Abstract

Employee silence represents a critical organizational phenomenon wherein employees deliberately withhold work-related ideas, concerns, suggestions, and information from individuals who could effect change. This systematic literature review employs a qualitative meta-synthesis approach to integrate research findings on the social dynamics underlying employee silence, with particular emphasis on the interrelationships among organizational culture, psychological safety, and voice behavior. A comprehensive search of eight academic databases (Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, Emerald Insight, SpringerLink, Taylor & Francis, Wiley Online Library, and Google Scholar) was conducted using predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, yielding 48 studies for final analysis. The thematic synthesis revealed six primary themes: (1) organizational culture as a social context of silence, (2) psychological safety as a mediating mechanism, (3) fear and power distance in defensive silence, (4) leadership and silence climate, (5) voice behavior as a counterforce to silence, and (6) social norms and the institutionalization of silence. The findings demonstrate that employee silence is fundamentally a socially constructed phenomenon shaped by cultural values, power dynamics, leadership behaviors, and communication norms rather than merely an individual decision. The proposed conceptual framework illustrates a pathway wherein organizational culture influences psychological safety, which subsequently affects voice behavior and ultimately determines the prevalence of employee silence. This study contributes to organizational behavior theory by providing an integrated understanding of the social dynamics of silence and offers practical implications for organizational leaders seeking to cultivate speak-up cultures.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and organizational support on employee burnout at Bank Sulselbar, Masamba Branch. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a causal associative design, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to a total population of 36 employees. Due to the limited population size, a saturated sampling (census) technique was applied. Data analysis was conducted using Multiple Linear Regression through SPSS software version 30. The partial statistical results indicate that both emotional intelligence (t = -1.827; sig. 0.077 > 0.05) and organizational support (t = -1.214; sig. 0.233 > 0.05) have a negative but non-significant influence on employee burnout. However, the simultaneous testing (F-test) reveals that both variables collectively exert a significant effect on mitigating burnout, with a significance value of 0.016 < 0.05. The R-Square value of 0.220 indicates that the independent variables contribute 22% to the variance in employee burnout, while the remaining 78% is explained by other factors outside this research model. This study concludes that while internal psychological traits and external managerial resources are insufficient to reduce burnout independently, their integration acts as a critical strategic buffer against work exhaustion in the banking sector. Implications: Bank management is highly recommended to synergize specialized emotional coping training with structural organizational support, such as adjusting work demands and introducing psychological assistance programs, to effectively lower burnout levels.

Abstract

The study examines the planning of a digital data management system named "ALTAEXPERIENCE.ID" to enhance marketing communication and audience engagement within the music event industry. In the complex digital era, marketing effectiveness relies heavily on targeted interactions and efficient data management. This study employs a project planning methodology supported by empirical survey data from 55 concert-goers and a comprehensive situational analysis, including SWOT and competitor evaluation. The proposed system integrates QR Code technology, the WhatsApp Business API, and digital gamification to create a centralized ecosystem for seamless registration, real-time interaction, and automated data collection. The results reveal that 56.4% of attendees frequently encounter technical issues such as long queues and ticket fraud, while 100% of respondents expressed a high willingness to adopt a digital identity system for improved access and interactive features. Major findings suggest that "ALTAEXPERIENCE.ID" successfully transforms traditional one-way marketing into a participatory "phygital" experience that boosts brand recall and loyalty. The system enables organizers to analyze audience interaction data in real-time, providing actionable insights to refine marketing messages for future events. By bridging the gap between physical and digital engagement, this planning serves as a practical, scalable solution for event organizers navigating the digital transformation.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the healthcare sector has become a strategic approach to improving operational efficiency and service quality. One form of this transformation is the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR), which enables faster, more accurate, and integrated patient data management. Clinic MAS in South Kalimantan adopted EMR to replace the conventional administrative system that previously caused queue build-ups, service delays, potential errors in prescription reading, high administrative burdens, and weak operational control. This study aims to analyze the operational efficiency and cost-benefit of EMR transformation at Clinic MAS from the perspective of Digital Analytics in Business. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation involving the clinic director, administrative staff, and healthcare workers. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that EMR implementation has eliminated queue build-ups, minimized prescription errors, reduced fraud potential, reduced paper usage through a paperless system, and lowered operational costs. Furthermore, EMR has increased clinic revenue by 60% to 70% within one year and enabled real-time business monitoring. The findings confirm that EMR transformation serves not merely as an administrative innovation but as a digital business intelligence strategy that supports profitability, business efficiency, and clinic competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Growing public awareness of environmental problems has boosted demand for sustainable shopping, especially on e commerce platforms that often highlight green or eco friendly labels in their marketing. However, many consumers doubt these claims because they do not fully trust the information provided. Past studies usually looked at convenience and trust as separate factors. Few have combined them to see how they work together in online shopping, particularly in developing nations like Indonesia. This research tries to fill that gap. It looks at how perceived convenience—meaning easy navigation, quick checkout, and clear product information—and trust in sustainability claims affect whether people actually buy green products. The study used a quantitative method, collecting data from 143 e commerce users chosen through purposive sampling. Participants answered a Likert scale questionnaire, and the researchers analyzed the data using SEM PLS. The findings show that convenience has a strong, positive effect on sustainable buying Behaviour. When platforms are user friendly, shoppers are more likely to choose eco friendly items. Trust in the sustainability claims also matters a lot. If shoppers believe the claims are honest and transparent, they are more willing to buy sustainable products. Moreover, trust acts as a bridge: it makes the influence of convenience even stronger, because a convenient platform that also provides believable green information encourages more purchases. Despite positive results, the study points out a common problem—there is still a gap between what consumers say they intend to do and what they actually do when it comes to buying environmentally friendly goods online.

Abstract

The subscription economy model, which has become increasingly dominant amid digital disruption, positions subscription-based services as a primary revenue source for digital companies, while converting free (freemium) users into paying subscribers remains a strategic challenge. This study employed purposive sampling, a survey method, and a quantitative approach targeting active Spotify users in Indonesia. Data was analyzed using PLS-SEM to examine the relationships among variables. The results indicate that User Experience has a positive and significant effect on Subscription Decision, with a path coefficient of 0.637 and a p-value < 0.05, making it the most dominant variable influencing subscription decisions. Meanwhile, Application Quality and Digital Promotion have positive but insignificant effects on Subscription Decision. These findings suggest that the decision to subscribe to Spotify Premium is more strongly influenced by direct user experience encompassing cognitive, emotional, and functional aspects than by perceived application quality or exposure to digital promotions. The practical implication of this study highlights the importance of delivering superior user experience as a primary strategy to increase subscription decisions in digital application-based services.
