Abstract

Abstarct This study discusses the improvement of reading comprehension skill using the Cooperative Interated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method in class VII students of Bawari Islamic Middle School in 2019/2020 academic year. This study aim to describe the application of the Cooperative Interated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method in class VII students. This study carried out a descriptive study with qualitative and quantitative forms. The research was conducted in two cycles, starting with a pretest and continued with the implementation of cycle one and cycle two. Data collection is done by carrying out test in each research cycle. The results of the analysis showed tha the reading comprehension ability of students increased in each cycle, as evidenced by the pretest result with an average value of 62.13, cycle one with an average value of 69.13, and cycle two with an average value of 78.38.Keywords: Ability; Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) ; Reading Comprehension.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile and causes of students' misconceptions on Newton's Law material at SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted with a research population taken randomly, namely class X IPA 1 and X IPA 3 with a total of 66 students. The instrument used in this study is a three-tier diagnostic test accompanied by CRI with 15 questions and the causes of misconceptions can be identified by interviewing students. From the diagnostic tests that have been carried out, the results show that students in class X IPA 1 and X IPA 3 have misconceptions. Based on the results of data analysis, the highest misconception is found in item number 12 with 42 students and the lowest misconception is in item number 1 with 16 students. Based on the results of interviews, it was found that the causes of students' misconceptions include preconceptions, associative thinking, students' abilities and students' learning methods that are not correct.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out and describe the learning obstacles experienced by students in solving math problems in SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak. The intended learning obstacles are epistemological obstacles. Learning obstacles experienced by students are seen when students solve problems. Mistakes made by students in completing problems are grouped into the Watson Error Criteria. After that will be known factors that cause students to experience learning obstacles. The research method used in this research is descriptive method in the form of case study research. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques with data collection tools using diagnostic tests in the form of tru-false questions and conducting interviews with students who make mistakes. The subjects in this study were the 10th grade students of Natural Sciences 4 of SMA 7 Pontianak many as 29 students. The results of this study indicate that (1) Types of errors made by students based on the Watson Error Criteria include inappropriate data, inappropriate procedure, omitted conclusion. (2) Students who make mistakes experience epistemological obstacle specifically conceptual obstacle. The conceptual obstacle in question is that students are not able to explain the concept of rank in particular (3) Factors that cause students to experience obstacles in solving problems are social factors. Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of use of learning media, especially in the Civics Class III elementary school subjects, and there are difficulties in understanding the meaning of the Garuda Pancasila symbol because the material is quite a lot but the media used is still less attractive. So that students quickly feel bored and less active in participating in PPkn learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the design of digital book media for the meaning of the Garuda Pancasila symbol. This study uses the Design and Development (D&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results of this study resulted in a product in the form of a digital book media material meaning the Garuda Pancasila symbol for grade III elementary school. In designing digital book media, it is carried out through two stages including the analysis and design stages. The analysis stage is the initial stage to determine user needs for learning media. The design stage is carried out to design and create digital book media material about the meaning of the Garuda Pancasila symbol according to user needs based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out the influence of experimental learning methods on children’s science skills in TK Tunas Cahaya. The research method used is quantitative with quasi experimental design approach with the from nonequivalent control group design. The study sample included all children in TK Tunas Cahaya with a total of 12 childern. Research instruments are using observation sheets and checklists. Data collection tools use observation techniques and documentation technique. Based on the results of the analysis showed a difference in final results ehere the experimental class with a score of 90 compared to the control class with a score of 74. The Wilcoxon match pairs test calculation using SPSS for windows version 23 shows a Z value of - 2,214 and Asymp. Sig (2 tailed) of 0.027 with calculation conditions ˃ so accepted. Because ˂ that is 0.027 ˂ 0.05 then rejected and accepted. So, it can be conclude that there is an influence of experimental learning methods on children’s science skill in TK Tunas Cahaya.Keywords: Experimental Learning Methods, Science Skills

Abstract

This research aims to find out about Indonesian language acquisition in children with special needs (Down Syndrome) case study of Ahmad Zakir Ma Arif, psycholinguistic studies. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative research form. The data source of this research is obtained directly from the subject of a child with Down syndrome, the research data is Indonesian sentence patterns in accordance with the formulation of the selected problem. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, documentation, and interviews. The data collection tools used are recording devices, stationery. After that, the results of the analysis show that declarative sentences (news) are 20 sentences, imperative sentences (orders) are 10 sentences. Interrogative sentences (question) as many as 3 sentences. From the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, the most dominant sentence obtained by children with Down syndrome is a declarative sentence, actually children with Down syndrome understand what other people say, but they only have difficulty pronouncing words to answer what other people say, therefore parents must early train and conduct therapy for children with Down syndrome.

