AbstractThe Ability to Read Early Childhood Ages 5-6 years at PAUD Permata Umi, Tanjung Paoh Village, Pinoh Utara District, Melawi Regency”. Essay. Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program. Department of Education Science. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Tanjungpura University. Pontianak. Advisor I: Dr. Fadillah, M. Pd. Advisor II : Lukmanulhakim, ST, M. Pd. This study aims to determine the Early Reading Ability of Children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Permata Umi, Tanjung Paoh Village, Pinoh Utara District, Melawi Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were 5 (five) children aged 5-6 years consisting of 2 (two) boys, 3 (three) girls. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation, the results of this study explained that the pre-reading abilities of children aged 5-6 years at Permata Umi PAUD were still diverse in their ability to recognize letters and the ability to arrange letters into syllables from 5 ( five) children who were taken as samples were only 1 (one) one child who could actually recognize letters and arrange letters into syllables and the other four were still lacking.Keywords: Abilit, Beginning, Reading

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe teaching and learning models applied by the teacher in EFL teaching. The researcher conducted a descriptive study in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya by involving an English teacher. In collecting research data, classroom observation and interview were conducted to identify teaching and learning models. The result revealed that teaching and learning model the teacher used were Discovery Learning and Inquiry-Based Learning. The teacher did not follow the model steps consistently but the teacher still followed the Scientific Approach. The teacher applied the teaching and learning models to help the students to become more active during the learning process and it had been proven that these activities could help teacher and students in EFL teaching and learning.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the problems faced by students in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in class V of 34 Pontianak City Elementary Schools. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with the form of survey research. Data collection tools in this study used a questionnaire observation sheet, interview guides, and documentation. The results showed that in online learning students experienced several problems in learning. The problem experienced by students themselves is that students do not take the time to read books and repeat the material that has been given. Students do not do much learning activities because they are not with their teachers and friends. The last problem is that students are often given individual assignments by the teacher without clear explanations. In carrying out learning, the teacher carries out online learning using the WhatsApp application. Teacher assessment is only in the form of knowledge.Keywords: Learning Problem, Online Learning, The Pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find: 1) Compensation for SKUB employees, 2) Job satisfaction of SKUB employees, 3) The effect of compensation on SKUB employee job satisfaction. The form of this research is a correlation/associative study with a quantitative approach. The population is SKUB (General Monthly Employee Status) employees who work at PT Gapura Alas Makmur-Kebun Makmur Sentosa (PT GAM-KMS) in Tebedak Village, Landak Regency. A sample of 118 employees was obtained using a proportional random sampling technique. The data collection method uses questionnaires or questionnaires which are distributed directly to respondents and uses documentation methods to complete the data needed to conduct research. The analysis was carried out using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this research show that: 1) The effect of providing compensation to SKUB employees is very high with a percentage of 87.97%. 2) SKUB employee job satisfaction in the company is classified as high with a percentage of 88.26%. 3) Compensation has an influence on SKUB job satisfaction at PT Gapura Alas Makmur-Kebun Makmur Sentosa (PT GAM-KMS) in Tebedak Village, Landak Regency by 39.2%. Based on the SPSS results, a sig value = 0.000 0.05 was obtained, so it was rejected and accepted. This means that "There is a significant influence between compensation on job satisfaction of SKUB employees at PT Gapura Alas Makmur-Kebun Makmur Sentosa (PT GAM-KMS) in Tebedak Village, Landak Regency."

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to see the traditional game of engklek can develop gross motor skills in early childhood in Simpang Tiga Village, North Kayong Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative research form. The subjects in this study were 5 early childhood and 6 community leaders. The data tool used observation sheets, interviews and documentation. The results showed that: (1) When the child walks and stands long enough to maintain his balance, (2) Running can be done by fostering foot speed and taking stances so that the child can add well to the further ones, (3) ) Jumping can be done by planning in advance and using one leg with the balance adjustment so that at the appropriate time one child's leg does not fall, (4) Throwing can be done by throwing target operations such as distance and weakness so that when throwing it right into the box desired down.Keywords: Engklek Games, Gross Motor Development

