Abstract

This research is motivated by students' problems when learning to determine the main idea. The aim of this research is to find out the problems experienced by students in learning to determine the main idea in a text. The type of research used in this research is a case study. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research chosen using a purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted on class V teachers and class V students at SD N 20 Paninjauan. The instrument of this research is the researcher himself. Data collection in this research is interviews and documentation, the data and information that has been obtained is then analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model. The results of the research, this research shows that the implementation of class V Indonesian language content learning with the material of determining the main idea only uses the lecture method and in implementing the learning the media is not used enough to support the learning process, and the students' ability to read quickly is very low. And when reading texts that are too long, students do not understand the vocabulary in the text.

Abstract

In today's digital age, the world is faced with rapid technological advances. It is undeniable that education today must be able to keep up with these advances. This technology can be utilized in various forms of media such as WA groups, classrooms, zoom and so on for distance learning facilities. However, many schools have not fully utilized technology. Moreover, currently there are many cases of students being less active, less interacting and involved during distance learning. So this research emerges to answer this problem with a focus on the utilization of technology in an effort to increase student interaction and involvement in active learning. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of technology utilization in active learning. Then to find out the extent to which technology can encourage student interaction. Through technology, it is also possible to measure the level of student engagement in distance learning. The research method used is quantitative method. Data was obtained through distributing questionnaires to students online utilizing google form. The results obtained from respondents during the distribution of questionnaires were then processed into an application called SPSS with the oneway anova test. After processing the data, the researcher then presents the data in the form of a table containing the response rate of the respondents. The results of this study show that technology has a positive impact. Technology brings active learning. Learning is more fun, interesting and not boring. Then technology is able to increase interaction between students and students, student interaction with learning so that learning is effective. The conclusion of the research is that technology is an important tool used in the fields of life today such as government, economy, social, media, including education. The technology is very much needed in the world of education. The integration of technology wisely in the context of active learning is able to increase student interaction and involvement so as to facilitate the learning process so that educational goals are achieved and the quality of education increases.

Abstract

21st Century Learning encourages students to have the skills needed for life in the future. One learning approach that is relevant to 21st Century skills is Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics or STEAM. STEAM-loaded learning can be applied from basic education to higher education. This study aims to analyze the content of STEAM in science learning for plant generative reproduction in Class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mumtaza Islamic School, South Tangerang City which is integrated with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The results of the study show that in fact, in learning science in Class V, integrated PjBL, which looks simple, already contains the STEAM component. The STEAM components contained are: (1) Science is seen when students identify the flower part, (2) Technology is in simple technology, namely the scissors used by students, (3) Engineering in the form of students' techniques in making circles and attaching flower parts, (4) Art contained when students decorate their work, and (5) Mathematics is seen when students make a circle with a certain diameter.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explain that learning is the main activity in the whole educational process in schools. Learning is a process to achieve the success of educational goals in schools. The success of student learning depends on how the learning process is experienced by students as students, and teachers as educators who are directly involved in the implementation of learning. To improve the learning process of students, teachers must be able to choose and apply appropriate learning methods to improve student achievement. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with qualitative analysis. active knowledge sharing is a strategy that can bring students of SMA Negeri-1 Manuhing to be ready and active in learning activities. This strategy can be used to see the level of ability of students in learning.

Abstract

The development of the tourism industry is the agenda of the Boyolali Regency government to encourage economic development and to increase regional PAD. The aim of industrial development is to encourage progress in the economic, social, cultural and religious fields of society. Currently, in the VIllage of Samiran Selo-Boyolali, a tourism object at the Simpang PB VI Selo-Boyolali has been built. This study will analyze the impact of implementing tourism development policies on people's religious behaVIor. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Then in the data collection process using the method of observation, interVIews, and documentation. The implementation of the Simpang PB VI tourism development policy has an impact on two things, namely positive and negative impacts. The positive impact of tourism development on people's religious behaVIor is in the form of: (a). Increasing public knowledge about the modern economic system. (b). Strengthening the economy and religion of society. (b). The opening of employment opportunities for the community so that they are able to send their children to Islamic boarding schools. (c). Minimizing behaVIor that is not in accordance with religious norms. The negative impacts of tourism are: (a). Westernized lifestyle (lifestyle) that is not in accordance with religious teachings. (b). Reducing the comfort of the community in carrying out makhdzoh and ghoiru makhdzoh worship. (c). Changes in youth behaVIor that are not in accordance with religious and cultural teachings.

Abstract

From 2019 to 2023, digital use is increasingly being applied in carrying out activities of daily life, especially in the learning process in the field of education. Therefore, this study examines the extent to which students' abilities in digital use. Apart from being a symbol of the progress of a society, the ability to use digital can also prevent its users from spreading or preventing the absorption of hoax information. Therefore, this study aims to look at students' digital literacy skills in PTKIN in Aceh. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection using interview techniques and analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the level of digital literacy skills possessed by students tended to be quite good, namely as much as 82%. With details in terms of internet searching aspects of 89%, in terms of hypertext navigation aspects of 72%. Then, from the aspect of content evaluation, it is 88% and from the aspect of knowledge assimilation, it is 78%.

