Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the existence of KB/TK Ummahat Aisyiyah Cemani through the implementation of an integrated branding and superior governance strategy. The main problems of partners include weak school branding, limited promotion, conventional governance, and suboptimal community involvement and partnerships. The methods used are participatory, educational, and applicative approaches through the stages of socialization, training and workshops, mentoring, partnership collaboration, and monitoring and evaluation. The programs carried out include parenting activities, coloring competitions and trial classes, grand recitations and social activities, social media development, school governance assistance, and procurement of promotional media. The results of the activity showed an increase in school visibility, parental and community involvement, as well as improvements in a more professional and systematic governance system. The use of social media has also proven effective in expanding the reach of promotion and building a positive image of the institution. In addition, collaboration with various stakeholders strengthens the network's network and the sustainability of the program. Thus, the superior branding and governance strategies implemented are able to increase the existence and competitiveness of KB/TK Ummahat Aisyiyah Cemani. This service model can be a reference for other Early Childhood Education institutions in facing competitive challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

Rural culinary MSMEs frequently face structural constraints in production efficiency, packaging standardization, and technological literacy, limiting their competitiveness in tourism-based markets. This community service program aimed to strengthen production capacity and hygienic packaging practices within the Witpari Culinary MSME Community in Kemuning Village, Karanganyar. The intervention provided two spinner oil-draining machines and five heat sealer units, supported by participatory technical training and mentoring approaches aligned with Participatory Action Research (PAR) principles. A participatory action research framework was applied through needs assessment, intervention design, hands-on implementation, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments. Baseline results revealed low mechanized production literacy (mean score 42.5/100). After intervention, the mean score increased to 81.3/100, with 85% of participants demonstrating independent operational competency. The program resulted in reduced oil residue, improved packaging durability, increased product professionalism, and enhanced technological self-efficacy among participants. Findings confirm that small-scale appropriate technology combined with structured mentoring significantly enhances operational literacy, standardization, and competitiveness of rural MSMEs.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in supporting economic growth and improving community welfare. However, many MSMEs still face challenges in financial management, such as inadequate bookkeeping practices, mixing personal and business finances, and a limited understanding of financial reports. These conditions affect the sustainability and resilience of businesses in facing economic uncertainty and market competition. This community service program aimed to improve the financial management capacity of MSME actors through financial assistance and training activities. The methods used in this program included observation, interviews, socialisation, training, and direct mentoring related to simple financial recording, cash flow management, and preparation of basic financial statements. The activities were carried out through participatory approaches to ensure that participants could understand and apply the materials effectively. The results of the program showed that MSME actors experienced increased understanding and skills in managing business finances, particularly in recording income and expenses, separating personal and business finances, and preparing simple financial reports. In addition, participants became more aware of the importance of financial planning in supporting business sustainability. Therefore, financial assistance activities can contribute positively to strengthening MSME resilience and improving their managerial capabilities in developing sustainable businesses.

Abstract

Environmental awareness in schools plays an important role in supporting sustainable environmental behavior and strengthening the implementation of the Adiwiyata program. SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surakarta is one of the schools that aims to become an environmentally friendly school; however, the school still faces several challenges, including limited environmental awareness among students, inadequate waste management behavior, and the lack of technology utilization in supporting environmental management activities. This community service program aimed to introduce Smart Monitoring Green Action (SMOGRA) and improve pro-environmental behavior among students, teachers, and educational staff at SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surakarta. The methods used in this activity included coordination, environmental socialization, counseling, demonstrations, and interactive discussions. The activities were conducted in several stages, starting from coordination with the school principal, environmental socialization for students, counseling for teachers and staff, and demonstrations of SMOGRA utilization as an Internet of Things (IoT)-based environmental monitoring medium. The results of the activity showed positive responses from participants regarding the implementation of environmentally friendly school culture and the importance of pro-environmental behavior. Students demonstrated enthusiasm during the environmental socialization activities, while teachers and staff showed interest in utilizing technology to support environmental education and school environmental management. The implementation of SMOGRA provided additional understanding regarding the integration of technology and environmental education to support the development of sustainable environmentally friendly school culture.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted at the Branch Leadership of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PCNA) Colomadu, Karanganyar. One of the main challenges faced by PCNA is the absence of activities that encourage adolescents to participate in organizational activities and utilize their youth through positive and productive engagements. Therefore, this program was highly expected by the partner institution to facilitate the establishment of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Sub-Branch Leadership (PRNA) structure in Colomadu. The target community required support in terms of infrastructure and human resources to develop an organization capable of providing benefits to society. The objectives of this community service program were: (1) to establish the PRNA organizational structure; (2) to conduct leadership and digital literacy training; (3) to assist participants in improving their time management skills; and (4) to provide motivation regarding ethical values as Muslim female adolescents. The methods employed in this program included Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), training sessions, and mentoring activities. The outputs of this program consisted of video intellectual property rights (IPR), journal publications, community service reports, media coverage, and documentation uploaded to online media platforms and YouTube.