Abstract

Online learning is learning that is carried out online, using learning applications and others social network. Whit online learning it is expected to be able to achieve better student Grade Point Average (GPA) result. The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out how online learning is carried out for Economics Education students at FKIP UNTAN. (2) To find out the GPA of Economics Education students in implementing online learning at FKIP Untan. (3) To find the effect of online learning on the Grade Point Average (GPA) of FKIP Untan students. In this study, researcher used a quantitative approach to the survey method. The technique used is indirect communication. The data collections tool used is a questionnaire. The result of the study show that there is no influence between online learning and the Grade Point Average (GPA), which can be seen from the result of a simple linear regression, namely trhough the t test, the magnitude is 0.05. Known it is that t count is -0.981 and a significance of 0.332. Meanwhile the result obtained for t table were 2.014. Thus, it is known that the value of t count t table (-0.9812.014), and a significance of 0.05 0.0332 then Ha is rejected.

Abstract

AbstractManaging students is very important to be implemented at schools in order that the school quality can be improved. The aim of managing students was to manage student activities in order that the activities support the learning process at schools where the learning process can run smoothly, orderly, and regularly to enable students learn optimally. Considering the objectives and benefits of managing the students, the quality of education organisation or schools including Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama (SPK) try their best to manage their students. The purpose of this study was to obtain descriptive information about the management of students with research aspects about analyzing the needs of prospective students, planning prospective students, recruiting prospective students, selecting prospective students, placing prospective students, and career guidance for students to improve quality output of SMA Tunas Bangsa Kubu Raya as an SPK in West Kalimantan. This study found that the management of students in SMA Tunas Bangsa Kubu Raya was done through aspects of management of students. An analysis of the needs of prospective participants was carried out by the principal with the foundation by considering the ratio of teachers and students. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning process during the covid 19 pandemic on the Class X Geography learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Menyuke. The research was conducted on the basis of problems arising from the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic on the activities of educators and students in the geography learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Menyuke. The method used is descriptive in the form of a qualitative approach. The informant research is the principal of SMAN 1 Menyuke, a geography teacher, and class X Social Studies students. This data collection was conducted using interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was data reduction. The results of the research are the geography learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Menyuke during the covid-19 pandemic was using online learning by using the WhatsApp application. The reason for using this WhatsApp application is that this application is very suitable for use in areas with limited internet networks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the change in the use of agriculturalland (rice fields) to non-argicultural land (settments) in Sengah Temila sub district in 2009-2019and find out the factors that influence changes in the use of agricultural land (rice fields) to non-agricultural land (settlements) in the district of Sengah Temila. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The source of the data in the research is Google Earth, SHP data for the administrative map of the Sengah Temila sub district, Landsat image of the year 2009-2019. Data analysis technique using overlay analysis (overlpping), two dimensional matrix analysis, and simple linear regression analysis, the result of this study is that the change in the use of paddy fields to housing is evenly distributed with different levelsof distribution in each village of the Sengah Temila sub district in 2009-2019, the development of the population’shousehold is a factor that influences the change in the us of agricultural land into non-agricultual land in the sub district of Sengah Temila In 2009-2019.

Abstract

AbstractThis research deals with linguistics and is focused on the semantic field, namely the field of meaning. This study aimed to describe the components of meaning and the types of meanings contained in the field of meaning of the weaving activities of the Malay people of Sambas. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The form of research used is qualitative research. The data used in this study was the source of data in this research is the Sambas Malay language which is spoken by informants to provide information about weaving activities. Data collection techniques in this study were fishing techniques, proficiency at hand, note, record. Data collection tool in this study is the researcher as a key instrument. In addition, researchers also used list of questions, note sheets, recording tools. Based on the results of field analysis, the meaning of weaving activities was divided into 2 parts, namely weaving activities using tools and weaving activities not using tools. Components of the meaning of the lexeme of weaving activity in the Malay language Sambas were divided based on the semantic characteristics of the actor, body position, tools, time, results, goals, and texture. It was found that in the Sambas Malay language there are 10 leksem in the field of meaning of weaving activity and 2 in the collocative field.Keywords: field of meaning, weaving activity, semantics
