Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of human resource management in improving the quality of education at SMA Muslimin Sindangkerta. This type of research uses descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The data collection method used in this study is by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are that the application of human resource management in improving the quality of education at SMA Muslimin Sindangkerta can include several stages including: 1). needs and information analysis, 2). teacher/employee recruitment, 3). employee induction, 4). teacher placement, 5). granting authority and responsibility, 6). implementation of supervision of employee performance, 7). career development, 8). termination of employment and 9). Provision of severance pay. While the supporting factors are 1). The existence of programs run by the school, 2). The existence of facilities and infrastructure that maximize the learning process, 3). The principal has many considerations and 4). There is an evaluation.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media Card Match Circle which is valid and effective in social studies learning in class IV SDN 01 Kandri to increase student learning motivation. Based on the results of observations made, it was found that the lack of motivation to learn in class IV students was due to the limited use of learning media in social studies learning. The research uses development with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation). The data sources in this research were 28 students. Media development Card Match Circle is in the very feasible category with media validation results obtained at 91% and material validation obtained at 85%. The results of product effectiveness are obtained from pretest and posttest with a result of 0.674 which is in the quite effective category. Thus, it can be concluded that learning media Card Match Circle in social studies learning in class IV was declared valid and effective enough to be used in increasing students' learning motivation at SDN 01 Kandri.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems that occurred at SMAN 1 Manonjaya, namely the low student learning outcomes. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The results of the research show that there is a difference in the increase in student learning outcomes seen from the average posttest score for the experimental class of 88.00 and the average score for the control class posttest, namely 72.73. These results prove that comparisons in the experimental class can improve student learning outcomes better than the learning process in the control class with material on international economic cooperation in class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Manonjaya.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of extracurricular activities on the formation of students' civic character using a quantitative approach and correlational research type. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of extracurricular activities on the formation of citizenship character of students of SMAN 7 Mataram. The data used in this study came from a questionnaire/questionnaire distributed to students of SMAN 7 Mataram, which met the standards set by the researcher. The population of SMAN 7 Mataram consisted of 185 students, with 37 students being the research sample. The results showed that extracurricular activities have a positive and significant effect on the formation of students' citizenship character at SMAN 7 Mataram, which means that the more students routinely carry out extracurricular activities, the more the formation of students' citizenship character will increase. The research results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination of this study are 34.4%, which means that the student character formation variable can be explained by the extracurricular activity variable by 34.4%, while the remaining 65.6% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Learning is a process that student must go through every day to achieve the desired goals at school. To achieve this goal, student must be able to follow a series of teaching and learning processes provided by the teacher actively and communicatively. The problem in this research is that students learning motivation is still low. There are still many students who still like to violate academic violations at school. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of contextual teaching and learning in motivating students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, phenomenological type with triangulation techniques. The informants in this research were the school principal, deputy head of curriculum, economics teacher, and 10 students. The sampling technique used was a purposive sampling technique which was adjusted to the research needs criteria. Data collection methods use interviews, observation and documentation. The research result show thar implementing contextual teaching and learning is able to have a positive impact on increasing students learning motivation, making the learning process more enjoyable and easier to understand.

Abstract

This research aims to achieve two objectives. First, to develop the KANYA media as a learning tool for interrogative sentence materials in the Indonesian language subject. Second, to evaluate the effectiveness of this media. The research method adopts the Research and Development ADDIE model, involving analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects consist of 7 third-grade students (4 male and 3 female) at SD 6 Gondangmanis, Bae, Kudus. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and response questionnaires from teachers and students. The research effectiveness is evaluated using a pre-test and post-test design for a single group. The obtained data are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively, using assessment criteria to determine the suitability of the product. The results of this study show that first, the KANYA media has been successfully developed with a score of 4.8 from media experts and 4.3 from subject matter experts, indicating a high level of suitability. Second, both teachers and students responded positively to the KANYA media, with scores of 4.5 and 4.9, respectively. Furthermore, there was an improvement in student understanding from the pre-test (53.05%) to the post-test (74.85%), indicating an increase of 31.38%. Thus, the KANYA media is effectively used as a learning tool for interrogative sentence materials in the third grade at SD 6 Gondangmanis.

Abstract

It is impossible for humans to carry out their role as bearers of the mandate of Allah SWT in this world without communication. Likewise, every parent should talk to their children from childhood, especially about matters related to religious values. Religion functions as identity, a moral source, a guide to truth, and even spiritual guidance for humans. Religious education in the family is very important and mandatory because it will influence children's morality so that they do not fall into promiscuity which is dangerous for their future. Children at an early age experience rapid physical and mental growth. It is very important to encourage children to learn because of this rapid development and growth. This research is research that uses qualitative methods with data collection using interview and documentation techniques. The results of this research are: In the psychology paradigm, there are at least 4 theories related to early childhood development, including social, cognitive and constructivist theories: Social Cognitive Theory, teaches the idea that the social environment is where most human learning occurs. Furthermore, they act according to their beliefs about their abilities and the expected outcomes of their actions. Cognitive Development Theory. teaches that the thought process a person has, which includes their ability to relate, assess, and consider what happens or happens to them. There are 4 stages of cognitive development based on age: a. Sensory (sensory motor) stage, b. Preoperational stage (preoperational), c. concrete operational stage (concrete operational), d. formal operational stage (formal operational), Constructivism theory is a learning theory that aims to encourage students to actively discover and build their own knowledge and improve their abilities and skills independently.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the creativity of students in participating in the National Competition for the Halloween Makeup category. The research subjects were 8 students from 2 private universities, namely 3 students from the Yogyakarta "AKK" Social Welfare Academy and 5 from the Semarang Mother Kartini Welfare Academy The object of this research is students' creativity in implementing the Character Fantasy Makeup course in competitions. The research method uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive interpretative approach because in this research the author presents the creativity of students who take the character fantasy make-up course. The results of this research show an increase in students' creativity which is actualized through the Halloween make-up competition on October 23 2023 which was held by Makeover at Jogya City Mall Yogyakarta by winning the Hope I championship for students of the Yogyakarta "AKK" Social Welfare Academy and Hope II for students of the Ibu Kartini Semarang Social Welfare Academy. Based on this research, it is hoped that more students will be involved in taking part in similar competitions to hone their creative abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning quality through discussion methods and group presentations in productive subjects of Light Vehicle Engineering at SMKN1 Kaligondang. The approach used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a focus on developing productive learning materials through group discussions and presentations held in class XI TKR 3 semester 4 of the 2024/2025 school year. The method used is classroom action research with two cycles. The first cycle involves group discussion activities and presentations, while the second cycle adds the treatment of Achievement Motivation Training. The results of the study showed an increase in students' understanding and skills after group discussions and presentations. In addition, with the addition of Treatment Achievement Motivation Training, students become more motivated and active in the learning process. Data collection was carried out by observation sheets, student activity questionnaires and documentation checklists. The data obtained in this study was analyzed using a descriptive analysis technique with percentages, besides that it was also based on the reflection of each cycle of action. This study involved several variables, namely: 1) the quality of learning materials, 2) students' involvement in group discussions, 3) students' presentation skills, and 4) improvement of light vehicle engineering competence. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in the quality of learning and student competence after the intervention.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes of students in grade XI TP2 SMKN 1 Kaligondang through the Peer Teaching (Peer Tutor) learning method. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed an increase in student learning activity from cycle I to cycle II with an average increase of 8.76%. In addition, student learning outcomes also increased with classical completeness reaching 88.88% in cycle II.
