Abstract

Kalimantan is part of the world's megadiversity that has high genetic diversity. However, due to habitat degradation and overexploitation, most of these biodiversity are endangered. Currently, in the Banua Botanical Garden (KRB), South Kalimantan, ex-situ conservation effort of some of rare plants has been carried out. However, this activity is still constrained by many things, one of which is the limited data collection and characterization of the collection of rare plants at the location. The objective of this study is to introduce bioinformatics  techniques in supporting ex-situ conservation at the location, especially for research staff and conservation activists at the Banua Botanical Garden and several other government agencies, such as  the Center for the Implementation of Environmental and Forestry Instrument Standards (BPSILHK), the Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA), the Agricultural Technology Assessment Center (BPTP), the Swampland Agricultural Research Center (Balittra) and the Center for Supervision and Certification of Food Crop and Horticultural Crops Seeds (BPSBTPH), including the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).  In its implementation, 11 participants were present as representatives of the already mentioned institutions. In general, the activity was a success and received agood response from all participants. The evaluation showed that the output target of this activity was achieved, i.e., the increase in insight and science and technology ability of research staff and conservation activists at the Banua Botanical Garden as well as several agencies involved in the development and application of the latest bioinformatics techniques to support ex-situ  conservation activities of rare plants in Kalimantan.

Abstract

Abstract The resulting output target is the Karang Kitri Fish Cultivation Group (Pokdakan), East Landasan Ulin Village, Landasan Ulin District, Banjarbaru City in increasing production of 200 kg / day and quality according to independent feed standards. The solutions offered so that Pokdakan Karang Kitri can increase production and feed quality independently and sustainably are introducing (extension) independent and sustainable feed production and quality techniques and training and demonstration (practice) independent and sustainable production techniques and feed quality. The approach method used is empowerment using stages/steps (preparation, implementation and evaluation); The service activities and stages are detailed as follows: preparation of input materials and tools for the manufacture of fish feed and fish rearing, including: preparation of raw materials for making fish feed, preparation of tools and materials for making fish feed, and preparation of other materials and infrastructure, the process of making feed fish; dispersal of fish seeds into cultivation containers for trial feeding, provision of fish feed to cultured fish, harvesting and evaluation of fish growth and feed manufacturing technology. evaluation and monitoring as well as assistance. The form of evaluation is carried out through evaluation of knowledge and skills (t test) and evaluation of economic value analysis. Results of Statistical Analysis of Hypothesis Testing t-test; t-stat is the t-count value that is equal to 27.61448592. P(T<=t) one tail is a p-value of 4.67292E-27. t critical one tail is the value of t table which is 1.68595446 , or increased from 16% to 70.75% . The results from the manufacture of fish feed are able to produce with a capacity of more than 200 kg/one production and get a price of Rp. 5,450/kg with a feed protein range of 30%. Keywords: production; quality; feed; independent; pokdakan

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyaraat ini adalah untuk meningkatan pengetashuan masyaraaat kelompok tani Subur Makmur Desa Bincau Muara Kecamatan Martapura dalam pemeliharaan lebah madu kelulut. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pembimbingan. Kegiatan dalam pembimbingan adalah penyampaian materi tentang lebah madu  kelulut yang meliputi penjelasan mengenai jenis-jenis lebah madu kelulut, sifatnya, kondisi lingungannya, dan makananya. Selanjutnya adalah persiapan pemecahan koloni termasuk peralatan yang digunakan juga penempatan koloni baru dan koloni baru. Demonstrasi tentang teknik pembuatan sarang, termasuk baha-bahan dan peralatan yang diperlukan. Dalam demonstrasi tersebut, mitra telah mencoba mempraktikkan kegiatan pembangunan sarang lebah madu kelulut, yaitu pembuatan “setup” lalu pemecahan koloni, dan cara meletakkan koloni baru maupun koloni lama. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara “learning by doing” atau belajar sambil melakukannya secara langsung. Hasilnya setelah dilakukan evaluasi, secara statistik (uji t berpasangan) menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan mitra meningkat secara signifikan. Mereka berencana apabila koloni lebah yang diberikan sebagai contoh dan bahan pelajaran sudah bisa dipecah lagi, maka mereka akan memecah sendiri koloni lebah kelulut tersebut.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan upaya meningkatkan derajat kehidupan masyarakat setempat. Tim PKM Fakultas Teknik Universitas Lambung Mangkurat melakukan pengamatan langsung terhadap masyarakat desa Danda Jaya, Kecamatan Rantau Badauh, Kabupaten Barito Kuala, Kalimantan Selatan dan menemukan bahwa masyarakat desa tersebut telah terbiasa berkebun dan bertani. Salah satu potensi sebagai daerah pasang surut yang belum dimanfaatkan adalah pembudidayaan ikan. Pelaksanaan budidaya ikan terpadu dengan pertanian dan perkebunan cocok dilaksanakan di lahan ini sesuai dengan penelitian yang ada sehingga ditawarkan kepada masyarakat. Masyarakat masih terkendala dengan teknis dan biaya awal yang dikhawatirkan akan menjadi tanggungan mereka terutama apabila gagal. Untuk itu tim PKM membersamai dan memberikan pendampingan dengan pembuatan kolam percontohan dan memberikan modal awal berupa bibit ikan pepuyu. Pelaksanaan program dimulai dengan sosialisasi mengenai keuntungan melakukan diversifikasi usaha melalui penambahan pemeliharaan ikan di kolam di lahan sekitar kebun atau sawah mereka. Sosialisasi juga dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan kolam dan pemeliharaan berikutnya. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penebaran ikan pepuyu. Pada akhir pemeliharaan diharapkan ikan pepuyu yang mati tidak melebihi dari 30% sehingga masyarakat mempunyai optimisme untuk meneruskan sendiri usaha tersebut.

