Abstract

The cassowary consists of various feather colors, rough and shiny black feathers on its body, blue on the neck and scalp, and red wattle on the throat. The beauty of these colors can be adapted into a source of ideas in making fantasy makeup with mixed media techniques. Fantasy makeup is an art that combines creativity, imagination, and makeup techniques to create a certain imaginary form. The creation of fantasy makeup can use various techniques, one of them is mixed media. Mixed media makeup usually involves two or more media combined to produce a work of art in the form of a new image that is completely different from the original form. The purpose of this study is to represent the beauty of the Indonesian archipelago by selecting the magnificent Papuan cassowary birds as a source of ideas for fantasy makeup with mixed media techniques. The research used the R&D method with the ADDIE development model. 1) Analysis: analyzing the source of ideas that inspire the making of products, 2) Design: making a product moodboard, 3) Development: product design in the form of makeup and outfit design, 4) Implementation: making research products in the form of fantasy makeup with cassowary bird idea sources, 5) Evaluation: evaluating the results of products that have been made, namely makeup analysis in the form of analysis of visual elements and design principles. The research produced a product in the form of mixed media fantasy makeup with the source idea of bird adaptation.

Abstract

Teaching variation is a teacher's activity in the learning interaction process which is aimed at overcoming student boredom by creating an environment that encourages and allows the learning process to take place through changes in teaching styles, changing media used, and changes in interaction patterns between students and teachers. This research aims to determine the influence of teacher teaching style on student learning motivation. The problem to be answered is whether there is an influence of the teacher's teaching style on the social studies learning motivation of class X students at SMAN 1 Woja for the 2023/2024 academic year. The type of research used is correlation with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was all students of X SMAN 1 Woja, totaling 155 students and the class sampled was class X SMAN 1 Woja, totaling 18 students. Sampling is sampling carried out with a specific purpose (Purposive Sampling). From the results of the analysis, linearity calculations show that Fcount is 3.06, < Ftable = 3.29, for the significance test, the result is Fcount 11.57 > Ftable 4.49, and from the hypothesis test of the relationship, rcount is 0.650 > Rtable 0.468, the coefficient of determination amounting to r2xy = 0.4225, which means that 42.25% of the influence of the teacher's teaching style can increase student learning motivation, through the regression equation Y = 4.06 + 0.80 X, the remaining 57.25% is determined by other factors. So it can be stated that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the analytical hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

So far, learning history has always been considered boring learning because it is synonymous with memorizing, even though according to some people learning history is very fun if accompanied by strategic accuracy and the use of learning models. According to Hariyano (1995: v-vi) that history in school institutions is not always interesting. Many students consider it to be chronic: One of the causes is the lack of mastery of historical material as well as the teaching methodology mastered by educators. Moreover, not all history subject holders have a historical educational background. In the process of developing learning motivation, students need to stimulate their ability to think logically and systematically. The active debate model can be used to eliminate boredom in students. Because the active debate model is a very important learning model for improving students' academic abilities. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of learning motivation on history students at STKIP Yapis Dompu through the active debate learning model. The research results from the analysis results for hypothesis testing obtained using the SPSS 25 program are tcount -20.99 and ttable = -1.71 with df= 22, then based on the decision criteria if tcount > ttable or tcount < ttable so, -20.99 < -1.71 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the active debate model on student learning motivation.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the method used in teaching mathematics that did not involve students, and the teacher did not link the subject matter to the realities of everyday life so that students did not understand the material being studied. One effort to overcome this is by implementing a learning model that is related to the real world, namely the Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) learning model. The aim of this research is to improve students' critical thinking skills by applying the Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) learning model for class V SD Negeri 03 Mamben Lauk. This research is classroom action research, and was carried out over two cycles. Each cycle consists of four components, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this research were class V students at SD Negeri 03 Mamben Lauk with a total of 23 students, consisting of 10 boys and 13 girls. Data on students' critical thinking abilities was collected using written test techniques in the form of descriptions. Thinking ability data was analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the students' critical thinking skills in cycle I had a classical average of 73.47 and were in the medium category. Meanwhile in cycle II the classical average reached 82.83 and was in the high category. These results prove that the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of class V students at SD Negeri 03 Mamben Lauk.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Bamboo Dancing type learning on student learning outcomes at Mertak Tombok Public Elementary School. This research is experimental research. The technique used is pre and post test with a total of 20 multiple choice questions. The pre-test is carried out before the learning process ends, carried out to determine students' main skills in the material to be studied, which consists of 20 multiple choice questions. The results of this research are that the application of the bamboo dance cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes with a post-test score of 72.28 in the experimental class and 64.25 in the control class. And the results of the independent t test were 0.01 in the experimental class and 0.02 in the control class.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) are related to human power in the education system. Teacher human resources include qualifications, skills, knowledge, attitudes and their contribution to student development and the education system. Considering the dynamics of the world of education, teachers need to have the ability to adapt to respond to changes in curriculum, technology and developing learning methods. In the educational process, teaching and learning is the main activity, and if the teacher is interesting and has good skills then students will be interested and participate in the learning set by the teacher. Teacher performance is a learning process that occurs both outside and inside the classroom. The effectiveness and efficiency of the education system can produce strong and quality human resources. This research aims to determine the development of teaching skills and its impact on teacher performance at Tanjungwangi State Elementary School. The type of research used is a qualitative method. The results of this research show that developing teaching skills, especially those related to the application of technology in learning, is an inseparable part of efforts to improve teacher performance and the effectiveness of the learning process. The development of teaching skills impacts individual teacher performance, but also the effectiveness and overall learning experience of students. the importance of developing adaptive and technology-based teaching skills in increasing the effectiveness of learning and teacher performance.

