Jurnal PUAN INDONESIA (Pengabdian Untuk Anak Negeri) Indonesia merupakan wadah untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil Pengabdian Masyarakat dari berbagai disiplin ilmu dalam bentuk Jurnal ilmiah dan Open Accessed System. Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra se Kepulauan Riau (Idebahasa Kepri). Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan di Jurnal Puan Indonesia meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di OJS system Jurnal Puan Indonesia maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. Jurnal Puan Indonesia menerima manuskrip atau naskah artikel dalam bidang riset terapan dan pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup bidang keilmuan yang relevan dengan: sosial, kependidikan, sains, keolahragaan, bahasa, bisnis dan ekonomi dari berbagai kalangan akademisi dan peneliti baik nasional maupun internasional. Jurnal PUAN INDONESIA akan menerbitkan jurnal secara bilingual pada bulan Juli dan Januari setiap tahunya. JPI menerapkan kebijakan blind review dimana setiap tulisan yang masuk akan dikirimkan kepada mitra bestari yang terdaftar di JPI. Proses review dapat berlangsung maksimum sampai 30 (tiga puluh) hari kerja dengan alokasi waktu yang diberikan kepada tiap mitra bestari dalam menyelesaikan proses review nya adalah maksimum 14 (empat belas) hari kerja. Jika mitra bestari yang ditunjuk sebelumnya tidak mampu menyelesaikan pekerjaan review-nya dalam tenggat waktu yang ditentukan maka ketua dewan redaksi akan menunjuk mitra bestari pengganti untuk melakukan review tulisan yang dimaksud.

Abstract

This Community Service program aims to introduce the culture of entrepreneurship and improve the quality of service and the ability to prepare simple financial reports for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the laundry service sector in Pengadegan. Based on observations, laundry business owners in this area generally have not optimized the potential of their services and financial management in a structured manner, which affects the competitiveness of their businesses. This program includes training and mentoring activities, covering the introduction of basic entrepreneurship principles, strategies for improving customer service, and techniques for preparing simple financial reports such as daily transaction records, cash inflows and outflows, and profit-loss calculations. The method of implementation for this activity involves conducting interviews, observations, and mentoring in preparing simple financial reports. Data was obtained after conducting interviews with MSME laundry businesses. The results of this program show an improvement in MSME owners' understanding of the importance of service innovation and transparent financial management. The activity has had a positive impact on business management capabilities and successfully enhanced the understanding of MSME laundry owners in Pengadegan regarding the culture of entrepreneurship, customer service quality, and preparation of simple financial reports. Additionally, 80% of MSME owners at Via Laundry were able to independently prepare simple financial reports after the mentoring. Abstract

This initiative aims to provide training for Angkringan MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) owners in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, on preparing simple financial reports. The objective is to enhance their ability to manage their businesses more effectively by implementing proper financial recording practices. The community service program consists of several stages, including field observations, interactive discussions, financial report preparation training, and evaluation of the training outcomes. The primary participant in this activity is the owner of Angkringan Ways, with the training scheduled to take place in December 2024. The training significantly improved participants' understanding of financial recording. They began to adopt better financial management practices, such as separating personal and business finances. Additionally, they started using standardized financial report formats, including general journals, ledgers, and income statements, to keep track of their business transactions systematically. This program has had a positive impact on enhancing MSME owners' financial management skills. With continued mentoring, it is expected that systematic financial recording will be consistently implemented, contributing to the long-term sustainability of their businesses.

Abstract

Simple financial management training is a strategic step to increase the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the digital era. Many MSMEs face challenges in managing finances, such as sloppy record keeping, lack of understanding about cash flow, and lack of access to financial technology. This training aims to equip MSME players with basic skills in financial management, including digital financial recording, budget planning and simple investment strategies. By understanding this concept, MSMEs can increase operational efficiency, grow profits, and be better prepared to face competition in the digital market. The implementation of technology-based training also supports the digital transformation of MSMEs, enabling them to be more adaptive to economic developments.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 presents opportunities and challenges in managing MSME finances, especially due to limited digital literacy and resources. This research accompanies Warung Kopi Haji Junen through training and application of digital financial technology, such as QRIS and Microsoft Excel, to increase the efficiency of financial recording. The results show that the coffee shop has succeeded in preparing structured financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss and cash flow, although challenges in using technology are still encountered. This assistance proves the importance of digital technology in managing MSME finances and can be a reference for similar assistance in the future.

