Abstract

Illegal fishing that occurs in Indonesian waters has the potential to harm the marine fisheries business. The government seeks to overcome losses due to illegal fishing through  policies and surveillance programs through increasing the fleet of surveillance vessels, increasing operations by sea and air and utilizing information technology. Surveillance  of illegal fishing is a public policy, in  order to measure the impact and benefits of the policy, economic valuation is needed as a basis for stating that the policy is feasible and provides benefits presented in a value. This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect impact of illegal fishing Surveillance policies on the marine fisheries business. The research method uses producer surplus and analysis uses Extended Cost Benefit Analysis (ECBA). The results showed that  the policy of increasing Surveillance provides  positive benefits of Rp.1.8 trillion/year, so the policy is feasible. The policy has the potential to save economic and social losses, when the supervision conditions before the policy of increasing Surveillance of social and economic impacts obtained amounted to Rp.466.9 billion / year and after the policy increased Surveillance to Rp. 2.3 trillion / year. The policy of increasing supervision greatly affects the fisheries business at sea, namely the needs and supply of fish for raw materials for the fishery industry are met, increasing the productivity of catches, absorption of labor as fishermen on ships, sufficient fuel stocks and for the government, state revenues from PNBP and fisheries taxes increase.

Abstract

Law Number 30 of 2014 concerning Government Administration, prohibits abuse of authority by government agencies/officials both central and regional, but in practice there are often acts of abuse of authority of Government Agencies/Officials. This paper describes how Judicial Control over abuse of authority through government administrative legal means and Corruption Criminal Acts which, in practice, cause controversy in the enforcement of corruption crimes, especially by Government Officials and State Civil Apparatus. The legal approach to the above problems is carried out by normatively analyzing the laws and regulations governing the prohibition of abuse of power according to Government Administration Law and the Sociology approach according to the practice and / or decision of the Court in the enforcement of corruption crimes committed by organs / bodies of Government officials or State Civil Apparatus. From the results of the study of these problems in the paper, it can be concluded that abuse of authority in government administration is a form of preventive restriction. Meanwhile, abusing authority in the Criminal Law is a form of repressive action. Abuse of authority stipulated in Article 20 of the UUAP is interpreted as an administrative error committed by government agencies/officials, but if there are legal consequences in the form of state financial losses, it is qualified as a criminal act of corruption.

Abstract

The environmental problems of wetlands in Indonesia, especially in Kalimantan, are not only problems of land fires, haze, floods, but can also be in the form of collapse of buildings due to the contour of swampland and the use of river channels with various uses both for community life, transportation facilities, and river channels as part of tourist destinations. The purpose of this study is to explain the problem of phenomena that often occur in wetlands for tourism activities. Qualitative research methods with case studies, data collection techniques are carried out by collecting various news about motorboat accidents, observations, interviews, and documentation of river crossing tours from social media. The results showed that mitigation communication to prevent accidents in river channel tourism activities has three components that should be jointly responsible, namely the government, river crossing tourism managers, and river crossing visitor communities. Three components are not partially but comprehensively responsible for overcoming problems with risk mitigation. The river is part of the local wisdom of the people in Kalimantan, by utilizing the existing potential to maximize the increase in tourism objects based on comfort and safety.

Abstract

Prefab building construction is chosen because the construction process is faster than conventional buildings, especially in emergency situations such as the COVID pandemic. The main problem at PT XYZ in selling prefabs is the price. The price components that affect the high price are COGS prefab, expedition cost, insurance cost and installation cost. This problem needs to be evaluated starting from production costs, supply chain to installation costs in order to provide a price quote that can be below the ceiling price of the buyer or owner, which is what the research attempted to discuss. Referring to these problems, in this research the authors used a descriptive method, a case study approach with data processing and analysis techniques consisting of descriptive analysis of the company and analysis of the company's internal and external environment. The analysis, which is used to formulate strategies and the process of using them, is Value Chain analysis, SAP-LAP Analysis, and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). This analysis is interrelated in determining the weight on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Hierarchy to determine Strategies to improve Competitiveness Based on Value Chain on Prefab Products. The highest weight value is Improving Product Quality with a weight value of 0.433. What is meant by improving product quality is meeting quality standards. This product quality improvement starts from the quality of the vendor's product materials, the production process in the factory, the handling process during the manufacturing process, and the quality of the product.

Abstract

Globalization has impacted Indonesia's economy, providing consumers with diverse goods and services. Advances in technology have facilitated global transactions, benefiting consumers. However, businesses have benefited from consumers through advertisements and promotions. The Indonesian Consumer Protection Law offers alternative dispute resolution options, including the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency (BPSK). Despite the existence of alternative institutions, BPSK remains a necessary institution for quick and affordable dispute resolution. Strengthening the agency, achieving budget independence, improving human resources, establishing an online system, and establishing BPSK in each province and second-level region are crucial for its future success.

The research method used was an analytical descriptive approach with a qualitative type of research. Data were obtained through interviews and observations, as well as primary and secondary data relevant to the expansion of Nias Islands Province. The results show the urgency of the expansion of Nias Islands involving a top-down strategy by considering threat factors and national strategic policies. The relevance of the formation of Nias Islands Province can be seen from geographical, geopolitical, and demographic factors. The readiness of this region to become a New Autonomous Region (DOB) is reflected in agreements between regional heads, infrastructure availability, and financial support during the transition. The central government needs to understand that the expansion of Nias Islands is not only a local need but also a strategic step in maintaining national security and stability.

Abstract

With 21 million metric tons of nickel deposits, or ? of global reserves, Indonesia possesses an abundance of the metal. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the export and processing policies of the Indonesian government regarding nickel and how they relate to global nickel requirements in light of future energy estimates. This study's methodology, which gathers information from official websites, government papers, mass media, and literature, is based on qualitative assumption analysis. The findings indicate that a revision is necessary to ESDM Ministerial Regulation Number 11 of 2019. This policy has a negative effect since the government failed to consider a number of factors while drafting it, including the effects on the environment, the disparity in benefits between China and Indonesia, and the distribution of social implications. Since this policy fosters future national economic progress, it can be deemed appropriate. Impacts on social, environmental, and national resilience still need to be taken into account. The study's findings indicate that, although expert assumptions and a number of other factors on social and environmental issues vary, the government's assumptions, which give priority to the economic sector, do not. The notion of nickel's added value is currently the sole issue that the government views as a major concern, despite the fact that downstream nickel applications can have a good societal impact.

Abstract

This paper presents the design of a battery charging center that will be used optimally by students in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Ambon State Polytechnic (POLNAM, Politeknik Negeri Ambon). This study would like to design a charger station with a load requirement of 145.98 Wh that can be used as a blueprint for future relevant programs. The design of the charger station is based on the results of research that has been conducted in the study. The results of this study have shown that the number of solar panels 100 WP as much as 1 piece, BMS capacity (ICh = 11.6 A and IDch = 31.7 A), SCC capacity 6.125 A 10 A, Inverter 261 Watt 0.5 KW, and battery pack 21.75 Ah.
