Abstract

Determining strategic warehouse locations is complex because it involves various criteria that are often conflicting, such as cost, ease of access, capacity, and operational risk. This study aims to evaluate a robust model in a Decision Support System (DSS) for warehouse selection using a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach. The applied methodology combines several MCDM techniques, namely the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the criteria weights and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to rank alternatives. In addition, a sensitivity analysis is used to test the level of stability and resilience of the model to changes in criteria weights. The results show that the developed model is able to produce stable and responsive recommendations to variations in decision parameters. The sensitivity analysis also reveals that several criteria have a significant influence on the final result, thus requiring more attention in the weighting process.

Abstract

The management of housing data that is not integrated often leads to delays in information, data inconsistency, and inefficiency in decision-making processes within government institutions. The Public Works and Housing Agency (PUPR) of Lhokseumawe City faces similar issues, where housing data management is still conducted manually using spreadsheet-based systems. This research aims to develop a web-based integrated housing information system to improve efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of housing data. The methodology includes user requirement analysis, system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), and system implementation using PHP and MySQL. The system provides features such as authentication, data management, and visualization dashboards. The results show that the system improves data processing efficiency, reduces redundancy, and supports decision-making in housing rehabilitation programs.

Abstract

Condition monitoring and early detection of machine failures are important aspects in industrial systems to improve operational reliability and reduce the risk of unexpected failures. This study aims to analyze the application of the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method in condition monitoring and early identification of machine failures by utilizing historical data and operational parameters. The variables used include temperature, vibration, pressure, rotational speed, and load as the main indicators of machine condition. The CBR method is implemented through four main stages, namely retrieve, reuse, revise, and retain. The retrieve stage is carried out by finding the most similar case using attribute-weighted similarity calculations, then the solution is adapted in the reuse stage, adjusted in the revise stage, and stored again in the retain stage to enrich the knowledge base. The calculation results show that the similarity value between the new case and the previous case reaches 0.948 (94.8%), which is obtained from a combination of local similarities of temperature (0.98), vibration (0.90), pressure (0.96), speed (0.99), and load (0.95) variables.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the usability level of the PT Palm Trade Company website in order to improve user experience and system effectiveness. The method used is the System Usability Scale (SUS) as a standardized approach to assess users' perceptions of the ease of system use. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents who had directly interacted with the website. The obtained data were analyzed to generate usability scores and to evaluate various levels of user satisfaction. The results of the study indicate that the website falls into the acceptable category, suggesting that the system is generally easy to use and capable of meeting user expectations. However, there are aspects that require further improvement, particularly in terms of interface design and navigation efficiency. The analysis of the coconut export website generally meets usability standards, but requires ongoing improvements to enhance the user experience and support the effectiveness of export transactions. Recommendations for improvement are expected to serve as a guide for developers in optimizing the quality of digital services. In addition, several issues were identified related to information consistency and visual appearance. Based on these findings, several recommendations are proposed to enhance the overall quality and performance of the website. This study concludes that usability evaluation plays an important role in supporting digital platforms, especially in complex agribusiness companies.

Abstract

Stunting remains a significant public health issue in Indonesia, particularly in Aceh Province, where considerable disparities continue to exist across districts and municipalities. Identifying regional prevalence patterns is crucial for developing evidence-based intervention strategies. This study assesses the performance of four unsupervised learning algorithms, namely K-Means, Hierarchical Clustering, Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM), and Fuzzy C-Means (FCM), for clustering district-level stunting data in Aceh Province across five observation periods. Algorithm performance was evaluated using the Calinski-Harabasz Index, convergence efficiency, and cluster interpretability. The findings demonstrate that Fuzzy C-Means outperformed the other methods, achieving the highest Calinski-Harabasz score of 49.75, followed by GMM with 42.61, Hierarchical Clustering with 36.48, and K-Means with 25.30. In addition, FCM showed the fastest convergence, requiring only three iterations. Three stable regional clusters were identified, representing high, moderate, and low prevalence levels. High-prevalence areas included Aceh Barat, Aceh Utara, Aceh Tenggara, Pidie Jaya, Aceh Barat Daya, Simeulue, and Bener Meriah, whereas Subulussalam constituted the low-prevalence cluster. These findings indicate that Fuzzy C-Means provides a reliable approach for regional stunting classification and may contribute to more targeted policy interventions in Aceh Province.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of youth digital political participation in Civic-Oriented Information Systems (COIS) within the context of digital democracy in Indonesia by extending the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) with psychopolitical variables. Although young people demonstrate high levels of internet usage, their engagement in institutional digital platforms remains relatively low, indicating a persistent gap between digital access and substantive civic participation. A quantitative explanatory design was employed, involving 214 respondents aged 17–30 selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through an online survey and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The measurement and structural models were evaluated through reliability, validity, bootstrapping (5,000 subsamples), and predictive relevance testing. The results show that Performance Expectancy is the strongest predictor of participation intention, followed by Political Self-Efficacy and Institutional Trust. Facilitating Conditions and Effort Expectancy also have significant positive effects, while Perceived Risk negatively influences participation intention. Social Influence is not statistically significant, whereas Digital Literacy significantly moderates the relationship between Performance Expectancy and Participation Intention, strengthening the effect of perceived usefulness on behavioral intention. The model explains 61.2% of the variance in participation intention (R² = 0.612), indicating strong explanatory power. The study concludes that youth participation in COIS is shaped by both technological and psychopolitical factors. It contributes theoretically by integrating psychopolitical dimensions into the UTAUT framework and offers practical implications for improving transparency, strengthening political efficacy, and reducing perceived risks in digital governance systems.