Abstract

This simple accounting training aims to improve the understanding and skills of MSMEs, especially Ayam D’kriuk in Cibubur, in recording and managing finances. Activities include basic accounting theory and the practice of recording transactions, preparing journals, ledgers, profit and loss reports, and balance sheets. With more systematic financial reports, business actors can make better business decisions and increase access to funding.

Abstract

The Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) sector plays a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, contributing over 60% to the GDP and significantly aiding in job creation. However, many SMEs face challenges in adopting technology, particularly in digital payment systems. This study explores the potential of optimizing digital payment methods to improve operational efficiency in SMEs. The research focuses on providing training for SMEs, particularly in the culinary industry, to help them transition from traditional cash payments to digital transactions. Using a hands-on training approach, the study demonstrates how SMEs can integrate digital payment applications into their operations, resulting in increased efficiency, better financial record-keeping, and enhanced customer satisfaction. The findings underscore the importance of digital payment adoption for enhancing business competitiveness and customer convenience in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Ultimately, this initiative shows that training SMEs in digital payments can drive substantial operational improvements and prepare them for a more competitive market environment.

Abstract

The Environmental Care Community (MPL) in Nagari Selayo, Kubung District, Solok Regency, is committed to realizing excellent service to the community through communication speech acts in serving the community. In this effort, the Environmental Care Community (MPL) educates the community about the importance of providing services to the community using good communication speech acts in dealing or carrying out activities. In communicating, the community needs to use three magic words, namely apologizing, asking for help, and saying thank you in carrying out activities at this institution. With a collaborative approach, the Environmental Care Community (MPL) also holds seminars and workshops that aim to increase public awareness when dealing or carrying out activities at this institution. Through this activity, it is hoped that the community and the Environmental Care Community (MPL) institution can understand the responsibility in maintaining good and correct speech or communication so that serving or dealing runs smoothly.

Abstract

HIV-AIDS and Tuberculosis (TB) are major health problems still faced by workers, especially in the industrial, construction, and migrant sectors. Lack of awareness, social stigma, and limited access to health information and services are major obstacles. Therefore, an effective educational approach and campaign are needed to raise awareness and shape preventive behavior in the work environment. This community service program aimed to improve workers' knowledge and attitudes regarding the prevention of HIV-AIDS and TB at PT X in Batam City. The method of implementing the activity includes initial observation, literature study, concept planning, implementation of education, focus group discussions (FGD), and evaluation through pre-post tests. The target of the activity is 30 PT X workers. Knowledge and attitudes are measured using a structured questionnaire, then the changes are analyzed after the educational intervention. Through educational sessions, group discussions, and visual campaigns, pre- and post-tests were conducted to evaluate the impact. The results showed significant improvement in knowledge (average score increased from 58.2 to 78.7) and positive attitudes (from 33% to 83%). This program proved effective in fostering preventive behaviors and reducing stigma against HIV and TB patients in the workplace. It is hoped that companies can continue these efforts sustainably through supportive policies, screening facilities, and regular counseling.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service program was to improve the skills of OSIS members at SMA Negeri 9 Denpasar in using Microsoft Excel for financial management. The school faced significant challenges, including limited access to technology and a lack of proficiency in Excel, which hindered the efficiency of managing student organization finances. The community service activities were designed to address these issues by providing targeted training sessions on Excel, focusing on fundamental tools, formulas, and creating financial reports. The method involved an initial assessment of the school's needs, followed by hands-on workshops and interactive quizzes to assess understanding. The outcomes indicated a marked improvement in the students' ability to manage financial data using Excel, enhancing both their administrative efficiency and digital literacy. This project not only resolved immediate operational challenges but also equipped the students with valuable skills for future academic and professional endeavors. The results highlight the importance of integrating digital skills training into educational programs, fostering greater efficiency and preparing students for the demands of the digital age.

Abstract

The development of information technology in graphic design has opened many opportunities for vocational high school students to acquire skills that will be used in the workplace. This program aims to provide comprehensive training covering theoretical and practical aspects of product poster design using the Canva application for class X office automation and management students at SMK Cendekia Batujajar. The training method combines face-to-face learning, technical demonstrations, and hands-on practicum sessions. The activity was conducted on May 7, 2025, involving 37 students (4 male, 33 female) in the school's computer laboratory. The training materials covered product poster concepts, design functions in business, basic graphic design principles and introduction to Canva usage. Evaluation was conducted through online quizzes using Kahoot.it and practical design assignments. The results showed high participant enthusiasm evidenced by active discussions with instructors and utilization of break time for additional practicum. The school provided positive feedback and expressed hope for similar activities in the future. This training successfully enhanced students' graphic design competencies and provided new knowledge about design concepts and principles in poster creation.
