting interviews. The final results of the interviews show that the evaluation of the dictionary software by the students is very good. It can be said that the students are satisfied with the use of the  Hanping  Chinese Dictionary Lite and think it is worth using the software.

Abstract

AbstractThe problems in this study include the type of register, register function, and the form of descriptive text material to complement the speech of rice farmers at harvest time in Tanjung Maju Village, Ketapang Regency as learning Indonesian in the 2013 curriculum. Sociolinguistics. The purpose of this study was to describe the type of registers used by rice farmers during rice harvesting in Tanjung Maju Village, Sungai Laur District, Ketapang Regency to describe the register function contained in padai farmer registers at rice harvesting in Tanjung Maju Village. Sungai Laur Subdistrict, Ketapang Regency and explains the implementation of the use of the rice farmer register book at harvest in Tanjung Maju Village, Ketapang Regency in the description text as learning Indonesian in the 2013 curriculum. The method used is qualitative. The data source in this study is the Dayak Simpakng language spoken by informants in Tanjung Maju Village. The data collection techniques used were interview techniques, competent free listening techniques, recording techniques, and note taking techniques.Keywords: Rice Farmers during harvest in the Village of Tanjung Maju advenced, Speech Events, Register.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to improve students’ ability to comprehend narrative text by using Story Face as the strategy, especially to improve students’ ability in identifying details of story elements, and understanding the meaning. The writer applied Classroom Action Research for this research. This research was conducted in three cycles of meetings and the subject of this research was the eighth grade students of SMPN 3 Sambas, in Academic Year 2018/2019. There were 24 participants attending the process and during the process, it was found out that the students were excited and active in the class. The data revealed that the students improved their ability to comprehend the reading elements of narrative text in identifying details of story elements and understanding the meaning. Students avarage score in the first cycle was 73.75 mean score then improved to 83.04 in second cycle, and then became 83.47 in third cycle.The conclusion is that the use of Story Face Strategy improved students’ ability to comprehend narrative text, especially in identifying details of story elements and understanding the meaning of text. Beside that, the use of Story Face Strategy also increased student activities in reading process.Keywords: Story Face Strategy, Narrative Text, Reading Comprehension
