Abstract

Flipped learning is a learning model that moves the delivery of material outside the classroom and focuses understanding inside the classroom with the role of the teacher as a facilitator. This approach increases students' control over learning time and pace, as well as increases participation and critical thinking skills. The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in English language learning expands access to learning resources and supports collaboration. The challenges of its implementation in high school include teacher readiness and evaluation fit, which can be overcome through training that focuses on the effective application of ICT.

Abstract

Education and training on service aims to provide an overview of simple financial statements to partners and provide guidance on the preparation of appropriate simple profit and loss, in detecting potential profits or losses experienced. Thus, it is expected that MSMEs have strong competitiveness and are able to make the right decisions when encountering potential losses. The implementation process includes observation methods, socialization and education, training, and evaluation which was held in November. The result obtained is that both partners are able to understand about simple financial statements and their role in determining the level of sales profits. In addition, they are also able to identify elements of simple financial statements and form reports with satisfactory results.

Abstract

Two business actors (MSME) located in Caturtunggal sub-district, Depok District, Sleman Regency participated in this community service to improve MSMEs understanding of simple financial report bookkeeping. The techniques used were surveys, interviews, and socialization. Choosing these two business actors because of their lack of understanding of simple financial report bookkeeping. This activity was carried out in stages by visiting business actors one by one at their workplaces. The results showed that business actors gained a better understanding of simple financial report bookkeeping.

Abstract

PT. Jamkrida NTB Syariah Bersaing is a Regionally-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) engaged in the credit guarantee business sector. This community service activity aims to provide training in sharia accounting for kafalah contract and technique for reading financial statements, which was attended by all elements in the organization of PT. Jamkrida NTB Syariah Bersaing. The methods used in this community service activity include presentation, case and discussion. The contents of the presentation are kafalah contract, both concept and practice, and financial statements. Some of the problems discussed include customer eligibility assessments, collateral, suborgation, and kafalah contract. This activity provides many benefits, especially for employees in the fields of finance and accounting, in the form of a better understanding of sharia accounting and financial statements.

Abstract

This service has an output to provide an understanding of the formation of nagari regulations. The object of this service is located in the Nagari Tungkar Government, Fifty Cities Regency, West Sumatra Province with the target focused on the Nagari Tungkar Government apparatus. From the initial exploration, it was found that the Nagari Tungkar apparatus still knew little about the formation of nagari regulations. In fact, the draft nagari regulation on the Nagari Tungkar Customary Density was made not in accordance with the principles and guidelines for the formation of laws and regulations. The method of implementing this service consists of 3 (three) stages, namely Phase I of seminars/socialization, Phase II review of draft state regulations, Phase III of discussion and evaluation. The results of the service found that there is not enough literacy to make nagari regulations This contribution of service is able to increase literacy as well as contribute to forming nagari regulations that obey the principles, types, and hierarchy of laws and regulations.

Abstract

This activity aims to help teachers develop teaching modules that are integrated with the values of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah and in accordance with the Learning Outcomes in the Independent Curriculum. This activity was held at SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati in September 2024 with 18 teachers as participants, the methods used included socialization, workshops, and mentoring. Socialization provides an understanding of integrated modules, workshops equip teachers with skills to develop them, and mentoring supports the integration of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah values. This activity also includes the inclusion of verses of the Quran and related Hadiths. As a result, teachers gain new knowledge and skills, and are advised to be more active in developing the module.

Abstract

61.9% or 318 districts/cities were declared malaria-free and there are still 196 districts/cities that are targeted for elimination. The total number of malaria sufferers in Mbatakapidu village is 6 sufferers in 2020, 55 in 2021, 155 in 2022 and has decreased, namely in 2023 the number of sufferers is 56. The goal is to improve community knowledge and skills in the health sector by providing independent malaria prevention education that can be carried out by the community, developing independent community groups in the health sector by empowering malaria cadres and providing education to the community regarding the use of mosquito nets Results: There was an increase during the post-test, namely good 68% and sufficient 32%. The Mbatakapidu Village community became aware of malaria and procedures for modifying the environment and learned about the importance of maintaining cleanliness both in the environment and in the house.

Abstract

Community service through legal counseling aims to increase students' understanding of the dangers of promiscuity and introduce Law No. 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (SPPA Law) in MTsN 1 Palangka Raya City. Promiscuity among adolescents has a significant negative impact, including the risk of involvement in criminal acts. The methods used include implementation methods and activity methods, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation through pretest and posttest to measure effectiveness. The results showed an increase in students' understanding from the majority of low categories (81.7%) to high (73.3%) after counseling. This counseling not only increases knowledge but also equips students with an understanding of the law to create a positive social environment and prevent them from risky behaviors.

Abstract

Talimbaru Village is one of the villages in Barusjahe District, Karo Regency. This village is one of the centers for producing cabbage (Cabbage) plants. The cabbage waste produced has not been utilized and is usually only thrown away or left behind on agricultural land. The fermentation process of cabbage waste can be converted into liquid organic fertilizer (POC) which can be used to improve the soil and can be a useful nutrient for plant growth. This service activity aims to provide training in making liquid organic fertilizer to farmer groups with materials in the form of cabbage waste as the main ingredient and coconut water, clean water, yeast, brown sugar and EM-4 as decomposer liquid. The results of this activity were in the form of high response and enthusiasm of participants in participating in socialization and training and obtaining leachate that can be diluted as a soil amendment and nutrients for plant growth.
