Abstract

AKBSTRAK Direktorat Jendral Pajak menciptakan tim Relawan pajak melalui Kantor wilayah DJP dan Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Kota Dumai yang melibatkan mahasiswa. Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Tuah Negeri Dumai turut berpartisipasi dalam pengabdian masyarakat tersebut guna membantu aparatur pajak KPP Pratama Dumai dalam melaporkan Surat Pemberitahuan Tahunan (SPT) Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi yang dilakukan selama 1 bulan lebih. Saat ini Direktorat Jendral Pajak telah mempermudah Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi (WPOP) dalam melaporkan pajaknya melalui website DJP online yang disebut E-Filing. Tim Relawan Pajak dari Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Tuah Negeri Dumai telah berhasil dalam melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat yang diselenggarakan oleh Direktorat Jendral Pajak tersebut, jumlah Wajib Pajak yang di asistensi oleh tim 2 Relawan Pajak STIE Tuah Negeri Dumai tahun 2024 berjumlah 688 Wajib Pajak dan juga tim Relawan Pajak Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Tuah Negeri Dumai juga menerima beberapa manfaat seperti tata cara pelaporan pajak dan memberikan gambaran tentang kerja profesional, termasuk etika kerja, budaya perusahaan dan tantangan yang ada. ABSTRACT The Directorate General of Taxes created a Tax Volunteer team through the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes and the Primary Tax Service Office of Dumai City, involving university students. The Tuah Negeri Dumai College of Economics participated in this community service initiative to assist the tax officials of KPP Pratama Dumai in reporting Individual Taxpayer Annual Tax Returns (SPT) over a period of more than one month. Currently, the Directorate General of Taxes has made it easier for Individual Taxpayers (WPOP) to file their taxes through the DJP online website, known as E-Filing. The Tax Volunteer team from Tuah Negeri Dumai College of Economics 2024 successfully carried out the community service organized by the Directorate General of Taxes, assisting a total of 688 taxpayers. Additionally, the Tax Volunteer team gained several benefits, including knowledge of tax reporting procedures and insights into professional work, including work ethics, corporate culture, and the challenges involved. Abstract

The authority of the High Court in freezing the Advocate Oath Minutes (BAS) is a complex legal aspect and has implications for the independence of the advocate profession and the judicial system in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the legal basis, authority, and limitations of the High Court in freezing the BAS of Advocates, as well as its impact on the rights of advocates and the national legal system. The research method used is a normative juridical approach by examining relevant laws and regulations, court decisions, and relevant legal doctrines. The results of the study show that the High Court's authority in freezing BAS Advocates still faces ambiguity in regulations, so it has the potential to cause legal uncertainty. In addition, the freezing of BAS can have an impact on limited access to justice and freedom of the advocate profession in carrying out their duties. Therefore, clearer and more consistent regulations are needed to avoid potential abuse of authority and ensure the principle of due process of law in the Indonesian legal system.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of technology-based learning innovations in community service programs aimed at improving education access in disadvantaged areas. Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected from educational practitioners, community leaders, and policymakers through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The findings reveal that digital learning tools, online platforms, and mobile-based education programs significantly enhance learning opportunities for marginalized communities. However, challenges such as digital literacy, infrastructure limitations, and funding remain substantial. The study underscores the necessity of a collaborative approach between governments, NGOs, and technology providers to ensure sustainable educational development.

Abstract

Plastic waste is everywhere in almost all sectors, threatening the environment. Recycling is considered the best and most feasible option to overcome this danger. Tumpuk Tangah Sawah Lunto Village is a dense urban area with the potential to be a model for recycling waste. The waste recycling method designed for this service is melting plastic waste first. The waste-melting tool is used so that all plastic waste can be recycled. This research aims to provide education and create tools for recycling plastic waste. The machine developed is used to recycle plastic waste using a melter. In general, other features of this machine include a melting chamber, a burning chamber, and a vertical-type mixer. The tools designed are planned and comply with safety specifications. They are easy to operate, efficient, and low-cost. The people of Tumpuk Tangah Village can use this melting tool as an assisted village to recycle plastic waste.

Abstract

Farmers in Sidowaluyo Village, South Lampung, face a serious problem in the form of rice field rat (Rattus argentiventer) pest attacks that cause significant damage and potential crop failure. This coaching applies the gropyokan method, namely mutual cooperation pest eradication, as a solution to control rat pests that damage farmers' rice crops in Sidowaluyo. Before the gropyokan implementation, a focus group discussion or Forum Group Discussion (FGD) was held, where the purpose of this FGD was to increase understanding and change the perception of the community, especially farmers, regarding this problem. This FGD was conducted twice, with the aim not only to increase farmers' understanding regarding controlling this rat pest, but also to be more effective in finding solutions that are appropriate to land conditions and creating effective strategies in controlling this rat pest. The results of the FGD gave rise to an agreement to use traditional and environmentally friendly methods. Pest control is carried out in rice fields affected or attacked by rat pests, by combining gropyokan and composting using sulfur in areas that are difficult to access such as embankments or dunes on the edge of toll roads. The strategy in implementing this control is formed by team leaders to lead the group activities in each stretch or path. The success of this effort is shown by the number of mice caught or killed, and is expected to be an example and increase motivation for other farmers in overcoming rice field mouse attacks.

