Abstract

Dropping out of school is a serious problem that can hamper the country's social and economic development. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the causal factors in order to overcome these problems. This article discusses the results of an analysis of the factors that cause children to drop out of school based on literature studies and primary data obtained from interviews with fathers/mothers of students and teachers in several schools. The results of the analysis show that factors such as economic, social, and personal can cause children to drop out of school. Economic factors include expensive school fees and unmet family financial needs, while social factors include an unsupportive family environment and social pressure in the school environment. Personal factors include lack of motivation and interest in learning as well as health and psychiatric problems. Therefore, integrated and collaborative efforts between the government, community and schools need to be made to address the problem of dropping out of school by taking into account these factors.

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is to describe the form of presentation of Selodang Mayang Dance. Selodang Mayang dance is a classical dance which is a specifically performed at the Kadriyah Sultanate Palace and there is very little information about classical dance in West Kalimantan. This study aims to describe and document the Selodang Mayang dance in the form of writing, pictures and videos of the dance. The problem in this research is: how is the the Selodang Mayang dance at the Kadriyah Sultanate Palace has been presented. This is a qualitative research method through the descriptive approach and this used Seodarsono theory assisted by ethnochoreology approach, with source of data wasin the form of Selodang Mayang Dance. The resource of this study were Syarifah Fadlon Alkadrie, Syarifah Faizah Alkadrie, and Riana Utami. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. The validation techniques of the data used were the extension of observations and triangulation. Based on the results of the researchers, it is concluded that the form of presentation of the Selodang Mayang dance at the Kadriyah Sultanate Palace, Pontianak, West Kalimantan, are as follows: The name of the Selodang Mayang dance was taken from the names of the shawl and mayang or areca nut. Selodang Mayang dance is a group dance. Selodang Mayang dance moves consist of opening movements, core movements, namely varieties 1, 2, and 3 and closing movements. Musical instruments that can be used to accompany this dance are the tambourine and the accordion. Selodang Mayang dance is using realist makeup. The clothes worn by dancers are telo 'potass clothes and gill pattern cloth. The properties used are shawl and mayang or areca nut.Keywords: Dance, Selodang Mayang, Presentation

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' interest in learning mathematics in the Covid-19 period, grade fourth at SDN 33 in Bernayau, Sepauk sub-district, Sintang district. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The object of this research is students' interest in learning. The data sources of this research were all fourth grade students of State Elementary School 33 Bernayau, totaling 25 students. The subject is 5 students. This study used the instruments of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that students' interest in learning in mathematics can be said to be less good, it can be seen from the lack of attention, interest and involvement of students. In addition, the inhibiting factors for students' interest in learning are not good, namely inadequate facilities, less learning media, and less innovative and creative learning methods from the teacher.

Abstract

AbstractThe students’ mastery of SMPN 05 Pontianak in Pythagorean material has many obstacles. This study aims to explain the process of handling obstacles with the approach of Quantum Teaching Structured Contextual Mathematics which in the process of handling will involve students in meaningful learning experiences. The research method is a Qualitative Descriptive research method with a Pedagogic approach. The subjects were 6 students who had the most obstacles in Pythagorean material. The data collection tool used was a test (pretest and posttest) and interview. Based on the results of the analysis of the research found obstacles students in Pythagorean material. The obstacle is understanding in applying and understanding the meaning of the Pythagorean concept. Then the handling is given according to the obstacles found, namely the Quantum Teaching Approach that has the characteristic "TANDUR“. A series of handling processes that are given namely by creating learning experiences that are linked in the lives of students can handle obstacles and help them find meaning from the concepts learned so that students' mastery in Pythagorean's material improves. It can be seen from them that they have been able to explain the steps to resolve the problem given correctly.Keywords: Contextual Mathematics, Quantum Teaching, Learning Obstacles, Pythagorean Theorem

