Abstract

This research was a descriptive qualitative that aimed to find out the effect of using greeting words in the work environment. The subject of this research was employees in Harapan University Medan. The object was utterances uttered by the employees in Harapan University Medan. To collect the data, the researcher did the observation and also interviewed the employees. The data was analyzed by using Interactive Mode by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana which consisted of some steps, they are: collecting data, condensation, presence, and draw the conclusion.

Abstract

Ada tiga factor pendukung bertambahnya warga penduduk di kabupaten Karo. Faktor pertama adalah kelahiran, faktor kedua adalah kematian dan factor ketiga adalah perpindahan penduduk. Pada penelitian ini faktor perpindahan ada dua yaitu perpindahan penduduk masuk dan perpindahan yang pergi keluar daerah dari kabuten Karo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah apakah jaringan saraf tiruan menggunakan bacpropagation dapat memprediksi total warga kabupaten Karo pada tahun 2040 dengan baik, dengan memperhatikan tiga faktor pendukung tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan dengan bantuan aplikasi Matlab. Data total warga kabupaten Karo diambil melalui data BPS kabupaten Karo mulai tahun 2010 sampai dengan tahun 2022. Algoritma backpropagation akan dipakai fungsi aktivasi sigmoid karena pada fungsi aktivasi sigmoid nilai fungsinya terletak antara 0 dan 1 kemudian data tersebut ditransformasikan terlebih dahulu ke interval yang lebih kecil. Langkah awal dalam menentukan proses normalisasi data adalah dengan cara menentukan data yang akan dinormalkan (X), lalu menentukan nilai yang paling tinggi dan nilai paling rendah  dari data yang ada. Pada bacpropagation dilakukan Langkah sebagai berikut : tahap initialization, activation, iteration, pelatihan dan pengujian. Hasil dari penelitian bahwa nilai korelasi diperoleh sebesar 0,9856, artinya memperlihatkan bahwa prediksi jumlah warga kabupaten Karo menggunakan data rentang 11 tahun  dari tahun 2012 sampai dengan tahun 2022 tergolong sangat baik, nilai error terkecil terlihat data ke-67 yaitu sebesar -0,0005 dan error terbesar pada data ke-1 yaitu sebesar 0,1684 nilai MSE dari akhir pelatihan sebesar 0,075491. Sehingga dapat diprediksikan total warga kabupaten Karo pada tahun 2040 menggunakan jaringan saraf tiruan metode bacpropagatation adalah 510.765 warga.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the level of students' mathematical communication skills and emotional intelligence on student learning outcomes in mathematics learning. This research uses a quantitative type of research with one independent variable, namely emotional intelligence and one dependent variable, namely mathematics learning outcomes. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling so that the sample used was 60 students from class VI of SD Cenderamata. Data collection was carried out by means of literature study, distribution of emotional intelligence questionnaires and odd midterm exam (UTS) score data for the 2023/2024 academic year. Based on these data, it can be concluded that class VI students at Cenderamata Elementary School have relatively moderate emotional intelligence, meaning that the students' emotional intelligence is good. This is reinforced by the relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning outcomes and that 17.24% of students' mathematical communication skills are in the high category with a frequency of 10 students, 70.69% are in the medium category with a frequency of 42 students and 12, 07% of students are in the low category with a frequency of 8 students. Based on these data, it can be concluded that class VI students at Cenderamata Elementary School have low mathematical communication skills. From the results it can be interpreted that there is a moderate relationship between communication skills and emotional intelligence on mathematics learning outcomes with the contribution of emotional intelligence to the high and low levels of mathematics learning outcomes of 31.6% and 68.4% were influenced by other factors outside the research.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how effective the procurement of BOS goods in the private SMP of BNKP Luzamanu, find obstacles, and solutions in the provision. The type of research used is a qualitative descriptive type and supported by secondary data. The technique used is a triangulation method that compares information or data in different ways. The subjects used in this study are the Boss Treasury, the School Operator, the Head of the School, and reinforced with documents in the implementation of the acquisition. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the use of SIP applications is very effective in the procurement of BOS goods in the private SMP of BNKP Luzamanu. Some obstacles were found in the implementation of this acquisition, problems arose on resources, adaptation, and price comparison. But that does not make it a fatal thing, because it can be overcome with the help of various parties.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to test the direct influence of teacher performance in building student conceptual understanding of mathematical reasoning, as well as the direct impact of teacher's performance in constructing student's understanding of conceptual, mathematic reasoning and mathematics literacy on students' learning results. This study took the subjects of the students of the eighth grade in the 3rd grade state high school in Karo district of a total of 255 students. This research is a study of quantitative methods using ex-post facto approaches of a corrosional nature. Data is collected using tests, then processed and analyzed with path analysis techniques. The results of this study show that: (a) there is a direct influence of the teacher's performance in building conceptual understanding of the student's mathematical reasoning; (b) there has been a direct impact of the teachers' performance in constructing the students' understanding of conceptual reasoning and mathematics literacy on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Geogebra is one of the applicative software that can be used as a learning medium for mathematics in the 4.0 era. This application can help teachers in creating learning media especially in the geometry material as well as geogebra can facilitate mathematical teacher in making graphical illustrations and geometric designs so that it is expected to arouse the spirit of students in learning math. The method used in this research is a literature review. The purpose of this research is (1) to explain the definition of geogebra; (2) to demonstrate the use of Geogebra as a learning medium in improving the ability of teachers in teaching mathematics in the era 4.0. The result of this study is that geogebra is a dynamic and interactive program that allows for a lot of exploration of a mathematical concept especially on the material of geometry transformation.

