Abstract

This study examines the mechanism through which product quality influences repurchase decisions by analyzing the mediating role of consumer satisfaction in the skincare industry. Grounded in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework, product quality is conceptualized as a stimulus, consumer satisfaction as an organismic state, and repurchase decision as a behavioral response. Data were collected from 120 consumers of Skintific skincare products in Makassar City using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that product quality has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction but does not directly influence repurchase decisions. In contrast, consumer satisfaction exerts a strong and significant effect on repurchase decisions and fully mediates the relationship between product quality and repurchase behavior. These findings suggest that in experience-driven and highly competitive skincare markets, perceived product quality alone is insufficient to generate repeat purchases unless it is internalized through positive post-consumption evaluations. This study contributes to consumer behavior literature by extending the application of the S-O-R framework to post-consumption decision-making and by emphasizing consumer satisfaction as a central psychological mechanism driving repurchase behavior. Managerially, the findings highlight the importance of delivering consistent and meaningful usage experiences to strengthen long-term consumer loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of the Current Ratio (CR), Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Return on Assets (ROA) among banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2025 period. The population consisted of 16 banking companies observed over six years, resulting in 96 firm-year observations. The study employed a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the companies’ annual financial reports. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to evaluate the relationship between the independent variables and Return on Assets. The results indicate that the Current Ratio has no significant effect on Return on Assets, suggesting that the level of short-term liquidity does not directly determine the profitability of banking companies. In contrast, the Debt-to-Equity Ratio has a significant effect on Return on Assets, indicating that the companies’ financing structure influences their ability to generate profits from their assets. Total Asset Turnover also has a significant effect on Return on Assets, demonstrating that the efficiency of asset utilization plays an important role in improving financial performance. These findings highlight the importance of effective capital structure and asset management in enhancing the profitability of banking companies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and organizational motivation on organizational commitment among active members of LPM Profesi Universitas Negeri Makassar for the 2025/2026 period. Organizational commitment is an important factor in determining the sustainability and effectiveness of student organizations. However, in practice, several organizational problems such as low participation, declining member retention, and limited engagement in organizational activities indicate that the level of commitment among members may vary. Therefore, examining the factors that influence organizational commitment becomes essential. This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The population consisted of all active members of LPM Profesi Universitas Negeri Makassar for the 2025/2026 period. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, where all members of the population were included as respondents, totaling 55 participants. Data were collected through questionnaires and observations. The data analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS to examine the influence of organizational culture and organizational motivation on organizational commitment. The results indicate that organizational culture does not have a significant partial effect on organizational commitment, while organizational motivation shows a significant influence. However, organizational culture and organizational motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. These findings suggest that motivation plays a stronger role in encouraging members to remain active and committed to organizational activities, while organizational culture functions as a supporting framework that shapes organizational values and behaviors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline on job satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through work stress as an intervening variable on employees of the Samsat UPTB Regional Revenue Office of Gowa Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The study population included all employees of the Samsat UPTB Regional Revenue Office of Gowa Regency. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, so that all members of the population, totaling 46 employees, were used as research respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the help of the SmartPLS application. The analysis was carried out through evaluation of the measurement model, evaluation of the structural model, and hypothesis testing to determine the direct and indirect effects between variables. The results of the study indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on work stress and job satisfaction. Work stress also has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. In addition, the results of the indirect effect test indicate that work stress is able to significantly mediate the effect of work discipline on job satisfaction. These findings indicate that the implementation of work discipline and work stress management are important aspects in improving employee job satisfaction. Therefore, organizations need to implement disciplinary policies consistently while ensuring that job demands remain at a level that employees can manage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload and work discipline on employee job satisfaction at the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency (BAPPERIDA) Office of Mamasa Regency. The type of research used is quantitative with an associative approach, using a questionnaire instrument distributed to 56 active employee respondents. Data were analyzed through multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 27 program. The results of the study indicate that partially workload and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Simultaneously, workload and work discipline together have a significant effect on job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R²) value is 0.585, which means that 58.5% of the variation in employee job satisfaction is explained by these two variables, while the remaining 41.5% is influenced by other factors outside the model such as the work environment, compensation, and leadership style.