Abstract

This research aims to apply the alphabet snake and ladder game in an effort to improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 5-6 years at RA Salafiyah. Alphabet snakes and ladders is a game tool that has been modified from the numbers snakes and ladders game to the letters snakes and ladders game. The research method used is classroom action research. The method used uses the Kemmis and Taggart cycle model which consists of four stages (planning, action, observation and reflection). Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show: 1) the application of the alphabet snakes and ladders game in an effort to improve the ability to recognize letters was carried out in two cycles. 2) the results of implementing the alphabet snakes and ladders game in an effort to improve the ability to recognize letters experienced a significant increase and were able to improve the ability to recognize letters at RA Salafiyah Wonoyoso. The increase in the ability to recognize letters seen from pre-action or initial ability was 35%, increased to 54% in cycle I and increased to 81% in cycle II.

Abstract

This research aims to prepare teachers in implementing the Montsessori method in instilling PAI values ​​in children and knowing the successes of teachers in instilling PAI values ​​in children at RA Marzukiyah. Type of qualitative research. The instruments used in this research were the researchers themselves and notebooks. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that in applying the Montsessori method in instilling the values ​​of Islamic religious education in children, there are 2 things that need to be paid attention to, namely preparation and delivery. delivery, communication skills, provoking questions and teaching aids to support the smooth learning process. and the teacher's success in instilling the values ​​of Islamic religious education in children using the Montsessori method in the form of changing attitudes and behavior for the better and children becoming independent.

Abstract

The problem that is answered in this research is, how is the role of serial image media on the ability to write essays of students of grade six elementary school 28 Dompu in the learning year 2022/2023. This thesis is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Research conducted to describe or explain systematically, factually, accurately about the facts or phenomena being investigated. As for the informants who were the source of the data were theachers and sixth grade students. To obtain data, the author uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. And triangulation as evidence of the validity of the data obtained by the outhor. Then the conclusion is: the role of serial image media is able to make students more active because it can encourage students to be able to express ideas, opinions, and imagination to tell stories, and serial image media makes it easier for students to find vocabulary and express the contents of the image in ward a systematic essay.

Abstract

In principle, educational institutions are formal representatives who have authority over staff, students and the surrounding environment.  In contrast, principals can act as managers, supervisors, instructors, administrators, leaders, and innovators.  Improving the quality, efficacy and efficiency of education is the main goal of educational management, which is very important in implementing education.  The implementation of education needs to be carefully planned through stages which include organizing, directing, supervising and planning so that it can function smoothly and produce quality results.  This scientific research aims to determine the managerial leadership of school principals on teacher performance at HIKARI Vocational School, West Bandung Regency, as well as the principal's efforts to improve school management and increase the caliber of teacher performance at HIKARI Vocational School.  A descriptive approach and qualitative research methodology were used to write this scientific research.  The principal of Hikari Vocational School, the deputy head of curriculum and student affairs, and two teachers each served as research subjects.  This research uses documentation, interviews and observation as data collection methods.  First, research findings show that the principal of Hikari Vocational School applies a democratic leadership approach.  Second, the principal uses supervision as one of two strategies to improve the performance of his staff.
