Abstract

This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each cycle being held in 4 meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were PGSD students at Quality University. The results showed that in the first cycle, 37% completed the individual criteria for critical thinking skills or were in the less critical category, classically they had not been fulfilled because the average score was 60. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, 88% of students completed has met the criteria for critical thinking ability and classically has been fulfilled, namely the average value obtained is 85 or is in the very critical category. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the critical thinking skills of PGSD students through the guided Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model have increased.

Abstract

Matematika sebagai salah satu ilmu dasar, dewasa ini telah berkembang pesat baik materi maupun kegunaannya. Matematika melambangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan menggambarkan bilangan-bilangan dan simbol-simbol serta ketajaman penalaran yang dapat memberi kejelasan dan menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu tujuan pembelajaran matematika mengharapkan siswa memiliki kemampuan pemahaman matematika yang baik sehingga siswa mampu untuk mengaplikasikan konsep-konsep yang telah dipahaminya. Pemahaman konsep ini sangat penting karena akan sangat berguna untuk penguasaan materi pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang peneliti lakukan terhadap proses pembelajaran matematika di universitas quality, menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran matematika masih cenderung berpusat kepada dosen. Saat pembelajaran berlangsung dosen aktif memberikan penjelasan didepan kelas sedangkan siswa hanya mendengarkan, mencatat, dan mengerjakan latihan soal. Dalam pembelajaran matematika yang berlangsung bahan ajar yang dibebankan kepada dosen untuk disampaikan kepada siswa sangat banyak. Dosen cenderung memilih metode pembelajaran yang lebih menekankan bagaimana menyelesaikan beban kurikulum tepat waktu dari pada menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang mengajak siswanya untuk mengembangkan kemampuan diri dalam pembelajaran, Akibatnya adanya kesulitan dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan pemahaman konsep matematis mahasiwa yang diajarkan dosen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Komunikasi Kepala Sekolah dan Budaya Organisasi Dengan Kinerja Guru SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan baik secara bersama-sama maupun secara parsial dengan hipotesis terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Komunikasi Kepala Sekolah dan Budaya Organisasi Dengan Kinerja Guru SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh guru SMP Negeri yang ada di Kecamatan Doloksanggul berjumlah 176 orang dengan sampel 88 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket tertutup, yang disusun oleh peneliti berdasarkan indikator variabel penelitian. Ketiga hipotesis dalam penelitian ini terbukti, hipotesis pertama koefisien korelasi (rx1y) = 0.689 > rtabel (0.05,88) = 0,213 dan nilai Sig = 0.000 < 0.05 atau nilai thitung =8,806 > ttabel (0.05,88-2) = 2,000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Komunikasi Kepala Sekolah Dengan Kinerja Guru SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan. Hipotesis kedua diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi (rx2y) = 0.683 > rtabel (0.05,88) = 0,213 dan nilai Sig = 0.000 < 0.05 atau nilai thitung =8,679 > ttabel (0.05,88-2) = 2,000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Budaya Organisasi Dengan Kinerja Guru SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan. Hipotesis ketiga koefisien korelasi ganda (R) = 0.775 683 > rtabel (0.05,88) = 0,213 dan nilai Sig. F change = 0.000 < 0.05, hal ini berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan yang positif signifikan antara komunikasi kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara komunikasi kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja guru SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan baik secara bersama-sama maupun secara parsial karena telah teruji secara empiris.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes by using a cooperative learning model assisted by diorama media in science subjects in class V of SD Negeri 066656 for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research carried out was classroom action research, the subjects of this research were class V students at SD Negeri 066656, totaling 27 students. The object of this research is the use of a cooperative model assisted by diorama media in science subjects in class V of SD Negeri 066656. To determine the implementation of student learning, the data collection tools used in this research are observation sheets and description tests. Before conducting research and treatment, researchers carried out a pre-cycle and obtained an average result of 52.41. Next, the researcher carried out the treatment using a cooperative learning model assisted by diorama media. In cycle I, the average was 62.59 and in cycle II, the average was 88.52. The results of this research showed that in the pre-cycle it was 29.63%, increasing in the first cycle with 12 students who not completed (44.45%) and 15 students who did complete (55.55%). Furthermore, in cycle II, there were 25 students who completed (92.59%) and 2 students who did not complete (7.40%). Based on the results of the research carried out, it can be concluded that implementing learning using a cooperative model assisted by diorama media in science subjects in class V of SD Negeri 066656 for the 2023/2024 academic year can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to provide a new innovation in mathematics learning, because based on the results interviews, researchers found that mathematics learning is less innovative, learning strategies are still monotonous and learning methods are less interesting so that students' cognitive growth is not optimal. The Sudoku game is a logic-based puzzle game that can improve junior high school students' cognitive abilities in a mathematics learning environment. Sudoku trains the student's mind to absorb several strategies and pieces of information in a short time. Apart from that, this game can also help improve students' memory and concentration. Sudoku can be used as a game choice that can increase students' concentration in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This research was conducted in class V of MIS AL-Khairat Deli Tua which consisted of 28 students in classes V-A and V-B. This type of research is quasi-experimental. This research aims to see the effect of using diorama media on students' science learning outcomes. The data obtained from this research is that there is a significant influence of the use of diorama media on students' science learning outcomes. This can be seen from the average score of class V-A students, namely 78, who are in the experimental class or who use diorama media, and the average score of class V-B students, namely 67.5, who are in the control class or who do not use diorama media. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of diorama media influences the science learning outcomes of class V students at MIS AL-Khairat Deli Tua.Keywords: Learning Media, Science Learning Outcomes