Abstract

Abstract Damage to the skin can be caused by exposure to sunlight and sweat, which can have negative effects, so proper skin care is needed from an early age. However, problems that occur in skin care tend to require expensive cosmetic purchases. Therefore, it is necessary to use materials derived from nature as ingredients in the manufacture of traditional cosmetics. Cold powder, also known as kasai sadingen, is one of the traditional cosmetics in skin care. The purpose of this activity is to increase the creativity and knowledge of the community regarding the use of herbal cosmetics. The form of the activity is in the form of lectures and demonstrations on making cold powder from pumpkin, which involves the participation of the community in the Panarung Village area of Palangka Raya City. This community service activity went very well, and there was active communication between activity participants and the UPR FK service team. The implementation of community service activities in the processing of kasai sadingen as traditional cosmetics that use herbs ingredients has a positive impact on mothers in the Panarung Village area, Palangka Raya City.Keywords: Powder; Herbs; Cosmetics; Skin; Traditional Abstrak Kerusakan pada kulit dapat disebabkan akibat paparan sinar matahari dan kotoran keringat yang dapat menimbulkan efek negatif sehingga diperlukan perawatan kulit yang tepat sejak dini. Namun, permasalahan yang terjadi perawatan kulit cenderung membutuhkan biaya pembelian kosmetika yang mahal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan bahan yang berasal dari alam untuk diaplikasikan sebagai bahan dalam pembuatan kosmetika tradisional. Bedak dingin atau dikenal sebagai kasai sadingen merupakan salah satu kosmetika tradisional dalam perawatan kulit. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kreativitas dan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait penggunaan kosmetika herbal.Bentuk pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa ceramah maupun demonstrasi pembuatan bedak dingin berbahan labu kuning yang melibatkan peran serta masyarakat di wilayah Kelurahan Panarung, Kota Palangka Raya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berjalan dengan sangat baik dan adanya komunikasi aktif antara peserta kegiatan dan tim pengabdi FK UPR. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam pengolahan kasai sadingen sebagai kosmetika tradisional yang menggunakan bahan herbal di sekitar berdampak positif bagi ibu-ibu di wilayah Kelurahan Panarung, Kota Palangka Raya.Kata kunci: Bedak; Herbal; Kosmestika; Kulit; Tradisional

Abstract

Community service activities in the form of technical guidance on the application of jasmine plant propagation technology have been carried out in Jingah Habang Ilir Village, Karang Intan District, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan on Thursday, September 23, 2021. The technical guidance activity aims to provide training to farmers on jasmine plant propagation technology based on GAP, increasing the production and productivity of jasmine in the flower development center of Banjar Regency, as well as assisting the Regional Government in making policies regarding the flower development center of Banjar Regency. There were 34 participants who attended, consisting of farmers producing jasmine and PKK cadres from five villages, namely Jingah Habang Ilir, Karang Intan, Pandak Daun, Bincau, and Labuan Tabu. The problems found at the producer farmer level are that farmers do not understand the nursery management in the form of the number of cuttings planted in nursery polybags and enclosures, farmers do not understand about the types of pests that attack jasmine plants and their control, and farmers have not received training in the form of theory and practice of plant propagation directly in the field. The solution offered to answer the problem of jasmine propagation in five jasmine-producing villages in Banjar Regency is the need for comprehensive training on jasmine cultivation, support for nursery infrastructure and facilities, monitoring and evaluation on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

