Abstract

Background: The pharmacist's perception is important to find out whether a pharmacy can implement telepharmacy, which is a new innovation in the pharmaceutical field that requires adaptation in implementation, especially in pharmacies to provide high quality pharmaceutical services to the community. Objective: This study was to determine the pharmacist's perception of the implementation of telepharmaceuticals in pharmacies. Methods: In this study using quantitative methods with analytical observational design, namely cross sectional research design and sampling technique in this study using Consecutive Sampling technique. Results: based on the results of research with 134 pharmacist respondents, it shows that pharmacists' perceptions of telepharmacy implementation in pharmacies show positive perceptions of drug insurance as much as 120 (89.5%), on drug prices 107 (79.8%) positive perceptions, on consumer rights have a positive perception of 130 (97%), on the convenience obtained using telepharmaceuticals have a positive perception of 133 (99.3%), on the regulations governing telepharmacy have a positive perception of 133 (99.3%), and on the risk of selling drugs through telepharmaceutical applications had a positive perception of 84 (62.7%). But only as many as 32 (23.9%) pharmacists who apply telepharmacy in pharmacies seen from the pharmacist's interest in implementing telepharmacy in pharmacies as many as 101 (75.4%) pharmacists are interested in implementing telepharmacy. Conclusion: Pharmacists' perceptions of telepharmacy implementation in pharmacies on drug assurance, drug prices, consumer rights, convenience, regulation, and telepharmacy risks are positive. Abstract

Background: The development of knowledge in the medical field that gave birth to various types of drugs containing chemicals, public confidence in the ability of herbal medicines is decreasing. One of the factors that causes the loss of public confidence in the efficacy of traditional medicines is the loss of knowledge about traditional medicines owned by the ancestors of the Indonesian nation. Knowledge about this family medicinal plant needs to be continuously developed so that the process of creating knowledge continues among the community groups that develop it. Objective: To know the public's knowledge of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA). Methods: Descriptive research with Univariate analysis. Sampling with purvosive sampling technique. The sample of the study was 97 respondents. data obtained from questionnaires distributed to the public. Results: Community knowledge on the types of family medicinal plants 49% in good category, about the benefits of family medicinal plants 84% ​​in good category, about processing methods for family medicinal plants 45% in good category, and community on how to use family medicinal plants 48% quite good category. The use of family medicinal plants in the community there are 27 family medicinal plants. Conclusion: Public knowledge of family medicinal plants in Pemurus Luar Village is on average with good knowledge. Keywords : Knowledge, Family Medicinal Plants

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is widely known as cardiovascular disease, where patients have blood pressure above normal, namely systolic blood pressure 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 90 mmHg. Compliance with taking medication in patients with hypertension is very important because it can control blood pressure in patients with hypertension so as to prevent complications. The level of knowledge of hypertensive patients related to their disease can support the success of therapy so that the blood pressure of hypertensive patients can be well controlled Objective: Knowing the relationship between the level of knowledge and adherence to taking antihypertensive drugs in RP patients at the Kayu Tangi Health Center. Methods: This study used observational analytic with a Cross Sectional approach, data was collected prospectively using a knowledge questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability and a compliance questionnaire using the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8). Results: This study obtained the results of the statistical test of the contingency coefficient with p value = 0.000 < 0.05, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of knowledge and adherence to taking antihypertensive drugs in patients with the Referback Program (RP) at the Kayu Tangi Health Center.

Abstract

Background: In general, the side effects that arise after the vaccine vary. In general, mild and temporary and not always there and depending on the condition of the body. Effects such as fever and muscle aches or redness at the injection site are normal but still need to be monitored. The benefits of vaccines far outweigh the risks of getting sick from being infected if not vaccinated. If a Post-Immunization Follow-up Event (KIPI) occurs, it can be reported to the Health Facility where the vaccination is given, then it will be followed up by the focal point in each Health Service and reviewed by the KIPI Study and Management Committee in each region and nationally. To find out how the level of student understanding influences the side effects of the COVID-19 vaccination at Sari Mulia University, Banjarmasin. Objective: Knowing how to influence the level of student understanding of the side effects of COVID-19 vaccination at Sari Mulia University, Banjarmasin. Methods: This study used a descriptive observational cross-sectional design with purposive sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria set by researchers at Sari Mulia University, Banjarmasin. Data analysis using Naranjo. Results: The results of the research on the incidence rate of drug side effects in the covid-19 vaccine in Sari Mulia University students obtained Probable results as many as 60 respondents, Possible as many as 23 respondents and Doubtful as many as 7 respondents. The results of the statistical analysis of the chi-square test using SPSS. Conclusion: Knowledge questionnaires that have an effect are place of residence, faculty and type of vaccine while age and gender do not affect knowledge. And for the Naranjo questionnaire, the factors that have an effect are the faculty and place of residence, while gender, age and type of vaccine have no effect. The alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted because it found that there was an effect on the level of student knowledge on the side effects of the Covid-19 vaccination at Sari Mulia University, Banjarmasin. Meanwhile, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected because there was no effect on the level of student knowledge on the side effects of the Covid-19 vaccination at Sari Mulia University, Banjarmasin. Abstract

