Abstract

This research was conducted because of researchers' concerns about the authenticity of Jepin Tali Bintang Dance property in Kalimas Village, which in the future does not rule out change. Therefore, this study aims to determine the shape and meaning that needs to be revealed in terms of the unique in Jepin Tali Bintang dance property. The method that is utilized is descriptive method with qualitative research and also semiotic approach. The collection technique in the form of observation, interview, and documentary study. Data validation technique that is used by conducting the extended observation and triangulation source. Based on the data analysis can be concluded that the meaning of Jepin Tali Bintang Dance property has a message that wanted to be delivered to the society in Kalimas Village especially to the muslims. Jepin Tali Bintang Dance property with pentagon shape where has which is means the five Pillars of Islam. The yellow painting property symbolize Pontianak Kadariah Palace. The property hanging above the dancer depicts the stars in the sky, the 8 of ropes that is used mean sense of kinship that connecting to each other. The various colors on the rope consists of 4 colors, namely white, red, yellow and green, each color has a different meaning. The meaning of all Jepin Tali Bintang properties are interconnected with each other and has related with the daily life of the people in Kalimas Village, especially for Muslims.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of research at the MA Nurul Falah school is to improve learning outcomes that are a problem for teachers and students by using the team games tournament learning model. The research was conducted at the school of MA Nurul Falah Teluk Pakedai, Kubu Raya Regency in class XI with 38 students. Researchers used descriptive methods, more precisely classroom action research. The techniques used are direct observation techniques, direct communication techniques, measurement techniques and finally documentary techniques and instruments used are observation, interview guides, learning outcomes and documentaries. This study used 2 cycles, in the first cycle the average score was 70.26 and 21 students succeeded in achieving the KKM completeness only 55.26% and 17 participants did not reach the KKM completion as much as 44.74%. And in the second cycle there was an increase of 13.42 now to 83.68 and categorized as high, 30 students succeeded in reaching the KKM with a completeness percentage of 78.95% and only 8 participants did not reach the KKM incomplete only 21.05%, Data analysis shows that there is a change in results learning got better and improved after using cooperative learning team games tournament in class XI MA Nurul Falah Teluk Pakedai. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the preparation, implementation, and barriers to implementing the zoom meeting application in class V thematic learning at Al-Azhar 21 Islamic Elementary School Pontianak. The research method used is qualitative research. The data sources of this research are documentation related to thematic learning through zoom meetings, observation results from the documentation and the results of interviews with teachers. Data collection technique This research is documentation, interviews and observations. Research result shows that the preparations made have been good because they meet the components preparation of learning through a zoom meeting, namely the Implementation Plan Learning, preparing learning materials, preparing methods learning that will be used, determine the type of learning media, and set up a meeting link. Likewise with the implementation of learning through the zoom meeting this went well because it was appropriate between RPP and implementation. Barriers to learning through zoom meeting, which is an unstable network, student discipline in learning, as well as the resilience of students when learning.Keywords: Implementation, Thematic Learning, , Zoom Meeting.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to describe (1)planning (2)implementation and (3)theutilization of cognitive assessment in thematic learning of students in fifth grade ofSDN 27 Pontianak Utara. This research used descriptive research method with aqualitative approach. The subject of the research was the fifth-grade teacher ofSDN 27 Pontianak Utara which consisted of two people. Data collectiontechniques in this research were observation, interviews, and documentation. Dataanalyses in this research were data collection, data reduction, data presentation,and verification/ conclusion drawn. Based on the data analysis, the results are: atthe planning stage, cognitive assessment had generally been carried out in linewith the Assessment Guidelines for Elementary Schools (SD) although there wereshortcomings, there was no technical planning and assessment form; at the stageof implementing cognitive assessment in thematic learning was generally carriedout in accordance with the Assessment Guide for Elementary Schools (SD)although there were shortcomings, namely the absence of problem analysis,besides that the assessment was not carried out face-to-face but questions weredistributed to students for them to perform those at home; and at the stage ofutilizing cognitive assessment in thematic learning, it has not provided remediallyand enrichment for students.Keywords: Cognitive Assessment, Description, Thematic Learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas media Wordwall dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasarterhadap konsep rantai makanan pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini mencakup penggunaan media berbasis teknologi sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep abstrak dalam pembelajaran sains. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretestposttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok: kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media Wordwall dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemahaman konsep rantai makanan yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, serta angket minat belajar untuk mengukur motivasi siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji statistik, khususnya uji t, untuk melihat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest di kedua kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa di kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan pemahaman yang lebih signifikan dibandingkan siswa di kelas kontrol. Penggunaan media Wordwall secara signifikan meningkatkan minat belajar serta pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep rantai makanan, terbukti melalui perbedaan signifikan dalam skor tes. Berdasarkan hasil ini, disarankan agar guru memanfaatkan media interaktif seperti Wordwall dalam pembelajaran IPAS untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan pengembangan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi lainnya yang dapat diterapkan dalam berbagai mata pelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

