Abstract

This study examines the effects of innovation, competitive advantage, and location on consumers’ purchasing decisions for Kopi Kenangan in Jakarta, with lifestyle serving as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was applied using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. Data were collected through structured questionnaires from 150 consumers who had purchased Kopi Kenangan products in Jakarta. The results indicate that competitive advantage, location, and lifestyle have positive and significant effects on purchasing decisions, whereas innovation has no significant influence, suggesting that consumers do not consider product innovation a key determinant when purchasing Kopi Kenangan. In addition, lifestyle significantly strengthens the relationship between competitive advantage and purchasing decisions but does not moderate the effect of innovation. Lifestyle also negatively moderates the relationship between location and purchasing decisions, indicating that consumers with modern lifestyles place greater emphasis on digital convenience, product quality, and brand reputation than on physical store accessibility. These findings provide valuable managerial and academic implications.

Abstract

Ecoenzyme-based soap, formulated using fermented organic waste, may support household-level waste management and greener cleaning practices. This study examined public perceptions, acceptance, and perceived social and environmental implications of ecoenzyme-based environmentally friendly soap in Lhokseumawe City. A convergent mixed-methods design based on the Theory of Planned Behavior was used. Quantitative data were obtained from 54 questionnaire respondents and analyzed descriptively, while qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with 10 key informants and analyzed thematically using NVivo 12. Community perception was positive (mean = 4.29), with environmental friendliness receiving the highest rating (mean = 4.72). Acceptance was strong (mean = 4.50), led by interest in using ecoenzyme soap as an alternative to conventional soap (mean = 5.00). Family support, perceived ease of use, environmental benefits, and perceived safety were important enabling factors. However, limited technical knowledge, product availability, and affordability may constrain sustained use. The findings indicate that high stated acceptance reflects behavioral intention rather than verified routine adoption. Education on production and use, quality standardization, and improved access are needed to translate favorable perceptions into sustained household practice

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Social Media Marketing, Online Customer Reviews, and Influencer Endorsements on Purchase Decisions, with Consumer Trust as a moderating variable among TikTok Shop users in Jakarta. A quantitative approach was applied using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Data were collected from 165 respondents selected through purposive sampling, consisting of consumers who had purchased products through TikTok Shop and lived in Jakarta. The results indicate that Social Media Marketing, Influencer Endorsements, and Consumer Trust positively and significantly influence purchase decisions. Meanwhile, Online Customer Reviews have a significant but negative effect on purchase decisions. Consumer Trust significantly moderates the relationship between Social Media Marketing and purchase decisions with a weakening effect, while it strengthens the influence of Online Customer Reviews on purchase decisions. However, Consumer Trust does not significantly moderate the relationship between Influencer Endorsements and purchase decisions. These findings highlight the importance of effective digital marketing, credible online reviews, and strong consumer trust in enhancing purchase decisions on TikTok Shop.

Abstract

The financing industry in Indonesia is becoming increasingly competitive, requiring finance companies to strengthen customer loyalty through effective business strategies. This study aims to analyze the effects of innovation, promotion, and competitive advantage on consumer loyalty, with consumer satisfaction as a moderating variable at PT Federal International Finance (FIF). A quantitative approach was employed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 171 consumers selected using purposive sampling. The findings indicate that promotion and consumer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty, whereas innovation and competitive advantage do not significantly influence loyalty. Furthermore, consumer satisfaction negatively moderates the relationship between innovation and consumer loyalty, positively moderates the relationship between competitive advantage and consumer loyalty, but does not moderate the relationship between promotion and consumer loyalty. The novelty of this study lies in integrating innovation, promotion, and competitive advantage simultaneously while positioning consumer satisfaction as a moderating variable to provide a more comprehensive understanding of consumer loyalty in the financing industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Customer Experience and Price Perception on Consumer Loyalty on the TikTok Shop platform with Consumer Satisfaction as a moderation variable. The study uses a quantitative approach with a causality design. The research sample amounted to 110 respondents who were selected using the purposive sampling technique, namely TikTok Shop users who were at least 17 years old and had made purchases at least twice. The data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the study show that Digital Customer Experience does not have a significant effect on Consumer Loyalty, while Price Perception and Consumer Satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on Consumer Loyalty. In addition, Consumer Satisfaction positively moderates the relationship between Digital Customer Experience and Consumer Loyalty, as well as negatively moderates the relationship between Price Perception and Consumer Loyalty, suggesting that satisfied consumers become less price-sensitive. The novelty of this study lies in testing the role of Consumer Satisfaction as a moderation variable in the context of social commerce, and shows that Digital Customer Experience has become a hygiene factor for Generation Z so that it does not directly shape consumer loyalty.