Jahe dan sereh merupakan tanaman yang berkhasiat salah satunya yaitu sebagai anti diabetes tipe 2, senyawa jahe dan sereh yang berkhasiat sebagai antidiabetes antara lain cineol, farnesol, geraniol, linalool, limonen, pinen, terpineol dan zingeron. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memprediksi aktivitas dan farmakokinetik dan toksisitas senyawa yang terdapat di dalam tanaman Jahe dan Sereh. Untuk pencarian ligan uji menggunakan ChEBI, untuk mengetahui prediksi toksisitas senyawa menggunakan Protox Web server, untuk prediksi farmakokinetik menggunakan pkCSM. Dari hasil penelitian  uji toksisitas, farmakokinetik ke delapan senyawa yang ada pada jahe dan sereh mempunyai aktivitas antidiabetes yang aman. Abstract

Background : Clinical pharmacy services at the pharmacy are part of pharmaceutical services that are direct and responsible to patients. Apoteker must practice in accordance with applicable service standards. Objective : The purpose of this study is to determine the application of clinical pharmacy services in the Sleman regional pharmacy based on Permenkes Number 73 of 2016. Method : This research was conducted descriptively with a cross-sectional method and data collection directly. Data collection was carried out using primary data, namely checklist data adapted from Permenkes Number 73 of 2016 concerning pharmacy service standards in pharmacies. Result : The results show that pharmaceutical services at Pharmacy A and Pharmacy B in the Sleman area of Yogyakarta have not fully implemented pharmaceutical service standards based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health no. 73 of 2016. Pharmaceutical services at the Drug Information Service (PIO) are not carried out entirely, at Pharmacy A does not provide information about special formulas, while in Pharmacy B does not provide information about special formulas and pharmacokinetics. Conclusion : In addition to Drug Information Services (PIO) that are not fully carried out, Pharmacy A and Pharmacy B have carried out pharmaceutical service standards in accordance with applicable regulations. Abstract

Latar Belakang : Pencemaran merkuri akibat pendulangan intan terjadi pada saat proses pengolahan yang mengakibatkan sisa tailing berserakan pada saat pembuangan dan pada saat reservoir sudah penuh dan dialirkan ke sungai. Kandungan logam berat berbahaya dan dapat menimbulkan dampak kesehatan bagi manusia jika merkuri masuk ke dalam perairan. Sehingga sangat penting untuk mendeteksi seberapa besar kandungan logam merkuri pada perairan pendulang intan. Air pendulangan Intan Cempaka sering dimanfaatkan masyarakat untuk kehidupan sehari-hari seperti mandi, mencuci pakaian dan lain-lain. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah perairan di area pendulangan intan mengandung logam merkuri (Hg). Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik. Penelitian analitik ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kadar logam merkuri (Hg) secara berkala pada titik-titik tertentu. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perairan pendulangan Intan Cempaka. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil analisa kualitatif terdapat kandungan logam berat merkuri (Hg) pada perairan Kolam Intan Cempaka yang ditandai dengan adanya endapan putih pada pereaksi HCl dan perubahan warna menjadi merah bata pada pereaksi KI, namun pada pereaksi NaOH tidak ada perubahan yang terjadi. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan kadar logam berat merkuri (Hg) sebesar 0,745 µg/L. Kesimpulan: Perairan Intan Cempaka Panning secara kualitatif positif mengandung merkuri (Hg) dan secara kuantitatif terdapat kadar logam berat merkuri (Hg) sebesar 0,745 µg/L.

