Methods: This research method is quantitative. The type of research used is correlational analytics with a cross-sectional approach. The population used in this research were 56 preschool-aged children in Karanganyar Village, Karangsiswa Kindergarten, Mahardika Kindergarten, and Terate PAUD, using total sampling techniques. Result: The results of this study show that, based on the chi square test, knowledge and work have a p value of <0.05, while education has a p value of >0.05. Conclusion: The conclusion is that there is an influence of mother's knowledge and work on the success of toilet training and there is no influence of education on the success of toilet training.

Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to develop a behavior model in controlling blood pressure of patients with hypertension by integrating the theory of Health Belief Model and adaption model theory by Roy. Method: This was a cross-sectional study conducted in January 2020. The population in this study was hypertension patients at the Community Health Center. The sampling technique used in this study was consecutive sampling. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by Partial Least Squares. Result: Modification factor, cues to action, individual beliefs and cognator significantly affected the behavior for blood pressure control with t-statistic value >1.96. Modification factors affected individual beliefs (t=10,648). Conclusion: This behavioral model can assist nursing in developing strategies to improve blood pressure control behavior in hypertensive patients. The behavior of the hypertensive patients was possibly improved by the involvement of the health worker by routinely educating the patients and their family related to hypertension and how to control blood pressure and also related to stress and how to manage it as well as with support from the family in self-care management and lifestyle modification.

Abstract

Introduction: Auditory hallucinations are a perceptual condition that causes sounds that do not actually exist to appear to be heard. One method for treating people with auditory hallucinations is one-way conversation therapy. Individual Conversation Therapy is a better alternative therapy for people who experience hallucinations because it provides more meaningful evaluation findings. Objective: Provide care and provide a thorough explanation regarding Individual Conversation Therapy therapy for reducing sensory perception disorders including auditory hallucinations. Method: This research uses a nursing care strategy, with a descriptive case study design, on Mr. R, 23 years old who experiences auditory hallucinations based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data collection process was carried out through interviews using Individual Conversation Therapy techniques, observation and documentation. Result: Based on the case study findings, the patient stated that he was able to improve his hallucinations during Individual Conversation Therapy treatment, indicating that the intervention was effective. Conclusion: The conclusion of nursing care for sufferers of sensory perception disorders (hearing) in patients with hallucinations, the implementation of Individual Conversation Therapy is recommended because the effect of this therapy can reduce hallucinatory sounds. Abstract

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Kuresif 2.0: Barcode in enhancing mothers’ knowledge and attitudes regarding complementary feeding rich in animal protein. Method: A quasi-experimental design was employed, utilizing a pretest-posttest control group framework. The sample consisted of 100 mothers of toddlers, divided into 50 in the control group and 50 in the intervention group, selected through total sampling. Statistical analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon Test and Cohen’s d for effect size. A questionnaire served as the research instrument. Results: The findings indicate that Kuresif 2.0: Barcode significantly improved mothers’ knowledge and attitudes regarding complementary feeding rich in animal protein. The knowledge variable exhibited a t-value of -17.955, with a p-value less than 0.001, indicating a highly significant increase in knowledge. Cohen’s effect size for knowledge was calculated at 0.7, suggesting a moderate impact of the intervention. For attitudes, the t-value was -19.298, also with a p-value less than 0.001, confirming a significant influence of the intervention. The effect size for attitudes, represented by Cohen’s d, was 0.4, indicating a small to moderate effect of the intervention on maternal attitudes. Conclusion: Kuresif 2.0: Barcode significantly enhanced mothers’ knowledge, demonstrating a stronger effect than on attitudes. These results underscore the importance of implementing structured interventions to foster improved knowledge and attitudes among mothers related to complementary feeding practices.

Data were collected through direct observation using an observation sheet, focusing on the CPR procedure performed by the medical team. The observation included the sequence of actions, response times, and outcomes of the CPR process. Data were presented in tables and narratives, with strict confidentiality maintained by anonymizing patient information.. Results: Prior to the administration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), patient Mr. A experienced a decrease in consciousness with a GCS score of 4, sudden respiratory arrest, and cardiac arrest. After CPR was performed, Mr. A was declared deceased, with a success rate of CPR at 0%. Conclusion: Before CPR was performed, there were signs of decreased consciousness, an absent pulse, and no breathing. After the intervention, the patient was declared deceased.

Abstract

Introduction: In neonatal deaths, the WHO records an average of 18 neonatal deaths, maternal deaths in developing countries are related to pregnant women suffering from malnutrition such as KEK. Therefore, malnutrition in pregnant women must be avoided, making pregnant women a target group that requires special attention. There are countries experiencing KEK incidents in pregnant women that lead to maternal and child deaths, while Indonesia is one of the parameters for determining the nutritional status of pregnant women. Nutritional status greatly influences the growth and development of the fetus. Factors related to the nutritional status of pregnant women include maternal knowledge, maternal age, and economic status; these three aspects play a crucial role in meeting nutritional needs and making decisions related to nutritional status. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status in pregnant women based on LILA (Upper Arm Circumference) measurements and birth weight. Method: This research uses a cross-sectional study approach. The population in this study consists of those who have given birth from 2021 to 2023 in the working area of Puskesmas Banggae 1. Sampling was conducted using the Total Sampling technique, with a sample size of 88 respondents. The instrument used for the independent and dependent variables was a checklist, specifically the Spearman Correlation test. Result: The Spearman Correlation test yielded a significance value of 0.000, less than 0.05, indicating a relationship. Conclusion: Thus, there is a relationship between Upper Arm Circumference and Birth Weight.