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated because of the uniqueness of the jepin rajut sempurong dance in terms of dance movements, accompaniment music, dance gender, property, floor patterns, as well as clothing and make-up. This research uses descriptive methods, qualitative research forms and a choreographic approach. Sources of research data in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation of sources, namely Rahmani Hassan, Muslimin and Dedi. The technique of testing the validity of the data uses triangulation of sources with data analysis techniques that are structured and analyzed systematically. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that the structure of the presentation of the jepin rajut sempurong Dance is serimbu village. Jepin rajut sempurong is a spectacle dance in serimbu village, this dance is performed by 9 dancers, 1 male dancer as a perfect dance, the musical instruments used to accompany thisdance are lute and tambourine, kompang and rhyme rhyme, jepin rajut sempurong dance uses rope properties, this dance uses a vertical and circular floor pattern, this dance uses a vertical and circular floor pattern, this dance uses realist make-up,clothes worn by female dancers with a traditional bay shirt, black cloth pants, skullcap, and cloth, songket.Keywords: Presentation structure, Jepin Rajut Sempurong dance

Abstract

This study is a research that aims to analyze the perception of brandequity elements and their relationship with customer loyalty of Eigerproducts to students of Economics Education FKIP Untan. Themethod used in this study is a qualitative research approach, namelyresearch procedures that utilize descriptive data in the form of writtenor spoken words from observable people and actors. The form ofresearch used is a case study. The object of this research is theeconomic education student of FKIP Untan who has previously filledout a google form to complete pre-research data and is looking forEiger users with the criteria of having at least 2 Eiger products. Thenumber of students who became informants in this study were 11people. The results obtained are all elements of brand equity havepositive perceptions of users, in this case students of EconomicsEducation FKIP Untan.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the role of the choach teacher in online shop interaction at SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat. The research method used was descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data sources in this study were the guidance teachers and students. The scope of the research includes associative interaction patterns in the form of cooperation and bargaining. Data collection techniqued with observation guides, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the research prove that: The guidance teacher plays a very good role in directing students to entrepreneurship online, this can be seen from the cooperation directed by the guidance teacher in dividing students into groups, the duties and responsibilities of each member, and always guiding student entrepreneur groups. Bargaining which is directed by the guidance teacher can be seen from the marketing of students on social media and controlling the buying and selling prices of students through social media WhatsApp and Facebook which are going very well.Keywords : The role of the guidance teacher, Entrepreneurial interactions, online shop

Abstract

ABSTRAK This study aims to determine the effect of drill practice on smash accuracy in athletes aged 11-12 years at PB.Kiber Sambas. This study uses an experimental method with the design of "One Group Pretest Posttest Design". The population in this study were PB. Kijang Berantai Sambas badminton athletes, totaling 12 athletes. The test instrument used for the initial measurement (pretest) and the final measurement (posttest) used a smash accuracy test. The results of the athlete's ability consisting of 12 samples obtained the pretest results for an average of 63.53, the lowest score was 50, the highest score was 72 with a standard deviation of 4.072 and the posttest results for an average of 66.2, the lowest score was 66, the highest score was 81 with standard deviation 5.055. Based on the results of the research data analysis, it can be stated that during the pretest, the score of smash ability was lower than the final test (posttest), so based on the results of the research and analysis of the influence test that has been done, it can be concluded that there is an effect of drill practice on smash accuracy. badminton athlete at PB Kiber Sambas.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to determine the effect of using the Apron Number media on the introduction of the concept of numbers for children aged 4-5 years at TK Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Pontianak. This study used a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The sample of this research is class A1 and A2, amounting to 14 children each as the experimental group and the control group. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentation and used descriptive analysis. The results of this study explained that the t value was 2.148, while the t value (table) with a significance level of 5% for one side and 0.025 (for two sides) with 26 degrees of freedom was 2.056. Because the value of t_count> t_ (table) (2.148> 2.056), the null hypothesis was rejected. Furthermore, there is an effect of the use of the Apron Number media on the introduction of the concept of numbers for children aged 4-5 years at Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kindergarten, Pontianak. If calculated using the coefficient of determination the effect is 81.90%. The conclusion, that the Apron Number media has an effect on the introduction of the concept of child numbers. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to obtain a picture of instilling discipline in class VIII B students of SMPN 11 Pontianak during online learning. This study focuses on determining efforts made by social studies teachers to instill discipline in students during online learning. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions and verification, and tested for validity using data triangulation and theoretical triangulation techniques. Based on the results, students‟ discipline is determined by two factors, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors include fear of being bullied, laziness, habits, and difficulty understanding the learning materials. Meanwhile, external factors include the role of parents, teachers, and schools. Efforts made by the teachers in instilling discipline in students include being good examples and role models for students, providing motivation and positive reinforcement for them, and providing sanctions to students who violate the code of conduct.
