Abstract

Citra merek suatu lembaga berperan penting untuk dikenal oleh banyak calon konsumen dan untuk bersaing dengan kompetitor lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembentukan citra merek melalui pengembangan kewirausahaan di Pondok Pesantren Maskumambang Gresik. Informan pada penelitian ini terdapat 6 orang diantaranya; kepala pondok pesantren, direktur bisnis, guru, siswa, orang tua dan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi di lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa strategi pembentukan citra merek sudah terlaksana dengan baik, Pondok Pesantren Maskumambang Gresik menerapkan strategi dengan pengembangan kewirausahaan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk pembentukan citra merek, pengembangan kewirausahaan juga membentuk popularitas dan kredibilitas lembaga di masyarakat yang mampu menjadi peluang menarik para calon konsumen atau peserta didik baru.

Abstract

Adanya persoalan terkait dengan etika guru yang berkarakter dan profesioanl yang disebabkan karena kurangnya pemahaman tentang etika guru yang berkarakter dan professional, serta pandangan islam terkait penerapan etika guru yang berkarakter dan professional. Sehingga diharpakan agar artikel ini dapat membantu untuk memahami tentang etika guru yang berkarakter dan professional, serta dapat mengetahui cara pengajaran islam dalam menerapkan etika guru yang berkarakter dan professional. Untuk itu artikel ini mebahas tentang pengertian etika guru, karakter guru dan professional guru, serta ajaran islam mengenai etika guru yang dapat membentuk guru yang berkarakter dan professional. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode library research, dengan melakukan pengumpulandata dari berbagai sumber literatur, yang tidak terbatas hanya pada buku, melainkan juga mencakup karya-karya ilmiah lainnya dan dijadikan bahan-bahan pustaka untuk membahas permasalahn yang terkait dengan artikel ini. Dari pembahasan artikel ini didapatakan bahwa Islam telah mengajarkan etika-etika atau akhlak-akhlak yang seharusnya diterapkan pada guru yang berkarakter dan professional dengan memberikan panduan dalam AL-Qur’an dan Hadis serta pemikiran-pemikiran para ulma’ seperti adanya perintah dan larangan yang dijelaskan dalam Al-Qur’an, hadis dan pemikiran Ulama’. Dengan begitu islam dapat mengukir etika guru yang berkarakter dan professional berdasarkan ajaran islam.

Abstract

Indonesia's young generation as the nation's successor is required to be able to adjust to the development of digital technology in the Era of Society 5.0. Digitalization has a huge impact on the character of the younger generation, especially the religious character which is currently fading. The actualization of the first precept towards religious character is needed for the younger generation to improve their spirituality. This study aims to understand the relationship of the first precept to the improvement of the religious character of the younger generation in the 5.0 era. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a mixed approach (Mix Method). This research uses data collection techniques in the form of distributing questionnaires to respondents, which are then reviewed using literature review or literature study from related sources. The results of this study indicate that the actualization of the first precept is an important part of creating a religious character of the younger generation, because it has a strong relevance to one's personality. This study seeks to improve the religious character of the younger generation by implementing the noble values contained in the first precept of Pancasila.

Abstract

The curriculum is a description of what students should learn in school. The curriculum itself includes many subjects and objects to be applied in educational institutions. Teachers, material subjects, students, and many other things are required to achieve worthwhile and useful learning outcomes and then realize the aim of education. The quality of the curriculum is important to the success of education in order to create students who become good people in society. This paper discusses the concept of quality in curriculum education in general. The aim of the research is to clarify the perception of curriculum quality based on references to international and national curricula. The authors used qualitative research with literature review technique compilation data. This paper summarizes the views and perceptions of national curriculum and UNESCO curriculum quality by analyzing the curriculum implemented in Indonesia. The result revealed that the quality of the curriculum has four criteria (development, the curriculum, the implementation, and evaluation) that are then developed to obey the education national standard (SNP): competence of graduates standards, contents standards, process standards, and assessment standards. Based on the data, almost 70% of the implementation of the development and improvement of the Merdeka Indonesia curriculum is going well. To date, there are 293,373 formal education units that have implemented the Merdeka curriculum optimally.

Abstract

Islamic education is the fundamental basis in making the character and identity of Muslims to always flourish open alongside the development of the times. The complexity of the challenges of Islamic education in the issues of modern society, in order to remain relevant and effective then need adaptation and innovation. The aim of this article is to know and understand Islamic education by integrating science with the values of spirituality as a strategic step in building a generation of Muslims in accordance with the demands of the times. Through a literature review approach, the study analyzes literature related to how to identify gap research and objects to be tackled in the implementation of Islamic education. The results of the research indicate that the concept of Islamic education developed by Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas is still relevant to Islamic Education today, namely by developing the potential of the students to be believing and fearful of the One God, being noble, healthy, knowledgeable, competent, creative, independent, and becoming a democratic and responsible citizen. This concept is also in line with the national educational objectives.

Abstract

The principal is a leader figure in the school environment. The principal’s transformational leadership has an influence on the reading literacy culture in the school environment. Researchers in this study collected data from library data and from journals and books which are better known as library studies.researchers analyze research content related to the theme being researched to draw conclusions. The research result show that the principal’s transformational leadership builds a good and efficient literacy culture. The principal’s transformational leadership is able to change the school’s potential to have a high literacy culture. The ability possessed by the principal’s transformational leadership is in the form of innovation ability, innovation is useful for encouraging the emergence of new breakthroughs in education. The motivation, motivation is useful for encouraging student’s enthusiasm in the educational process and fostering the work ethic of their educators. And inspiration, inspiration is useful for fostering high passion for all school staff. The school principal’s transformational leadership abilities are able to have an effect on students and girls in the school to enjoy reading and in general can foster a culture of literacy for all members of the school.