Abstract

Background: Betel leaf (Piper betle L.) is a plant that contains many important secondary metabolite compounds, one of which is the flavonoid group. empirically in the community, especially in South Kalimantan, who use these leaves as a mixture of cold powder using young betel leaves as protection against sunlight.Objective: To determine the total flavonoid content of the young betel leaf extract fraction (Piper betle L.) and the sun protection factor (SPF) value in the distilled water and ethyl acetate fractions.Methods: The experimental method with a posttest-only control group design involved qualitative analysis using thin layer chromatography (TLC) and quantitative data using UV-Vis spectrophotometry to determine total flavonoid levels and sun protection factor (SPF) values using the Mansur method.Results: The TLC analysis confirmed the presence of flavonoid compounds. Quantitative analysis using UV-Vis spectrophotometry showed total flavonoid content of 14.4 mg EQ/g (1.44%) in distilled water and 16.4 mg EQ/g (1.64%) in the ethyl acetate fraction. The highest SPF value was 17.29 at 600 ppm in the ethyl acetate fraction (ultra protection), while the lowest was in the distilled water fraction at 200 ppm (minimum category).Conclusion: The young betel leaf extract fractions showed that the distilled water fraction contained 14.4 mg EQ/g (1.44%) flavonoids, while the ethyl acetate fraction had 16.4 mg EQ/g (1.64%). The highest SPF value of 17.29 (ultra protection) was found in the ethyl acetate fraction at 600 ppm.

Abstract

Background: Some remote areas often face their own challenges in terms of access and quality of pharmaceutical services, the role of pharmacists and pharmaceutical personnel in the Community Health Center is still a question. Based on this, the researcher is very interested in knowing how the implementation of pharmaceutical services in the Community Health Center in the researcher's place of origin, namely the Community Health Center in Parenggean District.Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe in depth the implementation of pharmaceutical service standards at the Parenggean I Health Center and the Parenggean II Health Center based on the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation number 74 of 2016 and the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation number 26 of 2020.Methods: The methods used were observation and in-depth interviews conducted directly with pharmacists by submitting observation sheets containing questions to obtain information regarding the Management of Pharmaceutical Preparations and Disposable Medical Materials, Clinical Pharmacy Services, Human Resources and Facilities and Infrastructure.Results: There are two Health Centers in Parenggean District. All health centers have implemented the Management of Pharmaceutical Supplies and Disposable Medical Materials in accordance with Permenkes number 74 of 2016, but in terms of Clinical Pharmacy Services, it has not been fully implemented such as patient visits because the two Health Centers do not have inpatient rooms.Conclusion: Pharmaceutical services at Parenggean I Health Center reached 96% and Parenggean II Health Center reached 100% in accordance with Minister of Health Regulation number 74 of 2016 and Minister of Health Regulation number 26 of 2020. These values ​​indicate that overall both Health Centers have met the standards with a good category in providing pharmaceutical services in their working areas

Abstract

Background: One of the plants that is efficacious in the world of medicine is the ylang-ylang plant (Cananga odorata), namely the bark of the ylang-ylang plant which is used by the Kapuas people of Central Kalimantan to treat diseases such as tinea versicolor.Objective: To determine the identification of the antifungal activity test of the bark extract of the ylang-ylang plant (Cananga odorata) against the Malassezia furfur fungus and to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum kill concentration (KBM) of the bark extract of the ylang-ylang plant (Cananga odorata) against the fungus Malassezia furfurMethods: Research method Using experimental methods using the Malassezia furfur fungus. Ylang ylang bark extract (Cananga odorata) was screened for phytochemicals such as alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids/steroids, tannins and saponins. This study used 3 treatment groups consisting of positive control (ketoconazole 200 mg), negative control (DMSO) and ylang ylang (Cananga odorata) bark extract at concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% with disc diffusion and dilution treatments.Results: The bark extract of the ylang-ylang plant (Cananga odorata) contains several secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, tannin saponins and has inhibitory activity using the disc diffusion method with an average diameter of 25.85 mm. Antifungal testing was carried out using the dilution method with a value of MIC is 25% and there is no KBM for the Malassezia furfur fungus.Conclusion: Bark extract of the ylang-ylang plant (Cananga odorata) has antifungal activity against the fungus Malassezia furfur