Abstract

Plant Pests (PP) are one of the main factors causing a decline in oil palm productivity. This study focuses on the classification of PP, limited to the three main pest species: the rhinoceros beetle (Oryctes rhinoceros), the fireworm (Setora nitens), and the Tioman rat (Rattus tiomanicus). The dataset consists of digital images representing these three pest types. The method used is the Real-Time Detection Transformer (RT-DETR), which is capable of real-time, end-to-end object detection. The research stages include data collection, preprocessing, model training, and evaluation using confusion matrix, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The research results are expected to produce an accurate and efficient crop pest classification system to support decision-making in pest management in oil palm plantations.

Abstract

Manually classifying good quality coffee beans is subjective, can take a considerable amount of time and is hard to standardize among various operators. For this research, computer vision was used to create a classifying system, dividing coffee bean pictures into defect and Good Quality. Based on mobile execution performance, we evaluated five existing computer vision transfer learning models. Image datasets include those used to create it, public online collections of coffee bean images, a primary set collected for use during research and the full combined 1,102-image collection broken down into a training (858 pictures), validation (114 pictures) and test (130 pictures) set. We made images of the same 224x224 resolution, then used an augmentation pipeline that rotated, flipped randomly horizontally and added color changes to increase robustness. Normalized the pixel intensities using statistics gathered for ImageNet. Models were trained identically and used Adam for optimizer and a learning rate, batch size and epoch quantity. Densely Connected Convolutional Neural Network (DenseNet121), EfficientNetB0, MobileNetV2, Residual Network (ResNet50) and Xception all performed at equal settings during experimentation. The top accuracy level came from EfficientNetB0 and Xception, both reaching 96.92% on the testing data. We selected EfficientNetB0 as our core model for its performance, small size and steady use on a smartphone (as seen in the application prototype we made), but it was still a solid performing alternative to Xception. The Android prototype that came from our study supported photo input using either a camera or file upload to provide instant quality status. Transfer learning's ability to enable the use of models capable of automated and consistent assessment for coffee bean quality control would be an improvement in small coffee operations.

Abstract

The Kendeng Zone in Bojonegoro Regency has a high potential for landslides due to its geological conditions and extreme tropical climate. This study aims to map landslide susceptibility levels using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The research employs the Weighted Overlay method, which integrates multiple parameters. The study utilizes secondary data collected between 2021 and 2024, including rainfall records from BBWS, soil and rock maps from RTRW, and land cover data derived from RTRW. The analysis is conducted by assigning weights to each parameter to produce a landslide susceptibility zoning map. The results indicate that the Kendeng region is classified into four susceptibility levels: low, moderate, high, and very high. The area classified as having very high susceptibility covers 5,852.43 hectares, distributed across the Sekar, Gondang, and Temayang sub-districts. While this method provides a comprehensive spatial overview, the study is limited by the resolution of the available datasets and the expert-based subjectivity in weighting factors. The implications of this study highlight the need for increased attention in areas with high and very high susceptibility levels. The local government and communities should enhance preparedness, implement mitigation measures, and develop an early warning system to reduce landslide risks and impacts. Furthermore, the mapping results can serve as a basis for prioritizing areas requiring further intervention, such as reforestation, drainage improvements, and more sustainable land use.