Kampung Purun, Palam, Banjarbaru is well-known as the development of creative industries making purun woven products. The products are in the form of various bags, hats, mats and tissue boxes as well as many other various products. The resulting product has a variety of colors, but in the coloring process the craftsmen still use chemical dyes which are not environmentally friendly. Besides that, the product design is still not varied. This service aimed at innovating purun products produced by the villagers of Kampung Purun, especially the Galoeh Bandjar group by redesigning and innovating the dyes used, namely using natural dyes to boost the chances of purun products being able to pass the export curation. Natural dyes were produced from a combination of jengkol skin and sappan wood, with various formulations developed based on previous research results. The best formula used was 12 : 1 : 7 consisting of water : cup : jengkol skin. The jengkol skin used was waste from the Jaring culinary production process. Dyes were made by boiling the two ingredients. Furthermore, the production stages by designing, coloring, determining color composition and evaluating product quality were carried out at the Banjarbaru Government Packaging House. The resulting color was brownish red and ready to be applied to purun products. The results of the curation by the Packaging House stated that the innovative purun product was feasible to be marketed from a quality standpoint. The selling price of the product was set at Rp. 46,000, - with a production cost of Rp. 36,621, - per unit. This means that there is an additional value of IDR 10,379.

Abstract

AbstrakGas Chromatography (GC) merupakan suatu metode standar dalam kurikulum pendidikan sains kimia. Metode ini berupa alat yang mampu memisahkan dan menganalisis senyawa multi komponen berdasarkan data fisiknya. Biasanya ukuran alat adalah besar dengan harga yang mahal. Namun, alat ini dapat dirangkai secara sederhana dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan disekitar (https://youtu.be/w9OMFAAPV0I). Metodologi perakitan mengunakan kompresor, pipa kapiler, elemen panas dan detektor alkohol. Bahan uji berupa fermentasi buah-buahan dan dipraktekkan kepada mahasiswa semester 5 Program Studi Kimia, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) digunakan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap alat GC. Sebelumnya mahasiswa menganggap alat adalah GC rumit (74.4%), mahal (51.2%), tidak bisa dirakit sendiri (39.5%), berukuran besar (51.2%). Namun, setelah terlibat dalam kegiatan perakitan alat GC, persepsi mahasiswa terhadap alat tersebut berubah yaitu rumit (23.3%), mahal (11.6%), tidak bisa dirakit sendiri (0%), berukuran besar (16.3%), simpel (44.2%), biaya terjangkau (37.2%), bisa dirakit sendiri (65.1%) serta berukuran kecil (37.2%). Abstract

To increase food production, the Ministry of Agriculture through various programs carries out activities that can support farming so as to increase food security. West Sumatra Province is one of continues to increase crop production, especially rice, one of which is Pasaman Regency. In this effort, the Ministry of Agriculture provides equipment in the form of soil testing equipment to field officers to be applied in the field. This activity aims to provide knowledge about the use of Rice Field Soil Test Equipment  for farmers in Tanjung Durian Village, Gunung Tuleh District, West Pasaman Regency. This activity is carried out in the form of providing material and practice in the field. In addition, there was also a question and answer session related to problems found by farmers in the field. From the results of the activity, it can be concluded that the farmers were very enthusiastic during the activity, both in receiving material and in direct practice.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at South Kalimantanare a positive contributor to economic growth. It was noted that this year the role of MSMEs reached up to 98%. Based on data for 2020 the number of MSMEs in South Kalimantan has reached more than 33,700. By absorbing a workforce of up to 60,000 people. Credit disbursement is planned to develop MSMEs. One of the requirements for applying for additional capital for a business is a financial report. UMKM Sukses Banua is a community of micro, small and medium enterprises that houses creative entrepreneurs. Members numbered more than 200 members. MSME actors who are members of this association have not kept records or bookkeeping that refer to SAK EMKM-based accounting.The goal to be achieved in this program is to develop the skills of MSME traders or actors so that they have the ability to make SAK EMKM - based accounting practices that will be applied to their businesses, so it is hoped that these MSME actors can have an understanding of the financial position of their businesses and improve their business performance based on financial reports. his efforts. The method used in implementing an understanding of accounting based on SAK EMKM is Participatory Based Learning, namely involvement in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation stages of programs / activities by the proposing team. At the end of the program partners are able to understand bookkeeping, recording and financial reporting in accordance with SAK EMKM - based accounting standards. In the end, with the existence of these financial reporting standards, of course, they can become a simple reference and are more easily accepted by a wider circle of entrepreneurs.