AbstractThe three common verbs in Chinese are “chuan”, “dai” and “yong”. They have the same semantics but different specific usages. Therefore, Chinese learners often misuse these three words. In order to understand the mastery condition and analyse the difficulties of students on using the verbs of “chuan”, “dai” and "yong” on the Chinese Language students of Tanjungpura University in academic year 2019, the author used a test method to examine student and analyses the difficulties of “chuan”, “dai” and “yong”. The test results show that the percentage of correct answers for the word “chuan” is 48,42%, the percentage of correct answers for the word “dai” is 57,84% and the percentage of correct answers for the word “yong” is 62,83%. From the results obtained by the author, we can know that they have a better grasp of “yong” and “dai” than “chuan”.Keywords: Verbs, “chuan”, “dai” and “yong”, The Condition of Mastery

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 11 Pontianak, with six research informants one economics teacher in class XI IPS and five students in class XI IPS 2 who experienced difficulties in solving economic HOTS questions which aims to find out the types of difficulties faced by students in solving economic HOTS questions. In this research, the method used is a qualitative case study, and the data collected through tests and interviews. The data analysis process was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the difficulty of students in solving HOTS questions in economic subjects on national income material was divided into 4 difficulties based on Polya's stages (1) Difficulty understanding the problem, the difficulty lies in the lack of ability for students as a whole understand the problem and could not write the steps needed to solve the question. (2) Difficulty making the solution plan, Trouble lies with the inability of students to include the formula used problems and they incorrectly applied the equation used to solve problems. (3) Difficulty implementing the plan, the difficulty lies in the lack of understanding of the concept in understanding the steps of solving any problems and less understanding of the question.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how much the effects of school environment have a relationship on students learning motivation on 8 th J students in MTs N 2 Pontianak. The method is a quantitative approach by using descriptive analysis (correlation study). Research population and sample was the 8 th J students in class. Therefore, the instrument of data collection was using questionnaire. According to the results of data analysis it showed that: 1) School environment consists of 3 aspects they are teachers, physicals environment and social environment with few of indicators in each of the aspects. Therefore, the school environment in MTs N 2 Pontianak in the middle level with amounts of 25 by the percentage 67%. 2) Learning motivation consists of 2 aspects they are intrinsic and extrinsic motivation with few of indicators in each of the aspects. Therefore, students’ learning motivation in 8th J class is in the middle level by the percentage 67%. 3) Based on the data analysis the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,833 means 83, 3%. Adjusted R Square 0,685 means that school environment gave significant effects on students’ learning motivation by the percentage 68, 5%, while the remaining 31, 5% affected by the other factors.Keywords: School environment, Learning motivation, Social Science subject (IPS)

Abstract

This study aims to determine Social Changes towards Character Education in children in Rt 059/ Rw 013 Perumnas Roban, Central Singkawang District, Singkawang City. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research. The research sample was 42 children of Rt 059/ Rw 013. The data collected was in the form of a questionnaire consisting of four indicators, namely Social Changes in Association, Social Changes in Communication, Social Changes Due to Smartphones, and Social Changes in Self-Esteem. Based on the results of data analysis, the frequency of Social Change is 57% (24 children) in the Moderate category. Character education for children in Rt 059 / Rw 013 Perumnas Roban, Singkawang Tengah District, Singkawang City obtained a proportion of 48% (20 children), included in the medium category. The effect of social change on character education is 0.583 with a significance of 0.5%. So that the results obtained tcount ttable, namely 55,892 2,021. Furthermore, there is a positive influence between Social Change on Character Education for children in Rt 059/Rw 013 Perumnas Roban, Central Singkawang District, Singkawang City.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims at the management of the principal's performance to meet the management standards of SMPN 6 Jelimpo. The research method used descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study : 1) The principal's performance planning in meeting the management standards has been fulfilled , 2) Organizing the head of SMPN 6 Jelimpo has compiled an organizational structure in relation to the division of main duties and functions of teachers and socialized 3)Implementation of the performance of the head of SMPN 6 Jelimpo refers to supervision guidelines in the form of managerial supervision instruments ,4) Forms of performance of the head of SMPN 6 Jelimpo namely by conducting managerial supervision by supervisors and academic supervision by the head 5) Evaluation of the performance of the principal of SMPN 6 Jelimpo is carried out in the form of an assessment of the performance of the principal carried out by the supervisor, the assessment of the performance of the teacher carried out by the principal and the achievement of the performance results of the principal and teacher (PNS) in the form of employee performance targets at the end of each year. Keywords:management, management standards, principal performance