Abstract

Effectiveness and implementation in curriculum development is very dependent on the competence of teachers and the facilities available in schools. It is considered capable of articulating the topics contained in the curriculum. In addition, the success of curriculum development also depends on the management of each teacher. Each of the existing components must be appropriate and well realized. With the suitability and accuracy of each component in the curriculum, it is hoped that the goals and objectives of education will be achieved optimally. Curriculum management is very important, because without management education will not run well. A curriculum that is developed will be meaningless if it is not implemented, in the sense that it is actually used in schools. The success of curriculum management is primarily determined by the aspects of planning and implementing strategies. Curriculum implementation as an integral part of curriculum development requires concepts, principles and procedures as well as management approaches. This study emphasizes the policy of the school leadership at SD Negeri 173423 Lumban Naungkup in implementing curriculum management. The curriculum used at SD Negeri 173423 Lumban Naungkup for grades I to VI uses the 2013 curriculum. Curriculum planning at SD Negeri 173423 Lumban Naungkup uses lesson plans and syllabus as a reference for teachers to teach in class.Keywords: Implementation, Curriculum, Management;

Abstract

This research was carried out at SDN 10 Salaon Tonga-Tonga, Ronggur District, Samosir Regency. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes with the material I and my needs in class IV by using a cooperative learning model type course review horay. The subjects of this research were all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 10 Salaon Tonga-Tonga, with a total of 18 students. The object of this research is the use of the Cooperative Learning Model Type Course Review Horay on the material I and my needs at Class IV SD Negeri 10 Salaon Tonga-Tonga. Data collection tools are observation sheets and multiple choice tests. This research is classroom action research with a research design according to Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The data analysis used the learning implementation formula, individual learning outcomes, classical completeness and average student learning outcomes. Based on the first cycle research, it was found that the results of implementing teacher activity learning were 58% in the sufficient category and the implementation of student activity learning received a score of 69 in the sufficient category, individual learning completeness was 10 students, while classical completeness was obtained by 56% of students completing and the average score 69. Cycle II  obtained results from the implementation of teacher activity learning of 80% in the good category and the implementation of student activity learning received a score of 89 in the good category, individual learning completeness was 16 students, while classical completeness was obtained by 89% of students complete and the average score was average 79. The results of this research can be concluded that the cooperative learning model type course review horay can improve student learning outcomes in implementing learning using the Cooperative Learning Model Type Course Review Horay my material and my needs at SDN 10 Salaon Tonga-Tonga

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media permainan ludo terhadap motivasi belajar matematika pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2023 di Desa Lintong Nihuta Kecamatan Ronggur Nihuta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket  motivasi belajar matematika berisi 20 pertanyaan dan dokumentasi lapangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak usia sekolah dasar yang mengikuti layanan bimbingan di lokasi MBKM desa Lintong Nihuta yang berjumlah 30 orang. Sedangkan sampel penelitian berjumlah  12 orang yang diambil secara acak dengan tingkatan kelas yang berbeda. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh t hitung sebesar  0.000246 dan t tabel sebesar 0,05 t hitung < t tabel  artinya  ada pengaruh yang signifikan media permainan ludo terhadap motivasi belajar matematika pada anak usia sekolah dasar di Desa Lintong Nihuta Kecamatan Ronggur Nihuta Kabupaten Samosir

Abstract

Latarbelakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul dimana masih banyak siswa/siswi yang tidak masuk perguruan tinggi negeri. Hipotesa dalam penelitian ini yakni: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah dengan mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri sekecamatan Doloksanggul; 2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif motivasi kerja guru dengan mutu pendidikan di SMA Negeri se-kecamatan Doloksanggul; 3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru dengan mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri se-kecamatan Doloksannggul. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan statistik deskriptif, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri seKecamatan Doloksanggul dengan populasi sebanyak 97 orang guru yang juga merupakan sampel dari penelitian. Dari hasil analisis data yaitu: a) uji hipotesa X1 dengan Y secara parsial diperoleh rhitung sebesar 0,944 > dari rtabel sebesar 0,1996 sehingga H01 ditolak dan Ha1 diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan yang positif dan sangat kuat komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah dengan mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul; b) uji hipotesis X2 terhadap Y secara parsial diperoleh rhitung sebesar 0,840 > dari rtabel sebesar 0,1996 sehingga H02 ditolak dan Ha2 diterima yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan sangat kuat motivasi kerja guru dengan variabel mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul; c) uji hipotesis X1 dan X2 secara simultan dengan Y diperoleh rhitung sebesar 0.979 > dari rtabel sebesar 0,1996 artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan sangat kuat komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru secara simultan dengan mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri seKecamatan Doloksanggul.