Abstract

Satuan pendidikan pada seluruh jenjang pendidikan dalam penyelenggaraannya diatur oleh standar pendidikan yang berlaku di daerah tersebut, di Indonesia standar nasional pendidikan menjadi acuan standar mutu pendidikan berskala nasional. Salah satu standar pendidikan yakni, standar pengelolaan pendidikan termasuk diantaranya pemasaran satuan pendidikan di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep dari bauran pemasaran oleh satuan pendidikan perguruan tinggi islam untuk menciptakan superior customer value bagi masyarakat. Marketing mix atau bauran pemasaran menjadi langkah penting yang harus dilakukan oleh satuan pendidikan, terdapat 7 aspek dalam bauran pemasaran diantaranya; product, place, price, process, promotion, people, phyisical evindence. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode literature review, peneliti mengkaji dan mengananalisis 20 referensi terakhir (2015-2024) yang relevan dengan objek kajian penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktualisasi marketing mix pada perguruan tinggi islam di Indonesia terus mengalami perkembangan pesat ditinjau dari laporan jumlah perguruan tinggi yang terus mengalami peningkatan 0,37% , data pada tahun 2016 terakhir terdapat 699 perguruan tinggi islam dan hari ini pada tahun 2024 terdapat 964 perguruan tinggi. Peningkatan jumlah satuan pendidikan dipengaruhi oleh konsep marketing mix tiap lembaga yang memberikan dampak positif terhadap pendiidkan islam di Indonesia.

Abstract

The Teacher Professional Development (TPD) program is a crucial strategy for enhancing teachers' knowledge and skills. The program includes activities that go beyond introducing instructional methods in the classroom and focus on improving teachers' abilities to communicate and collaborate with their peers, community of teachers, leaders, and school partners. There is a scarcity of research presenting TPD data from teacher representatives throughout Indonesia, particularly those using the 2018 TALIS questionnaire developed by the OECD. This mixed-method study collected TPD data from a survey of 410 elementary school teachers in Indonesia and interview data through the FGD method from 53 respondents, including teachers, principals, parent committees, and education offices from several cities in Indonesia. The study's results indicate that TPD programs in Indonesia require improvement and equal implementation both teachers in urban and suburban/rural area. The programs primarily focus on enhancing knowledge, instructional and institutional skills, including organic relationships with peers and school partners. Descriptive data analysis reveals that TPD programs should encourage cooperation and collaboration among teachers at local, national, and international levels. Recommendations for future research should analyze the effect of the TPD program integrated with the Merdeka Curriculum on teachers' committees. This will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of the program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelisik perkembangan pendidikan islam pada masa pemerintahan bani Umayyah dan Abbasiyah. Pada sejarahnya, kemampuan unggul dalam mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan telah terkonfirmasi pada masa kedua dinasti tersebut. Hal ini menjadi indikator kemajuan yang jelas dalam perkembangan pendidikan di berbagai bidang. Fenomena tersebut telah berhasil secara efektif mendukung kejayaan kedua dinasti tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka jenis deskriptif historis. Studi pustaka merupakan suatu pendekatan penelitian yang berfokus pada analisis dan pemahaman mendalam tentang fenomena tertentu melalui telaah terhadap berbagai sumber literatur dan dokumen yang relevan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan, bahwa masa kedua dinasti Bani Umayyah dan Abbasiyah terdapat perspektif unik mengenai evolusi sistem pendidikan Islam yang mencakup metode pengajaran dan evolusi kurikulum. Pemahaman terhadap sejarah pendidikan Islam di periode ini menjadi landasan penting untuk merancang pendekatan pembelajaran yang harmonis antara nilai-nilai tradisional dengan kebutuhan zaman modern. Dalam hal ini, hal yang perlu diperhatikan adalah bagaimana pengetahuan tersebut dapat disesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi, sembari tetap menanamkan nilai-nilai Islam secara kontekstual dan relevan dalam konteks pendidikan masa kini.

Abstract

Educators are a very essential part of educational institutions. MI TGH. Muhammad Shadruddin NW Suralaga faces a shortage of specially qualified educators in implementing education that can support the quality of education. The need to improve the quality of education is carried out by the recruitment process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the recruitment and selection process of educators and assess the quality of education in MI TGH. Muhammad Shadruddin NW Suralaga . The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with principals and educators, direct observation, and analysis of related documents. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results showed that the recruitment of educators was carried out personally without open publication, with the final decision in the hands of the Al Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School Education Foundation NW Suralaga. The selection focuses more on administrative aspects and loyalty to the Nahdlatul Wathan organization, without going through direct tests. Despite the challenge of a shortage of PGSD or PGMI qualified educators, the school is directing teachers to improve their educational qualifications. The quality of education at MI TGH. Muhammad Shadruddin NW Suralaga is demonstrated through B level accreditation, active participation of students in extracurricular activities, and character cultivation through religious activities. Student achievement in academic and non-academic competitions as well as teacher dedication in creating a conducive learning environment contribute to improving the quality of education
