Abstract

Bebidas Village is one of the villages in Wanasaba District, East Lombok Regency, which has relatively potential to be developed into a cocoa production center. There are two main obstacles faced by farmers, namely the lack of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of cocoa farmers towards cocoa farming management and cocoa bean processing technology into various commercial products and the absence of a standard procedure to produce quality dry cocoa beans. This community service activity aims to assist in processing cocoa plant products into various cocoa products with economic value to increase the income of cocoa farmers in Bebidas Village, Wanasaba District, East Lombok Regency. This activity can increase the productivity of cocoa plants and increase the types of processed cocoa plant products with commercial value.

Abstract

The Damang Saiyo Farmer Group is one of the farmer groups located in Batu Balang Village, Harau District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. This group is quite active, especially in the agricultural sector. Most of the group members are active in agriculture, such as planting rice and gardening. However, there are also group members who raise livestock such as cows. Raising cattle for group members is a side activity and as family savings. Supporting natural resources such as empty land, fertile soil and easy access to green fodder in the form of grass and agricultural waste are supporting factors for raising cattle. The problems found in the Damang Saiyo Farmer Group are the lack of community knowledge about green fodder and never having processed green fodder from agricultural waste such as straw. So far, straw has not been optimally utilized as cattle feed.

Abstract

The failure of organizations to implement governance effectively allows for various problems, including fraud, that have the potential to bring the organization to destruction. One case of ineffective cooperative governance occurred at KUD Selikur Makmur located in South Bahar District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province. The purpose of this community service is to assist KUD Selikur Makmur in improving its governance and financial management. The Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) method, which is divided into three stages-preparation, implementation, and evaluation-was used to carry out the activities. This community service activity resulted in a governance model for KUD Selikur Makmur and improved the knowledge and skills of financial staff in carrying out their activities.

Abstract

Traditional jamu carrying is made using simple traditional processes, such as washing with clean water, peeling, grating, stamping, boiling, filtering, and other processes. The activity was carried out in two stages. In February 2023, coordination, permitting, and surveys were carried out. The implementation and evaluation of community service is carried out in the second week of April to Sunday. Entrepreneurs in Pangkalanbaru District gained a better understanding of NIB, Brand Rights, and the legality of making NIB, the benefits they obtained when registering their business after the NIB business actors obtained legality for their business.

Abstract

This screening aims to detect people with Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus in Residents of RT 09 RW 04 Vim Village, Abepura District. The method is to check blood pressure using digital tension and blood glucose test using Rapid Diagnostic Test. The results of the service found that the proportion of people who suffer from Hypertension is 73% > 40 years old, 62.3% of Non-Papuan tribes, 100% of civil servants and self-employed workers, and 63% of family history of Hypertension. The highest mothers with DM are >40 years old 18.9%, Papuan ethnicity 16.7%, private employment 22.2%, and there is a family history of DM as much as 15.8%. Respondents who had HT were 60%, and mothers who were DM 13.8%. Early detection is needed regularly, to prevent HT and DM diseases from complications with other diseases.

Abstract

Mundurejo Village is one of the production centers for quality Siamese oranges in the Jember Regency. The problem often faced by Siamese orange farmers in Mundurejo Village is that the high production costs are not commensurate with the selling price of oranges, which falls in certain seasons due to intense market competition. Community service activities are carried out to improve residents' skills in processing oranges into products with high-selling value and better packaging and labels. The Service Team provides socialization and training on the production and packaging of milk orange powder drink products with an agenda of activities (1) Introduction to tools and technology in making and packaging products, (2) Socialization of the importance of packaging and labels on products, and (3) Product packaging and labeling practices. The Service Team succeeded in increasing the understanding and skills of the Mundurejo Village community regarding the importance of packaging and labels to maintain product quality and provide clear product information to consumers. It is hoped this activity will produce attractive and informative packaging so that the processed milky orange powder drink product can become a village icon and have a sustainable positive impact on the community.

Abstract

Women farmers have almost the same role as male farmers, in fact they are directly involved in various stages of activities, especially during the planting and post-harvest period. The development of women farmers in rural areas is fostered through a group forum. To strengthen the institution of the Women Farmers group and focus on coaching, the implementation of the activity was carried out at the Mabi Subak Hall, Belantih Village. It began with a Coordination Meeting of the Farmer Women Group which was opened by the head of Belantih Village who was accompanied by the head of Banjar Mabi hamlet. The Women's Farm Workers Group (KWBT) is an agricultural institution created with the aim of facilitating the activities of women agricultural workers from the orange plant maintenance sector, farm worker equipment assistance, capital to innovation in processing post-harvest orange products into innovative products that have a selling value.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in supporting the Indonesian economy. However, many MSMEs still face challenges in effective financial management and digital marketing. This community service aims to improve the financial management and digital marketing capabilities of MSMEs through the use of mobile-based accounting applications and Google Business Profile. This activity involves hands-on training to MSME players to optimize the use of these two tools, which are expected to have a positive impact on improving the competitiveness and sustainability of their business. The results of this service show that MSMEs that apply this technology experience improvements in financial management and market access, thus making a significant contribution to local economic development.

Abstract

Digital Marketing Training for Sumber Rejeki Bawang MSMEs in Kediri Regency, aims to increase the understanding and skills of MSME players in utilizing digital technology for product marketing. This activity involved the owner and employees of Sumber Rejeki Bawang MSME. The training included an introduction to social media and marketplaces, content marketing techniques, and search engine optimization (SEO). Through a workshop and hands-on approach, participants were trained to utilize digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Shoppe, and Tokopedia to expand their market and improve the competitiveness of their products. The training results showed that participants experienced a significant increase in their understanding of the use of digital marketing, with most starting to utilize social media and marketplaces as marketing channels. Overall, this training can improve the marketing capacity of Sumber Rejeki Bawang MSMEs and open up opportunities to expand the market, both locally and nationally.

Abstract

This service aims to help MSME partners of Toko Senang Hati and Kios Rahmat to reduce losses due to expired goods. The methods used are observation for introduction to the types and conditions of MSME partners, interviews to identify problems, socialization of the solutions offered, namely using the partners, socialization of the solutions offered, namely using inventory management with the FIFO method, training and assistance with help partners manage inventory of goods simply starting from making inventory cards and managing expiry dates, making inventory cards and grouping goods, finally an evaluation to determine the impact of the solution. To determine the impact of the solution and periodic evaluations are carried out. The result of this service, MSME partners of Toko Senang Hati and Kios Rahmat can find out how to manage inventory properly and correctly. How to manage inventory properly and correctly so as to reduce losses due to expired goods, losses due to expired goods.