Abstract

A healthy lifestyle is the basis for developing good physical fitness, so that you can complete routine tasks without feeling tired and participate in various extracurricular activities. Because lifestyle has a big influence on life and health, especially now that many new diseases are emerging, it is very important to maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to have a fit body. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between healthy lifestyle and physical fitness of students at SMA Negeri 2 Kabanjahe. This research method uses a quantitative approach and correlation is used for this type of research. The population of this study consisted of students from SMA Negeri 2 Kabanjahe. The sample for this research was X, XI, totaling 55 using the census. This research's data collection technique uses a questionnaire to measure healthy lifestyle patterns to identify students' lifestyle habits. Meanwhile, the MFT test measures physical fitness. SPSS version 20 was used to analyze the data in this study which included descriptive statistics, Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, and Spearman rho correlation test. The research results showed that the average score for a healthy lifestyle was 90.11% with the highest result being 117 and the lowest result being 56. The average fitness score was 48.5 (maximum) and 20.4 (minimum). The correlation test shows the value of healthy living and physical fitness of students (r=0.051, p=0.632 > 0.05). So it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between a healthy lifestyle and the physical fitness of SMA 2 Kabanjahe students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media PhET Simulations untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar materi pecahan siswa SD 056604 Purwobinangun semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan model one-shot case study. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 17 orang yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh dari sampel penelitian berupa nilai hasil belajar matematika siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji-t dua sampel berpasangan. Dari hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai thitung (7,21) > ttabel 2,12 dan nilai peluang p (0,0000021) < α (0,05). Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media PhET dalam pembelajaran matematika materi pecahan di SD 056604 Purwobinangun.

Abstract

Audio visual learning media makes it easier for students to understand material from the abstract to the more concrete so that students are able to understand the subject matter well, thereby improving student learning outcomes. This research aims to analyze the activities of using learning media in improving student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation and interviews with class teachers. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Based on research results, the use of audio-visual learning media has proven to be very effective in improving science learning outcomes, apart from that, there is also the involvement of internal and external factors in terms of student learning activities in class.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah suatu usaha sadar yang dilakukan secara sistematis dalam mewujudkan suasana belajar-mengajar agar para peserta didik dapat mengembangkan potensi dirinya. Dengan adanya pendidikan maka seseorang dapat memiliki kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, kepribadian, kekuatan spiritual, dan keterampilan yang bermanfaat bagi diri sendiri dan masyarakat. Untuk mencapainya harus melalui tahap demi tahap yaitu belajar untuk mencapai kedewasaan melalui bimbingan dan memiliki motivasi yang tinggi.Motivasi merupakan proses internal yang menjadi salah satu faktor penggerak bagi siswa untuk mau melibatkan dan mengarahkan dirinya ke dalam pembelajaran hingga mencapai hasil tertentu. Motivasi siswa dapat digerakkan dari faktor eksternal seperti pemberian materi oleh guru yang disusun secara kreatif, dukungan dari orang tua, sedangkan motivasi dari faktor internal dapat digerakkan dengan adanya minat belajar dari siswa. Motivasi tersebut dapat juga dilihat dari kegiatan belajar.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Study Deskriptif. Iuaran yang ditargetkan dari penelitian yang diusulkan yaitu untuk membantu menemukan motivasi belajar siswa.
