Abstract

This study aimed to know the students’ strategies to decrease anxiety in speaking English class at the sixth semester of the informatics engineering study program. The researcher used descriptive method because it is referred to describe the students’ strategy anxiety. To collect the data, the instrument used in this study are classroom observations and questionnaire. The findings reveal that students engage in positive self-talk, visualization, regular practice, and relaxation techniques to boost their confidence. Peer support and feedback also play significant roles in creating a supportive learning environment. Classroom observations highlight the importance of a positive classroom atmosphere fostered by encouraging lecturers and collaborative activities. Additionally, the use of technology and institutional resources such as counseling services are found to be effective in reducing language anxiety.The questionnaire given includes five strategies namely preparation, relaxation, positive thinking, peer seeking, and resignation. The respondent of this research was the sixth semester of the informatics engineering study program which consisted of 32 students. So the researcher can conclude that the students gave agree about the strategy to reduce anxiety in speaking English. Where the strategy makes students can improve their skills, especially in speaking skills and make the students used the strategy where they speaking English. The research findings showed that students' agreement of Preparation was 101, Relaxation 117, Positif Thinking 121, Peer Seeking 110 and Resignation 108. It can be assumed that the percentage of human experience was 63%, for Preparation, 73% for Relaxation, 75% for Positive Thinking, 68,75 for Peer Seeking and 67,50% for Resignation

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether  weight mallet  training can have a significant effect on long-distance hitting in woodball athletes  in North Musi Rawas Regency. This study is an experimental research with a research design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The total sampling technique with the number of samples is 15 people who are woodball athletes of North Musi Rawas Regency. The procedures for this experimental research are: (1) initial test (2) treatment administration, (3) final test. Based on the results of the T test, the P value (sig.) is 0.030 < 0.05. This result shows that there is a singnifikan effect after being given weight mallet training on the long-distance hitting of woodball athletes  in North Musi Rawas Regency

Abstract

This research aims to describe and determine students' abilities in solving mathematical problems with a focus on learning styles. The research subjects were Class IV students at SD Negeri Tawangmas. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to determine and describe mathematical problem solving abilities in terms of students' learning styles. Data was collected using questionnaires, tests and interviews. The use of questionnaires describes visual learning styles, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. Two test numbers determine the mathematical problem solving ability in the Polya step, and the interview confirms the mathematical problem solving ability. The data analysis techniques are reduction, presentation and verification. Based on the results, this study had 7 respondents with a bias towards visual style 3, auditory style 2 and kinestatic style with literacy skills from the results of the report cards, the average report card score was 76.28 and the standard deviation was 17.03. With problem-solving abilities for each style, namely 1) students with a visual style have the ability to understand problems, organize and carry out them and re-check the results of their work. 2) students with an auditory style have the ability to understand problems, organize and carry out them and review the results of their work. 3) students with an auditory style have the ability to understand problems, organize them, and are unable to carry them out until they are unable to recheck the results of their work.

Abstract

In the world of education, teachers are encouraged to innovate and foster creativity to create new and fun learning processes.  Problems that often occur include the lack of fun digital-based learning media in elementary schools as well as problems with conventional learning processes.  This research aims to develop and design Wordwall-Based Digital Media on Temperature and Heat Material for Class V Elementary School Students that is valid and practical.  The type that researchers use is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation.  Overall the results from expert validation are in the valid category with a percentage of 82%.  Meanwhile, one to one and small group practicality trials were categorized as very practical with percentages of 91% and 93%.  It was concluded that Wordwall-Based Digital Media on Temperature and Heat Material for Class V Elementary School Students was valid and practical to use.

Abstract

A source is said to be credible if it can be trusted. Sometimes it is difficult to determine whether a credible source is trustworthy or not because some of the information presents false information as facts without evidence. Moreover, in today's digital era, we often have difficulty finding credible scientific sources, because the emergence of the internet, news websites, blogs and social media platforms have become increasingly dominant in disseminating information. So it confuses consumers in assessing its credibility. In the digital era, information is very easy to obtain, but this affects the credibility of the information, now it is very difficult to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong, so we need to know how to find credible sources of information such as searching for information in accredited journals or accredited sites such as Google Scholar. Where the site has met the standard criteria for evaluating scientific sources such as having an author, having accuracy, being up-to-date, and being objective.

