Abstract

The research examines the influence of Enterpreneuship orientation and financial perfrmance on sustainable businesses in micro, small and medium enterprises that are challenges in influencing the economy. This qualitative research study utilized a systematic literature review on scientific journals from 2015-2023, focusing on entrepreneurial orientation, financial performance, and sustainable business, and analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study show that the Entrepreneurship orientation has an influence on the financial performance of new product development. This, to improve tha performance of new product development, current and future customer needs should be seen as a guideline for new product development efforts. Where, the Entrepreneurship orientation that affects the influence on the performance of micro small and medium enterprises is only an autonomous dimension. While other dimensions of enterpreneurship orientation such as innovation, proactive and risk odo not have a significant effect on the performance of micro, small and medium enterprises. Therefore, it is recommended to provide autonomy to employees to be able to motivate them by giving freedom to act in an entrepreneurship manner so that they can improve the performance of micro, small and medium enterprises.

Abstract

The vegetable and fruit commodity business has good prospects for continued development. Vegetable production continues to increase from year to year. On the other hand, Indonesian people's consumption of vegetables is still low. PT XYZ is a company operating in the vegetable distributor sector. It faces the challenges of increasingly fierce competition and changes in customer purchasing patterns since the Covid-19 outbreak. The aim of this research was to identify business models, formulate alternative strategies, formulate priority strategies and formulate new business models that can be implemented to develop PT XYZ's business. Identification of PR XYZ's business model was carried out using the Business Model Canvas (BMC). Next, a SWOT analysis was carried out on the 9 elements of the Business Model Canvas, the results of which were also used to carry out IE analysis (EFE and IFE). From the IE analysis, PT XYZ's position was in quadrant V (Hold and Maintain). Commonly used strategies are Market Penetration and Product Development). From SWOT Matrix analysis (SO, WO, ST and WT). on the key factors of EFE and IFE, alternative strategies were obtained which were then prioritized using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM), namely: forming a research and development section, evaluating vegetable processing processes, developing vegetable derivative products, carrying out more active marketing activities, developing marketing to the hotel, restaurant and cafe (HOREKA) segment, mapping vegetable suppliers,  developing marketing to the online segment, creating a cooperation program that can bind suppliers, and opening a warehouse in Jakarta to reduce costs.

Abstract

Indonesia is the 4th largest coffee-producing country in the world. Coffee cherry can produce 60% CCPW, more than the core product of coffee beans as the main product produced. CCPW contains lignocellulosic material that can be converted into value-added products. This research optimizes the production of xylose and xylanase enzymes as an integrated process with a biorefinery model to increase the added value of CCPW using the Research Surface Methodology (RSM). Enzyme production is carried out using a bioprocess using Trichoderma viride. Xylose production is carried out using the dregs of xylanase production as raw material and xylanase enzymes which are produced in the integrated process. The xylanase and xylose produced are in the liquid phase. The treatment design for xylanase production is substrate concentration and incubation time, while for xylose production it is substrate concentration and xylanase concentration. Based on the optimization conducted, the optimum condition of xylanase production was 75% substrate concentration with an incubation time of 72 hours, which will result in xylanase an enzyme with an activity of 29.275 U/ml with desirability of 99.55%. On the other hand, the optimum condition of xylose production was 12.54% substrate concentration with a xylanase concentration of 4.01%, which will result in 0.53 g/L xylose content with desirability of 94.06%. These findings show that xylose production efficiency can be achieved through integrated two-stage biorefinery production for efficient and sustainable utilization of CCPW.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify factors that affect human resource performance at PT XYZ and determine strategies needed to improve HR performance. This study is based on the Sink and Tuttle's strategic approach, namely, effectiveness, efficiency, quality, productivity, quality of work life, innovation and profitability. The study was conducted at the company's operational locations in plantations and tea processing factories as well as at the head office and representatives of the company in West Java. Data collection is carried out from April 2023 to September 2023, with data collected from January 2020 to October 2023 through interviews using questionnaires. The results of measuring human resources performance using the AHP, OMAX and TLS methods above have shown KPIs that are not achieved in the criteria for achieving HR performance at the plantation. The weak factors in influencing the non-achievement of HR performance are (1) Factory output productivity ratio; (2) Factory utility ratio; (3) Labor cost ratio in the plant; (4) Labor costs in the factory; (5) Material / Material Cost ratio; (6) General and administrative cost ratio. The Shoot Analysis Percentage will be suitable for the implementation of strategies to increase supervision and adjust SOPs or rules related to shoot analysis. The drone mapping (mapping) of plant health and populations can also be useful to find out plant health from above the satellite / drone, so that a more appropriate solution can be found for the process of health or recovery of gardens.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of the OSS-RBA policy in risk-based business licensing in Cirebon City, West Java Province and to formulate the relationship between central, provincial, district/city government authority in implementing the OSS-RBA policy in risk-based business licensing in Cirebon City, Java Province. West. This research uses the policy implementation theory developed by Grindle which consists of policy content and policy context. The research approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The data analysis technique used is by data reduction and conclusion withdrawal. The research results show that the implementation of the OSS-RBA policy in risk-based business licensing in Cirebon City is not optimal. The OSS-RBA service in risk-based business licensing in Cirebon City has not been communicated well to employees and the public so that there are still many process obstacles faced, from the aspect of policy content there are also too many derivative technical policies that regulate it, resulting in the OSS-RBA policy being ineffective. The OSS-RBA policy model in risk-based business licensing in Cirebon City, the key implication of Grindle's theory of policy implementation, is that there is an additional dimension of action. The implication of the theory developed by researchers is based on research results that to achieve service goals, the dimensions of Coordination, Communication and Commitment need to be added.