Abstract

AbstractLanguage has an important role in both spoken and written. every language has meaning. The unit of meaningful language form is a lexeme. The purpose of this study is to describe the culinary lexicon in the Padang Tikar Malay community including the form of the lexicon, lexical meaning, cultural meaning, and implementation in Indonesian language learning in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. The research form used was qualitative with descriptive method. The source of data in this study is the speech of the native Malay community of Padang Tikar. Data collection techniques used are face-to-face, note-taking, and recording techniques. Techniques to test the validity of the data are referential adequacy and triangulation. Based on the analysis of the results of the data found as many as 60 data on the culinary lexicon which is divided from 27 forms of lingual units in the form of phrases 32 monomorphemic data 17 lexical meaning data 7 cultural meaning data . This study describes a lesson plan that will be carried out in schools using the Indonesian language lesson plan 2013 curriculum class VII odd semester regarding procedural text.Keywords: lexicon, cullinary art, Malay Society Padang Tikar

Abstract

This research aims to determine the results of the analysis of the pantun in antar cikram tradition on the premarriage of the Pemangkat Malay community. The research method used is descriptive with the form of qualitative research. This research uses structural approach, semiotic approach, and sociological approach to literature. The data source of this research is pantun in antar cikram tradition spoken by pantun speakers. Data collection techniques using direct observation techniques. The results of this research are the structure, meaning, and function of the pantun in antar cikram tradition. The structures found were diction, imagery, concrete words, figurative languange, rhyme, theme, feeling, tone and atmoshphere, and mandate. The meanings found are denotative meanings and connotative meanings. The functions found are recreational, didactic, aesthetic, morality, and religious functions. Pantun in antar cikram tradition on the premarriage of the Pemangkat Malay community there are 32 pantun with the presentation of text editing and text translation at two antar cikram tradition events. Based on results of data analysis, there are 217 data on the structure of the pantun, 32 data on the meaning of the pantun, and 26 data on the function of the pantun.

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this study is "The Effect of Hyperreality in Social Media on the ConsumptiveLifestyle of Public High School Students in Pontianak City". The purpose of this study isto describe the influence of hyperreality in social media on consumptive lifestyles thatoccur among state high school students in Pontianak City. The results of this study provethe use of social media supports activities, interests, and opinions in shaping andimproving the consumptive lifestyle of state high school students in Pontianak City.Hyperreality in social media also has a contribution in the daily lives of state high schoolstudents in Pontianak City. In the hypothetical test with a significance level of 5% of thetwo-party test and dk = 341 - 2 = 339, obtained thitung > ttabel (9,486 > 1,960) thenH1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Furthermore, the correlation test rhitung= 0.458 withan alpha coefficient of 0.400 < R < 0.599 can be said to be quite strongly correlated.Based on the coefficient of determination and from the regression test output obtaineddetermination (R Square) of 0.210 with the understanding that hyperreality in socialmedia (X) affects consumptive lifestyle (Y) with a value of 21%, the rest is influenced byvariables not studied in this study.Keywords: hyperreality, social media, consumptive lifestyle

Abstract

Traditional games at this time are rarely done even traditional games are almost forgotten and rarely participate in competitions. The absence of teacher innovation and creativity will result in children feeling bored, less enthusiastic, and unable to foster joy and fun in children. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of traditional game learning at SDN 6 Sungai Pinyuh and the desire / interest of students in traditional games at SD Negeri 6 Sungai Pinyuh. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. Descriptive research aims to provide an overview of learning traditional games at SDN 6 Sungai Pinyuh. Data analysis with a quantitative approach was used to analyze the data from the questionnaire. The results of the traditional game research can be said to be "good" with an overall score of 1) 1st grade elementary school students 73% can be said to be "good 2) 2nd and 3rd grade elementary school students 95% can be said to be "very good" 3) 4th grade elementary school students 91% can said to be "very good" 4) grade 5 and 6 elementary school students 94% can be said to be "very good"