Abstract

Customer loyalty has become a critical factor in maintaining competitiveness within Indonesia's lightweight steel industry, particularly in regions experiencing rapid construction growth such as Bali Province. This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, brand image, and trust on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction serving as a mediating variable among users of Kencana Truss lightweight steel products in Bali. A quantitative research approach with a causal associative design was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 240 respondents selected using purposive sampling, consisting of retail customers, contractors, and building material retailers who had used Kencana Truss products. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that product quality has a positive and significant effect on brand image, customer satisfaction, and trust. Furthermore, brand image and trust significantly enhance customer satisfaction, while customer satisfaction exerts a strong positive influence on customer loyalty. The mediation analysis also confirms that customer satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between product quality and customer loyalty. These results indicate that maintaining consistent product quality not only strengthens brand image and customer trust but also enhances customer satisfaction, ultimately fostering long-term customer loyalty. The study contributes to relationship marketing literature by providing empirical evidence from the Indonesian lightweight steel industry and offers practical implications for manufacturers seeking to improve customer retention through quality management and customer satisfaction strategies.

Abstract

Poverty remains a major development issue in Aceh despite the province's substantial fiscal space through the Special Autonomy Fund. This study aims to analyze how poverty, development actors, and collaborative governance are constructed in the Aceh Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMA) 2025–2029. This study uses a qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm and Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis method . The research data source is the Aceh RPJMA 2025–2029 document, which is analyzed using Fairclough's three dimensions: text analysis, discursive practices, and social practices. The results show that poverty in the Aceh RPJMA is constructed as an issue structurally subordinate to the agenda of Aceh's identity and uniqueness. The discourse of collaborative governance is not strongly and consistently present in the strategic formulation of poverty alleviation policies, in contrast to issues such as health, education, and research-innovation, which explicitly present collaborative narratives. Furthermore, fragmentation of accountability is found through the use of separate poverty indicators between the macroeconomic and social welfare domains without a clear integration mechanism. These findings demonstrate a gap between development rhetoric that ambitiously targets poverty reduction and the limited collaborative institutional design. This research contributes to the development of public policy studies by demonstrating that development planning documents constitute a discursive arena that represents power relations, development priorities, and the construction of policy governance.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of feed cost, farm size, selling price, education level, farming experience, and access to credit on the profitability of sheep farming enterprises in Tegal Regency, Indonesia. A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed using survey data collected from 40 sheep farmers selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS. The findings indicate that all independent variables have positive and statistically significant effects on farm profitability (p < 0.05). Feed cost is identified as the most influential determinant (β = 0.841), followed by selling price, education level, farm size, farming experience, and access to credit. Furthermore, the simultaneous regression analysis confirms that these variables collectively have a significant effect on profitability (F = 356.970; p < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.685) indicates that 68.5% of the variation in farm profitability is explained by the proposed model, while the remaining 31.5% is attributable to other factors beyond the scope of this study. These findings suggest that improving sheep farm profitability requires an integrated strategy emphasizing efficient feed management, appropriate business scale, competitive selling prices, human capital development, and improved access to financial resources. The study provides practical implications for farmers, policymakers, and extension agencies in promoting sustainable and competitive smallholder sheep farming.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Electronic Customer Relationship Management (E-CRM) and corporate reputation on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT Univan Global Logistik. Retaining corporate customer loyalty is a crucial challenge in the competitive logistics industry. A quantitative method was employed by collecting primary data from 190 customer respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that E-CRM and corporate reputation have a positive and significant direct effect on both customer satisfaction and loyalty. Customer satisfaction is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. In the mediation testing, customer satisfaction significantly bridges the effect of corporate reputation on loyalty. However, customer satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between E-CRM and customer loyalty. In conclusion, strengthening reputation and managing digital customer relations directly impact corporate client retention, although satisfaction with E-CRM facilities does not guarantee long-term commitment without the support of operational efficiency on the ground.