Abstract

This research aims to improve children's listening skills through audio-visual media at the Alam Anak Negeri Kindergarten for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research was carried out at the Alam Anak Negeri Kindergarten in group B with a total of 17 children, 10 girls and 7 boys. This research uses classroom action research (PTK) techniques. The research subjects were 17 children from group B. The object of this research used data collection techniques, interviews, observation and documentation, the data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative techniques, the research could be said to be successful if it reached a score or criterion of 80%. The results of the research conducted showed that audio visual media in pre-action and pre-cycle only reached 29% in cycle I, increasing to 47% in II, increasing to 82%. So it can be concluded that using audio-visual media can improve children's listening skills as seen from the increasing ability to listen to children, the level of enthusiasm and enthusiasm of children also increases because for children using audio-visual media when learning is very interesting because with audio-visual media children Children can learn to listen to interesting videos, apart from hearing they also see so that children's focus increases and is more interesting. Of course, money videos are shown according to the school theme and according to the child's age. This research was stopped in cycle II because it had reached the success criteria.

Abstract

The education in Indonesia is currently experiencing enormous This research aims to describe the effect of interactive learning media on reading literacy in Indonesian language learning carried out at SDN 03 Mamben Lauk for class III students in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year with a population of 39 students. Sampling was carried out using random sampling technique. This research is a Quasi Experimental Design research with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design experimental research design. Research data on interactive learning media and reading literacy were collected through pre-test and post-test. The data obtained was then analyzed using the SPSS application. The results of this research are that the reading literacy ability of class III students at SDN 03 Mamben Lauk for the 2023/2024 academic year is in the medium category. Based on hypothesis calculations using SPSS, at a significance level of 5%, t = 0.046 and a significance level of 5%. Therefore, t count (0.046) < t table (0.05:14) is 1.761, then Ha is accepted. This shows that the variable interactive learning media on reading literacy in Indonesian language learning has an influence, so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means there is a significant positive influence between interactive learning media on reading literacy in class III Indonesian language learning at SDN 03 Mamben Lauk.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of academic supervision by the principal and implemented by class teachers. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The data sources in this study are documents of academic supervision results carried out by the principal and learning administration documents prepared by teachers. This study was conducted at a Public Elementary School in Masbagik District, East Lombok Regency. Based on data analysis and research results, it can be concluded that the performance of the principal's academic supervision is carried out starting from preparation tasks, implementation, assessment, follow-up plans and reporting in the good and very good categories except for one principal who is still in the sufficient category. The implementation of the results of the principal's academic supervision of the 12 obligations of the learning process can be categorized as good, except for the use of learning media and LKPD (student worksheets) which still need to be improved so that they can improve the performance of teachers at Public Elementary Schools. in Masbagik District, East Lombok Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the make a match model on the unit of time material on the learning outcomes of grade III elementary school students. The research method used in this research is Quasi Experimental Design with posttest only control design type with a total sample of 33 students. The sample in this study was taken using cluster random sampling technique where the entire population was used as a sample in a way where the researcher divided the population into several groups for research. The data collection technique used is an essay test totaling 10 questions. Based on the research results from the final results of the experimental class data, the experimental class has a higher average value than the lower control class, namely the experimental class value of 81.25 while the control class is 65.63. With a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.018 and t table of 0.05, the sig value. (2-tailed) < t table or 0.018 < 0.05. This means that there is an effect of the make a match model on the unit of time material on the learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Concrete media is media in the form of real objects that are around that are used to intermediaries to convey material to students. This study aims to determine the effect of science learning media on the material of changes in the form of objects in class V in elementary school. This research uses experimental research, the method used is Quasi experimental design with the type of posttest only control design. The sample used is cluster sampling in class V.A totaling 24 students and class V.C totaling 26 students. This study conducted a hypothesis test using the t test, namely the independent sample t-test in the experimental class and control class, namely the 2-tailed sig value obtained a value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there is a significant value. Then for the value of tcount = 3.770 > ttable = 1.677 based on the hypothesis testing criteria if tcount > ttable then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of concrete media on science learning outcomes on the material of changes in the form of objects in class V in elementary schools.