Abstract

Banjar Punggawa Hamlet is located in Hara Banjar Manis Village, Kalianda Distric, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province. The problem faced in Banjar Punggawa Hamlet community is that they are not fully utilizing empty land optimally. The purpose of this service is to utilize empty land for living pharmacies to the community, as well as providing knowledge and skills in managing yard land becomes a living pharmacies. The service methods used are socialization, mentoring and practice. The results of the service show that empty land that is not being used properly can be converted into a living pharmacy for the community, so that the community can have medicine supplies in the surrounding environment and utilize land that is not being used properly. In addition, providing knowledge and skills to the community in managing land yard becomes a live pharmacy. Follow-up plans or policy implications need to be carried out to increase support and assistance for the program, strengthen inter community networks and involve local governments to support sustainable development in the use of homestead land. Besides that, increasing community capacity in agricultural techniques and marketing local products can be a strategic step to increase the positive impact of this empowerment program.

Abstract

Programming languages ​​are a must-have knowledge apart from hardware in informatics. There are still many students at Pembina Tulang Bawang Vocational School who do not have computers or laptops to use as devices and have minimal understanding of syntax, variables and functions, as well as understanding algorithms and programming logic. The aim of this activity is to provide training in the Python programming language using mobile to vocational school students so that it is hoped that they can provide education and improve and develop students' skills and creativity in using the programming language practically and effectively. The method involved lectures, presentations and practicums, which were attended by 22 students consisting of 10 class X students and 12 class XI students. Evaluation is carried out through an initial evaluation process and final evaluation using a quiz. The results of the training showed an increase in understanding of 35%. This shows that there was an increase in students' understanding of the material that was provided during the training regarding the use of the Pycode application which can be used to carry out Python programming using mobile devices.

Abstract

The mentoring program for Barokah Jaya Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in optimizing marketing strategies and product weight standardization based on Sharia principles has had a significant impact on partners. This program aims to enhance business competitiveness, expand market reach, and ensure product standards align with Sharia principles. The methods used include training in Sharia-based digital marketing, assistance in social media utilization, and the implementation of a product weight standardization system. The results show that partners have successfully optimized Facebook as a marketing platform, contributing to increased sales. Additionally, the application of more accurate weight measurement methods has ensured product consistency in accordance with Islamic trade justice principles. The program's success was supported by the high commitment of partners and community support, while the main challenges included limited technology access and experience in digital marketing. To overcome these obstacles, additional hands-on mentoring sessions were conducted. With this success, it is expected that Barokah Jaya MSMEs can serve as a model for other businesses in implementing professional and sustainable Sharia-based business strategies.

Abstract

Penerapan sistem informasi manajemen berbasis digital dalam Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) menjadi sangat penting di era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi informasi. UMKM mempunyai peran strategis dalam perekonomian nasional, namun sering menemukan tantangan seperti keterbatasan akses modal, rendahnya literasi digital, serta kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam manajemen bisnis. Digitalisasi menjadi solusi utama untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan efisiensi bisnis UMKM melalui penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) berbasis digital. SIM memungkinkan pengelolaan data secara real-time, optimalisasi rantai pasok, dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Namun, tingkat adopsi SIM masih rendah karena keterbatasan finansial, infrastruktur teknologi, dan kurangnya literasi digital. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang mencakup edukasi literasi digital, akses pembiayaan, serta kebijakan pendukung digitalisasi UMKM. Kajian literatur ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan SIM berbasis digital, mengidentifikasi tantangan, serta mengeksplorasi strategi yang dapat meningkatkan adopsi teknologi digital dalam UMKM. Hasil riset ini diharapkan bisa memberikan pandangan/rekomendasi pada stakeholder guna menyokong transformasi digital UMKM guna meningkatkan daya saing dan berkelanjutan bisnis mereka.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi bagi guru SDN 144 Pekanbaru bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan, minat, dan kesiapan belajar siswa. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap utama: observasi, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap observasi, dilakukan survei kebutuhan yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru belum memahami konsep pembelajaran berdiferensiasi namun mengalami kesulitan dalam implementasinya. Tahap pelaksanaan melibatkan pelatihan dan pendampingan membahas konsep dasar, simulasi penerapan dalam modul pembelajaran. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui tes pemahaman dan angket tindak lanjut, yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru dari 60% menjadi 90%. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki antusiasme tinggi dalam mengadopsi strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Namun, beberapa kendala masih ditemukan, seperti kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan konten dan proses pembelajaran dengan waktu yang terbatas. Selain itu, siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap metode ini, karena lebih sesuai dengan gaya belajar mereka. Sebagai tindak lanjut, dirancang program mentoring dan komunitas belajar guru untuk memastikan implementasi yang berkelanjutan. Pelatihan ini membuktikan bahwa dengan dukungan yang tepat, guru dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar mereka dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif bagi semua siswa
