In this era, education is needed to support children in continuing the next generation of the nation. In education today, an update in education is needed, in order to change education in Indonesia to be more advanced. To achieve the goal of more advanced education, there must be a curriculum update in Indonesia. In February 2022 last year, the Ministry of Education and Culture launched an independent curriculum where the independent curriculum method refers more to the talents and interests of children. This independent curriculum allows students to choose the lessons they like or are most interested in. The purpose of this study is to evaluate early childhood learning on the use of the independent curriculum. This research method uses quantitative methods, this data is obtained from interviews to kindergartens. The results showed that the independent curriculum is very good in supporting students' learning in improving skills, character, by using flexible learning. From this research it can be concluded that the use of an independent curriculum for early childhood is very effective and efficient. The independent curriculum leads to the development of skills and character, focuses on essential material, and uses flexible learning. The limitation of this research is that researchers only conducted research in one kindergarten in 50 cities in West Sumatra Province, researchers hope that future researchers can conduct research with a wider range so that they can continue this research. This study also recommends to future researchers as a reference in conducting research on the use of Merdeka Curriculum in Early Childhood.

Abstract

During Mohammad Nuh's tenure as education minister in 2013, the KTSP 2006 curriculum was still in use. Because the 2006 KTSP was not in accordance with Law 20/2003 on National Education System, the education minister created a new curriculum, namely the 2013 curriculum. In this curriculum, the thematic learning model used for madrasah Ibtidaiyah emerged. This study aims to determine the thematic learning model of Islamic religious education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The research method used is quantitative method, using a survey model that researchers use is google form and researchers also conduct in-depth interviews using WhatsApp. The results of the research that researchers found were that this thematic learning model was in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. The conclusion that researchers can draw from this research is that the thematic learning model of Islamic religious education is very helpful for students in the learning process at madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Limitations in thematic learning models include demanding relatively good learning abilities of students, both in academics and in the field of creativity, because thematic learning emphasizes students' ability to analyze. Therefore, the researcher hopes that future researchers can examine the thematic learning model of Islamic religious education at a more advanced level.

Abstract

The phenomenological method is being used in this qualitative research. Students at Universitas Negeri Manado used the TikTok program frequently while learning chemistry, according to data analysis employing paradigm interpretation. From the first to the third year, fifteen UNIMA Chemistry students participated in the study and served as informants to collect data. The research's primary and secondary data were gathered through in-person interviews and direct observation. The believability, transferability, dependability, and confirmability of the data were examined for quality. Data reduction, data display, and the process of drawing conclusions/verifying those conclusions were all steps in the processing of the data that Miles and Hubernan pioneered. Researchers came to the following conclusions based on their research: 1) Since the outbreak, TikTok has quickly surpassed YouTube, WhatsApp, and Zoom Meeting in terms of usage, becoming the most popular app; 2) TikTok content, which was previously only for entertainment, has migrated to learning media, including chemistry learning; 3) chemistry content in the form of videos based on experiments or practicums is able to hold students' attention; and 5) the TikTok application can be used as a media alternative in learning that is suitable for Gen Z students.

Abstract

A successful teacher is a teacher who has competence so that it can increase the enthusiasm and motivation of learning of students, and ultimately will improve the quality of learning felt by students. Teacher competence is very important. We can see from the interest of students in the learning process. For example, such as always doing assignments given by the teacher, not being late in participating in learning, but what the author sees from the research results there are still students who are less focused when learning, lack interest in learning in certain subjects, and there are still students who don't do assignments . It means that the liveliness expected of a teacher in the teaching and learning process is not as expected by the teacher. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Sukabumi in class XII IPS with a total of 167 students. The sample that the researcher took was 25 students, 15% of the total population. This study aims to determine the effect of teacher professional competence on students' learning motivation in the subjects of Islamic religious education and morals in class XII IPS at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Sukabumi. The research model used in this research is a survey model with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses Sample Random Sampling. The instrument used is a Likert scale with 5 possible answers (SS = Strongly agree, S = Agree, RG = Undecided, TS = Disagree, STS = Strongly disagree). With the number of questions 15 variables X and 15 variables Y. Based on the results of the regression analysis, it was found that the regression coefficient value was 0.489, this value indicated a positive value. In addition, it is supported by a tcount > ttable (2.407 > 2.069) at a significance level of 0.05 (5%), meaning that Teacher Professional Competence has a positive and significant influence on the Learning Motivation of students at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Sukabumi.

Abstract

Nowadays, the times are growing rapidly, demanding various fields to improve their quality, especially in the world of education. Sustainable education does not only focus on schools located in urban areas, but also voices coming from schools in certain areas, far from the boisterous development of technology, according to the authors have to be heard as a main voice in an investigation. In particular, significant voices emanate out of SMA Negeri 1 Kapuas Hilir and SMK Negeri 1 Kuala Kapuas, Central Kalimantan. Furthermore, it aimed to analyze the methods of improving educational performance in schools. The qualitative method used throughout the interview process involved collecting data from three interviewees or research subjects. Based on gathering data, information, and facts, the researchers found that: educational quality is determined by input factors (condition of students), process (creation of learning atmosphere), and environment (family, community, and nature), as well as facilities and infrastructure (devices that facilitate learning activities). Improving educational performance requires teachers' professionalism as it influences the advancement of educational development in SMA Negeri 1 Kapuas Hilir and SMK Negeri 1 Kuala Kapuas, Central Kalimantan. The results showed that there are directions and activities in upgrading, seminars, training, conducting inter-school visits to gain experience from other school teachers as a source of reference. Furthermore, based on reevaluation, teachers and education officials through research on other schools, saw unique and important steps forward when they looked at the lens of educational problems located in locations distant from hustle and technology acceleration.