Abstract

Lately, many have been found in the implementation of learning processes using various methods. This can be seen by the number of learners that uses technology-based media that can improve and support the learning process in a university. The learning process is one of the most important things in the world of education. Education is said to be of high quality if, in the learning process, it can improve and develop the talents and skills that exist in students. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning process using Adaptive Learning in developing Arabic learning in universities. The method in this study uses quantitative research methods. The data obtained is through the distribution of questionnaires containing statements in them. The distribution of the questionnaire is by utilizing the Google Form application. The results of this study explain that the learning process using Adaptive Learning can develop students' Arabic learning in universities. This study concludes that the learning process by utilizing Adaptive Learning to develop Arabic learning in higher education is very suitable to be applied in the learning process. The limitation of this study is that researchers only conduct this research at the university level which requires a learning process that suits the needs of students, one of which is by utilizing this Adaptive Learning. Researchers hope that the next researcher can develop the Arabic learning process at a more advanced stage. This study also recommends to future researchers make this research a reference in conducting research related to the learning process using Adaptive Learning.

Abstract

Cognitive ability is an inner skill that uses the brain that is needed to perform tasks or anything that is simple to the most complex tasks. Games in education for students will help them develop the ability of cognitive structures in themselves, with the development of cognitive skills, students will also foster social attitudes in themselves and will help them socialize in society. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of educational games in improving students' cognitive and social skills. This research was conducted to understand that educational games can improve students' cognitive skills and can also develop students' social attitudes, while this research will also illustrate whether these educational games can be applied to all levels of education in schools. The method used in this study is a quantitative method in which in this case, the data collection used is by means of a questionnaire, with the correlation method to be applied through SPSS statistical software. Respondents involved in this study are students who are currently studying elementary school education and the results of the preparation of students who are used as assessment materials. The results obtained from this study explain that the effectiveness of educational games in improving students' cognitive and social skills has a good impact on students who are taking elementary school education, educators can also find out the effectiveness of educational games in improving students' cognitive and social skills. The conclusion obtained from this research outlines the effectiveness of educational games in improving the cognitive and social skills of students who are still studying in elementary school. With educational games can also find out the cognitive skills possessed by students and can also find out their attitudes in their social environment. Educational games can also develop students' cognitive and social attitudes.

Abstract

Today's rapidly growing use of social media has both positive and negative impacts on people's social lives. Moreover, based on UNESCO data, Indonesian people are very active in using social media. This research aims to The use of social media as a learning medium aims to increase students' interest in learning, improve students' ability to use technology and increase students' awareness in using social media in the context of education. The method used in this research is a quantitative method using a survey model and in-depth interviews with one teacher and students. The results of this study show that social media can be used for learning tools or media. However, in reality, currently there is no maximum use of social networking media. The results of researchers' observations by looking at the growing phenomenon, that the use of social networking media is currently mostly only used by students to be limited to sending messages with friends, playing games (games), and buying goods online. The use of social networking media is currently still not utilized as a learning medium by students. The conclusion of this research is that media in the learning process is an inseparable part of the teaching and learning process in order to achieve an educational goal in general and learning objectives. Strategies to be able to find learning media. The right and appropriate in the learning process can be done by making considerations in the selection of social media. Therefore, the limitation of this study is that researchers only conducted research on the role of the Discovery Learning strategy in Islamic cultural history lessons, researchers hope that future researchers can conduct research on the Discovery Learning strategy by developing this strategy in other subjects.

Abstract

Integrative holistic learning is a process of giving full attention to early childhood to improve the quality and ability of children which includes providing nutritional health education services, protection, care and welfare. This study aims to determine the integrative holistic learning strategy in early childhood education. The research method used by researchers is a quantitative method with an observation model, namely conducting direct interviews with teachers. The results of this study indicate that it is important to add insight and broad knowledge about integrative holistic learning strategies in early childhood education. So that it can help solve existing problems and shortcomings regarding integrative holistic strategies in early childhood education, and can form an outstanding and quality generation. From this research it can be concluded that integrative holistic learning strategies in early childhood education are very important and necessary to help the role of a teacher and parents to improve the quality and achievement of children. The limitation in this study is that researchers only conducted research on integrative holistic learning strategies in early childhood education. Therefore, the researcher hopes that future researchers can conduct further research related to integrative holistic learning strategies in early childhood education to be further developed. Researchers also recommend that future researchers use the results of this study as a reference in conducting research on interactive holistic learning strategies in early childhood education.
